Title card: Raw Deal

Rosa fainted at the title card.

"Isn't that a tarot card?" asked Clyde, noticing the layout.

"The Grim Reaper. In tarot cards, it represents death." drawled Haiku.

"LINCOLN DIED?!" everyone but Lincoln and his family screamed.

"I'm not dead! I'm standing right here!" retorted Lincoln, annoyed.

"Lisa could've revived you." countered Zach.

"While flattered, I must assure you that I never once attempted reviving any specimen. It's unnatural," said Lisa.

"So Lincoln didn't die?" asked Frida.

"NO!" shouted the Louds. Everyone sighed in relief while Rosa recovered.

"So is this a Lucy episode? She's the only one in your family that I can see using tarot cards," asked Girl Jordan.

"I only started when… (realizes) oh dear." sighed Lucy, looking at Lisa and Lincoln.

[The episode begins with the Loud Family on a road trip in Vanzilla.]

Lana: "Dad, are we there yet?"

Lynn Sr.: "Not yet, kiddo. A few more hours."

Lana: "Oh, okay." [beat] "Are we there yet?"

"We get that a lot in the car too." said Frida.

"Well there's not much to see out the window!" Carl pouted.

[Lincoln is looking at a guidebook of the place the family's visiting.]

Lincoln: [to the viewers] "Today, we're going to Grand Venture State Park, and it's gonna be awesome! We're gonna hike, and fish, and check out the caves..."

[As he explains what they're gonna do, imaginary panels of him doing those activities appear.]

"That sounds awesome!" said Bobby.

Leni: "And I can't wait to see Pop-Pop!"

[Her siblings look at her confused.]

Leni: "The guidebook said there was an old geezer in the park."

Everyone facepalmed, but Albert looked amused.

"I may be old, but I sure ain't no geezer." chuckled Albert. "But Bernie? He is one."

"So you weren't there that day?" asked Haiku.

"Nope. I was at home." Albert replied.

Lincoln: "Geyser, not geezer. See? Here it is." [shows her the actual geyser in the guidebook.]

Luna: "I hope we get to see it blow. That would be rockin'!"

"Seeing a geyser blow would be awesome." Zach said in agreement.

Lisa: "I wouldn't hold my breath. It's been inactive for years."

Leni: "So, it is like Pop-Pop."

"I wouldn't say that." said Lincoln. "Pop-Pop may be old, but he's as active as a teenager."

"So are me and Rosa." said Hector.

"Yeah! Who says old people can't be tough?" Rosa smirked.

"Mama Lupe proves that too." Ronnie Anne said in agreement.

Lana: "Now are we there yet?"

Lynn Sr.: "Lana, stop asking."

Lana: "Well, Hops is asking, not me!"

"Way to get Mr. Loud annoyed with Lana Hops." Sid lightly scolded the amphibian.

Hops shrugged.

Lola: [struggling with the seat belt] "This seat belt is wrinkling my dress!" [pants with anger]

Rita: "Why don't you guys play some car games?"

Lynn: "How about Football? I'll be the QB. Hike!" [tosses her ball in the car, causing it to nearly rear off-road and make her family scream in panic. She smiles nervously.]

"Jesus Lynn they could've crashed!" cried Paula.

"Yeah, my bad." Lynn apologized.

Rita: "How about something a little less dangerous?"

Lucy: "I have a new deck of fortune telling cards. I could give everybody readings." [shuffles the cards]

Rosa looked at Lucy, interested. "You can tell the future?" she asked. "Out of curiosity are you a fan of Ernesto Estrella?"

"Abuela not now." Ronnie Anne groaned.

"I can yeah, using my cards...and no I'm not fan of him, I don't think he actually can tell the future."

Rosa was shocked. "Que?! But he is the best fortune teller out there!"

"He is too bright and shiny… I don't feel someone like him actually understand the old mystic arts." said Lucy.

"A fortune teller that thinks another fortune teller is a fake… now that's irony." remarked Lisa.

"You may not think so, but Ernesto is very accurate." countered Rosa. "He predicted that I would have two children, a beautiful home, and a charming husband."

A belch is heard in the distance. Everyone turned and saw Hector near the table eating a tamale, scratching his butt, and pulling out a wedgie. He saw everyone looking at him.

"What? Mr. Grouse can have popcorn and I can't have a tamale?" he asked. "It doesn't hurt to snack when watching a movie or TV show."

"He got 2 out of 3." Rosa drawled.

Evertoen couldn't help but snicker. Like the last tiem Rosa said that, Hector shrugged, finished his tamale, and sat down.

[Her siblings agree to that and want their fortunes told. She puts on a turban as the background changes to a spacial setting.]

"Ooh!" everyone said in awe, especially the Mortician's Club.

"I gotta get that for wallpaper in my room." said Persephone.

Lucy's Siblings: "Me first!" / "Over here, Lucy!"

Lucy: "It's Madame Lucy."

Lucy's Siblings: "Ooh!"

"I like the sound of that." said Rocky, making Lucy blush.

[The cards are dealt. The first card shows a galleon sailing on the ocean.]

Lucy: "Lori, you will go on a long trip."

Lori: [excited] "Ooh. Maybe Bobby's taking me to Italy! He is working at that pizza place."

"I wish I could babe, but I don't have the money… yet." said Bobby.

[The next card shows a castle door opening up to planets in the night sky.]

Lucy: "Lola, the universe will open doors for you."

Lola: [scoffing] "Ha. Tell me something I don't know."

"The universe has gone mad." snarked Carl, only to cower at Lola growling.

[The next card shows a knight on his steed facing strong winds.]

Lucy: "Luan, you will soon be blown away."

Luan: "How fortunate!" [laughs as her siblings groan at her joke.]

Lynn Sr.: [laughing] "Good one!"

[Lynn throws her Football at Luan for that one.]

Luan: [still laughing] "Ow!"

"Hahaha! Good one!" laughed Benny.

"What will she be blown away by? Lynn's farts?" joked Sergio.

"I could make that happen." Lynn smirked.

"Not happening." Luan said firmly.

Lisa: [disbelieving] "Poppycock. Could these predictions be anymore non-specific?"

"Still too young to understand the power of the cards." sighed Rosa.

"My age doesn't have anything to do with this." retorted Lisa. "I'm a girl of science and I don't believe in superstitions like cards that tell the future."

Rosa shook her head. "So young." she said.

"Sigh. I agree." said Lucy.

Lisa looks angry at them

Lincoln couldn't help but suddenly felt a spark of annoyance at Lisa "Don't believe in superstitions? What about Bad luck?' he thought. But he shook his head trying to get rid of those thoughts

[The next card shows a wizard with a crystal ball.]

Lucy: "Lisa, you will make an amazing scientific discovery before entering the park today. Is that specific enough for you?"

Lisa: "Specific, yes. Plausible, no. As a woman of science, I cannot take any of this seriously."

"Come on Lise, you should live a little." said Luna.

"I'll live a little when the cows come home." Lisa drawled.

"Wait, we own cows that are away? Why didn't anyone tell me?!" demanded Leni.

Everyone facepalmed.

Lucy: "Well, the cards don't lie. [tells the rest of the sisters' fortunes before finally telling Lincoln's.] Last but not least: Lincoln." [draws the card and gasps at what she sees.]

Lincoln: [concerned] "What? What does it say?"

Lucy: [changing the subject] "So, uh, who wants to play football?" [grins casually]

Lincoln: [desperate] "Lucy, come on! Tell me!"

Lucy: "Fine. Your day at the park will end in..." [reveals the card to show the grim reaper.] "...tragedy."

[A suspenseful music sting plays for the card as Lynn Sr. is looking through the radio.]

Lynn Sr.: "Ooh, a radio station of music stings! Neato-burrito!"

[The music sting plays again as Lincoln worries about his fortune.]

"Uh oh…" several people said in unison.

"That doesn't sound good." gulped Rusty.

"My mijo, don't worry, I think I have some talismans to get rid of bad vibes." Rosa said to him comfortingly.

"Thanks Mrs. Casagrande but that's not necessary… this is the past and I'm fine." said Lincoln. He felt really stupid after seeing this, and it was hard for anyone with eyes to not notice.

Lucy sighed, and answered for everyone seeing that her brother felt too stupid and embarrassed to do so, "Here's why he's looking like that, for anyone who wants to know... Madame Lucy might have predicted that Lincoln's day would conclude in tragedy."

Lincoln continued, feeling really embarrassed, "...And she was right. Not because of some Earth-shattering disaster, not because I did something wrong or hurtful to anyone, but because I was my own worst enemy that day. I even tried to interfere in Lisa's fortune."

Lisa jumped in, before anyone could glare, "Before you get mad at Lincoln for that, please be aware that I believe fortune is mere superstition. I did not really care if my own fortune came true or not. Luck is nothing but a fairy tale, and the word you are looking for is probability, not luck, that something will happen."

Lucy protested, glaring at Lisa "Oh, really? Then, why was Lincoln so miserable when we came home that day?"

Lisa replied, "Simple: Lincoln basically caused his own set of shenanigans and dismay through his own actions due to paranoia. Not by luck or fortune or whatever you would name it."

Lucy and Lisa looked like they were about to argue over fortune and luck being real things or fairy tales, and splitting into groups over said argument as a result.

That is, until Lori stepped in as the older sibling. "O-kay, we can have this argument about luck being fact or fiction later, girls! We'll see who's right as the show goes on...!" she said with awkward laughter, not wanting this to break out into a fight.

Everyone nodded and faced the screen again.

[The family stops at Ed's Gas & Snack.]

Lynn Sr.: "Okay, kids, ten minutes for bathroom and snacks. If you miss the cut-off, I can't promise I'll still be here."

"Well that's reassuring." deadpanned Stella.

Rita and Albert gave Lynn Sr. unimpressed looks, making him sheepishly duck out of sight.

[Lincoln's sisters get out of the car, but he closes the door, much to Lisa's disbelief.]

Lisa: "Aren't you coming?"

Lincoln: "Nope. I'm staying right here."

Lisa: "Oh, you're not worried about Lucy's silly predictions, are you?"

"With a spooky sister like Lucy, I would be." said Clyde. "No offence Lucy."

"None taken." Lucy replied.

[Lori accidentally steps on an oil slick, slips out of control while screaming and crashes into the trash.]

"Were you ok babe!?" Bobby asked in concern.

"I was ok. Don't worry Boo-boo bear." Lori soothed.

Lori: "That was literally embarrassing."

Lucy: "It was also literally your fortune. "You will go on on a long trip"."

[Lincoln gasps at this fact.]

Many people gasped.

"It did come true!" gasped Liam.

"Uggg, here we go. I don't know why we have to remember this day." Lisa groaned.

"Now ready to believe?" Rosa asked.

"Hardly." Lisa replied. "Outside this being a coincidence, the non-specific wording of the 'prediction' makes it open to interpretation which means anything from slipping to walking certain distance would count as 'a long trip.'"

"Still, can't argue with results, Lisa." said Stella.

Lori: [sighs in disappointment] "So, I'm not going to Italy?"

"You know, I can always take you and Bobby to Peru for a vacation." said Arturo.

"I'd like that Mr. Santiago." smiled Lori.

Lisa: "Relax, Lincoln. It's just a coincidence."

[Lincoln gets out and hears Luan giggling.]

Luan: "Let me know if you get tired, Dad."

Lynn Sr. "Good one, honey. That's why you're my heir." [hits Luan with a jet of air that sends her flying into a bunch of tires.] "Oh, sorry, sweetie. Your dad's just an air-head."

[They laugh as the other kids look on apathetically.]

Lucy: [appearing next to them and startling them.] "Fortune number two: "You will soon be blown away"."

[All except Lisa gasp in astonishment.]

Many people gasped again.

"Twice in a row?! That's unbelievable!" exclaimed Girl Jordan.

"Well it's right in front of you." Chaz pointed out.

[The rest of the girls except Lisa head into the mini-mart while Lincoln shakes in panic.]

Lisa: "More like coincidence number two."

Lucy: "We will see."

"Maybe so, but two coincidences in a row is too lucky Lisa." Sid pointed out.

"When will you homospaiens learn?" Lisa groaned.

[As the rest head in, a charming man named Mr. Universe opens the door for Lola.]

Lola: [curtsies for him] "Oh, thank you, Mr. Universe." [realizes a few seconds later] "AGH! THE UNIVERSE JUST OPENED DOORS FOR ME!"

[The others gasp again]

"Three in a row!" gasped Sam.

"Huh, so the universe hasn't gone mad." mused Carl.

"Who has a last name that's 'Universe'?" asked Margo.

"That guy!" said CJ, pointing to Mr. Universe.

Lucy: "And...that's number three."

Lincoln: [pleading] "Lisa!"

Lisa: "Eh. Pure happenstance."

"I wouldn't say so." said Rosa. "Believe me, as a professional fan of a professional astrologer, it's too good to be a coincidence, let alone three times in a row mija."

"I'd hate to say it, but she does have a point." said Carlota.

Lisa rolled her eyes.

[Inside the store, there's a long line for the ladies' room.]

Lynn: [rushing to the door] "Gotta go! Gotta go!"

Twins: "Back of the line, sister!" [point to the back]

Lynn: [runs to the back] "I CAN'T WAIT THIS LONG!" [starts doing jumping jacks] "Don't gotta go. Don't gotta go."

"And that's why we don't drink so much at once." said Lori.

"Noted." Lynn said.

Leni: [holding a pair of pink boots with bows.] "OMG! These boots are totes adorbs!"

"They are are." said Mandee.

"Totally!" agreed Jackie.

Lana: [comes out of restroom] "Ha! I found a dollar in the toilet!"

"Now that is lucky!" said Liam while everyone else cringed.

Lucy: "Just like I predicted." [reveals the next card which is an hourglass.] "Lynn, your patience will be tested." [reveals the next card which shows arrows piercing a heart.] "Leni, you will fall in love." [reveals the next card showing a bunch of coins.] "Lana, you will become filthy rich."

[The three gasp in shock]

Lucy: "What can I say? The cards don't lie."

"Another three in a row!" exclaimed Morpheus.

"That makes it six in a row in the same location." added Mollie.

"OK, now I'm starting to believe Lucy." said Ronnie Anne.

"Me too mija." said Hector.

"Are you sure nothing bad happened to Lincoln?" asked Harold.

"Of course not! Nothing bad happened to him the whole trip." said Lynn Sr.

"But then why did the card say that Lincoln's day would end in tragedy?" Howard asked nervously.

"You'll see Mr. McBride." Lincoln replied.

[Lincoln whimpers in fear and runs up to the cashier.]

Lincoln: "Excuse me. Where are your first aid kits?"

Lisa: "Oh, Lincoln, please." [points to Lynn] "That is a coincidence." [points to Leni] "That's hyperbole." [points to Lana] "And that's gross exaggeration." [puts on rubber glove and takes dollar from Lana.] "Filthy, yes. Rich, no."

Lana: [Takes back dollar] "Ugh. It's about quality, not quantity!"

"She's gotcha there Lisa." said Winston.

"Yet what I said earlier still applies." said Lisa.

"What's next, you don't believe in ghosts?" Skippy asked.

Lincoln, Lori, Lucy, Clyde, the Casagrandes, and the Mortician's Club traded glances, knowing that if Lisa ever said that ghosts don't exist and that she doesn't believe, she;ll eat those words the moment she and everyone else sees Groundskeeper Jim, Shanks Bogey, and Alfredo the Chicken Ghost.

Luna: "Oh yeah! The vending machine gave me an extra bag of chips! The best things in life are free, bros!" [pops open a bag and wolfs down some chips.]

Lucy: [shows a card with two people holding chalices.] "You will be rewarded double."

"Ok now I'm starting to get scared for Lincoln." said Carol, worried.

"Me too." said Bobby, just as worried.

"Guys relax, nothing bad happened to Lincoln." said Lori.

"Maybe it's another reason?" suggested CJ.

"Could be." said

[Lincoln panics more and is now in the car wearing a biking helmet, a chest plate, an athletic cup, and a gas mask which he is breathing heavily into.]

Lisa: "Oh, Lincoln, please. You're embarrassing yourself."

Lincoln: [muffled] "I'm just being sensible."

[Lisa takes the mask off him.]

Lincoln: "I'm just being sensible. Lucy said my day would end in tragedy, and all her other predictions have come true."

"While Lincoln might be being overdramatic, he doesn have a point." said Becky.

"Yeah, seven fortunes coming true in a row is too much for a coincidence." nodded Clyde.

"Out of curiosity, did Lily get one?" asked Boris.

"No. She was asleep at the time." said Lucy.

Lily nodded.

Lisa: "Not mine. I haven't made any scientific discoveries yet."

Lincoln: [realizing] "Wait a minute. That's true!"

Lynn Sr.: "Alright, kiddos, welcome to Grand Venture State Park!"

Lincoln: [herding his sisters] "Let's go, people! Move it! Move it!" [pushes them]

Lola: "Lincoln, why are you pushing us?"

Lori: "Yeah. What's the rush? We are literally the only people here."

Lincoln: "If we can get in the park before Lisa makes any discoveries, that means Lucy's predictions are bogus and I'm home free."

"He's gonna do something stupid, isn't he?" Ronnie Anne deadpanned.

"Gee, thanks for the reassurance." Lincoln said sarcastically.

Lincoln: [pushes them in] "Yes! We made it!" [takes off his protective gear and starts dancing.] "Science: 1, medieval hocus pocus: 0. Right, Lis?" [notices she's not with them] "Lis?" [sees her coming] "Lisa, hurry up! Get in here!"

Lisa: "Sorry. I had to finish that chapter."

[Just then, a giant egg drops right between them and hatches.]

Lisa: [gasps] "Sweet mother of scientific discoveries! It's an owl with deer antlers!"

[Lincoln screams in horror and goes into a daze.]

"Whoa! That's so cool!" exclaimed Rusty as everyone gasped.

"Do you think it comes from an alien-mutated planet?!" asked Zach.

"Eight predictions came true!" exclaimed CJ.

"But nothing happened to Lincoln!" said Rita.

"Well something did," Lincoln admitted, making everyone worried. "But not what you would all think."

"Everything will make more sense in the end." said Lisa.

Lisa: "Lucy, I concede that your psychic predictions are uncannily accurate. And now, I'm off to show this fascinating creature to the park ranger. See you later, Lincoln! Well, maybe not."

[The suspenseful sting plays again as Lincoln awaits his fate.]

Lynn Sr.: "Yes! I can get the music sting station on my phone!"

"Way to terrify your son Loud!" snarked Mr. Grouse.

"So you did believe?" David asked Lisa.

"As I said David, all will be revealed at the end." Lisa replied.

"By the way, way to make your brother even more nervous than ever." Stella chided.

"My apologies." Lisa said to her brother, who smiled.

[The family heads toward the caves.]

Lynn Sr.: "All right, gang. First stop is the Grand Stalactite Caverns."

Lucy: "Ooh. If it's dark, I'm in."

Lincoln: "Ooh. If it's dark, I'm out."

Rita: "Lincoln, you've been looking forward to this trip for months. Don't you wanna check out the caverns?"

Lincoln: "And get impaled by a stalactite?"

Rita: "Are you really gonna let a silly prediction ruin your fun?"

Lincoln: "Yes, I am. I'm gonna stay right here, where it's nice and safe."

"And you two aren't reassuring him that nothing bad was gonna happen because?" Albert asked, folding his arms.

"Uh… we were excited about the trip?" Lynn Sr. replied nervously.

"Aye…" sighed Rosa.

[Sometime later, some screeching is heard.]

Lincoln: [screams] "KILLER BATS!"

[Some butterflies fly out. One of them lands on Lincoln's nose.]

Lincoln: [calmly] "Oh. They're just butterflies." [panicking] "Who are probably fleeing from killer bats!" [runs off screaming]

Everyone couldn't help but laugh while Lincoln blushed.

"Then again, they might've been." said Fransisco.

[Lisa is showing this new species of owl to the park ranger.]

Lisa: "I call it the "Dowl"."

Park Ranger: "Remarkable. I'll arrange a press conference immediately. Lucky for us, I always carry bunting." [holds up the bunting]

"Why is that?" asked Chunk.

"You'll see." Lisa replied.

[The family is swimming at the lake.]

Lynn Sr.: "Ah, Grand Sparkling Lake."

Lynn: "CANNONBALL!" [cannonballs into the lake with a huge splash.]

Lynn Sr.: "Watch it, Lynn! You'll ruin the Grand Venture guide!"

"And why didn't you put Lily's diaper back on?" Rita asked.

"Uh… I was excited about what was on the guide?" Lynn Sr. replied.

Lana: "Come on in, Lincoln! We got the whole lake to ourselves!"

Lincoln: [on the dock] "Yeah, right. So I can get eaten by a piranha? Or zapped by an eel? Or attacked by a swamp creature?"

Lola: "Don't be a dope. There's no such thing."

Lily shifted her eyes, remembering Plessie.

"Worst case scenario, he would've drowned." said Roger, only to get elbowed by Carol.

[Lynn Sr. emerges from the lake covered in algae.]

Everyone yelped in alarm.

Lincoln: [screaming] "IT'S HIM!" [swings a branch at him] "Back, you hideous beast!"

Lynn Sr.: [removing the algae] "Hey, hey, hey! I didn't pick out these shorts! Your mother did! Huh."

"I thought they'd look good on you." said Rita.

"I got used to them." said Lynn Sr.

[Now they're visiting a gorge.]

Lynn Sr.: "Presenting Grand Vista Gorge. The most beautiful view north of the Rio Grande."

Luan: "Beautiful? Don't you mean GORGE-ous?" [laughs]

Several laughs and groans went around.

Rita: "Have any of you seen your brother?"

[Lynn runs to the side of the gorge and notices Lincoln inching his way up the trail.]

Lincoln: [frantic] "Oh. Are those fire ants? Uh, that could be quicksand. Yikes! I'm pretty sure that's poison ivy."

Lynn: "LINCOLN! GET YOUR BUTT UP HERE!"

[Her voice echoes]

Lincoln: [softly] "Shh! You wanna cause an avalanche?"

Lynn: "WHAT?!"

[A rumbling sound is heard, but it's just a small leaf swaying to the ground.]

"Not a good idea to yell in the mountains like that." said Arturo.

"Indeed. That can really cause an avalanche" nodded Carlos.

"I'll keep that in mind." said Lynn.

Lynn Sr.: "Next stop, Grand Current River."

[The family is fishing. While everyone has their lines in the river, Leni has hers in the bush.]

Luna: [to Lana] "Hey, little dudette, hook me up with another worm."

Lana: [eating the worms] "Sorry. All out."

"Eww!" several people cringed.

"That cannot be good for your digestive system." Maria cringed.

Rita: "Lincoln, you should join us."

Lincoln: [hiding under the canoe] "Yeah, right! And get swept down the river? Or contract a deadly parasite? Or slip on a rock, bang my head, get amnesia, and wind up in Tijuana? I don't think so!" [goes back to hiding]

"I don't know what's more dramatic, you here or Abuela when Ernesto Estrella said that Great Lakes City was bad luck." Ronnie Anne muttered.

"That's because Ernesto is a professional astrologer." Rosa countered. "And I wanted to keep mi familia safe."

'Yeah, from stuff Sergio altered.' Ronnie Anne, Bobby, Carlota, CJ, and Carl taught in unison.

[The family is having a picnic.]

Lana: [patting her belly] "Ugh. I wish I hadn't filled up on worms."

"And that's why we don't overeat before meals." said Howard.

"Especially on stuff you shouldn't be eating unless you're trying to survive." added Harold.

Lynn Sr.: "Lincoln, are you sure you won't join us?"

Lincoln: [in the picnic basket] "Yeah, right! And attract bears with the smell of the burgers? I don't think so!" [goes back to hiding]

Lori: "I think bears also like the potato salad in that basket."

[Lori's words causes Lincoln to come out of the basket yelping and run to a field.]

"Lori!" Albert, Bobby, Carol, Becky, Chaz, Dana, Joey, and Roiger scolded.

"Sorry Linc." Lori apologized.

"I'm over it." Lincoln said.

Lincoln: "I'll just stand in this field." [frantic] "Wait. Then I could get struck by lightning. Maybe I'll be safe in that log." [hides in said log] "But there could be rabid beavers!" [gets out of the log] "Back to the picnic basket!" [about to get back in] "No! Wait! The bears!" [trips]

"Just like Abuela." groaned Carlota.

"I get that Lincoln's being overdramatic, but how come you girls weren't concerned for his safety?" asked Stella.

The Loud sisters faced Stella.

"Whaddya mean Stells?" asked Luna.

"Well as overly paranoid as Lincoln's being, all of the other fortunes came true for you guys." said Stella. "And if the words 'great tragedy' don't ring any warning bells in your heads, you should at least be concerned for Lincoln instead of just letting him make a fool out of himself."

The Loud sisters traded surprise glances.

"That… never crossed our minds." said Leni. "We're sorry Linky.

"It's fine." said Lincoln. "And like Stella said, I was being way too paranoid."

Lynn Sr.: "Ah, what a day. Grand Venture State Park, you always know how to show us a grand time."

Lincoln: [heading for the exit] "This is great. I may actually get out of here alive."

Lynn Sr.: "Lincoln, where are you going? We've got Lisa's press conference."

Lincoln: "You guys go without me. The flash from the cameras could blind me."

"He does have a pint there." said Harold.

"That's why we always turn the flashes off on all cameras in our house." added Harold.

[His dad grabs his arm and takes him to the conference, where Lisa is about to announce her latest discovery.]

Lisa: [at podium] "Members of the press, I have made a discovery that will forever alter our understanding of the animal kingdom. I give you..." [reveals Dowl] "...the Dowl! Or Loudicus Lisa, if you prefer."

[The rest of her family and the press are amazed while Lincoln flinches and screams at the flash of the cameras.]

"Prediction number 8…" Carl said dramatically.

Lisa: "As you can see, the antlers of the Dowl are..."

[Suddenly, the little bird shakes off the antlers and Lisa makes another discovery, one not so scientific.]

Lisa: "...Made in China?"

"Wait, what?!" several people exclaimed.

"Told you." said Lisa.

[The park ranger does a spit take.]

Park Ranger: "Excuse me. I just remembered I, uh...left the iron on in the park ranger station. Forest fires are no joke." [proceeds to leave]

Lisa: [stopping him] "Hold it right there, bub! What gives?"

Park Ranger: [sighs] "Okay. I concocted the whole thing. I bought the antlers at a yard sale and glued them on the owl."

Lisa: [livid] "You think science is some sort of a joke?"

Park Ranger: "No. It's just that ever since the geyser stopped erupting, no one comes to the park anymore. I thought a little publicity would bring people back."

"Aww man, it was too good to be true!" sulked Zach.

"At least he wasn't as bad as Flip." said Lana.

[Lisa goes back to the podium.]

Lisa: "My apologies to you all. Obviously, the Dowl is a fake."

Lincoln: "A fake?" [gasps] "So Lucy's prediction for you wasn't true!"

"I cant believe I actually fell for a prediction." groaned Lisa. "Everyone know those aren't real."

"Of course they ARE real." said Rosa. "You did a great discovery at the end."

"Only it wasn't the type you expected." said Lucy.

Lisa facepalmed. "I can't believe you really are fighting this, there is no proof my goth sibling can predict the future." she said.

"But what about the other predictions? Your sisters did get theirs come true." Rosa pointed out.

"Again, coincidences and the fact those so-called predictions were open to interpretation, and a big one on that. What is more Lincoln is still here so things didn't end up in tragedy." Lisa retorted.

"Umm actually it was but then it wasn't." Lincoln replied.

Lisa turned to see him in confusion.

"You'll see." he said.

Lisa: "That is a logical conclusion."

Lincoln: "Which means mine wasn't true either!"

Lisa: "Second logical conclusion."

Lincoln: "I ruined my whole day for no reason."

Lisa: "Thrice, a logical conclusion."

"No need to keep rubbing salt in the wound." said Sid.

Lisa breaks all of her stoic look and goes, evil smile and all, "As they say, Lucille Loud... checkmate. I have won this argument, fair and square."

Lucy snapped back, desperate to defend her persona's fortune, "Even if you are right, Madame Lucy's predictions are not based on fairy tales!"

Lisa scoffed, "Are you really trying to defend that you 100% saw this coming? You know as well as I do that humans are not typically clairvoyant creatures. Besides, this proves my hypothesis that luck is a mere fairy tale and Lincoln missing out was a result of his own actions. My reasoning is based on hypothesis, evidence, and sound logic, not luck."

At this point, it devolved into a mere shouting match about who was right between the genius and the goth, and going back and forth on whether or not luck was real. Some people were also taking sides on that argument and it looked like things were going to snowball further... that is, until Lincoln whistled loudly to get their attention.

Lincoln said with a flat expression, "I can't believe you two are seriously arguing about luck being fake or not. Here, let me give you something that'll make you both happy since you can't seem to come to an agreement like normal people: Lisa was right on the basis of logic and evidence. Lucy was also right too, even without any hard proof to back up her fortune... apart from what we've just seen. Lisa, you know how much this stuff means to Lucy, so why are you fighting with her about it?"

Both Lucy and Lisa now looked embarrassed with themselves.

Lisa said in apology, "Forgive me, older sibling..."

Lucy muttered an apology, but audible enough for Lisa to hear it.

Lincoln then said, "Now... can we PLEASE finish this episode, today?

"Yes." the two said in unison.

"Way to be the older brother Lincoln." praised Clyde.

Lincoln smiled.

[The family's getting ready to go home.]

Lynn Sr.: "Okay, kids, you have five minutes to get in the car. And if you miss the cut-off, no guarantees."

All the adults gave Lynn Sr. unimpressed looks, making him sweat.

Lincoln: [to the viewers, disappointed] "Well, I guess there's a lesson here. You can't live your life in fear, or you'll miss out on it. And that would be a tragedy."

"Ok at this point it seems Lucy was right. My day did end up in a tragedy as I didnt have fun and only passed the day worrying and stressing."

Albert stared at Rita and Lynn Sr., again making them look guilty.

"However…" said Lincoln, pointing to the screen.

[Before he heads to the car, the ground starts shaking and there's a rumbling sound. Lincoln rushes over and sees something amazing.]

Lincoln: "It's the geyser! Whoa!"

[Lincoln looks on to see the geyser's majestic eruption in awe.]

Everyone was in awe.

"Whoa!" they gasped as some took pictures.

"It's so beautiful!" said Leni.

"I guess some inactive stuff can be active again." said Lisa.

[All of a sudden, the car's horn honks and the rest is leaving without him.]

Lincoln: "He really is leaving me behind. Sheesh. I always thought that was an empty threat." [chases after them] "GUYS! WAIT!"

Lynn Sr. ducked out of sight from all eyes going on him.

[The car stops and Lincoln gets in.]

Lincoln: [jubilant] "Guys! Guys! You won't believe what happened! I just saw the geyser go off!"

[His sisters are getting some sleep after a fun day.]

"Tough luck guys." said Sameer.

"Irony is, they're the ones tired and yet Lincoln was the one rushing around to stay safe." said Laird.

Leni: [groggily] "Ugh. Lincoln, you told me Pop-Pop wasn't gonna be here."

"If he was, you would've seen him." said Nikki.

Lincoln: "Leni, it's not...never mind. This turned out to be the best day ever." [goes to sleep for the ride home.]

Lincoln turned to everyone. "As you can see, my day did a full 180 in that moment… seeing that made everything worthy. Because I was sad I was the last to the car giving me the chance to see that spectacle. So my tragic day became a good one." he said. He turned to Lucy. "And sorry to say, while it came true for all our other sisters, that invalidates your prophecy."

Lisa put her hands to the air. "Thank you! Finally some logic to this whole magic nonsense!"

Everyone gave her unimpressed looks as if she had forgotten her apology to Lucy. Lisa saw this and cleared her throat.

"My apologies, I mean… I guess I supposed some predictions can come true and others can't." said Lisa.

"Perhaps." said Lucy. "Or perhaps Lincoln's immune to it."

Lisa sighed, but decided not to argue.

Lisa: "Well, Lucy, I guess you'll be throwing out those silly cards now that you've been completely discredited."

Lucy: "WRONG. I can prove fortune telling is real with one last prediction." [draws one more card] "The end is near."

Lisa: "Oh, please. Give me a-"

[Cuts Lisa's line off to show an end card in the style of Lucy's fortune telling cards with a Dowl on it]

THE END

Lucy: "Told ya. The cards don't lie."

Everyone stared.

"That… was freaky…" said Casey.

"I suppose you were right that time." said Lisa.

"Why don't you just agree that some predictions can come true and others just don't like you said mija." suggested Rosa. "That way you won't be at each other's throats for so long."

Lucy and Lisa looked at each other.

"Deal." theys aid, shaking hands.

Lucy turned to Lincoln. "Brother, I apologize if my prediction scared you too much to even enjoy the trip." she said.

"And again, we're sorry for not comforting you when you were freaking out." added Luan.

"And we're sorry for not putting your fears about it to rest ourselves son." said Lynn Sr in guilt.

Lincoln smiled. "Guys, it's okay." he said. "Like I said, I was being way too paranoid that I let myself believe I was gonna die."

"Though it was justified in a Fanfic."

Everyone turned and saw Joe walk up.

"Whaddya mean?" asked Lori.

"An author named realYoshiPlayer did a rewrite of the episode on DeviantArt." said Joe. "There were some differences."

"Like what?" asked Lola.

"For starters, Leni and Luna were the only ones who were worried about Lincoln after Lucy told him his prediction." said Lincoln.

"Only us?" asked Leni.

"I mean, sure we'd be worried about Lincoln, but it would seem weird that only the two of us would be worried." said Luna.

"What about the rest of us?" asked Lana.

"Aside from Lucy, Lisa, and Lily, the rest of you wouldn't stop teasing Lincoln about it." said Joe.

The sisters were shocked.

"What?!" exclaimed Lana.

"Why would we do such a thing?!" asked Luan.

"Because it amused you and you thought it was funny." said Joe.

"OK no." said Lori. "If a prediction that would put Lincoln in danger actually happened, we wouldn't laugh about it."

"You all realized that later." said Joe. "Because and additional scene was added where Lucy's prediction almost came true."

Everyone was worried.

"What happened?" asked Lucy.

"You guys were crossing a bridge." said Joe. "But Lincoln was still being paranoid so he was going very slowly, much to your annoyance. But all of your shouting was causing so much commotion that it suddenly made the bridge start to break."

Everyone gasped.

"Oh my god!" cried Leni.

"Lincoln didn't die did he?!" Lola asked in worry.

"He didn't." said Joe. "Though Lucy was surprised that it was starting to come true as no one had ever gotten the Grim Reaper card."

"Sigh." said Lucy. "I'm afraid that is true. I was secretly hoping that Linoln's prediction wouldn't come true."

"Luckily, Luna and Lucy are able to pull Lincoln to safety." said Joe. "The sisters all apologize and then you go to Lisa's 'conference.' After that, all of you get to see the geyser."

"Well at least we all go to see it together." said Lola.

"And Lincoln is safe." added Lori.

"Just remember Lincoln, we would never tease you over something like that." said Lynn.

"Yeah, a deadly situation is no joke." nodded Luan.

"Thanks guys." smield Lincoln.

"Anyways, it's time for another food break." said Joe, snapping his fingers as more food appeared.

Everyone beamed as they went to the table and Joe left through the portal.
