Leni could hardly wait to see her sweet boyfriend come over to spend time with his adorable and kind girlfriend. Deep down, even though he had a talk with Lincoln and Lori about how Chaz would react about the kiss, she had to keep her composure in herself to tell him why she had to do this to help him understand.

Chaz will be here any minute now, and Leni needed to be ready to see him once more.

Sure, they see each other countless times over the days they have dated, but it was a special kind of relationship. Not only that, but the crime detector can go off without warning.

If any emergency sounds were heard from the device, Leni would scream and lose it, because it would keep her from seeing Chaz for a moment. So far, the crime detector hasn't detected any crime and villainy in Royal Woods, and it was good since peace is better than crime.

A clap of thunder was heard and it made Leni jump. She wasn't afraid of thunder and lightning like a dog would normally be like, but she still didn't like it so much.

The doorbell rang and Leni gaspsd with joy, and the firl promptly answered it in a haply gesture. "High Chaz!"

Indeed, it was the man of the hour himself. Leni made a gasp when she saw her own boyfriend soaking wet.

"Hey baby." Chaz said with his gun gesture at her.

"Chazy-poo, you're wet! what happened?"

"Nothing, Len." Chaz replied. "Just forgot to bring my umbrella. No biggie. besides, it's just rain and not acid rain."

The lovebirds had a good laugh with one another, but Leni, being a ditzy girl that she was, couldn't help but ask her lover: "What's... acid again? I've heard Lisa say that word many times, but I don't know what it means."

"Let's just say it's something you should always, always stay away from, no matter what. Acid rain can burn your skin."

Leni sounded a little scared, and she certainly did not want to burn her skin in any way at all (Mostly because burns, if bad enough, can lead to scars on skin that can last for the rest of a human being's life). "No thanks, I chose my skin to be flawless and beautiful." Leni said with disdain. "Plus, it hurts getting burned."

"Heh. Tell me about it. I once got in a hot grease accident while working at my job." Chaz said before coming in the house, and Leni closing the door. "Leni, you'd not believe the scariest moment of my life was."

"Do tell, schnukums." Leni said, swooning over him.

"OK, OK. I'll tell ya, but first, I need a drink, my little rose petal."

The blonde girl blushed at his comment and chuckled. "Oh Chaz, you are one of a kind. I got Crazy Cola, Peppy Cola, kale juice, veggie smoothies."

"Ooh! I love veggie smoothies." Chaz said. "Besides, I gotta lay off them carbs and not eat so much junk food as i used to."

"You are so not fat, Chaz. Don't feel so hard on yourself."

"I know. I should show you a picture of what I looked like before I took a low-sugar diet." he got himself a kale smoothie that was in the fridge for at least twelve hours, but it was still good and cold. Leni was originally going to finish it, but her sweet boyfriend is here, so she is more than willing to let Chaz have it for his belly to be happy.

Sitting down on the sofa in the living room, Chaz took a huge sip of it, and he let out a small, but low burp. "Man, that hits the spot." he remarked out loud. "I also saw what happened on the news."

Leni's poor heart sank and she looked very embarrassed with a shade of red appearing on her face. "You saw?" she exclaimed while looking sheepish and like a complete fool. "Chaz, I can explain!" she shrieked. "It wasn't what you thought it was!" Leni then began to hyperventilate like a drama queen who lost her favorite ring. "Screaming Eagle was not going to stop and I only kissed him to make him sleep. I absolutely do not love that creep! You know I hate fresh people!"

"Leni, Leni, Leni!" Chaz gently grabbed her arms. "Come on. I know how much you love me. There was probably no other way, except for killing him, but that's different. I totally know that your lips and I are meant to be."

"So... you're not mad?"

Chaz gave her a sad smile, and replied: "Nope. Not one bit, Leni. There is nothing you can do to make me mad. Never." he pulled her close into a hug, and Leni was obviously loving being embraced by a sweet boyfriend like his is, hence hugging him back in response to the nice and kind gesture.

"Good. I am so relieved! I love you, Chaz."

"I love you too, Leni." Chaz remarked. "But I did find out about the Screaming Eagle that got arrested." he sat back down on the sofa.

"Ooh! Good. Who is that meanie?"

"He was... an old friend of mine. His name's Kyle and it was when me and him were kids, like around Lucy or Lincoln's age." Her boyfriend cleared his throat before explaining: "Before this, he was a good guy, and he cared about everyone around him. But, what I didn't know was that; his folks weren't as other parents would be when it comes to taking care of a child. Kyle never got any love from his parents whatsoever. They never said they loved him, or cared about him. I mean, they never showed him any physical love. Heck, they would always let him go to summer school or summer camp when school is done for the whole season."

"Why weren't his parents always there for him?" Leni asked, sounding slightly shocked at this little backstory.

"They're one of those parents who would mostly put themselves before other people, and would always go out while Kyle would be watched by a babysitter. Overtime, the guy turned into a more... troublemaking kid and when I hung out with him, he would always do something like cut school or steal things."

"I wish there was a way for me to help him."

"Me too, Leni." Chaz sighed. "But, some people just can't be negotiated with. That's what my dad always said."
