Chapter 46, enjoy! Get ready for some fluff!

It was a lazy afternoon in the Taylor household. It was second day of spring break and Julie's "maternity leave" from school. The adults had all gone to do various activities leaving the two teenagers alone. Julie was putting in a movie while Tim finished his shower.

"I'm heading off to the shop," Tim announced as he grabbed his keys from the hook by the front door.

"Do you have to?" Julie asked, desperately craving an afternoon with her boyfriend.

"I mean-"

"Please stay," Julie begged. "Billy handled the shop yesterday while you went to my appointment, surely he can handle it today," Julie added, batting her eyelashes. "Please," she repeated.

"I can't say no to your puppy dog eyes," Tim replied, causing a joyful smile of sucess to form on Julie's face.

"Just wait until Raelynn uses her puppy dog eyes, which she will learn from me, on you," Julie teasingly warned.

"Yeah I won't be able to resist them," Tim laughed back.

"I like the name we picked," Julie replied with a bright smile.

"I like it too," Tim agreed sitting down on the couch and wrapping his arm around Julie. "What movie are we watching?" He asked.

"The Blind Side," Julie answered.

"No, really what movie are we watching?" Tim asked again, not believing Julie Taylor would willingly choose a sports movie out of all the movies she owned.

"The Blind Side," She repeated.

"Really? Julie Taylor picking to watch a sports movie?" Tim teased.

"It was my backup plan to get you to stay," Julie answered with a giggle. Tim laughed in response, taking a seat next to Julie on the couch.

"Well thanks to your puppy dog eyes, you didn't have to bribe me with a football movie. You want me to change it?"

"No, leave it. I miss watching you play football, and this movie is my favorite football movie," Julie responded. "I bet if we dug around in the box of tapes we could find some game film," She added.

"I mean since your offering, we could watch that next," Tim replied with a laugh.

"You know what sounds good? Popcorn," Julie stated.

"That does sound pretty good," Tim agreed.

"Maybe you should get up and make me some," She hinted as she jutted her elbow into Tim's ribs.

"Ow!" He exclaimed, clearly exaggerating the pain Julie caused him.

"You big baby," She jokingly mocked. "One, I didn't hit you that hard, two that's what it feels like when your daughter kicks me."

"Ok, I'll get you some popcorn," Tim caved as he got up and made his way into the kitchen to make them some popcorn. "You know, I might just tell Billy that I'm going to spend the rest of the week with you, he can handle the shop," Tim stated as the popcorn kernels began to make their distinctive "pop" in the microwave. "It is spring break after all," Tim added as he watched the bag of popcorn cook in the microwave.

"That sounds like a good plan to me," Julie smiled from her spot on the couch.

"That's what I'll tell him them," Tim smiled back as he carried the bowl of freshly popped popcorn into the living room. He sat down next to Julie who grabbed a pillow and placed it on his lap where she laid her head. As Julie pressed play on the tv remote, Tim began gently rubbing her shoulder.

"Mmm that feels good," She complimented as a small yawn escaped her, even though it was the middle of the day.

Less than halfway through the movie, Tim looked down to see Julie fast asleep. She looked peaceful, so he tried not to move so he didn't wake her. Several minutes went by before she was awoken by a loud scene in the movie. She rubbed her eyes as she moved to an upright position before laying her head on Tim's shoulder.

"Sorry I should have turned it down," Tim apologized.

"It's ok," She replied quietly, hints of tiredness still in her voice. "Thank you for staying with me today."

"You're welcome," Tim replied as he placed a kiss in her hair. "I'm glad I stayed and spent the afternoon with my girls," He added.

"Last night I got to thinking about a middle name for Raelynn," Julie stated.

"What'd you come up with?" Tim asked, her statement grabbing his attention.

"What if we named her Raelynn Taylor Riggins?" Julie asked. "That way she could have a part of my parents. Not like a hyphenated last name or anything, Taylor would be her middle name."

"Julie if you want her to take your last name, just tell me," Tim told her.

"No, I want her to take your last name, and I always have. She's your daughter. But this way she could honor my parents in a way," Julie replied. "Some people do their Mom's name or Grandma's name as their kid's middle name, but this way she could honor both my parents.

"Raelynn Taylor Riggins," Tim repeated with a smile. "I like it if you like it," He said as he turned to look Julie in her beautiful blue eyes. "And your parents deserve to be honored by our daughter. They have done so much for me during all of this, I am so great full for your parents. They've supported both of us and they gave me a home when mine wasn't safe."

"They love you like their own son Tim," Julie told him. "This is going to mean a lot to them."

Just little short and sweet chapter. Hope ya'll enjoyed! I am very excited, but just a little sad, to announce that the next chapter I post will be the final chapter. I already have it for the most part written and I think you will all love it!

I have a busy/stressful couple of days ahead of me, so it probably won't get posted until later next week. I have done some editing of the first couple chapters because I was still a timid writer, so if you need a refresher before I post the last chapter I would encourage you to go reread those. Until next time...
