Prelude: A castle of stone and metal floating in the sky that consist of one hundred floors. Within this massive structure, there are countless cities, villages, towns, forests, plains, lakes, and whatever you can imagine. There is only one staircase that connects one floor with another, and these staircases are located within dangerous mazes filled with monsters. The players with navigate through these floors to the top with nothing than the weapons in their hands. And yes, I said players.

This is the world of Aincrad, a floating castle in a virtual sky, and yes, I said VIRTUAL sky. This world and this floating castle world are in a realm made of digital information…the world of Sword Art Online. A world that was supposed to be game, but because a nightmare prison when its creator, Akihiko Kayaba, trapped the ten thousand players within this virtual world and if they die here, they will die in real life. The ten thousand players struggle in this 'game death' to reach the top of the floating castle where the final boss and the key to their freedom waits.

Story 46: Spira Stories 7: Dark Dragon's Roar

Note: This story takes place in the Hollow Fragment timeline and takes place around during time of Chapter 17 of World's Song.

July 2025 (Earth time), Spira, Bevelle

Within the former capital of Spira, we find Yuna, Rikku, and Paine with our world-hopping heroes and heroines on the area of Bevelle known as the Bevelle Highbridge where they are fighting against New Yevon members armed with what looks like firearms and flamethrowers in which the flamethrower users unleash waves of flames at our heroes and heroines, but thanks to the powers of Sailor Mars over fire, Sailor Mars is able to redirect the flames away from them while the others, like Rika, using a Black Mage Dressphere, uses lightning spells to knock them with powerful 'shocks'.

Rika's Black Mage Dressphere is similar to Rikku's Black Mage Dressphere, but where Rikku's Black Mage Dressphere has a coloration of violet, it is rosy-red for Rika's Black Mage Dressphere.

Strea, dressed in a violet version of Paine's Warrior Dressphere and wielding a sword to the one that she had in SAO, shouts out, "Nice one, Liz!" Strea uses her sword to take down another New Yevon solider with one powerful swing where she sends him flying up some distance before he crashes back down with a nasty 'thud'.

Rikku says, with a winch, "Ooh, that had to hurt."

Yuna asks, concerned, "Will he be, okay?"

Kazuto tells Strea, "Easy, Strea. We really don't want to kill anyone."

Strea says, nervously, "Oops, sorry."

Sailor Mercury says, her visor over her eyes, "Thankfully, despite Strea's attack and the fall, he will survive…though he won't be getting up any time soon."

Paine says, with a plain tone, "Not bad."

Sailor Uranus says, nodding her head, "That's Strea for you. Don't let her good looks fool you. She is quite deadly."

Strea gives a playful giggle causing Sailor Star and a few others to give nervous looks in which Kazuto thinks in his mind, nervously, "I hate to admit it, but Paine may have a point."

Sailor Sun says, "It was too bad that we couldn't bring Gatomon and the others along."

Naruto says, with a grin, "Yeah, it would have scared the shit out of them!"

Tai says, with a plain tone, "And that's the point. We're already invading their headquarters, but let's not them start rumors about us able to 'summon' and 'use monsters' where they could mistake our Digimon partners as the 'fiends' of this world."

Cody says, nodding his head, "I agree with Tai. Let's not spread rumors about us and the Gullwings." Soon enough, our heroes and heroines manage to reach the end of Bevelle Highbridge and the entrance to Bevelle Temple which is the headquarters of New Yevon.

Davis says, "Well, here we are at the gates."

Sailor Jupiter says, bluntly, "And look at that: The gates are closed."

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, "That's not surprising, Jupiter. If I saw a group associated with your enemies attacking my home base, I would 'clamp down' too."

Rikku says, "But we aren't part of the Youth League!"

Paine retorts, bluntly, "Not in their eyes, Rikku. Even though we haven't joined the Youth League, by giving them the sphere from Kilika, in their minds, we have 'made bed' with them."

Sailor Sun asks, curiously, "So, what do we do now?"

Sailor Uranus says, with a sly smirk, "Isn't it obvious? We get inside."

Sailor Neptune tells Sailor Uranus, with a sly smile, "I know what you are thinking, Uranus-chan, and I don't think that blowing up the door is a good idea."

Sailor Venus says, with a nod, "Yeah, what if there are people behind the door? And there could be people behind the door."

Keiko asks, curiously, "So, what do we do?"

Sailor Jupiter says, with a smirk, "That's simple."

Sailor Mercury asks, curiously, "What do you mean?" Sailor Jupiter just smirks as she leaps over to door, grabs them, and manages to wrench them open with one yank causing Yuna and Rikku to give looks of shock.

Yuna says, stunned, "My goodness…

Rikku yells out, stunned, "Whoa!"

Paine says, plainly, "You are quite strong."

Rika asks, bluntly, "Seriously, Lita?"

Sailor Star says, nervously, "Well, at least the doors are open, and we didn't have to blow them causing any casualties."

Yuna says, with a nod, "I guess that you are right, Asuna."

Davis asks, seriously, "Well, what are we waiting for?"

Tuxedo Mask says, plainly, "We need to be careful."

Sailor Pluto says, "Tuxedo Mask is right. They may not only have guards, but also traps."

Yolei asks, plainly, "When don't they have traps and such in their headquarters?"

Paine says, plainly, "Time to move." Soon enough, the group ventures through the opening and go through the outside hallways of the temple where they don't meet any resistance as well as no resistance within the temple as well.

One of the priests tells Yuna, "Lady Yuna, please be careful. The soldiers have worked themselves into a frenzy."

Yuna responds, a bit nervously, "I will."

When Yuna returns to the others, Keiko says, amazed, "I'm shocked."

Kazuto says, "They may either not know about what happened with the Kilika sphere or still believes in Yuna for her actions in ending the one thousand years of terror and death caused by Sin."

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, "Or both."

Plenty of the others nod their heads in agreement in which Rika says, "That's good and all, but what do we do now? There doesn't seem to be any way forward with that lift going up there only and there is nothing up there!"

Kazuto says, "We should look around for anything that could help us."

Sailor Star says, with a nod, "Good idea, Kirito-kun." Immediately, everyone looks around and within one room, to the right of the main hallway, they find a large 'stone platform' like a table in the room.

Kotone asks, curiously, "What is this?"

Sailor Mercury says, on her computer and having her visor over her eyes, "Not sure, Kotone." Out of curiosity, Naruto puts his hand on the 'table' causing it to glow for a second before the sound of something opening is heard.

Sailor Celestial asks, curiously, "What was that?"

Sailor Moon says, "It came from the other side."

Kazuto says, with a plain tone, "Let's go." Immediately, our group heads over to another hallway where they find an opening in an upper portion of the wall.

Mimi says, pointing to the opening, "There is an opening there now!"

Rika says, with a smirk, "Isn't that something? There is a flag for you!"

Naruto says, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Immediately, the group gets up into opening where they find themselves in a room where they find two pedestals displaying holographic images of the platform in the main hallway.

Kotone asks, curiously, "What do you think that this is?"

Sailor Orion says, "Based on previous experience, most likely, these are controls for the floating platform in the room."

Kazuto says, nodding his head, "I agree with Shion with this. This must be controls for the platform."

Paine says, "Then using this should change where it goes."

Rikku yells out, excitedly, "Where are we waiting for? Come on, Yunie, push it!"

Yuna says, with a nod, "Okay." Soon after, Yuna pushes the button on one of the platforms causing the hologram of the platform to go lower.

Keiko asks, curiously, "What does that mean?"

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, "Most likely, it means that the platform will go down than go up."

Tai says, "Then let's try it out!"

Naruto says, excitedly, "Yeah!" Sakura can only sigh at Naruto's 'enthusiasm' while Hinata giggles as our heroes and heroines go back into the main hallway with Yuna, Paine, and Rikku getting onto the platform where it goes down into the foggy depths below.

Sailor Venus says, excitedly, "It worked!"

Kazuto is looking around at the seen in the hallway causing Sailor Star to ask, "What's wrong, Kirito-kun?"

Kazuto says, with a plain tone, "Things are a mess."

Tuxedo Mask says, with a nod, "Indeed." Sailor Moon then notices a VERY THOUGHTFUL look on Tuxedo Mask's face.

Sailor Moon asks her boyfriend, "What's wrong?"

Tuxedo Mask says, plainly, "I can't be sure that our 'intrusion' has got them all in a panic."

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, "Funny. I get the same feeling."

Sailor Saturn asks Sailor Uranus, "You do, Uranus-papa?"

Sailor Uranus says, with a nod, "Yeah, Firefly, I do."

Kazuto says, plainly, "I feel the same way."

Cody says, plainly, "I guess we will find our answers down there." Plenty of the others nod their heads in agreement and after a short time, the platform returns upwards where the members of our heroes and heroines that can't fly take the platform while those that can fly, namely the Sailor Scout members of the group, fly down alongside the platform. Soon enough, our heroes and heroines join Yuna, Rikku, and Paine within Bevelle temple where they see concerned looks in Yuna's eyes while an exasperated expression on Rikku's face.

Sailor Moon asks, curiously and concerned, "What's wrong?"

Yuna says, pointing ahead of her, "That." Everyone looks in the direction that Yuna is pointing at to find lizard-like fiends in the passageways ahead of them.

Yolei asks, surprised, "What are those doing here?"

Rikku says, nervously, "That's my question."

Rika asks, confused, "Wasn't this place some kind of sacred area?"

Kazuto tells Rika, "True, Rika. However, after Yuna defeated Sin, the spirits of the people that were at the 'core' of the aeons, the 'Fayth', left for their 'eternal rest' in which the stones that they 'resided' in lost power causing them to become inert."

Sailor Orion says, nodding her head in agreement, "That means that any protection that they gave would have gone too."

Yuna says, "That may be true, but it wouldn't explain why there are fiends in the temple."

Sailor Pluto says, nodding her head, "That's a good point. This temple is in the center of the largest city in this world, and I doubt that the city's protectors would 'lapse' even after the defeat of that 'terror' over this world for generations. In fact, with this place as the headquarters of two of the strongest 'political entities' in this world right now, they would make sure that this city is not 'infested' and that means that seeing these creatures in here does not make sense."

Kazuto says, with a nod, "That does make sense."

Paine says, "The temples are full of secrets. And now, we have one to deal with."

Tuxedo Mask says, "Indeed. The threat from this 'doomsday weapon' are grave to Spira. Right now, we need to focus on that for the moment."

Sailor Celestial says, with a nod, "Right." Sailor Celestial thinks in her mind, curiously, "Why do I feel a sense of nostalgia going through me?" Sailor Celestial clears her mind as she and the others venture forth through the area of the temple that's known as the Cloyster of Trial, the section of the temple that Summoners and their guardians had to go through to reach what's known as the Chamber of Fayth, where Fayth, the ones that 'granted' Summoners aeons, resided, while also completing puzzles as a 'test' of their abilities to determine their worthiness. However, that was in the past and currently, our heroes and heroines are battling against various fiends as they venture through this area of the temple until they reached the entrance to the Chamber of the Fayth where they find the door into the main chamber basically destroyed.

Keiko says, surprised, "Oh my…"

Yuna asks, shocked and stunned, "What in the world?"

Sailor Uranus says, with a very serious expression, "I think that we may have found where those fiends are coming from."

Yuna looks at Sailor Uranus in surprise where Joe says, "We don't know that."

Kazuto says, "Amara might be right."

Sailor Star asks Kazuto, "What do you mean?"

Tuxedo Mask says, pointing to the entrance to the main chamber of the Chamber of Fayth, "The way that the entrance has been destroyed. It looks like it was blown up from inside of the chamber itself."

Looking back and forth between Tuxedo Mask and the entrance, Rikku asks, surprised, "Really?"

Paine says, with a plain tone, "He's right. The entrance looks like it was blow away from the inside of the chamber."

Kotone asks, curiously, "What does that mean?"

Tai says, plainly, "Something inside wanted to get out."

Sailor Moon asks, curiously, "But shouldn't the only thing in there be that 'aeon stone' or 'Fayth'?"

Yuna says, concerned, "Yes, it should."

Sailor Mars says, seriously, "We should be ready for anything."

Paine says, drawing her sword, "Agreed." Plenty of the others also draw their weapons and prepare to venture into the main chamber of the Chamber of Fayth while Yuna has a look of concern on her face in which Sailor Moon, Sailor Celestial, and a few others take notice of as they venture into the main chamber. Once inside of the main chamber, they find a massive hole leading downwards in area where Bahamut's statue or 'aeon stone' used to be.

Kotone says, shocked, "My goodness…"

Sailor Jupiter says, plainly, "That's not good."

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, "To say the least."

Sailor Saturn asks, confused, "What happened?"

Sailor Orion says, plainly, "Something that proves our theory right about what happened to the door. Something in here wanted to get out."

Rikku asks, curiously, "What makes you say that?"

Kazuto says, pointing to the hole, "That. The edges of the hole are pointing upwards and that means that whatever created this hole came from below the statue that used to be here."

Cody says, plainly, "That means that whatever destroyed the statue was trying to get out from this room and not trying to get in."

TK says, with a plain tone, "It seems so."

When Sailor Mercury, her visor active and using her computer, looks down the hole, she says, "There seems to be a facility down there!"

Plenty of the others look at Sailor Mercury causing Sailor Jupiter to ask, "Are you sure?"

Sailor Mercury says, with a nod, "Yes, I am."

Rika asks, curiously, "How can there be something under a temple? Isn't this kind of place sacred or something?"

Tuxedo Mask says, plainly, "It is possible."

Sailor Moon asks, curiously, "What do you mean?"

Ken says, plainly, "Remember from what we learned about Spira's history, Bevelle was around long before Sin and Yu Yevon, so, it is most likely this temple, here, was a more 'recent' addition to Bevelle when Yu Yevon created Sin and the 'religion' around him was formed especially since this temple was probably created to house the 'Fayth' that once resided here until recently."

Paine asks, plainly, "So, you are saying that the facility down below could be from the days before Sin, right? From the times of the Machina Wars?"

Cody says, with a nod, "Most likely."

Kazuto says, with a plain tone, "And it is most likely that the people that created the temple built this place to seal in the facility."

Sailor Jupiter says, plainly, "Well, not anymore."

Yuna says, with a plain tone, "Let's go." Soon afterwards, Yuna drops down the hole that once held the aeon stone/statue of Bahamut with Rikku and a few others in the group giving looks of surprise.

Yolei says, concerned, "Hey, Yuna!"

Paine tells Yolei, plainly, "Don't bother." Paine then follows Yuna afterwards in which plenty of the others look at each other before following Yuna and Paine down the hole into the facility that was hidden by aeon stone that was here. When they reached the bottom, they find themselves walking on a metallic floor in front of a hole in a wall where they walk through to find themselves that they are on a balcony of some sort overlooking an immense facility where something in the center that looks like a few gears over a mound with a hole in the center of it all.

Sailor Celestial says, shocked and amazed, "Whoa!"

Sailor Jupiter asks, stunned, "What kind of temple has this hidden away?"

Kazuto says, "Well, this leads creditability to Ken's theory. This facility could have existed before the Yevon faith and Sin in which when Yevon faith become dominate political authority of Spira, they had the temple built over this facility to hide it away. Maybe to leave it forgotten for all time."

Sailor Uranus says, with a plain tone, "Not anymore." Just then Sailor Orion spins around and points her bow in that direction causing everyone else to hear several familiar yelps in which when everyone looks in that direction, they find Sailor Orion pointing her arrows at Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi.

Rikku says, with a glare and sneer, "Look who came down to play, gang! You have got some nerve!"

Sailor Venus asks, confused, "How did you get by all of the priests and soldiers?"

Paine retorts, plainly, "Mainly because we did most of the work for them."

Sailor Uranus says, bluntly, "That's for sure."

Sailor Orion asks, plainly, "Any reason why I shouldn't spear them now?"

Leblanc shouts out, nervously, "Wait! Wait! We're your allies! You can't attack your allies!"

Davis says, with a nasty glare, "I think that the gang can agree that we are FAR from allies!"

Yolei says, with a nod, "For once, I agree with Davis! We're NOT allies!"

Sailor Orion says, "More like two 'business partners' with a common interest."

Kazuto says, plainly, "In any case, since we 'joined forces', we can't turn on them and we may have a use for them."

Rika says, with a sly smirk and sly sarcastic tone, "Yeah, as good 'meat shields' since Leblanc's two goons are good at tanking hits." Logos and Ormi glare at Rika in which she gives a sly smirk in return.

Rikku says, with a wide grin, "Good idea, Rika!" Just then a loud alarm blares causing a good number of the group to yelp in surprise including Rikku causing her to shout out, nervously, "What's that?"

Sailor Uranus says, bluntly, "An alarm."

Sailor Neptune tells Sailor Uranus, with a kind yet slightly threatening tone, "Uranus-chan…"

Keiko says, nervously while looking ahead, "Uh oh!"

Sailor Celestial asks, looking at Keiko, "What's wrong?"

Keiko says, pointing ahead of her, "That!" Everyone looks towards where Keiko is pointing and soon enough, they see weaponized machina, similar to long-range YAT-99, floating out of center of the 'mound'.

Rika says, nervously, "That's trouble."

Sailor Jupiter says, with a nod, "No joke."

Yuna turns to Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi where Yuna tells them, seriously, "Watch the exit!"

Leblanc says, sternly, "I don't take orders!"

Rika says, pointing to approaching weapons machina, "You want to face that? There is that."

Leblanc says, a bit nervous in her tone, "But…I'll make an exception this time. Leave to us love!"

Yolei whispers to Ken, sarcastically, "Yeah, right."

Sailor Sun asks, "So, what's the plan?"

Sailor Jupiter says, seriously, "What do you think Kari? We turn those overgrown tin soldiers into scrap metal!" Sailor Jupiter zooms off before anyone could stop her.

Sailor Moon says, concerned, "Jupiter!"

When Sailor Uranus follows Sailor Jupiter, Paine asks, plainly, "They are quite excitable, aren't they?"

Sailor Neptune says, with a sly smile, "Yes, you could say that." Sailor Saturn gives a nervous smile at Sailor Neptune's words while a few of the others can't help to sigh at the antics of Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Uranus.

Sailor Celestial says, seriously, "We'll go on ahead! Follow as quickly as you can!"

Sailor Celestial takes off in which Tuxedo Mask tells Sailor Moon, "Be careful."

Sailor Moon says, with a nod, "We will."

Kazuto tells Sailor Star, "You and Sugu stay safe, Asuna."

Sailor Star tells Kazuto, with a nod of her head, "We will, Kirito-kun." Immediately, the other Sailor Scouts of the group fly off to go after Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Uranus where they are quickly engaged by the ancient weaponized machina where Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Uranus strike them with a combo wind and lightning magic attack that causes the two floating machina to stumble backwards somewhat.

Sailor Neptune tells Sailor Uranus, in a bit of a teasing tone, "You are in quite a rush, Uranus-chan."

Sailor Moon says, plainly, "Be careful, everyone."

Sailor Mercury says, "These kind of machines are long range artillery type weapons."

Sailor Star says, "Since they are long range weapon, they are most likely not good with close range combat. Normally, they would be mixed with close range combatants, but these guys aren't."

Sailor Jupiter says, with a grin, "That means that we should get close and smash them!"

Sailor Mars says, annoyed, "Please don't go all 'Hulk' on them, Jupiter."

Sailor Celestial says, seriously, "Watch it!" Soon after, the Sailor Scouts dodge explosive projects from their mechanical opponents and quickly move in to attack at close range with Sailor Jupiter using her fists with Sailor Moon, Sailor Sun, Sailor Celestial, Sailor Star, and Sailor Uranus using their swords while Sailor Saturn using her Silent Glaive. Due to the fact that they are 'point blank range', the machina couldn't attack them due to the fact that they are projectile weapons are used for long range attacks. It quickly proved their undoing as Sailor Celestial and Sailor Moon cut off one YAT-99's 'arms' while Sailor Uranus uses her Space Sword to 'behead' that weapon machina while Sailor Jupiter crushes the head with a single punch while Sailor Orion uses explosive arrows to destroy its arms. With that, the remains of the two ancient weapon machina crash onto the floor where they explode into burned spare parts. Soon afterwards, the rest of the group, using a huge chain linking the ledge connected to the hole in the wall and the 'mound', arrive on the scene.

Paine tells them, "Nice work."

Kotone asks, curiously, "What is this place?"

Tuxedo Mask says, pointing to a passageway, "There is a passageway down there."

Sailor Mercury says, using her visor and computer, "Unfortunately, there seems to be a field around the entrance into there. It must be a security field of some kind."

Rika says, irritated, "Of course there is."

Yuna asks Sailor Mercury, "Is there any way to deactivate it?"

Sailor Mercury uses her visor and scans the area causing her to say, after she is done, "These towers seem to be the lock. The towers with 'posts' that are glowing with blue lights seem to be the key. However, I believe that they have a 'security protocol' in which when they are deactivated, they will send 'security detachments' out."

Sailor Celestial says, bluntly, "Of course they will."

Paine asks, bluntly, "Why should we be surprised by that?"

Kazuto says, "We don't have a choice. If we try to force the barrier by attacking it, something worse might happen."

Tuxedo Mask says, with a nod of his head, "Agreed."

Davis says, "Not like we haven't faced anything like that before."

Yolei says, with a nod, "No joke."

Paine says, bluntly, "Then let's go and do this already." Soon enough, Yuna goes over to the first tower with the twin 'posts' that are glowing where she deactivates it causing the security field over the 'maw' to glow in which YSLS-Zero emerges seemly from the security field.

Ken says, "Well, that shows that this is an ancient structure."

Sailor Star asks, curiously, "Why is that?"

Izzy responds, "From the database back on the Celsius, we found that machina is a YSLS-Zero, which is a Defender, a powerful golem-like machina that's ancient."

Cody says, plainly, "That means that it comes from the time of the Machina Wars and it means that this structure does to."

Tai says, seriously, "Talk about that kind of stuff later!"

Davis says, with a nod, "Yeah! We have a big bad golem to deal with and I don't think that we want him to 'play pattycake' with us!" Soon enough, our group faces off against massive machina golem, where like golems seen in fiction, its 'basic attacks' are lumbering towards our heroes and heroines and swing its massive arms for powerful strikes. However, our group knows better in which they avoid the powerful, yet, lumbering strikes of the machine golem especially its Haymaker attack, but it shows that it can strike bac when the YSLS-Zero uses its Blast Punch against them where Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Saturn, and Sailor Sun are knocked to the ground.

Davis and Tai say in unison, worriedly, "Kari!"

Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune say in unison, fearfully, "Saturn!" Kotone and Sailor Star immediately make quick strikes against the machina golem where it swings wildly at them, but Kotone and Sailor Star use superior agility to easily dodge its attacks.

Strea charges in and yells out, with an annoyed tone, "You are going to pay for hurting my friends, you big meanie!"

Kazuto says, concerned, "Strea, hold on!" However, it is too late as machine golem turns its attention to Strea, who is charging in, and YSLS-Zero charges in with a swing of its massive hands where Strea counters with a sword of her sword. When Strea's sword and machina golem's fist collide, they cause a loud 'bang' to be heard as they cause a small shockwave where the two of them stumble backwards.

Sailor Star asks, concerned, "Are you okay, Strea-chan?"

Strea says, with a wide grin, "Peachy!"

Rikku says, shocked, "No way!"

Yuna says, stunned, "She's strong."

Sailor Moon says, nervously, "That's Strea for you." Soon afterwards, a powerful assault from Sailor Celestial and Sailor Sun damaging the machina golem enough that the rest of it, literally, falls to pieces.

Sailor Mercury says, looking at her computer with her visor still active, "That's one!"

Paine says, "On to the next one."

Kazuto says, "Be on guard, everyone. There will be a guard for that one too."

Rika retorts, sarcastically, "No kidding." Soon enough, the group goes to the second security tower and like the first one, 'triggering' it causes another YSLS-Zero to appear on the force-field, but this time, they are ready with Sakura meeting its lumbering slam attack with her own super-strength punch where their clash cause a slight shockwave that caused both to stumble backwards where Naruto comes in with two familiar spiraling spheres of chakra in his hands.

"Rasenrengan!"

Naruto hits YSLS-Zero with both spheres of chakra at the same time where it is literally blasted into pieces by a strong explosion.

Yuna and Rikku are stunned causing Rikku to say, shocked, "Whoa!"

Yuna says, amazed, "Incredible."

Paine says, with a nod, "Not bad."

Davis tells Naruto, "Great job, bro!"

Naruto says, with a smile, "No big, believe it!"

Tai says, seriously, "Time to move people!" Immediately, the group arrives at the third tower where Yuna goes to 'trigger' and deactivate the force-field after our group finishes the 'guardian' for this tower.

Sailor Jupiter says, with a grin, "Let's take care of this final tin can!" However, when Yuna triggers the tower, instead of YSLS-Zero, there is a giant orange winged fiend with claws for hands and a claw-like scythe tail instead of legs.

There are quite a number of looks of shock and surprise causing Keiko to ask, "What the heck is that?"

Sailor Uranus responds, bluntly, "Big trouble."

Yolei says, sarcastically, "Yeah, obviously."

Rikku says, stunned, "Yunie! That fiend looks like the one that we fought at Zanarkand!"

Yuna says, nodding her head, "Yes, it does."

Kazuto says, plainly, "I should have seen this coming."

Sailor Celestial tells Kazuto, "Big brother, this is real life, not a VRMMO."

Kazuto says, with a nod, "You have a point, Sugu."

Sakura says, seriously, "Fight now and talk later! It is about to attack!" Sakura, wearing her usual clothing, then 'transforms' into what looks like an 'outfit' similar to Yuna's Gun Mage Dressphere, expect that every part of the coloration of the outfit that's violet in Yuna's Gun Mage Dressphere is rosy red in this outfit. Sakura then uses the Scan ability of what is obvious a Gun Mage Dressphere causing her to say, "It is called a Precepts Guard and one nasty looking fiend."

Rika tells Sailor Celestial, with a smile, "Not like a VRMMO, huh?"

Kazuto tells Rika, "Well, I still agree with Sugu on that point since you can't 'respawn' after dying…and SAO doesn't count."

Sailor Star says, nodding her head, "Of that, we can all agree on THAT point, Kirito-kun." Afterwards, our group engages against the huge fiend where all of them are slammed down to the ground as they are hit by a gravity wave.

Sailor Jupiter yells out, confused, "What the heck was that?"

Tuxedo Mask responds, "Some kind of…gravity wave."

Paine says, with a plain tone, "That's Demi, gravity based elemental spell."

Rika says, with a groan, "Sure felt like it."

Yolei says, with a grunt and nod of her head, "No joke."

Kazuto says, "Be careful, everyone! We don't know what else it can do!"

Kotone says, with a nod, "Right!" Our group struggle back to their feet and continue their fight, but it doesn't prove easy in which the Precepts Guard fights back including using spells like Drain to suck the 'vitality' of our group to revitalize itself while using Osmose to drain their mystical energy.

Sailor Celestial thinks in her mind, concerned, "Crap! I had better watch it! If that thing uses that trick on me, my energy could turn him into something akin to a nuke literally!" The battle continues on with Precepts Guard proving tricky with using Demi to knock down plenty of our group with that gravity attack though plenty of the Sailor Scouts of the group, anticipating such an attack now, manage to stay on their feet. However, Precepts Guard continues to prove tricky since after its gravity attack, the Precepts Guard hits several member with Bio, a nasty magic attack that inflicts poison 'status' including Rika, Keiko, and even Sailor Venus.

Kazuto says, while looking over Rika, Keiko, and Sailor Venus, "They've been poisoned!"

Sora says, with a nod, "I'm on it!" Sora then changes into a White Mage Dressphere, similar to Yuna's White Mage Dressphere, expect that it is mainly pink-red in color with the top of the staff/specter being in the shape of the Crest of Love, where Sora uses Esuna to cure Rika, Keiko, and Sailor Venus of their poisoning.

Yolei says, excitedly, "Nice one, Sora!"

Mimi says, excitedly, "Ooh, I've got an idea!"

Joe asks Mimi, "What is that?"

Mimi says, with a sly smile, "You'll see!" Mimi then transforms into Festivalist similar to Rikku's Festivalist Dressphere expect that her kimono is mainly green with Rikku's kimono being mainly sky-blue in coloration.

Sailor Uranus asks, confused and annoyed, "Why did you change into THAT Dressphere?" Mimi then uses her Dresspheres Fire Sandal attack to hit Precepts Guard with a powerful Firaga attack.

Yolei says, nervously, "Well…at least that hurt it."

Sailor Sun says, with a nervous smile, "I guess that Mimi wanted to really make a blast."

TK tells Sailor Sun, with a curious quirk, "Really, Kari? I think that you have been dating Davis too long."

Davis tells TK, with a glare, "Funny, TC."

Tai says, seriously, "Not the time, guys!" The Precepts Guard proves that point by slamming the group with another Demi which it follows up by hitting Sailor Sun with Osmose with Drain on Naruto causing him to grunt slightly.

Hinata asks Naruto, "Are you okay, Naruto?"

Naruto says, plainly, "Just fine, Hinata-chan. I've got energy to spare since I am an Uzumaki after all. Clan of longevity, believe it!"

Sakura tells Naruto, bluntly, "But even you have your limits!"

Davis says, "Let's finish this before we find those limits!"

Naruto says, with a nod, "No joke!" They continue on with the fight where their coordination finally manages to allow them to defeat the Precepts Guard which 'explodes' into hundreds of pyrefiles. In the aftermath, the shield around the circular 'chasm' vanishes and platforms that led to the entrance into the passageway in one of the walls of the 'chasm' are seen that line up allow people to get to the passageway safely.

Rikku says, excitedly, "We did it! We're the best!"

Sailor Venus says, with a wide grin, "You know it, girlfriend!"

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, "Not the time."

Paine says, plainly, "There is more to come."

Kazuto says, with a nod, "Agreed. Let's be careful."

Sailor Star retorts, nodding her head in agreement, "Right, Kirito-kun." Soon enough, the group heads off into passageway within the chasm where they find themselves within a man-made passageway with the floor having multiple symbols engraved on the pathway and walls.

Cody says, "This place is ancient."

Ken says, with a nod, "Yeah, it is. It also looks like that it is long lasting since I don't think that this place looks like it has degraded at all."

Sailor Mercury says, using her visor and her computer, "Yes, Ken. You and Cody have a point. This place has been well constructed."

Sailor Jupiter says, seeing something up ahead, "Hey, Ami-chan, better put down the computer! We have trouble!" Sailor Mercury looks up from her computer to see her and everyone else stopping in front of a pair of two mechs knowns as a YAU-28, a tall brown colored puppet-like armless robot that attacks with powerful kicks.

Rika says, annoyed, "Here we go again!"

Naruto says, with a grin, "Bring them on! We can handle these tin cans!"

Strea says, excitedly, "Yeah!" Our group immediately starts battles with YAU-28 in which Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Uranus easily dodge their attacks where they counter with their own kicks to the heads of the tall robots causing them to stumble back, but the two YAU-28 don't fall in which they immediately resume attacking our heroes and heroines.

Sailor Venus says, "They are pretty tough for old robots!"

Paine says, plainly, "We can't be sure that they are old."

Tuxedo Mask asks Paine, "You think that these robots are recent?"

Paine responds, plainly, "As I have told Yuna before, Bevelle has many secrets."

Sailor Celestial says, with a nod and plain tone, "Yeah, obviously." The battle continues in which the YAU-28 manage to quickly fall since their kicking attacks are all too predictable for our group in which they collapse in a heap.

Naruto says, excitedly, "Yeah!"

Sakura tells Naruto, "Don't celebrate too soon, Naruto. There may be more of these."

Kazuto says, nodding his head in agreement, "Agreed. There is a secret here that wants to kept secret."

Sailor Uranus says, nodding her head as well, "You got that right, Kazuto."

Hinata says, her Byakugan active, "They're right. I can see plenty of robots like the ones that we have already faced ahead and there is no way around them."

Davis says, with a sly smirk, "Then we go right through them!"

Strea says, excitedly, "Yeah, let's do it!"

Keiko asks, nervously, "Do we have to?"

Yolei says, with a sigh, "Now you know what we and the Sailor Scouts go through in our lives."

Sailor Jupiter says, with a nod of her head, "That's for sure."

Rika says, nodding her head in some kind of agreement/understanding, "That's why you and the others that were trapped in SAO did so well."

Matt says, plainly, "It isn't our first time in a 'digital world' and dealing with 'monsters'."

Paine says, plainly, "It shows." Soon afterwards, the group continues on through the hallways where they battle various mechs/machina along the way. Afterwards, the group finds themselves inside of a room where in the center there is essential of a large gear made of a central 'column' with several other smaller 'columns' that are connected by 'gears' connected to the central 'column' where they rotate in clockwise rotation.

Sailor Celestial asks, curiously, "What do you think that this is?"

Sailor Mercury says, curious tone in her voice, "I'm not sure."

Rikku then says, "Oh!" Rikku races forward, motions to the whole area, and she asks Yuna, "Yunie! That sphere with 'you-know-who' on it. It was recorded here, wasn't it?"

Yuna says, plainly, "Well…"

On the meanwhile, Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi, who have been following our group some distance away, come up with Leblanc shouting out, annoyed tone in her voice, "Get your head out of the clouds and move it!"

As Leblanc walks off, Yolei yells out, annoyed, "Who died and made you leader?!"

Sailor Venus and Rika say in unison, annoyed tones in their voices, "Yeah!" The group continues on where they pass by Logos and Ormi with Ormi having what looks like a video camera in his hands.

Sailor Moon asks, curiously, "What are they doing?"

Sailor Star says, "It looks like they are recording what they are seeing."

Sailor Orion says, "Most likely getting stuff for Leblanc and her 'beloved'."

Sailor Mars says, nodding her head in agreement, "Most likely, Orion." The group continues down an exit on the left side of the room where they go down a hallway until they seemly hit a wall until the 'wall' lowers down to T-shaped platform with three lifts hovering in front of the platform.

The group looks at each other in which Mimi asks, curiously, "What do we do now?"

Sailor Mercury says, working on her computer with her visor active, "It seems like these lead to an upper floor where there is a lift to head to another section, but that lift can only be activated by a series of switches in different rooms that can only be accessed by taking these platforms to the upper floor in certain 'combinations'."

Kazuto says, "A basic 'puzzle'."

Sailor Mercury says, with a nod, "Yes."

Sailor Venus asks Sailor Mercury, "Have you figured out this 'puzzle'?"

Sailor Mercury replies, with a nod, "Yes."

Kazuto says, plainly, "Follow Ami's instructions carefully, everyone." Afterwards, our heroes and heroines follow Sailor Mercury's instructions on how to get into the next area and when they do so, they find a group of platforms leading to a chest of some kind some distance away from the main pathway.

Kotone goes over to the chest causing her to say, when she gets to it, "A chest? I hope that there is good treasure inside."

Sailor Star tells Kotone, "Be careful, Philia-chan."

Kotone says, with a smile, "I'm okay." Kotone opens the chest causing her to say, taking out a familiar sphere, "There is a sphere in here!"

Plenty of the others are surprised causing Yuna to ask, curiously, "Really?"

Rikku says, excitedly, "Bring it here!" Kotone returns to the others where she brings the sphere where they discover that it is a Dressphere known as the Dark Knight Dressphere. A bit afterwards, we find Sora wearing a Dark Knight Dressphere similar to Yuna's Dark Knight Dressphere though the colors are black and rosy-red.

Sora says, a bit nervously, "I don't know about this Dressphere."

Mimi says, a bit nervously, "It looks a little too 'dark' to me."

Paine says, plainly, "It may prove useful."

Kazuto says, "This is the Dark Knight Dressphere, huh? It looks appropriately named."

Naruto says, "Well, we don't have the time to wonder about it now."

Sakura says, with a sigh, "I hate to admit it, but you have a point."

Hinata says, nodding her head in agreement, "We have to hurry." Soon enough, the group continues on, but when they reach a left-turn corner, they stop when they hear footsteps coming from across hallways causing them to stop. After several seconds, a person emerge from the corner and confronts our group.

This person is a dark-skinned young man with brown eyes and short silver hair styled in a quiff, held back with a blue headband, and his attire seems to be a modified version of Yevon wares with yellow trimmed green coat with orange panels and glyphs on the chest and black-and-white panels bearing glyphs on the lower portion. The collar comes up to his chin and he has a red rope running through silver eyelets, and he wears brown bands on the sleeves. An elaborate black and white strip extends down his back. Underneath the coat he wears a khaki wrap shirt, brown codpiece, khaki trousers, and brown boots.

Sailor Celestial asks, curiously, "Who is that?"

Paine responds, with a blunt tone, "Baralai, leader of New Yevon."

Our heroes and heroines from Earth give looks of surprise causing Davis to ask, a bit surprised, "This is New Yevon's head honcho?"

Mimi comments, with a plain tone, "Not bad looking."

Plenty of the others deadpan at this causing Matt to say, "Not the time, Mimi."

The young dark-skinned male, revealed to be the leader of New Yevon, Baralai, says, "The Gullwings? I was wondering who was there and it seems like you have brought friends. A lot of them." Baralai then sighs where he says, "You don't have to tell me. I know why you have come. You are here to destroy the weapon that threatens all of Spira: Vegnagun."

Sailor Uranus asks, plainly, "So, are you going to stand aside or get in our way?"

Baralai says, "If it could be destroyed, we would have done so long ago."

Sailor Celestial says, "Considering Yevon's history, it is pretty hard for us to believe the words coming out of your mouth, pal."

Kazuto says, "Yevon's history of lies and secrets doesn't paint it in a positive light."

Baralai says, "Point taken. However, Vegnagun mustn't be touched. Nooj and you don't seem to understand that."

Paine asks, "You talked to Nooj?"

Baralai says, nervously, "He…can't be trusted."

Rikku says, plainly, "And you can't be? My friends bring up the excellent point! Yevon hasn't changed one damn bit! This 'New Yevon' is just the old Yevon with a brand new brand!"

Baralai looks at Rikku and he says, "Your distrust of Yevon is very understandable, Rikku. What the previous Yevon has done to your people makes your distrust of Yevon completely understandable. Yevon did bring that upon themselves with what it has done." Baralai says, plainly, "However, you need not interfere. Leave Vegnagun to me."

Rika says, bluntly, "Leave you in charge of a 'doomsday weapon'? Uh, I don't think so, pal!"

Yuna asks Baralai, "What do you plan to do?"

Baralai draws out a large staff with large ring at each end of the staff where he says, "Do what needs to be done…by keeping those who would harm Vegnagun away. Please leave."

Sailor Jupiter tells Baralai, "Are you really THAT dumb? Take a look, pal! There are so many of us and only one of you!"

Strea says, with a nod, "Yep! It is going to be a beatdown with you as our punching bag! We are really strong!"

Paine says, stepping forward, "I'm going."

Baralai says, shocked, "Paine!"

Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, looking between Paine and Baralai, "Do they know each other?" However, Sailor Moon doesn't have time to dwell as Baralai charges in for the attack in which he not only uses his strange staff, but he also uses a pistol and his staff also extends outwards where he spins it at high speed. Despite his 'tricks', the battle is what one would expect where Baralai is down on the ground, stunned through not seriously injured.

Sailor Saturn asks, a bit concerned, "Is he okay?"

Sailor Venus says, with a smile, "Yeah, we didn't ring his bell…too hard anyway."

However, Paine is walking off in which she says, bluntly, "I'm going."

Yuna says, plainly, "You have your reasons."

Sailor Star asks, curiously, "Paine-san…?"

However, Paine retorts, plainly, "I know what you are going to ask, so…don't."

Paine then walks off into the distance causing Yolei to say, a bit annoyed, "That was blunt."

Rikku says, with a shrug, "It is the way that she is."

Tuxedo Mask says, with a plain tone, "We had better follow her. We don't know what's ahead and based on what we know, Vegnagun is very dangerous."

Kazuto looks at Baralai with a curious look causing Sailor Moon to ask, "What's wrong?"

When other members of the group look at Kazuto, he says, plainly, "Something tells me that we don't have the full picture here."

Sailor Star asks Kazuto, "Are you sure, Kirito-kun?" When Kazuto nods his head, Sailor Moon and Sailor Star look at each other in the eyes, giving each other a slight nod, in which Sailor Celestial notices.

Sailor Celestial thinks in her mind, "Asuna-san and sis are really close. They seem to know what they are thinking at a glance." Soon enough, everyone else starts to follow Paine deeper where they find themselves within a massive chamber where they find a platform leading about one-quarter into the immense and now, currently empty, chamber. The chamber is empty other than massive broken clamps/restraints of some kind as well as massive damaged wired that are hanging down from the ceiling of the immense chamber.

Strea says, amazed, "It is so big!"

TK says, nervously, "And so empty. This is…not good."

Ken tells TK, "That's a major understatement, TK."

Cody says, nodding his head in agreement, "Yes. Based on the looks of this chamber, this is where Vegnagun is supposed to be stored."

Tuxedo Mask says, with a serious tone and his eyes narrowing, "You're right, Cody. From what we saw on those spheres, this is the chamber where Vegnagun is stored."

Sailor Jupiter asks, seriously, "Here is the sixty-four thousand yen question then: Where is it?!"

Kazuto responds, plainly, "Something tells me that we aren't going to like the answer."

Sailor Uranus says, pointing to our group's right, "Over there. It looks like there are some pyrefiles floating over there." Plenty of the group look in the direction that Sailor Uranus is pointing at and they can see pyrefiles coming up from that direction through they can't get a good view from where they are now.

Izzy says, plainly, "Let's move to the platform to get a better view."

Joe says, with a nod of his head, "Good idea, Izzy." Immediately, the group walks over the walkway that leads to the platform in the now empty chamber, but the instant that they step onto the platform, Sailor Mars, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Celestial, Sailor Moon, and Kazuto immediately 'sense' danger, however, they don't have time to call out a warning as immense dark colored dragon creature with sinister red eyes, dark colored feathered wings, and a blood red halo behind those wings flies up in front of them. Soon afterwards, a mystical circle appears around the feet of our group and entrapping them

Yolei yells out, stunned, "Whoa!"

Keiko asks, nervously, "What is that?"

Rika says, shocked, "It is some kind of freaking dragon! I didn't think that they had those here!"

Yuna gives a look of pure disbelief while Rikku says, stunned, "No way."

Paine asks, curiously, "What is it?"

Rikku says, with a stunned tone in her voice, "It's an aeon!"

There are gasps of shock causing Sailor Saturn to ask, curiously, "You mean the beings that Yuna was 'partnered' with during her journey to defeat Sin?"

Rikku says, with a nod, "Yeah! I know one of those guys anywhere, but he…he looks different!"

Kazuto asks Rikku, "Different?"

Rikku responds, "Darker…and meaner looking!"

Sailor Mercury says, her visor active, "Based on that data that I had gotten from the Celsius, it is the dragon aeon, Bahamut!"

Yolei says, nervously, "Yeah, I would call him a dragon!"

Yuna says, flabbergasted, "An aeon…" In her stunned state, Yuna steps forward towards Bahamut causing the others to look at Yuna in surprise.

Sailor Star yells out, concerned, "Yuna-san!"

Sailor Orion asks, seriously, "What are you doing?"

Yuna shouts out, pleadingly, "You must stop!" Paine and Rikku run over and grab Yuna where they drag her back to the others.

Paine yells out, sternly, "You want to get killed?! We have no choice! We need to fight!"

Sailor Uranus says, seriously, "Paine's right! There is something wrong with this 'creature'!"

Sailor Mars says, seriously, "It has been corrupted!"

Everyone looks at Sailor Mars causing Tuxedo Mask to ask, "You are saying that some kind of evil has taken it over?"

Sailor Mars says, shaking her head, "No. Some kind of incredible malice or some kind of evil has overwhelmed the noble spirit of this 'entity' and driven it into madness!"

Rikku asks, confused, "You mean that this aeon has gone berserk or something?"

Sailor Uranus says, with a nod, "Exactly. It has become possessed by this evil and it is out of control!"

Sailor Moon says, "If it has been corrupted by some kind of evil…" Just then Sailor Moon's broach opens and the light of the Silver Crystal starts to pour out of her broach in which Sailor Moon takes to the air.

Paine asks Sailor Moon, surprised and confused, "What are you doing?"

Sailor Moon says, "If this being is a 'noble spirit' or whatever, if it has been corrupted by some kind of evil, my crystal can purify it! I've got to try!"

Tuxedo Mask tells Sailor Moon, "Be careful!" Sailor Moon nods her head at Tuxedo Mask, but Bahamut quickly focuses its attention on Sailor Moon.

Kazuto, Sailor Star, and Sailor Celestial notice this in which they shout out in unison, worriedly, "Watch out!" Sailor Moon gives a surprised look and hesitates, which is bad news, in which Bahamut takes this moment to unleash his Impulse, four spheres of 'dark energy', which slam into Sailor Moon causing her to scream out as she is flying backwards where she slams onto the platform, which it and a good portion of the walkway, with a nasty 'thud'.

Kazuto and Sailor Celestial say in unison, shocked, "NO!"

Sailor Star says, worriedly, "Usagi-chan!"

Tuxedo Mask yells out, horrified, "Serena!" Tuxedo Mask immediately goes to Sailor Moon, who is unconscious due to the surprise attack of the corrupted aeon as well as hitting the platform in such a 'hard way'.

The others are shocked, too, in which Sailor Jupiter yells out, angrily, "Okay, you overgrown lizard, you asked for this!"

Sailor Uranus says, with a nod of her head and serious tone, "Paine's right! We need to fight!" Bahamut charges in to lash out with its claws, but Sakura meets it with her super-strength punch causing a small shockwave to hit when the two of them clash where Bahamut and Sakura stumble back a bit, however, neither of them 'skips a beat' as Bahamut charges in again, however, Sailor Jupiter counters its swipe with a powerful kick. Soon after, the others attack with all sorts of attacks, however, Bahamut manages to withstand the assaults and unleash another Impulse attack in which while some of our group manage to avoid/defend against the powerful assault, others were thrown to the ground, hard.

Tai asks, surprised, "How much can this guy take?"

Rikku says, seriously, "A lot! And we have to beat it fast before it unleashes its Overdrive attack!"

Sailor Venus asks, worriedly, "Overdrive attack?"

Rikku says, with a nod, "Mega Flare! And you won't want to be on the wrong side of that!"

Mimi says, nervously, "Something tells me that you are right, Rikku."

Davis says, seriously, "Then what are we waiting for? We need to pound that dragon down before it can turn us into flame grilled beef…extra crispy in fact!"

Tai says, with a nod of his head, "No joke, Davis!" The battle continues on, but Bahamut proves quick hardy and manages to strike back in which several of our group had to be healed by White Mages or potions on more than one occasion. However, the ring floating behind his wings starts to rotate causing Yuna's and Rikku's eyes to widen.

Yuna says, worriedly, "Oh no!"

Paine asks, curiously, "What's wrong?"

Rikku says, nervously, "It's coming! Bahamut's big attack!"

Sailor Celestial says, looking at Sailor Saturn, "Saturn!"

Sailor Saturn says, nodding her head, knowing what Sailor Celestial is implying, "Right!" Immediately, Sailor Celestial and Sailor Saturn create a powerful energy dome shield that surrounds everyone when Bahamut unleashes his powerful Mega Flare attack that hits them with a tremendous explosion which the two Sailor Senshi are struggling to protect them from. When the explosion dies down, Sailor Celestial and Sailor Saturn lower the force-field and collapse to their knees from exhaustion.

Kazuto asks Sailor Celestial, concerned, "Sugu, are you and Hotaru all right?"

Sailor Celestial says, weakly, "Yeah…we're okay…"

Sailor Saturn says, weakly, "Such power…"

Sailor Neptune says, with a nod, "You and Celestial did well, Firefly."

Sailor Saturn weakly nods at Sailor Neptune in which Kazuto says, "We need to hurry to make sure that we don't get hit by that again."

Rika says, nervously, "No kidding!"

Kazuto says, "Hit it at the same time!"

Sailor Star says, with a nod, "Right, Kirito-kun!" Soon enough, our group launches a massive combined assault with a mixture of projectiles and offensive magic at Bahamut causing the massive dragon aeon to roar out before it collapses onto the platform and the 'magic field' around it with a 'thud' before vanishing in streams of pyrefiles causing the field around the platform to vanish along with corrupted aeon as well.

At this time, Sailor Moon has just recovered in which Tuxedo Mask asks, concerned, "Are you okay?"

Sailor Moon responds, with a nod, "Yes, I am. Makes me grateful for Valkyrie armor." With Sailor Moon on her feet, Yuna collapses to her knees, due to the mental shock through the experience. Sailor Moon goes over to Yuna causing her to say, "We had no other choice. If anything, we freed it from the evil controlling it."

Sailor Mars says, "Meatball Head is right. Before it fully faded, I could feel its true emotions after we purged it of the evil controlling it. It thanked us for freeing it from malice corrupting and controlling it."

Sailor Neptune says, with a warm smile, "Trust us, Yuna. Mars has a 'sense' for this kind of thing."

Sailor Uranus tells Sailor Neptune, with an exasperated look, "Really, Neptune? That's the sort of thing that I would see Mina-chan do."

Sailor Venus says, annoyed, "Hey!" TK, Sailor Venus' boyfriend, makes no comment for obvious reasons, but just gives a nervous smile.

Yuna says, getting back to her feet, "Thank you." Yuna tells Paine, "You're right. We had to fight it, didn't we?"

Sailor Uranus says, plainly, "But this disturbs me."

Sailor Saturn asks Sailor Uranus, "How so, Uranus-papa?"

Sailor Pluto says, "The evil controlling the aeon, Firefly."

Sailor Mars says, with a nod, "From what I sensed, whoever or whatever was controlling it was filled with a POWERFUL hatred. It is why that creature acted the way that it did."

Sailor Moon asks, curiously and concerned, "You mean that some kind of powerful hate was controlling the aeon?"

Sailor Mars says, nodding her head, "Bingo, Meatball Head. And it was off the scale. The anger…fury…rage…hate…it was big. And I mean BIG!"

Hinata asks Naruto, "Did you sense that too, Naruto-kun?"

Naruto says, with a nod, "Yeah, I felt it too. Nasty stuff."

Ken asks Sailor Mars, "Raye, do you have any idea on what that 'hatred' could be?"

Sailor Mars says, shaking her head, "No. It was nearly overwhelming. I couldn't get a fix on the specifics of the 'force' that was controlling that aeon."

Kazuto says, "I don't think that the aeon being here in the first place and Vegnagun missing are unrelated at all."

Tuxedo Mask says, with a nod, "Agreed. There is a connection."

Kotone asks, curiously, "But what?"

Sailor Star says, "That's a good question, Philia-chan. One that worries me."

Kazuto says, nodding his head in agreement, "Same here, Asuna."

Sakura says, pointing to a huge hole in the wall of the chamber where pyrefiles are coming out, "Right now, we need to focus on that 'doomsday machine' and I believe we know where it has gone."

Rika says, bluntly, "Obviously, Sakura."

Yuna says, plainly, "That hole was made recently."

Yolei says, a bit sarcastically, "I think that it is still smoking makes it pretty obvious, Yuna."

Rikku asks, nervously, "You think that it was Vegnagun?"

Sailor Uranus retorts, bluntly, "The obvious candidate Rikku."

Cody says, plainly while looking around, "Which is reinforced by the state of this room. Those clamps for example."

When Cody points to the massive clamps in the room, Ken says, nodding his head while looking at them as well, "I agree with Cody. By the looks of them, whatever they were holding was the thing that damaged them in the first place."

Rikku asks, looking at the massive hole in the chamber, "Unreal, how far do you think it goes?"

Tai says, plainly, "Good question."

Joe says, nervously, "Better you and me, I rather not know." Just then everyone hears footsteps and they look to see Leblanc, Logos, and Ormi coming into the room.

Leblanc yells out, in a demanding tone, "What? Where's Vegnagun?"

Sailor Jupiter responds, annoyed while pointing to the hole, "Where do you think?"

Leblanc says, in a haughty tone, "It must have fled in terror, knowing that I was coming." Rika struggles to hold back her laughter while Strea loudly giggles at this causing Leblanc to glare at Strea.

Sailor Mars says, bluntly, "Doubtful."

Leblanc says, "Anyway, I must report to Noojie-Woojie at once!" Leblanc tells Logos and Ormi, in a commanding tone, "Boys, record this! Don't miss a single detail!"

Logos and Ormi reply in unison, "Yes, boss!"

Sailor Orion whispers to the others, "We might need to swipe that video later."

Sailor Uranus whispers to Sailor Orion, "Agreed."

Paine asks, "Vegnagun. Was it really here?"

Tuxedo Mask tells Paine, "The evidence says so, Paine. Based on what I see, this chamber was the one recorded on the sphere that we saw. And based on that sphere, this chamber is the only thing large enough to contain such a weapon."

Ken says, nodding his head, "Based on the evidence, this was Vegnagun's 'containment area'."

Sailor Celestial says, plainly, "Emphases on 'was'."

Kazuto says, with a nod, "I agree, Sugu. And having that weapon of mass destruction out there worries me greatly."

Sailor Star says, "I think that we are all worried about Vegnagun being out there, Kirito-kun."

Rika says, with a nod, "No joke."

Keiko says, with a nervous nod, "Yes."

Just then Brother's booms out over their communicators, "Yuna! We are in super doo-doo! Get back to the Celsius on the double!"

Sailor Uranus asks, irritated, "What did he do this time?"

Sailor Moon says, "I don't know. He really sounds it is a big emergency."

Yuna says, "I think that we should head back."

Davis says, with a sigh, "If you say so, Yuna."

Sailor Sun says, a bit nervously, "I think that we should teleport back."

Mimi says, nervously, "Good idea. We did beat up their leader after all."

Yolei says, nervously, "Yeah, good point."

Sailor Orion says, nodding her head in agreement, "Same here. We're already not popular by giving the sphere from Kilika Island temple to the Youth League, but now, we have invaded their home base and beaten down their leader. They are going to very angry with us."

Sailor Moon says, nervously, "Really good point."

Sailor Celestial says, nodding her head, "Yep."

When everyone looks towards Leblanc, Ormi, and Logos causing Sailor Jupiter to ask, "Can we please leave them?"

Sailor Venus asks, with a pleading tone, "Please?"

Kazuto says, plainly, "Tempting, but we may need that video that they are recording."

TK says, with a nod, "Kazuto's right. We might."

Davis says, with a groan, "Great."

Sailor Sun comforts Davis where Sailor Uranus says, annoyed, "Let's do it before I change my mind." Our group plans to teleport out of the chamber, via the Sailor Senshi's teleportation powers, though plenty of our group have concerns about what just happened in this chamber as well as the weapon of mass destruction that's now in the outside world of Spira.

July 2025 (Earth time), Spira, Celsius

Back on board the Celsius, our group enters the bridge in which the alarms are blaring.

Davis yells out, annoyed, "What's with the alarms?"

Sailor Uranus asks, annoyed, "What did Brother do this time?"

Brother shouts out, irritated tone in his voice, "Hey!"

Buddy says, "As much as I want it to be another of Brother's 'antics', this is a real emergency."

Sailor Celestial asks, curiously, "What's wrong?"

Buddy responds, "There are fiends pouring out of the temples."

Rikku asks, concerned and curious tone in her voice, "Which ones?"

Brother yells out, in a panicked tone, "Only freaking ALL OF THEM! It is a freaking state of emergency!"

Sailor Moon says, "That means that what we saw in Bevelle's temple…"

Tuxedo Mask says, finishing for Sailor Moon, "…Wasn't unique."

Buddy asks, overhearing what Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask just said, "You mean that there were fiends in Bevelle too?"

Sailor Mercury says, with a nod, "Yes."

Sailor Jupiter says, "They were just in the temple. They were coming from a big hole where the aeon stone used to be."

Shinra asks, curiously, "USED to be?"

Ken says, "The aeon stone has been destroyed by something and the fiend came from a hole where it used to be which lead to the facility that once housed Vegnagun."

Buddy asks, concerned, "ONCE housed Vegnagun?!"

Sailor Venus says, nervously, "Yeah. When we found the place where it was supposed to be…it wasn't there anymore."

Brother yells out, exasperated, "This is just wonderful! Now, what do we do?!"

Sailor Orion says, with a plain tone, "Good question." The whole of the Gullwings, Spira residents with our heroes and heroines from Earth, look at each other as the whole situation in Spira has gone from bad to worse in which they can't help to wonder what's next for all of them.

And that's that! I'm sorry that it took so long to get out everyone! The previous month has been a busy one for me. Hopefully, the next one won't take as long. I know that there isn't anything new other than what the plot of FFX-2 follows, but I didn't see any real major changes from the plotline of the game.
