Welcome back to chapter forty-six of Pride And Prejudice. Enjoy!

"Cannonball!"

A month old pale cream cub made a jump into a nearby creek causing a large amount of water to splash everything and everyone. Including a resting Sherise, who was lying by the creek resting her eyes. Sherise opened her purple eyes to glare at the younger cub in the creek.

"Josh! You're dead!"

The pale cream cub's dark brown eyes were full of mischief. "Gotta catch me first!"

Sherise glared before running after the retreating younger cub. Joshua or Josh for short laughed before making a quick right, sending Sherise sliding into some bushes.

When Sherise finally caught up she found Josh digging into the ground. His creamy pelt was covered in dirt as dirt and grass went in different directions.

Sherise apporched with her head tilted to the side. "What are you doing?"

Josh looked up, his black tuff fell nicely above his eyes. "Trying to get to the other side of the Pridelands."

It was the fact that Joshua was content on this. He really believed that he could dig to the other end of the kingdom. Sherise burst out laughing, she couldn't help it. Josh was funny. Has been nice they became friends.

"You're so weird."

Josh glared as he faked pouted. "Am not!"

Sherise rolled her eyes before tapping Josh's shoulder. "Are too and you're it."

Josh's eyes widened as he glared at the dark brown cub running into the grass. "No fair!" he ran after Sherise, eager to get her. "Hey slow down!"

...

A four month old goldish cub rolled her light brown eyes as she watched Jessica and Jesús' son be chased by their best friend. "Idiot."

A juvenile laugh caused the goldish cub to groan before tucking down as a tawny cub flew over her head. She sat up and fixed the small goldish fur on her head before looking at her attacker with a raised light brown eye brow.

"For someone who's mother is the head huntress. You're pretty lousy at it."

The tawny cub shook his head to rid of the leaves and twigs before glaring at the cub on the ledge with bright green eyes. "Haha. Very funny Amanda."

"I'm going to get you Jesús!"

Amanda and her tawny pelted friend looked to see Sherise pounce on the retreating pale cream cub. Sending them rolling down a hill. To end up with the month old pale cream cub on his back with Sherise on him and their noses pressed together.

Sherise fluttered her eye lashes bashfully before stepping back to let Josh up. A low whistle made Sherise snap her purple eyes towards the month old tawny cub.

"Shut it, Kopa!"

Kopa and Joshua laughed before running off towards priderock at the growl from the three month cub. Sherise and Amanda glared at the retreating males before running after them.

The sun was shining as a light breeze blew by. King Simba was on his way to priderock to speak to his mother about an issue with one of the herds when he stopped at the sound of someone calling him.

The gold lion turned to see his maternal grandmother trotting over. It surprises him that she and Uru were still alive. As he found out, not too long after defeating Scar that Kesi and Samiha died during his uncle's harsh reign.

"Grandma, is something wrong?"

The light beige lioness had concern in her aged purple eyes. "Simba. You have to listen to me. No matter how crazy it may seem, please hear me out?"

Simba frowned before nuzzling his mother's mother. "I'm listening. What's going on?"

Asra took a deep breath before going on. "Years ago, when your parents and uncle were cubs. Your grandfather had a dream about a lion murdering another lion during a stampede. It turns out that the kings gave Ahadi that dream in warning that we could stop it."

Simba turned his head. "Good those dreams were. My father still was murdered."

"Yes," Asra sighed sadly. "But there was another dream. Simba, please have some of the guard watch over the cubs. I fear for their safety... mainly Kopa's."

Simba looked at his grandmother with wide orange eyes. He couldn't believe what he just heard.

And apparently, neither did a pair of amber eyes.
