Chapter 46: The Black Parade, Part 1

~MAY 18TH, 2022, 8:20AM~

Jordin was with Daichi, Koi and Yoshiro. They were chatting while walking down the street Yoshiro was in.

"Looks like school will be closed until that Milo asshole is taken care of…" Daichi said.

"And my graduation is affected by this shit." Yoshiro said. "To hell with that Milo man… Can't believe he really killed your adopted parents, Jordin…"

"Yeah… But we are gonna make him pay." Jordin said. "We're not going down without a fight!"

"Wait! Before we even take on Milo, do you three remember about that boy yesterday?" Koi asked. "Remember that he told us something about a parade?"

"Actually Koi… Now that you brought it up, what is that parade gonna be like? And how is it gonna affect us?"

"We don't know, but we'll have to see it when we see it…" Yoshiro replied.

Meanwhile, Jocelyn was at her apartment, doing school work.

"Yes… Gotta do some of this and then some of that and then…" Jocelyn said. "Man… This is a lot."

Jocelyn then saw her laptop showing static all of a sudden.

"What the hell?!" Jocelyn shouted. "What happened?! It was working perfectly!"

Jocelyn then got out her phone and then started it up, only for the phone to also show static.

"Come on!" Jocelyn shouted. "What is going on all of a sudden?! Is there an enemy Stand here? I hope not! Urgh! I really need to get the class work done!"

Meanwhile, someone walks up to Jordin and his friends.

"Yo! There's a parade going on!" He shouted.

Jordin and his friends froze as they heard that a parade was about to take place.

"If that parade turned out to be good news, then there's some lie that boy must have told us." Yoshiro said. "Perhaps a set-up by any means…"

"Let's not jump to conclusions, Yoshiro." Koi said. "Let's just see what this whole parade is all about…"

"Hey, can you take us to this parade that's taking place?" Jordin asked the man.

"Sure!" He replied. "Follow me!"

When they got to the destination, they saw a lot of other people here waiting for the parade to pass by.

"The parade should be here any minute now." One person said. "Right?"

"Maybe, who knows what it will be like!" Another person replied.

"This is really starting to worry me." Koi said. "If there is a parade, then why is it starting to get bad for us, but good for the other people?"

"Don't know…" Jordin replied.

Daichi then noticed that some of the people are on the edge of the street while he and his friends are on the sidewalk.

"Hey guys!" Daichi shouted. "Some of the folks here are on the streets…"

"Huh? Weird…" Koi said as he saw some of the people standing on the street as well. "Why is that, apparently?"

Jordin then heard drums.

"Guys, I hear drums!" Jordin shouted.

Yoshiro heard the drums too.

"I hear them too!" Yoshiro said as he then looked to his left to see the parade slowly marching up. "And I see the parade…"

"Ok, let's just pretend that we're enjoying it." Jordin said. "That's the plan."

They all agree as when they see the parade, it only consists of 3 people dressing in black.

"That's the parade?" Yoshiro said. "I was hoping for more than just 3 people."

Jordin then sees some of the folks standing on the street slowly following the parade.

"What's going on here?" Jordin wonders. "Those people… They are following the parade… And they were the ones standing on the street…"

"I'm gonna go use Living Things." Koi said as Living Things appeared. "I need to see what happens, but I can't be alone…"

"We'll be right behind you when stuff happens." Jordin said.

Following the parade, Koi uses Living Things to turn itself into one of the performers of the parade.

"Let's see what happens to those people…" Koi said. "And let's where this parade is going…"

Continuing to follow the parade and having Koi use Living Things to disguise itself as one of the performers, Jordin then noticed one of the other people following the parade was feeling a bit drowsy.

"Stop! One of them is acting strange." Jordin said.

Koi then saw the person slowly being stuck into the ground. A black substance then started to cover that person up, turning them into another member of the marching band.

"Holy shit!" Yoshiro shouted.

"No way! It turned that man into another performer! That parade is obviously a Stand!" Daichi shouted.

"Koi! Recall Living Things!" Jordin shouted as he saw Koi being unable to move. "Koi?!"

"G-Guys! Something is happening to Living Things!" Koi shouted. "It's already stuck on the street near the marching band!"
