Disclaimer: If I owned Barbie, I'd be a very rich woman and not a lazy student writing Octonauts fanfiction.
Apologies again for the long hiatuses, I've been working on other things and haven't had much motivation to write fanfiction.

It was the morning of May 20th; Deborah's nineteenth birthday.
Deborah was woken up by the Vegimals cheeping and chattering. They pushed onto her bed a scribbled card and a plate of kelp cakes with her favourite berry topping.
"I helped them with the kelp cakes, but they insisted on making the card themselves," said Shellington. Deborah sat up and he kissed her forehead.
"This is so nice," swooned Deborah, fawning over…well, everything! The visitors, the card, the special breakfast; she loved it all.

"So this is one of those Barbie movies, right?"
"Yup; it's my favourite."
Deborah had decided she wanted to watch movies for her birthday, so she set up to watch Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper and roped Captain Barnacles, Shellington, Tweak, Lekona, and Sarabi into watching it with her.
"So is this like the book?" Sarabi asked.
"Not really, but it's still good," said Deborah, bouncing in her seat.
The movie started, and once it was over, Deborah was happy as a peach, Captain Barnacles and Lekona were confused as to what the hell they'd just watched, Shellington was half asleep, and Tweak and Sarabi were swooning over the intense lesbian energy they had just witnessed.
"That was quite the movie there, princess," said Captain Barnacles.
Of course, they all liked it, and were willing to stay to follow it up with Barbie and the Diamond Castle.

THERE! I FINALLY GOT SOMETHING OUT!
Oh, and for the record, 12 Dancing Princesses is the best Barbie movie and you cannot change my mind about that.
