8:35 AM

He walked in, food in hand, fully expecting to see a dozing miko. His eyes fell on the giant pile of furs, and on the petite little human that sat gracefully in the center of them. The sight that greeted him though was not what he expected. His feet froze and his blood ran cold. His heart skipped a beat and he couldn't help the widening of his eyes as he took her in.

She sat there, covered in his fur. His Mokomoko had entangled itself around her entirely, giving her modesty and warmth. So preoccupied with his thoughts had he been that he had completely missed how his youki had blended with hers.

But it was impossible. She should not have been able to get a reaction out of his Mokomoko, there was simply no way. It would require an immense amount of youki energy to surpass his own, and even then, his Mokomoko was a literal extension of him, a part of his being. His Mokomoko was one hundred percent a part of his larger dog form, it was his Youkai, a part of him that reminded him who he was, what he was, and gave him strength.

That it would so willingly entwine itself to her was simply preposterous. But what other explanation was there? She could not have forced it into submission, he would not have missed that, no matter how distracted he was. Had she used her miko energy to coax it, it would have burned him too.

For some reason, his Mokomoko had actually chosen to wrap around this human woman, otherwise, it would have simply fallen off of her, but why? His beast snickered, 'You know why.'

'No.' He stopped the thought before it even formed.

His eyes kept traveling across her person, taking in the way it hugged her so intimately, and the way it shielded her naked form from his view. 'Blocked by my own tail. Fantastic.' He thought dryly. He would add this new mystery to the growing list he already had.

Finally getting over the initial shock of seeing her dressed in his fur, he began to appreciate the way it made her look wholly his. His gaze met her questioning eyes, and his blood seemed to heat up a little, enough to allow him to move.

"Sesshoumaru?" She asked timidly. "I hope you don't mind. I couldn't reach my clothes, and then I couldn't take this thing off…" She explained with a blush.

"Not at all." He said. Meaning it.

"...Are you sure?" She asked, understandably doubting him; after all, how many times had he been so shocked he couldn't even move.

"I am sure, now come." He replied.

She tried to get up but it was clear that her body was not responding as it should.

"Sore?" He asked.

She blushed a little and nodded. "Yeah, this...thing has really helped me relax," she said pointing to his Mokomoko, "but it would seem I am still not ready to move around so liberally."

He nodded in understanding and said, "In that case, I will come to you." He made his way to the bed, careful not to drop the food.

She stared at him abashed. "Thank you." She took the offered fish and berries and proceeded to eat in silence.
