- Hours later –

Law's chest was heaving, his head pounding from the impact of a sword coming down on his head. They were all in bad shape – fighting for hours with severe injuries. Xander was the same – he looked fatigued with deep wounds, but he still stood proud. They had seemed to reach a standstill. They were somewhat taking it in turns, working rotationally to allow them time to recuperate. But they couldn't carry on like this – they needed to gain an edge.

They almost didn't notice the confident tapping of shoes against the marble flooring. Xander's dark face seemed to upturn into a taunting smirk.

"You came back to me by yourself this time?" He laughed loudly "What a good girl I've raised"

Law's eyes widened in shock horror as he saw Leila re-enter the throne room, her limbs now free of sea stone. Her cheek had darkened into a purple bruise and her clothes were barely tied together, scraps of material falling off her.

"Why?!" Law shouted at her, anger rising up inside of him. They had fought so hard to give her time to flee – time for her to get away, and yet she had come back.

Zoro's gaze turned into a subtle glare towards Xander, his defense doubling at the entrance of Leila. She looked towards Law with a slightly dazed gaze, confusing him and sending alarm bells in his head. Yet, she gave him a subtle smile and nodded, as if telling him 'good job'.

Suddenly, Luffy got sent pummeling into the wall by Xander, who had seemingly been re-inspired at the sight of Leila. She met his gaze dangerously, taking a step towards him.

"What the fuck is she doing?!" Zoro hissed, picking up his swords. Law couldn't answer him. He had no idea. Zoro raced towards Xander – the clashing of skilled swordsmanship filling the room once more.

"Why even bother fighting if she's returned to my side?" Xander scoffed at the young men, giving a look of disgusting pity.

Leila continued to step towards him, her gaze intensifying as her golden eyes shimmered and transitioned into a darker red. Zoro's breathing hitched at the sight, chills running up his body and making the hair stand on the back of his neck. Her devil fruit abilities sprouted out from her beaten body, small horns coming out of her head and her long skinny tail sprouting – spearing through her clothes at the tip. Xander watched her, entranced.

"Wow, it's been a while since I've seen that" He whistled in appreciation, as if he was looking at a treasured jewel. "What you going to do? Fight me, my dear?"

Leila remained silent but came to a standstill, her eyes watching him intently as her tail swished attentively. She resembled a lion, watching its prey and planning her next move.

Law and Zoro didn't know what to do – Xander had stopped fighting and was entranced by the young woman before him. They were on their highest guard. Luffy knelt at the back, wiping his forehead as he looked up to see the situation.

Xander made quick movements towards her, grabbing ahold of her forearm and beginning to drag her back to his side. Law was up in an instant, his room enveloping the marble room. Suddenly, the room was hit by a red aura – the air seemingly condensing for a moment, searing pain applying to everyone's orifices. But it ended as quickly as it came. Luffy spluttered, staying back, for once, as he looked back up to watch his friend. Once everyone had overcome the momentary agony – they were snapped back to reality by a blood curtling shout from Xander. He had collapsed onto his knees, clutching at his shoulder. His remaining arm had been severed, making a sickening thud as it dropped to the floor – splattering red across the white flooring.

Xander glared at Leila with furious intent, snarling as he pushed himself onto his legs once again. "You little bitch…you didn't even summon any weapon. How did yo-"

Leila's head cocked questioningly. "Why are you so surprised?"

Xander stayed silent, watching her as Leila circled around him. Her lips upturned into a crooked smile and her eyes seemed to sparkle like ruby jewels. Her horns had seemingly grown, now with spikes and scales. Her tail likewise, was no longer rounded at the end but speared and scaly. This was different from anything Law had seen. It was wrath no doubt, dark red bloodlust radiated off of her. Law wasn't sure if he was seeing things, but he was sure she had an actual red glow around her. Her tail swished around Xander tauntingly; even he seemed to be stunned, almost shaky. He was so close to her he was enveloped in her red glow.

Xander tried to push himself onto his legs but with unexplainable strength she had pushed him back down to the floor with one hand on his shoulder.

"Now now…" She grinned, her ruby eyes dazzling. She bent down to Xander's ear. "Which limb should I take from you next?"

Xander's eyes widened and he turned to face the young woman he had taught mostly every battle technique. As he looked up at her, he noted every wound and cut she had was producing blood droplets that were drifting around her body in slow, tranceful motions. At closer inspection of her face, she was blushed a light pink and was practically twitching from excitement.

"Ahh~ Your legs are next I suppose…" She giggled, her hands coming up to her cheeks as her eyes widened and her tongue came out to lick at her bloody lip.

"Y-you're a fucking monster" Xander shook, somehow he couldn't regain control over his body, his emotions. The air around him was stifling; his eyes felt like they were burning, his skin prickled as if there were a billion needles slowly pressing into him.

"Now, that's not very kind" She pouted, bending down in front of him. "You're the one who made me like this after all"

Xander watched as the blood droplets floating around her suddenly charged at his left leg, severing it as if it were the sharpest blade. He screamed in agony, not even having any arms left to clutch at the bleeding wound. Leila smiled at him, as if he were a child complaining about a scrape.

Zoro took a step back, his eyes widened as he watched his dear friend turn into a bloodthirsty psychopath. He wasn't sure whether he should stop her or not. It seemed like this is what she had needed all along – a twisted sort of revenge. But when she regains her composure – what would she think of her actions? He took a step towards her but Law gripped onto his wrist tightly.

"Don't interfere" Law warned, watching her warily.

"Tora-o…can't you see she's not in her right mind? This could go wrong in an instant"

"No, she's got control of it" Law said, not quite believing it himself. Zoro turned back to look at her, torturing Xander in their own manipulative way.

"Can't you see she's putting her bloodlust aura on him?" Law whispered. "Yet it's not reaching us, it's only around them"

Zoro's eyes widened as he realized Law was right. She actually had some sort of control – although she had seemingly lost her mind in the midst of it.

Xander watched in horror as the blood from his leg seemingly began to float towards her – her hand guiding it upwards as it merged with the many droplets surrounding her.

"What should we do? You only have one limb left…" She spoke sadly as she looked down at his final leg.

"F-fuck" Xander coughed, his heart struggling as he continued to lose tremendous amounts of blood.

"Hey" Leila spoke, her voice commanding and threatening. Xander's met her ruby eyes briefly. "You're not allowed to pass out. I'm nowhere near done with you"

Law began to back out of the room as he saw her mood worsen, he had a bad feeling. "Luffy, Zoro. Let's go. Now"

"Are you insane? Ho-" Zoro began to protest when he realized she had just severed his final leg. There was not much Xander could do to her at this point, even if they were alone together.

Leila glanced behind her as she saw her friends leave the room and she seemed to nod in satisfaction. "Ahh~ Finally, I don't have to hold back anymore"

As Law walked out of the throne room he saw her red aura expand massively, incorporating the majority of the throne room as the white marble tiles slowly turned to a dark red. It had puddled from underneath her feet, slowly reaching further and further away from her body, tile by tile until it reached the walls, the ceiling and turned the whole room scarlet.

Luffy stood stunned and utterly confused. "What's she doing?"

"I think…she's awakening" Law murmured.

Leila continued in her onslaught until Xander's screams of agony went quiet. Even then, she only left the throne room ten minutes later.
