Chapter 46.

(Harry POV)

It has been a while since I went to Gringotts so, I headed there. Where Griphook saw me and took me straight to Ragnok.

"Ragnok, Still looking good," I said.

"As are you, Harry," Ragnok said.

"So why did Griphook bring me here then?" I said.

"Since you were last here, we made a progress, And we found something you should know," Ragnok said.

"Don't keep the Suspense, Ragnok, Tell me already," I said.

"We found 5 out of 6 Horcruxs to who," Ragnok said.

"Voldemort aka Tom Riddle. Nice, But did we know what is the last one," I said.

"A guess but we believe it is his pet snake, Nagini," Ragnok said.

"Great another snake, He tried that once before with a Basilisk," I said.

"A Basilisk," Ragnok said.

"Oh yeah, I freed her before I came here for the First time, When we started planning Dumbledore going down," I said.

"Nice, Well more good news, Dumbledore has no authority anymore but he is still headmaster of Hogwarts. Which was Fudge's doing," Ragnok said.

"That is the same piece of shit minister which tried not to let Sirius get a trail right," I said as Ragnok nodded. "Why the hell is he still minister, He is useless,"

"No Idea," Ragnok said.

"Any else new," I said.

"Not yet," Ragnok said.

"You know how to reach me then," I said.

"Oh I will," Ragnok said.

Then I left. Where I ran into Tracey.

"Oh, Tracey," I said.

"Harry," Tracey said hugging me. "Where have you been?"

"Cardiff," I said.

Then my vortex beeped.

"What's that," Tracey said.

As I opened it and Jack showed up.

"Jack, what is it?" I said.

"Harry, Get back to the HAB you going want to hear what we just found in a Truck accident," Jack said.

"On my way," I said. As Jack vanished.

"What," Tracey said.

"Got to go, See you around Tracey," I said. Setting the coordinates for my Tardis and transported there where I ran for the entrance and down the lift into the HAB.

"Jack," I said.

"Over here," Jack said as I went over and there was this big piece of meat.

"Wow, That's not Earth meat," I said.

"That was I was thinking," Jack said.

"Owen What you got," I said.

"There's evidence of a vertebral column but it's genetic make up isn't compatible with any known animal," Owen said.

"Any idea what it is," Jack said.

"I'll scan it but whoever's farming this meat knows it's dodgy, See this, Official Vet stamp, Fit for human consumption, It's fake, good but fake," Owen said.

"Tosh, get onto the haulage firm, Find out where the meat is from," Jack said.

"Why did it have to be Rhys Firm?" Gwen said. "It's too close for home,"

"Want to stand down," I said.

"No I want to find out what's going on," Gwen said. "Thank you Ianto,"

"Catchy," Ianto said.

"Do you think the Haulage firm are in on it?" Tosh said.

"Rhys? No," Gwen said. "He just hires the vans out,"

"Driver must have seen it loaded," Ianto said.

"That doesn't implicate Rhys. He's the most honest man I know," Gwen said.

"Have you got his direct line," Tosh said.

Then Called it.

"It's firm is called Harries and Harries, They came to us 2 months back, It's a weekly contract," Rhys said.

"Are they Licensed?" Tosh said.

"Of course," Rhys said.

"Could you give me their address?" Tosh said.

"All I've got is a service station on the A470," Rhys said. "15 miles from Cardiff,"

"Do you have a contact number," Tosh said.

"No there's no Contact number either," Rhys said.

"Can you tell me where your driver took the meat?" Tosh said.

"Yes he was taking it to Caerwen Abattoir," Rhys said. "It's a processing plant, Just general meat suppliers,"

"What time did the driver leave base?" Tosh said.

"Signed out at 10 to 1," Rhys said. "Can I ask what this is about?"

"I can't release that information sir, Thank you," Tosh said.

Hanging up.

"Got him," Ianto said. "There he is coming back 40 minutes later,"

"So it takes 20 minutes to load. 10 miles radius," I said.

"Jack, Harry," Owen said.

"Yeah," I said.

"The shows it's definitely alien meat," Owen said.

"Where would they get it from?" Jack said.

"From the processing plant, it'll going into pies, burgers pasties, everything," Tosh said.

"That means we been eating this for months," I said.

"Well, the DNA Traces are stable, There are signs of Animal sedative, but no diseases or residues, My guess is it's good to eat," Owen said.

"Would you eat it," Gwen said.

"Pizza's arrived, I presumed it would be a late one," Ianto said.

"What did you get me?" Owen said.

"Usual, Meat feast," Ianto said.

"Lovely," Owen said.

"I've narrowed it down to 3 potential areas, only one warehouse is unoccupied, Just outside Merthyr," Ianto said.

"Makes sense who know what goes on there," Owen said.

"We have to shut the operation down, Neutralise whoever's doing this and identify the Alien meat," I said.

"Tosh, you co-ordinate," Jack said.

"I have to slip home check on Rhys," Gwen said.

"Good idea find out how much he knows," Jack said.

"Not what I meant," Gwen said.

Then She left.

After a while Jack and I was on the lift as Gwen come over again and we stepped off.

"Like I thought he has no idea what's going on," Gwen said.

"Then let's go," I said.

"Would you care to accompany me to the Slaughterhouse?" Jack said.

"Have you ever eaten alien meat?" Gwen said.

"Yeah," Jack said.

"Oh no," I said.

"What was it like?" Gwen said.

"He seemed to enjoy it," Jack said.

"I blooding knew it, I knew he would make that joke," I said

Then We got to the SUV and drove there.

"Ianto, Owen, we're on our way," Jack said.

"How are things looking at the Slaughterhouse," I said.

"It's all quiet, there's a deserted road, I'll direct you in," Ianto said.

"Ianto, nearly there," Jack said.

"Take the second turn in, park on the left, No one will see the car there," Ianto said. "There a main entrance at the front, It's the only one open, the rest are padlocked and alarmed,"

"How many are in there?" I said.

"It's difficult to tell, there are no windows," Owen said.

"I have the blueprints of the warehouse. The stock has to be in the central area. Having fun," Tosh said.

"You don't know what you're missing," Ianto said.

"According to the sensor, there's a heat signature across the entire building," Owen said.

"That's a lot of meat," I said.

"You 2 take the sides, Gwen and I will go the front, Harry stay with the car in case we need a getaway," Jack said.

"We don't want any casualties, we stun gun whoever's in there and put a stop to what they're doing," I said.

"Let's go," Jack said passing the keys to me and then I got into the driver seat.

After a minute.

"Ianto, Owen stand down," Jack said. "Repeat stand down,"

"Jack what's going on?" I said.

"I'll fill you in a bit," Jack said.

After a bit we were back at the Hab as Gwen took off.

Then We found out Gwen told him everything about Torchwood. And was bring him here.

"So this is a turn of event boyfriend finding out," Ianto said.

"Mainly because we're all sad and single," Tosh said.

"Speak for yourself," Owen said. "I'm better off without all that kind of hassle,"

"Maybe the answer is to go out with someone who knows what you do," Tosh said.

"Look around you Tosh only we know what we do," Owen said.

Then the lift activated.

And Headed over.

Then Myfanwy Flew over.

"Whoa," Rhys said. "That looked so real,"

"It was real," Gwen said.

"They Extinct, Gwen," Rhys said.

"In this time, Yes, They are, Oi Girl what are you doing," I said as Myfanwy screeched back. "I'll be there in a bit girl," As Myfanwy screeched and flew off.

"What," Rhys said.

"Oh, I can understand her, Long story," I said.

"Captain Jack Harkness, Thanks for dropping in Rhys," Jack said.

"Jack, Don't start that again," I said.

"What I'm just saying hello," Jack said. "Just like your old man, you know that right,"

"Yeap," I said.

"This is the rest of the Team, Harry, Owen, Toshiko, Ianto," Gwen said.

"Pleased to meet you," Rhys said.

"Welcome to our Headquarters,"

"It's a bit bigger than mine," Rhys said.

"Can we not go there," I said.

"So Gwen tells me you catch aliens," Rhys said.

"That's right," I said. "There a Rift of Space and time runs through Cardiff and stuff falls in from other Timelines and Planets,"

"And It's our job to monitor it," Owen said.

"Are you sure they're not some kind of weird cult?" Rhys said.

"Just Owen, Not us," I said.

"Hey," Owen said.

"What. I joking," I said.

"Asshole," Owen said.

"I know you are," I said.

"You saw that Alien in the warehouse, come on," Gwen said.

"What did you see," Jack said.

"It was this huge, shapeless beast, filling the space, A mound of flesh," Rhys said.

"So it's one entity as opposed to several organisms," Tosh said.

"The tests reveal high levels of Chloride, so it probably lives in the water," Owen said. "I reckon it came through the rift, into the sea and beached itself,"

"Like a giant alien Manatee," Jack said.

"But how did they get it to the warehouse, without anyone seeing it. And that warehouse is 50 meters long," I said.

"Maybe it was smaller when they found it, They said it's growing," Rhys said.

"What, It isn't dead," I said.

"No, it's breathing, It's eye opened," Rhys said.

"So the protein chains regenerate despite the mutilation, Not only is it replenishing it's own flesh but it's increasing it giving them a brand new meat supply," Owen said.

"It will last for years," Gwen said.

"If we knew how it worked, we could feed the world," Tosh said.

"What," I said.

"And the fact that they're cutting it up alive which we could have put a stop t if it wasn't for you," Jack said.

"I thought my fiancée was in danger," Rhys said.

"Well, Mr. Cavemen she wasn't she can handle herself," Jack said.

"Jack," Gwen said.

"All you did was mess things up and now they would have tighten security," I said.

"Well, if you stopped and if you asked me what I saw in there, instead of showing off around the place," Rhys said.

"I don't show off, I know exactly what I'm doing but all no someone there just had to show up and screw the plan," I said.

"Enough, Team meeting you too," Jack said.

We finally got things on the road but Jack had me staying at the Hab, But when they got back, I found out that Rhys was shot and then Owen killed it. Mercy killed. Owen fix Rhys up as I headed for the Tardis.
