Author's Note: Hey my fellow descenders, I'm back from my long hiatus. I swear, I'm really becoming like some of these shows that take so long to get their next seasons out lol. I apologize for the delay, but after Christmas, I became really busy, saving money, getting hours and possibly trying to move out by the summer, but here I am now with the first of the final 5 chapters to this very long story. Hope you can take the time to enjoy this one as things get intense with the True Believers and with Mordo, who looks to be succeeding in his conquest to take over Auradon. What happens next? Chapter 46: The Battle for Auradon Part 1
Later at Corona Towers in the suite
It's has been almost an hour since Quincy has departed from his former teammates under the influence of Baron Mordo, who was put a spell on Quincy's family jewel to make him do what he wants him to do. The True Believers went back to their suite in defeat with Lumière, Cogsworth, Stan Lee and Steve Ditko waiting for them. Furthermore, the teen heroes are unsure what their next plan of action is. All some can feel is anger, resentment, fear, even hopeless.
"What was that all about?!" Freddie shouted at Audrey.
"What are you yelling at me for?!" Audrey shouted back.
"I'm yelling cause you nearly got Eliza killed just a while ago!"
"I saw an opening, I didn't think it would be like this!"
"That's the thing, you weren't thinking! You were just thinking about yourself like always! It's either your way or the highway and you sure proved your point, Eliza's ashes would've been flying in the sky if Freddie hadn't step in!" Mal said
"I-
"It was reckless, you should've trusted the plan." Evie said.
"I didn't trust her part for a reason." Audrey said.
"Cause you think she'll steal your thunder like she did years ago?" Jay said.
Audrey gasped then the rest of the AKs gasped.
"Eliza told us what happened." Jay said.
"Since she was the only one willing to tell us what went down." Evie said to everyone else, especially while looking at Doug, who was back to normal.
"She hurt you, we get it. It was probably hard to talk about." Carlos said.
"We understand she deceived you, in more ways than one." Jay said.
"We get it if you never wanna forgive her after everything she's done, especially you Trevor." Freddie said to him.
"I don't, and honestly, I can't see for myself to ever forgive her. My parents got a lot of crap for defending me, some charities don't want nothing to do with us. I had to go to school the west side of Auradon. Soon as I started there, everyone was giving me the side eye and kept their distance. I was barely making any friends, and when I joined their tourney team, not one of my teammates included me in anything! Eventually, I lost touch with the only friends I had at Auradon Prep who knew the truth because I was so depressed about being treated like a criminal. You ruined my life while you were out there with your modeling, your tv appearances and your budding music career knowing what you did and not seeing yourself as a monster." Trevor said shedding a tear with an angry look.
Everyone looked at him with shock, absorbing this new information.
"Trevor, we had no idea." Jordan said.
"You really went through all that?" Chad said.
"I'm so sorry." Freddie said putting her hand on his shoulder.
"You think I don't see myself as a monster? I know what I did and eventually I regretted every single choice I made. You guys treated me like actual friends and I betrayed your trust. I was doing it to be famous, to let the world know what I'm truly made of and I'm disgusted with it. I didn't realize how terrible I was until after I broke up with Mitch. I was just using him like I was using all of you. And when I tried to talk to Alana, she was so upset when she learned about everything I did."
"Yeah, when she called me asking about Trevor, I told her the truth. She was not happy with any of it." Jordan said.
"That's part of what she said. She said a lot of things to me that day, I paid no mind to it until I went to this party with some models and I found out I've nothing in common with them. All they talk about is getting married to rich guys and living as housewives. I was bored and lonely, so what Alana said to me really sunk in and I was feeling even more regret than before. When I was recording a song for a movie coming out, that's when I was starting to feel sick. My aunt Anna had Alana watch over me, but I knew she wasn't in the mood to speak to me. As she was getting my medicine, I started sneezing tiny snowmen. Alana saw and they eventually melted, so then we got to talking and figured out I got my mom's powers. She agreed to help keep it a secret while we get my powers under control and also to help me make amends with you. I asked Alana if she can talk to Ben about it."
"She did, when I was at her ice cream shop." Ben said.
"She then told me you were heading to Marvel Con and I knew I had to come. Trevor coming was an added bonus since I really own him an apology and cause him a lot of grieve. I wasn't sure how to make up for everything, so I thought saying sorry was a start." Eliza said.
"You think that's the start for ruining my life?! You haven't even begun!" Trevor yelled.
"I realized that." Eliza said tearing up.
"I don't think you do." Trevor said. "And don't even try to relate what I've gone through."
"I'm not saying I relate to it, all I'm saying is to know that I'm going to at least try to make it up to you. To all of you." Eliza went to Trevor to everyone.
"We can work this out after we save Auradon cause now Mordo's out there with our friend under his control and he one of the most powerful." Jay says.
"And we need all hands on deck." Mal said.
Mal holds Eliza's hand and walks her towards Ben and Audrey.
"At least let me start by helping you save Quincy." Eliza said. "After this, you'll never have to speak to me again."
Ben and Audrey looked at each other before looking back at her.
"Well, if I never have to see you again, I guess I can tolerate you for a little while longer." Audrey said.
"You did hurt us, me even, I know that for a fact, but we do need all the help we can get and I appreciate you willing to help us." Ben said.
Eliza sighs, "Thank you, Ben."
"Hmph." Audrey grunts while looking away.
"Audrey, I'm really sorry. I was doing what I thought was best for me, but the whole time I didn't see how good I had it until it was too late. If things were different back then, we really could've been the best of friends up to now. I know how important that competition was to you and I let it come between us. Things were never the same that day and I've regretted every moment I took advantage of you. I don't blame you for never forgiving me, even I wouldn't. I just hope there will be a day when you can accept my apology."
Audrey gives her a hard look for a minute before finally speaking.
"Well you can keep dreaming, Ice Princess, because there will never be a day where I can forgive someone who betrayed me and took something I've been wanting for a lifetime. I've been dreaming of being famous ever since I was a little girl and that contest would've changed everything for me, but no! You had to steal it from me right under my nose and made me look like an idiot. I've been antisocial and binge-eating ice cream in my dorm room for a month straight before my real friends finally got me out. I hated what you turned me into and for the all the mess you caused! So no, I will never in my life forgive you. So for now, I'll put aside my differences but not for you, for Quincy, cause he's more of a friend to me than you ever were and he's from the Isle of the Lost. Then after that, I'm not speaking to you ever again! "
Eliza looks down to the floor then looks up after a second.
"I understand. Thank you for that though." Eliza said. "And Herkie, I didn't forget about you. I'm sorry for the test answers."
"Mr. Richards was being even harder on me since that test fiasco, so I'm still peed off about it." Herkie said.
"Don't forget about my lamp and my filming equipment your boyfriend destroyed. Took me months to get everything replaced." Jordan said.
"Ex-boyfriend and yes, I remembered and I'm so sorry." Eliza said. "And before you mention it, sorry for Mitch ruining your mascot uniform, Jane. And sorry for him and Jeff poisoning your band mates, Doug."
"I did the split by accident and that went it came apart. Someone took a pic a me and posted it with #RustySplit." Jane said.
"My band mates were stuck on the toilet for nearly two weeks." Doug mentions.
"All these things should never have happened. I was in love and selfish, that's no excuse." Eliza said.
"But at least you're trying to make amends, that's what counts." Evie said.
"So we don't have time to dwell on the past. They're a crazy madman from a comic book ready to take over Auradon, possibly the world and Ben's right, we need all the help we can get, so squash the beef right now and help come with a plan to stop Mordo before it's too late!" Mal said.
"But what can we do?" Jane asked. "He's already tough enough without Quincy under his spell and we couldn't even take him down the last time."
"Even I got burned." Jordan raised her arms showing the bandages.
"He burned nearly half of us." Aziz said.
"We don't even know where he's going to now." Ally said.
"I think I might." Stan Lee said when he stood up from a chair.
"How could you know?" Chad asked.
"Kid, I've come face to face with Mordo back then, I was the one who created him after all." Stan Lee said.
"Oh yeah." Chad said embarrassed.
"We created him." Steve corrected.
"Anyways, Me and Steve created him to be one of the villains for Doctor Strange, and also his thirst for power. He, like any other supervillain, wants to make a stand at a higher point, mainly his future throne."
Ben thinks it over and immediately knows the answer.
"You don't mean…" Ben says.
"There's a reason why the expression "history repeats itself" exist." Stan said.
"I need to make a call!" Ben said before walking off with his phone next to his ear.
"What's he talking about?" Mal asks.
"Where was the last place Mordo was at before he was sucked into the comic?" Stan Lee asked.
Then Mal remembers the story he told everyone.
"He's going back to Beast's castle just like before!" Mal said.
"I hope my mom got that second case ready, I should probably call her to make sure." Jane said as she pulls out her phone and calls her mother.
"I told my dad, he's gonna have guards surrounding our home." Ben said.
"Um, I don't think it's just your dad's castle that we need to worry about." Chad said.
"What'd you mean?" Ben said.
"Look." Chad said as he turns the volume up on the news.
"This is Snow White reporting from the Auradon Convention Center where strange weather is taking place, but I hear from other sources that comic book villain Baron Mordo is marching his army during his conquest for Auradon and they're marching castle to castle to claim all territory and land to complete his quest."
A small square on Snow White's left is showing the Mindless Ones storming Rapunzel's castle as the guards were defending against the creatures.
"As you can see, live footage from Corona are these huge rock monsters marching inside, marching past or through anyone, including the guards, who're in the way."
The footage next shows the same thing happening in Camelot.
"Oh no." Steve Ditko said. "It's not just the King's castle, Mordo's going all out."
"Back then, he was acting alone, but now that he has backup, the outcome's increased." Stan Lee said.
The footage is now showing Naveen's and Tiana's castle also being stormed by the Mindless Ones.
Trevor gasps, "No!"
"Your parents!" Ally said.
Trevor's parents were surrounded by them while Naveen was holding Tiana close.
Now the footage was showing Prince Charming having Cinderella behind him while he points his sword at the creatures.
"Not my parents too!" Chad said. "Mom, Dad!"
"They got my parents cornered too!" Aziz said.
The footage did show Aladdin and Jasmine being taken hostage by the same rock creatures. Seeing his parents in trouble's gotten him frustrated, angry even. So angry that suddenly, the water he was holding in a cup being to move without him shaking it. He even saw it for a second before it stopped moving.
"What the…?" He said.
I think it's safe to say Mordo's gotten to all the royals of Auradon and taken them hostage." Mal said.
As Mal said that, footages in Ariel's and Eric's castle, Imperial Palace and even Arendelle are showing the same thing happening to the kings and queens, princes and princesses, even emperors and empresses being overruned by the Mindless Ones.
"It's only a matter of time before Mordo has control over all of Auradon." Carlos said.
"He'll be the most powerful villain to ever existed." Doug said.
"Not if we can help it." Jay said.
"We're going to have to divide and conquer to stand a chance against them." Ben said.
"It appears now that all of the royals are at the mercy of Baron Mordo, who if anyone remembers, he tried to do the same thing back in the day nearly 21 years ago when he was on top of Beast's and Belle's castle." Snow White said.
She was listening to her earpiece as someone was saying something important.
"I just received word that Baron Mordo has just made to that same castle I just mentioned. We now go love with the news chopper. Sam, you're on."
"Thank you, Snow! What you're now seeing is those rock creatures marching past the guards as they try to stop them from entering the castle. Baron Mordo is just standing in midair on what appears to be a green disk." Sam said.
Mordo's grin got even wider as his rock army easily overthrows the guards and busts through the doors where they manage to march all over the place. Eventually, they found Beast and Belle in their study.
"Ahhh!" Belle screamed.
"Belle, get behind me!" Beast said.
"Sweetie, no!"
Beast roared at them and tries to stop at least one of them, but he got outnumbered and got thrown across the room.
Belle gasps.
"Stop this!" Belle said.
They picked him up and got to Belle right after. They took them out to the balcony in their arms and Mordo couldn't be more thrilled.
"Yes, Yes! I did it! I've waited for this exact moment that I, Baron Mordo have finally reach my destination!" Mordo said.
He notices the news chopper and made his way up to them.
"This is live, right?" He asks.
"Y-yes?" Sam said.
"Perfect, now aim for my good side."
Sam has the cameraman beside him focus on Mordo as he cleared his throat.
"People of Auradon! Your new king has arrived and I've just proved just how superior I am. As you just witnessed, I've overthrown your precious king and queen!" Mordo said.
"Excuse me, sir. If you don't mind, their son is king now." Sam explained.
"What mockery…?" Mordo exclaimed. "Ugh, well it has been over 20 years, so I shouldn't be surprised." He says to himself.
"Well, wherever he is and just in case he's watching, if you value your mother and father's lives and want to fight for your throne, I'll be here waiting for you while I figure out how to redecorate my new home and what punishment should your parents face while I'm at it. Whether you show up or cower, it's still a win-win scenario, so no need to rush, cause I've already won, Hahahahahahaha."
As he sees the evil laugh by Mordo and his parents being held hostage, he growls at the screen with ferocity.
"We'll save them, Ben." Mal said as she held his hand and stroke it with her thumb.
"I know we will, we have to. We can't let him win or let him hurt anyone else." Ben said.
He turns around to face everyone.
"Like I said before, we have to divide and conquer, take back a couple of castles at a time. And then we reach for Mordo." Ben said.
"Right!" Everyone says.
"And we'll save everyone, Quincy and our parents included. Mordo may have an army, but we got each other and our friendships and relationships are more than enough to take him down." Mal said.
Ben smiles at Mal's statement. She pulls Ben to the center and stuck her hand out.
"Are you with us?" She asks.
"You even have to ask?" Evie said putting her hand on top.
"Or us." Jay said patting Carlos on the back as they both stuck out their hands as well.
Soon everyone follow suit
Soon everyone follow suit and all their hands are top of each other's.
"For Auradon!" Mal said.
"For Auradon!" Everyone raised their hand up.
Just then, Lonnie had her two middle bend down like an old habit and web fluid came directly out of her wrist and hit the ceiling.
Lonnie gasps at the sight. As did everyone else when they saw it happen to.
"Lonnie, how'd you do that?" Jordan asks.
"I…don't know. My web shooters were busted, so I'm not sure how that's possible." Lonnie said.
"That's what I was thinking." Trevor said.
"Wait a minute." Jay said. "When you were trying to get that Blood Gem away from Mordo, you were glowing red for a moment. Maybe that did something?"
"Yeah….Maybe it must've given me a new power,a new same realistic power." Lonnie said.
"Wow, that's one powerful gem." Evie said.
"Hey, didn't you also glow, Aziz?" Mal asked Aziz.
"Yeah, I did." Aziz said as he remembered what happened with his water. "And I did I just find out what that is."
"You think it can help?" Herkie asked.
"If I focus enough, I think it can." Aziz said with confidence.
"That's good enough. So are we ready?" Mal said.
"You bet we are!" Chad said.
"Then let's get to work!" Ben said. "I have a plan!"
"I was hoping you said that." Chad said.
"Ok then. Gather around." Ben said with a smirk.
Author's Note: Ok, things are gonna get interesting from this point on. And new powers are in play so the odds are looking great for our True Believers.
