I got a call from Jack and the found a body. So I went to the Hab and headed in.
"What we got?" I said.
"Documents on the body identify the victim as Meredith Roberts," Jack said.
"No obvious signs of violence," Owen said.
"So this wasn't a weevil?" I said.
"Give me a chance I've only just started," Owen said.
"Jack your VIP visitor is here," Ianto said on the Com.
"I didn't realise we were having a visitor," Gwen said.
"Suddenly, in an underground mortuary, on a wet night in Cardiff as hear the second part of a nightingale," Jack said. "You going to love this,"
"Jack, Wait, No," I said.
"Oh yes," Jack said.
Then Martha came in.
"What are you doing here," I said heading over.
"Oh missed you too," Martha said as She hugging me before kissing me.
"Oh I missed you," I said.
"Better have," Martha said.
"Oi where's mine," Jack said.
As Martha hugging Jack.
"Oh it's good to see you, Jack," Martha said.
"Toshiko, Owen, Gwen, Ianto, Meet Martha," I said.
"Just a casual visit Or," Owen said.
"I'm here to complete your post-mortem," Martha said.
"Martha is from UNIT," I said.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I get a bit confused which one's UNIT?" Gwen said.

"I identified a pattern from UNIT's Data on sudden deaths, toxic shock nothing to link the victims, Different ages, sexes, ethnic origins, occupations, But there was a statistically significant concentration in South Wales," Martha said.
"Come on, Martha," I said.
"You came all this way to see me," Jack said.

"They were being written off as suicides or accidents," Martha said. "Look, Puncture mark, Hypodermic needle, You'll find his bloodstream was pumped full of ammonium hydroxide,"
"Bloodstream, I was going to do that next," Owen said.
"Have you checked his medical records?" Martha said.
"I was just about to," Owen said.
"Let's give it a go, you never know Owen you might learn something," Martha said.
Then We went and Tosh started to search.
"One Meredith Roberts, Age 45," Owen said.
"I know there's been a major crash on the NHS System, Wiped a shedload of files," Tosh said.
"Including all the victims I flagged up from the UNIT Data and Now yours," Martha said.
"That's deliberate, Computer crash doesn't delete data so cleanly, Someone deleting," I said.
"Let me look into it," Tosh said.
Then Martha, Jack and I went into our office.
"So how's the family?" I said.
"Getting better, send their love," Martha said.
"Give them ours," I said.
"So end of the world survivors Club," Jack said.
"God am I so glad to see you," Martha said.
"See you did come all this way to just see me, It's the jaw line, Once seen, always yearned for," Jack said.
"Nope, Came to see Harry," Martha said. Sitting down on me.
"Missed you too," I said.
"Do you missed him," Jack said.
"No I made my choice," Martha said. "Maybe sometimes,"
"Ah," Jack said.
"Tiny bit, Tiny," Martha said. "I've got plenty to use my time,"
"Oh yeah, miss Highfalutin, What is it? Medical officer?" Jack said.
"Oh yes," Martha said.
"So do I have to call you ma'am," Jack said.
"No, Just follow my orders to the letter," Martha said.
"You could of called me if you were looking for a job," I said.
"I wasn't, This woman from UNIT rang out of the blue, Said I was just what they needed, that I'd come highly recommended by an impeccable source," Martha said.
"Dad," I said.
"Well, who else would have done it," Martha said.
"He must have thought he owed you a favour," Jack said.
"We all do," I said. "Where you staying,"
"No idea," Martha said.
"Well, not anymore, We'll had back to mine," I said.
"Do you think you could get me one of those white caps for personal use? Ianto might look good in it," Jack said.
"Jack," I said.
"You want uniforms get your own, Now am I going to get the guided tour?" Martha said.
"Yes, Ma'am, whatever you say, Ma'am," Jack said.
"Leave it," Martha said.
"So that's the hot house the tour continues this way, Ladies no dawdling," Jack said.
As We headed out.
Then Noticed Martha and Gwen chatting.
"OI, you talking about me?" Jack said.
"No. no, We were just discussing alien flora, Weren't we?" Gwen said.
"Oh yeah," Martha said.
"She's no fun, raise your game, girls," Jack said. Heading on.
"Nice one you 2," I said.
"You've got some well weird kit, What's this," Martha said.
"Be careful it's an alien artefact," Jack said.
"There's a lot of argument about this, But for my money, It's got to be a surgical instrument," Owen said.
"Really," Martha said.
"He's guess typical, Medic," I said.
"Well, I call it a singularity scalpel, See what it does concentrates energy on a tiny fixed point without damaging anything on the way," Owen said.
"Remember the last time you did that," I said.
Then Owen did it and it ended up blowing up something near Ianto.
"Jack, Harry," Ianto said. "There's been another attack, Assault with a hypodermic. Only this time, Victim survived, Woman, aged 27 she's in the hospital, Medical records wiped just like the others,"
"Gwen, Jack, Martha get over there, Owen Get on those test on the bloodstream done," I said.

"Locally, we've got a murder victim and a survivor," Jack said. "Both attacked with hypodermics, both with their medical records wiped,"
"And more cases across the UK, We think the point of the attacks is to destroy evidence of their medical condition," Martha said.
"Gwen, Ianto, Pursue the criminal investigation," I said.
"Ok," Gwen said.
"Martha, Owen follow up the medical side," I said.
"Fine," Owen said.
"Tosh, Any luck with retrieving those medical records?" I said.
"Not yet," Tosh said. "I'm gonna have to dig down into the system memories, see if I can find any remnants of deleted or temporary files, Completely illegal of course,"
"Doesn't matter, Do whatever you have to, We're not dealing with a freak with some needle fetish, This is a conspiracy," I said. "Let's get going,"

"This folks is a molecular mode of the drug that we found in Marie's blood," Owen said.
"She called it Reset," Martha said.
"What does it do," I said.
"Think about when you run a virus scan through your computer, yeah, The software works it way though the files and when it finds a trojan or a virus or whatever identifies it and then deletes it," Owen said.
"And that stuff is doing that to the human body," I said.
"Exactly, Not just viruses, It's harmful bacteria, toxins, even mutant cells you name it, It's like the body's been turned back to its factory settings," Owen said.
"It's the ultimate magic bullet, supersedes anything and everything in the pharmacological armoury," Martha said.
"But that would be the greatest medical discovery in history," I said.
"But it comes bundled with a lethal alien parasite," Martha said.
"Not so good a discovery," Jack said.
"The Parasite needs healthy body until it's incubated, So the parasite egg incorporates this magic bullet, which puts everything in the system back to it's factory setting," Martha said.
"AKA It being called Reset," I said.
"So who runs the pharm?" Jack said.
"Well the public image is innocent enough, Private, partnership between the government and a consortium of the pharmaceutical companies, Researching and developing cutting edge bio technology," Ianto said.
"Their IT systems are way more cutting edge than they need to be," Tosh said. "Plus they've got seemingly unrestricted security clearance,"
"So they deleting the files then," I said.
"Yes," Tosh said.
"Who runs this outfit," Jack said.
"Institute director is a Dr Aaron Copley," Gwen said.
"Yeah I know his work," Owen said. "He's one of the most respected research scientists in his field,"
"Harvard graduate did research at Cambridge, Last job, Harvard professor of Molecular Pharmacology, Came to the UK to set up the Pharm," Ianto said.
"Hmm, he's kinda handsome too," Jack said. "Do you think he'll like visitors,"

When Jack came back Tosh was trying to hack in.
"It's no use, And if i keep trying a brute force approach they'll know they're under attack," Tosh said.
"An alien lifeform is preying on humans. I need a way in there," Jack said.
"Tosh, I've got the results of that research, on the screen now," Ianto said.
"Ianto, That's brilliant, They're in the market for volunteers," Tosh said.
"That's understandable, given their wastage rate," Jack said.
"One of us goes in undercover," Gwen said.
"No we don't know enough about it, too many things could go wrong," Jack said.
"Unless you put a medic in there, someone who knew what to look for," Martha said.
"Yeah but I can't do it they know me now," Owen said.
"I know it's hard to believe Owen, But I wasn't thinking of you," Martha said.
"No," I said.
"No way," Jack said.
"Come on, Harry, Jack, I've been in worse places, and you know it," Martha said.
"Ok," Jack said.
"What can be serious considering it," I said.

As we headed into the office.
"You can't be serious after seeing what those things can do," I said.
"Come on, We both been in worst places, I can do this," Martha said.
"It's not about that, It's what is going on in there," I said.
"I'll be fine," Martha said. "Plus I'm coming back," As Martha Kissed me and headed out.

"Fake ID," Ianto said. "First name, Samantha thought the Jones would be safe,"
"Ok, how do I stay in touch," Martha said.
"Communication's very tricky, The whole place could be wired," Tosh said. "We don't want you chattering away to us and being overheard,"
"But I want to monitor you at all times," Jack said.
"So," Martha said.
"These," I said.
"I don't need contact lenses," Martha said.
"These ones you do," I said.
"Ok," Martha said.
As She put them in.
"Oh I'm a camera," Martha said.
"As Chris Isherwood once said to me when we were cruising the Kurfurstendamm," Jack said.
"And we can text," Tosh said.

"Power comes from the body heat so they only work when you're wearing them," I said.
"Yeah, so you have to wear them everywhere," Owen said.
"I'll do some things with my eyes shut then," Martha said.
"In an emergency, we can speak to you directly, The lens will communicate with your sensory neuroreceptors, Bypasses the auditory system," I said.
"But Can't these signals be intercepted?" Martha said.
"Alien Technology, Which exploits a solution to the EPR Paradox," Ianto said.
"Oh Quantum entanglement of remote particles, Ok cool," Martha said.

Martha was in as Tosh, Jack and Owen watched her. Eventually she was in the a room.
"That was crazy," I said texting to her. As she nodded. After a bit she was up. "Martha Be Careful," I said texting her again as she nodded again.
Then Jack came over. As well as Tosh and Owen.
"Martha moving," I said.
Where Martha found a door with a keycode control.
"Tosh, Can her that code?" I said.
"If she gets a bit closer to it," Tosh said as she started to crack it.
Then we got 4 numbers. "41040," Just in the nick of time and Martha was in and closed the door.
"Computer," I texted her. As Martha headed over to it.
Then Tosh talked her through it to give us remote control.
"Martha now we got control, get out of there Now," I said to her.
Then we lost the feed.
"No damn it," I said. "We've completely lost the link,"
Then we got the guy who were doing the hitman and then He had something in him and Owen used the singulation scalpel but blow him.
"Now what," I said.
"I've got an idea," Jack said.
After 30 mins. We drove up there.
"Ianto, Gwen, Tosh find out what is in the warehouse," I said. "Owen, Jack, Come on,"
As we got in there.
"Hands on your heads now," I said. Pointing a gun at him. As Jack got in. Then I headed over to Martha. "How do we stop this,"
"Tell me that's not reset," Owen said.
"She's survived the larval stage, the only subject ever to do so," Copley said.
"Stop this now," I said.
"I can't, I don't know how," Copley said.
"Owen what can you do," I said. As I got the straps off her.
"This thing's killing her I don't know what I can do," Owen said.
"There has gotta be something," I said. "Hey, Come on stay with me,"
"Acknowledged Ianto tell tosh to go for total shut down," Jack said. "This place is a torture chamber,"
"I don't need to debate medical ethics with you," Copley said.
"Wanna with me," I said pissed off.
"Harry, focus on Martha," Jack said. "You abused the mayflies you turned them into parasites,"
"We didn't understand how the mayflies reproduced," Copley said. "We tried to limit the damage,"
"What by murdering people," I said.
"They were going to die any way," Copley said.
"Yeah, and if she dies you die," I said.
"We're closing this place down," Jack said.
"In your dreams, this is a state of the art official facility," Copley said.
"Oh I'm not doing it by sending a memo, We're in control on your IT systems, As we speak we're crashing your databanks wiping your records," I said.
"That's Cyber terrorism," Copley said.
"That's for starters, We're going to trip the systems of your fire, radiation and bio hazard safety networks, The Power will cut sprinkler will be activated, And a large part of this facility will be sealed and flooded with inert gases," I said.
"The Aliens will die," Copley said.
"They're already dying, This way they'll be put out of their misery," I said.
"Harry, Give me a hand," Owen said as I went over as Martha was shaking mad.
"What the hell are you doing?" I said.
"This is the only way we'll save Martha," Owen said. "I think I understand how it works,"
"You'd better be sure because it's never worked before," Jack said.
"Owen are you sure it's safe?" I said.
"Ok, Harry," Owen said.
"Owen, tell me you're sure," I said. Backing off. "You could kill her with that thing,"
"We're losing her," Jack said.
Then a single tone bleeped.
"What have you done," Jack said.
As Martha finally coughed a bit.
"Oh Bloody hell it worked, Thank god for that," Owen said.
"Let's get her out of here," Jack said as I got her up.
"I am prescribing rest and recuperation for you, and a few days in bed preferably under my supervision," Owen said.
"Owen," I said.
"Alright, alright," Owen said. Heading off.
"Don't you want to say I told you so," Martha said.
"Nope, Come here," I said pull her tight against me. As we got over.
"Arms up there," Gwen said.
"Tosh, Shut this place down," I said.
"Facility shut down programme all personnel must evacuate immediately, Facility shut down programme, All personnel must evacuate immediately," PA said.
"Ok Let's go," Jack said.
"Did you really think I was going to let you just walk away," Copley said as Owen got in front of us. "You've ruined everything I've worked for,"
"Now let's not be stupid ok?" Owen said. "We're both rational men, scientists, I know you don't want to shoot,"
Then Copley shot Owen.
"Owen," I said got a grip of mine.
"You're next," Copley said pointing it at Martha.
"No," I said shooting him in the head.
Then Martha went over and tried to help Owen.
"Owen Can you hear me Owen?" Martha said.
"You've got to help him," Tosh said.
"Owen, Stay with us Come on," I said.
"Owen Look at me, look at me, Owen Look at me," Jack said. "Stay with me Owen, Stay with me Buddy come on,"
"Come on Owen stay with us," I said.
"Owen Speak to me," Martha said.
"Owen," Jack said.
"He's dead," Martha said.
