A package lay outside the Tsuruga Ren, Mogami Kyoko residence in Tokyo for 3 days patiently awaiting their return. The contents of this package were such that it should come with a health advisory warning but the package did not contain any such warning. Those in the know would likely include a warning for side-effects such as temporary loss of sight, dizziness, and either a sense of disbelief in reality or doubting the sanity of the person using the item in question.

Since the outside of the package, in contrast to the contents, was rather innocuous and dull - a brown paper wrap, when Ren and Kyoko come back from their honeymoon, Ren picks it up without a qualm. Going inside their house, while feeling a sense of wonder that he is back again in a place he had thought he would never return to, a sense of happiness that he is with his beloved Kyoko again, and a sense of resolve never to leave her again for whatever reason, Ren feels no trepidation at opening the package which he should have otherwise felt.

One reason was that the package having not been delivered by conventional post did not reveal the sender's name or address. If it had, that alone would have set off alarm bells in Ren's mind. Since it only has his name on the top and since he is still in a cloud of bliss and contentment at being home, he opens the package fearlessly. The color of the contents alone is enough to bring him crashing down to earth with a horrible suspicion. Taking out the item in question confirms his suspicion,

Seeing the look of abject horror on his face, contrasted with the bright pink jumpsuit he is holding up, Kyoko bursts into a laugher. Giving her a cross look, Ren bends down to pick up the piece of paper that fluttered from the suit onto the floor.

"Wear this and come see me - Lory" it proclaims. Ren stares as if the piece of paper were a snake that had bit him,

The message brooks no argument and Ren cannot dream of disobeying. He knows he has to meet Lory sooner or later and this message means that he cannot go wearing anything other than that pink jumpsuit.

"It's not so bad.," says Kyoko still smiling. "I can wear mine too to give you company if you want. I am sure I have it somewhere."

"NO!" says Ren horrorstruck at the image of the two of them in pink jumpsuits. "We don't want to give people heart attacks. Plus no one knows we are together, remember?"

"Right. Of course.," says Kyoko. "I will come with you though."

And so the next morning finds them in the parking lot behind the artists only entrance at Lory's Majestic Entertainment, Ren dressed in pink overalls, dark sunglasses, and a cap, Kyoko wearing more normal clothes. As they enter the building, however, they immediately run into a roadblock in the form of Sawara-san.

"Oh hello Kyoko-san, hisashiburi desu ne?" he calls as he walks towards them.

For a moment Kyoko considers running away. 'Oh no. I really didn't think of how to explain's Ren's presence here. He is going to have lots of questions that I don't have answers to.'

But it is too late for that. So she responds, "Yes. Been a while. I am glad to be back."

Sawara walks up to them and can't help but catch sight of the pink apparition standing next to stops him short and then with an "Aha" look of someone finally putting two and two together to arrive at four, he says "Kyoko-san, this person next to you, is he who I think he is?"

"Who you think he is...meaning?"

"Well, I heard from the President, of course."

"You heard?!" exclaims Kyoko while Ren thinks, 'What exactly have you been doing President? Have you been outing us to everyone at LME? A heads-up about that would be nice.'.

"Yes. I mean not exactly but I did hear you went out of the country for a top-secret mission. And I have been keeping a keen eye out on all the English language films and TV shows to see if I could spot you. But I hadn't so far. But seeing you here with this person - so obviously blonde, I just figured out it was a different kind of mission."

He says all of this without pausing and then looks to Ren. "Pureased to meet you. I'm Sawara," so saying (in English) he holds out a hand. Puzzled Ren takes it, "Likewise." he responds in English.

"I'm guessing you need to go directly to introduce him to the President? Follow me. I'll take you on the most discreet route to him." says Sawara to Kyoko. He turns around and walks away expecting Kyoko and Ren to follow and keep up.

Finally not able to hold it in any longer Kyoko asks, "Sawara-san, Just exactly what do you think is going on here? Who do you think this is?" She points to Ren.

"Why the latest recruit for Love Me department, of course. The president said to expect a recruit. Only when I saw you come in with him in that uniform that I realized that you had actually gone abroad to recruit a foreigner to join the ranks of LME. Being in Love Me department would be a great opportunity for a recruit to learn our Japanese ways and language. And who better than our top actress who is fluent in English to go on this recruitment mission. The president does think of everything, doesn't he?"

Ren and Kyoko exchange looks but follow Sawara anyway.
