Hey everyone! Sorry for the late update, I've been hanging out with my bestfriend all day. I hope your day has been good. If not, hopefully this has been better. Enjoy!

Chapter Forty-Seven

It was weird waking up and finding Tanya in the kitchen. I understood why she was here, I mean, I was petrified to stay on my own. And I wasn't worried about her being here. Edward loved me, and I knew she wasn't a threat to our relationship.

"Good morning," She said cheerfully.

"Morning," I said, "Um, can I get you a cup of coffee?"

"I already made a cup," She smiled, "I know my way around this house pretty well."

I nodded, "Yeah, right."

Edward walked down the stairs, his hair a mess and his eyes still heavy. I smiled; he always looked so cute in the mornings.

"Mm, did you make coffee?" He asked me.

"Uh, no."

"I made you a cup already," Tanya said as she pushed a steaming cup towards him.

"Oh uh thanks," He said as he took the cup. He took a sip of it and sighed happily, as he always did when he had his morning coffee.

She smiled, "Two sugars and just a splash of the fancy hazelnut creamer."

He chuckled, "Yeah, my tastes haven't really changed that much."

"Would you like a cup Bella?"

"No, I don't drink coffee," I said as I opened the fridge and grabbed the orange juice.

"Oh my gosh you can run on no coffee?" Tanya said, "I wish I was like that. I can't survive without coffee."

"Bella has an unnatural amount of energy," Edward chuckled, "She wakes up and she is ready to go."

"Oh I wish," Tanya said, "Edward, do you remember that coffee shop we found in Soho?"

"Yeah, the Bean," He nodded, "That place had the best coffee. The worst customer service ever though."

She laughed, "Do you remember that weird guy with the tattoos and the long hair? The barista?"

"How could I forget? I beat that crap out of him that one night. Almost got locked up." Edward said.

"You beat someone up?" I said.

He nodded, "I told you I was wild."

"Why did you beat him up?"

"Well he started making gross comments towards me," Tanya said, "I mean like really vulgar stuff. Edward gave him a warning and then pulled him over the counter and gave him the beating of a lifetime. It was incredible."

Edward laughed, "God I'll never forget how he squealed. He put on this whole tough guy act, but he was such a bitch."

They laughed together and I felt slightly out of the loop. I just sipped my orange juice and made myself a bagel.

"So, Valentine's day is coming up," Tanya said, "What are you two planning to do?"

"I'm taking Bella up to the Poconos. We're going for the weekend." He said, "I got a luxury suite for us."

"Ooo," She smiled, "That sounds so romantic."

"I'm going to go shower." I said as I turned and walked back up the stairs.

As I was letting the hot water run down my back, the shower door opened. Edward stepped in, naked as the day he was born.

"Hey," I said, turning and grabbed the soap.

He placed his hands on my hips, "I'm sorry."

"About what?" I asked in confusion.

He pulled me to him and pressed his lips against my ear, "I know it's really awkward having Tanya here. I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to make you feel like a third wheel."

I shrugged, "It's okay Edward. I mean, I know you and Tanya were together for a really long time."

"Bella, you don't have to play it off. I can tell you're upset. If it's her being here, then I can set her up somewhere with a security guard. I don't like you being upset." He spun me around so he could stare into my eyes.

I was going to brush it off, but then I thought about it. I needed to be honest with him. I mean, I was pregnant with his child and I was fairly sure I loved him. I saw a future with Edward, but we wouldn't get anywhere if I wasn't honest.

"Okay, yeah I'm a little upset," I said, looking down, "It's just… you and I don't have that kind of history. We've only been dating a few months. I'm… I'm scared that because we don't have much of a history we won't make it. You and Tanya have so much history. You know each other so well. You two just… you just fit better together."

He rubbed my shoulders, "So what. Yeah, Tanya and I have a lot of history together, but I never felt for her a portion of what I feel for you." He leaned down and kissed me.

"Well, our relationship is not going to get any better." I said, trying to blink the tears away.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Edward, I'm pregnant," I said, "Everyone says that relationships get tougher after a baby comes. Here we are barely four months together and I'm pregnant. Our relationship doesn't have a strong enough foundation yet. But you and Tanya have this great history and it would make sense for you two to have a baby. Everyone's going to say that I'm having a trapper baby."

"You're going to have a what?" He asked, his brows furrowing.

I rolled my eyes, "A trapper baby. In my town, we used to call girls who got pregnant with boys on purpose trappers. And the babies they had were called trapper baby. Which is what everyone called me."

He gave me a look, "We're not having a trapper baby. That term is so ridiculous. You were taking birth control and it didn't work. Why did everyone call you a trapper baby?"

"Well, my parents dated all through high school, but their senior year, my dad was planning on leaving for college and my mom wasn't sure what she was doing at that point. They had separated on good terms; he was leaving, and she didn't want to hold him back. But before he left my mom realized she was pregnant with me. She told him and he ended up giving up on his college dreams and just going to the police academy to be able to get a job and raise me. Everyone called my mom a trapper and I was a trapper baby. My dad had potential, not very many people leave the town I'm from. He gave it up because of me. It always hurt my feelings when people called me a trapper baby."

"Honey, no one is going to call our baby a trapper baby." He said, "And I would never ever want to have a baby with Tanya. Yeah, we have history but that's all it is. I've never loved Tanya like I loved you. And I know this may seem too fast for you, but I know that I want to marry you."

My eyes widened, "What? How could you possibly know that?"

He shrugged, "It's just a feeling. A very strong feeling. I love you."

I placed my hand over my stomach, "So, if I planned on keeping this baby, what are your plans?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, if I have this baby, what do you plan on doing about it? I mean, are you planning on staying with me? Or are you planning on just sending me child support. You already have a lot on your plate and a baby would just make things more complicated to you."

"Bella, if you plan on having this baby, then my plans are just going to have to be sooner rather than later."

"What plans?"

"Let's just say that if you plan on keeping the baby, then that talk about me marrying you isn't just talk." He said.

My eyes widened, "Are… are you asking me to marry you?"

He snorted, "You're silly. You'd think I'd ask you to marry me in the shower? No. When I ask you to marry me, it's going to be amazing. A story our children will be dying to hear about. A proposal story that'll make all other proposal stories look like crap."

I felt a dry lump in my throat. Edward wanted to marry me. I knew he loved me, but I didn't know he wanted to marry me. I mean, I guess I wasn't really shocked by him wanting to marry me, but I was shocked that it excited me. I found myself wanting him to ask me.

I couldn't help but envision our life together. Us getting married, having children, growing old together. I wanted that life with Edward. I knew we hadn't been dating for long, but there was something inside of me that just knew that Edward was the one.

"I-I love you Edward." I said.

A large smile spread across his face, "I love you too, Bella."

He leaned down and pulled me into a deep kiss. I wrapped my arms around him, pressing my body against him. It had been a couple nights since we've been together.

He lifted me up and pressed me against the tile. He reached between us and started rubbing my clit with his thumb. I gasped against his mouth, growing wetter with each stroke of his thumb. He didn't hesitate to push himself inside of me. I moaned, his cock stretching me in the most wonderful way.

"I love you Bella," He grunted as he started thrusting.

"Mm, Edward, I love you," I gasped, my fingernails digging into his shoulders.

This wasn't one of our longer romps, this wasn't really about finding pleasure at all. It was just about showing our love for one another. Soon after he started thrusting, I felt my orgasm ready to burst. I was throwing my head back and screaming my love for him. His orgasm hit soon after mine.

His hand wrapped around the back of my head and pulled me in for another kiss. I poured everything into that kiss. My love for him, my insecurities, my fears. He reciprocated by kissing me just as hard.

"I love you, so much," He whispered.

"I love you too."

After Edward and I got ready for the day, we drove to Bloor street. As expected, we were running a little late. Riley had already went ahead and opened the bakery. He was doing really good; he pretty much knew how to do everything I did. I could trust him more.

"Late morning?" Riley asked when I walked in.

"Oh yeah," I said, "It's just been complicated since last night."

"Uh oh, trouble in paradise?" He asked.

I grabbed my apron and put it on, "No, not with Edward. But his ex is staying with us for a few days."

"Why?"

"She got attacked last night and she was afraid to stay by herself. Normally I would've said no, but I can understand her fear."

"Well, that sounds awkward as fuck," He said, "You don't think Edward has lingering feelings for her, do you?"

"No. I know Edward loves me. I trust him," I said, "It's her I don't trust."

Once we finished prepping everything, I started decorating the cakes. I had several people coming in to pick up cakes today and I needed to get them finished.

Edward's POV

I was going to have to take some work home today. We got such a late start today, but I wasn't complaining. I would never complain about spending time with Bella.

"Mr. Cullen, a man named Paul is requesting to see you," Lauren said through the intercom.

"Send him in." I said.

Paul walked in, taking up half the space in my small office. He was wearing his usual black shirt, jeans, and work boots. The look was so simple but intimidating as hell. I would never admit it out loud, but Paul was scary as hell. I would never want to be caught on his bad side.

"Everything okay Paul?" I asked him as he sat in the chair.

"I got a text from James today," Paul said.

"What?" I said, "What did he say?"

Paul pulled out his cellphone, "He wants to meet up. He has an offer for me that he thinks I'll like."

"What did you say."

"Nuthin yet," he said crossed his arms, "I wanted to see what you wanted me to say."

And this was why I trusted Paul with Bella. He was loyal. His family had been loyal to ours for years. Even though Paul wasn't so social, he was loyal and trustworthy.

I nodded and thought about my options, "Text him back that you're interested. Set something up for Wednesday night."

Paul nodded and texted him back, "What are you planning?"

"Let me call my father and I'll let you know," I said, "Thank you for telling me Paul. I'll make sure you get a nice little deposit in your checking account."

"Don't worry about it, James is a dick." He said as he got up and left.

I leaned back in my chair and smiled. It was about time the scales tipped my way.

I love adding in little pieces of Edward and Bella talking. I feel like it just makes their relationship seem deeper. And James is coming out of the shadows! Check in tomorrow for the new chapter! I'll try to get it in early!
