Set in the latter half of season 1. A girl talk continuation of Chapter 46.

Placing tender kisses along Nikita's bruises, Michael felt the irresistible urge to smile. It was such a peaceful moment between the couple. Her fingers twisted through his hair and she hummed in contentment, as he attempted to heal her wounds with loving lips. The gentle caress of his hand at her broken ankle, supporting it so she wasn't uncomfortable, only aided in the healing process. Though, he was certain she was more distracted by his traveling mouth than any of his other actions. His beard lightly scraped along her bronze skin, and she wiggled her hips. He trailed kisses closer to her thighs, and she parted her legs. He nipped at her lower abdomen and teased her with talented fingers, and she moaned softly. That smile he felt blooming instantly turned into a smirk. Their slow, quiet start to the day was about to become a lot more fun.

"Hey, Nikita, I've been thinking… Ебена мать!" However, just as Michael kissed Nikita's inner thigh and slipped his digits into her wet heat, Alex shrieked. The couple was so consumed with one another, that they didn't notice the young woman enter the loft. Though, in their defense, the safehouse was easy to maneuver in and out of undetected if you knew the security measures. There also wasn't an actual bedroom; Nikita slept in the same room as her computer set-up. So if any team member stopped by unannounced, they could find a surprise waiting for them. Unfortunately, privacy was just about the one thing the wonderful loft lacked.

At hearing the Russian curse, Michael hurriedly rolled off the bed. Instinct wanted him to grab for his weapon as well, yet he recognized the sound of Alex's voice. He recognized the panic too, and tried to cover himself with a fallen pillow. Scrambling as fast as she could, Nikita grabbed at twisted unmade sheets to hide her naked body with. Her injuries made movement more difficult and complicated, though. At least the young woman had the good sense to turn her back after witnessing the couple in the act. She wanted to run away and return at a completely different time. But the rogue held her back by stammering, "Alex! What are you doing here?"

It was a stupid question. Alex always came over to debrief after a mission, whether it was that night or the next morning. Nikita should've been expecting her; she was just too wrapped up in Michael's presence to think about anything else. After having a previous intimate moment interrupted by Owen (though, making out in their underwear barely compared to the current situation) the couple should've learned their lesson. Their privacy was not guaranteed during the light of day. But it was just so easy to forget their troubles when the other was near. Not so much in that moment, though- not with the poor young woman trying to shake away the image of what she had walked in on, "I always… Michael's here…"

"Don't turn around!" Michael snapped. Although Alex hadn't moved from her spot, she had tensed as if to turn around and face the two. He couldn't have that happen. Sure she had caught a glimpse of him and Nikita having sex. But there was a chance she hadn't seen anything specific. It would've been better for all of them if that remained true. Beginning to stumble into the clothes that were on the floor next to him, he handed his girlfriend some things to throw on as well. Awkward silence filled the air between the three. They couldn't think of a way to move past the horrible moment. Once the majority of his clothes were in place, however, Michael realized the best course of action was to simply leave. Besides, it wasn't as though he could stay at the loft forever, "I should, uh… I need to go back to Division anyway."

"Right. Yeah. Um. Bye," Despite not wanting her boyfriend to leave just yet (leaving her to deal with the awkwardness alone wasn't his best move) Nikita knew he had to go. Division wouldn't let him stay away for too long. And with Alex needing to debrief with the rogue, someone had to play the part of mole. Michael wanted to kiss his girlfriend goodbye. But the young woman standing nearby made him change his mind. The couple just kind of awkwardly waved at one another as he took off. He more than likely forgot something, but that didn't really matter. The less they sat and thought about what happened the better.

Alex managed to say goodbye to Michael as well, yet she kept her back to him and Nikita. She didn't know if it was safe yet to look at them, and she was alright only staring at the wall for a while. In all honesty, she had seen worse things in her life. Except the two were her friends- her teachers, really, in a sense. It was one thing knowing they were a couple; it was another catching them in the act. It was a little too much for her. She had to push it behind her and move on, "So, you guys are good."

"How're you and Nathan?" Thankfully, Nikita was ready to move on as well. She had enough clothes on to shuffle out of bed and join Alex, but her crutches were across the room. She'd have to hop on one foot until she either reached them or found another place to sit. For the moment, she'd remain on the mattress. Besides, the young woman probably wanted to keep her distance for a little while longer. That was completely fine with the rogue. She didn't want to address what had happened either.

"Good. Good. I just came from there. Which made me think about my escape plan," Finally turning around, Alex explained her other reason for coming to the loft. Maybe she should've texted or called first. But she wasn't at fault. Nikita seriously needed to find another place for her bed. That wasn't the topic anymore, though. The young woman had to focus on the idea that had been floating around recently. With Michael as a mole, she'd be able to make her escape from Division. She could finally be free, and live happily ever after.

"Right. We gotta get on that. I was just distracted with getting on other things," The innuendo didn't mean to slip from Nikita. She agreed with Alex that they should work on her escape from Division. The young woman shouldn't have been involved in the first place. She should be out in the world enjoying her life instead of warring through hell. The rogue would do anything in her power to ensure that happened; Alex had been through enough pain.

"Oh. I didn't need to know that," She had also been through enough awkwardness with the couple to last her a lifetime. Alex didn't need to know anything else about their relationship. They were all on the same team- that was great. Anything else between Nikita and Michael could stay between them. Though, she was still curious about how the two had gotten to that particular point. She never got a real breakdown on how her handler switched sides and ended up with the woman who was supposed to be his enemy. She'd probably get the details later. For the moment, she shut down any further discussion. Whereas the young woman was steadfast on that, the rogue grinned mischievously.

She shouldn't have brought up hers and her boyfriend's sex life again. But Nikita wanted to have some fun with Alex. She herself was still beyond embarrassed at being caught with Michael between her legs. Except, the squeamish expression on the young woman's face more than made up for it. They also both deserved a chance to relax and laugh. What better way than to joke around, "You don't want to know how mind blowingly amazing your teacher performs in other areas?"

"Fuck no," Alex was beyond serious. Nikita nearly doubled over in laughter. Her bruises didn't appreciate the movement, but she didn't care. Struggling to her feet, she tried to move around so her sore muscles wouldn't become too stiff. That was when the young woman finally noticed how wounded she was, especially the broken ankle. She rushed to her side and helped her somewhat stand straight. The rogue indicated where her crutches were, and together they hobbled over, "Damn. You came out of that mission worse than I thought."

"I'm fine. I had a big strong man take care of me in the bathroom and in bed. And then, I came wonderfully out of that several times," Nikita was far more intentional with that innuendo. She smirked, proud of her play on words. Alex rolled her eyes, though, and left her to hop on her own to grab her things. Considering how close their friendship had grown over the year, and that the two had been able to talk about more serious subjects (like addiction and abuse), the young woman should've been able to handle the rogue making sex jokes. But she couldn't, not when it involved Michael.

"I died last night and now I'm in hell," Her side of the mission wasn't nearly as terrible as Nikita's, yet that wasn't Alex's point. She was learning far too much about her handler- teacher- friend- whatever. She wanted to equate it to discovering her parents' sex life, but that might've been taking it a step too far. Regardless, she looked up to Michael and Nikita in a way. And discovering sexual details about them was, for lack of a better word, disturbing. They might have been partners and friends, but that was still too much.

"Come on. You're an adult. You can handle sex stories. I've got plenty of them," Then with crutches and able to move around more freely, Nikita approached her friend tauntingly. She had heard about the young woman's and her boyfriend's first time on the couch. Turnabout was fair play. Besides, Alex should hear more about how the couple got together. She needed to know about Division's role with Kasim. But that was something for Michael to tell. In the meantime, Nikita could just rile Alex up.

"No. I don't… it's weird when it's you two. Cause, you know… your… it's just weird. I don't need to know what goes on down there," Back to awkwardly stammering, the young woman avoided the rogue. It was easy for her, since she didn't have to hobble around. But Alex was still stumbling in her awkwardness. At least Nikita was laughing. She wasn't going to go too far in her teasing. That somewhat helped the young woman relax as well. They could just have a fun moment together before delving into missions and escapes. Taking a second to breathe was always beneficial, after all.

"You sure? Cause there's a lot going on down there. I mean…" The rogue just had to ruin it, however. Letting her sentence drop, she illustrated with her hands just how much she was talking about. Alex turned bright red, and tore her eyes away from her. Bright laughter echoed throughout the great room of the loft. Nikita had to sit in her desk chair so as to not collapse in her giggles. Images the young woman had tried to shake loose came rushing back to her mind. She thought she could've screamed.

"Oh my God!"

"That's exactly what I said. But it was a bit moanier," Piling on to the joke, Nikita could barely speak past her laughter. Her desired effect was still met, however. Alex had her hands pressed into her eyes, and she was shaking her head. The more the rogue laughed, though, the more the young woman managed to relax. She'd get her back eventually for all the oversharing, then it'd be her turn to laugh at the other's expense. Or at least just make her feel extremely awkward- that'd work too.

"I have to go… I'm sure I gotta debrief… again," She should've been debriefing with Nikita and going over plans. But that could wait for when the moment truly passed. Alex started to leave, formulating her revenge on her friend and some escape ideas at the same time. The bright side to that was both thoughts going through her head could get her through the day at Division. She always needed things to distract her so she didn't become too overwhelmed with fury and pain from that hellhole. Planning revenge and an escape seemed like the perfect thing.

"When you see Michael can you tell him I love him?" Nikita called after her right before she could step out the door. It was supposed to be one more dig at how uncomfortable Alex was. However, the young woman froze. She turned to look at her friend in complete awe. She wasn't sure why she was so surprised by the statement. Deep down, she knew that was the feeling brewing between the couple; it wasn't just rage or hurt over their past. There definitely was baggage between them, she just wasn't sure exactly what it was.

And Nikita wasn't sure why Alex was staring at her like that. It wasn't as though what she had said was out of the ordinary. Okay, maybe for their world it was. She knew the young woman had been struggling with romantic relationships (between Thom dying and Nathan not knowing who she really was). The prospect of finding someone worth all the fighting was probably magical to her. Her voice did seem dreamlike as she wondered, "Wait. You guys love each other?"

"Uh. Yeah. We really do. That's how we got here, after all. Well that, and finally resolving some family drama," That wasn't the best explanation, yet it was true. Once Michael was able to move past his guilt for his family, he and Nikita were able to fall into it together. She had her own shit to sort through too; it wasn't fair to say it was all him. But what had happened in Russia had been a turning point for them. There was no going back and they wouldn't have it any other way.

"How long have you felt like that?" Alex asked innocently. She could probably guess the answer on her own. She had spent enough time with Nikita and Michael to know they had been carrying a torch for one another for a long time. But it was a part of her curiosity of a possible normal life awaiting her. She could have that lovey grossness the couple had when she finally reached her happily ever after. Maybe it could be with Nathan. He had already agreed to take off with her. She had also had that weird drug-induced dream of the two of them with a family. Wasn't that lovey enough for a solid relationship.

"I think… I think before I went rogue," Although Nikita knew when she realized she had loved Michael, she wasn't certain when she had actually fallen in love. That had to be before their mission in Russia together, though. The kiss they shared was far more passionate and heated for just a crush or an attraction. The couple had been drawn to one another for a long time. They just finally broke down any barriers that had separated them.

"See what I mean? You guys are weird," Alex and Nikita could talk more in length about love and stuff later. The topic was growing more serious than the young woman would've liked for the moment. So, she went back to teasing. The rogue was alright with that, rolling her eyes at the quip. That could simply be one more thing they talked about as they planned an escape and other things moving forward. Since Alex had graduated from recruit to agent, she and Nikita had needed to talk about more and more things. As long as they took the time to discuss it all, it wasn't terrible. Their partnership and friendship had the chance to keep growing.

However, Alex should've been joining Michael at Division soon. They had spent the time she needed to debrief on other subjects. Yet they'd be alright until they saw one another again. Nikita could rest and heal in the meantime, and Alex could talk to Michael for a bit. Before the young woman left again, though, the rogue threw out one last quip. It was a somewhat important comment about supplies. But mostly, it was said to upset her, "Whatever. Just get me more condoms from the store. I burned through my supply."

"I'm gonna kill you."

"Have fun!"
