Chapter 46: Rescuing the Pixies
"Looks friendly." Bloom commented
"Plenty of sunshine." Stella added.
Taren would let them have a moment of joking around after what they've been through, but had a very bad feeling about this place that made his body cry out 'danger'.
"The pixies should be up there." Pointed to where she knew of the place.
"So, does this mean we have to take the rope bridge?" Sky found a bridge but felt uncertain if it could handle the five of them.
"I dunno, who knows if it can support us." Taren seems uncertain.
"Of course not, we'll fly." Stella told both Sky and Taren. "Listen, boys, why don't you play it safe, huh? And wait for us here."
However, Bloom did not seem to feel it be a good idea and went with Sky's suggestion to stay together. "We'll all go on foot."
Stella seems to feel that Bloom did not want to be parted from her beloved keyblader. "Oh, well, part from your sweetheart?" Held her hands to her chest and flickering her eyelids to tease her friend.
"Stella! If we transform now, we may not have enough power when we really need it." Bloom reminded her of their limit of magic in the Downland. "Not to mention our Titans and Taren is the only keyblader present to help out if something happens to us."
"Taren, about that summon you mention, think maybe one that could help us?" Sky asked him if he is able to bring one to the Magic Dimension.
"Actually, I kinda had someone in mind." Taren said, thinking of someone who might be helpful. "One I could think of maybe a dragon."
"Oh that would come in…" Stella didn't catch what the keyblader just said at first, but it didn't take her and others long before they realize what he just said. "Uh, eh, eh, Taren? You know, for a moment I thought you said you could summon a dragon?"
She received a simple nod from Taren like it was no big deal to him.
"Wait? For real? That's not possible, right?" Sky asked out of shock to know the wonders of the keyblade's magic.
"Yeah, had some practice earlier and since the barrier opened up, could make it easier but give a few and might work on something small." Taren explains to them. "So, I figured one who could give us a hand to find the Pixies and one named Mushu, a Chinese Dragon."
"There are real dragons in China?!" Bloom asked if it were true.
"Oh, right. Sorry, well, you probably not know some worlds similar to some cultures to Earth so some could be similar to those of myth and legends." Taren pointed out and forgot how some similarities to a few countries Bloom told him that share some traits to others.
"Oh, right. That would make more sense." Bloom said, but now eager to see one and his performance of a summoning. "But it would be really cool to see a Chinese Dragon. They are said to be large and fierce like the ones in Red Fountain."
"I'm interested." Layla was interested to see his magic.
"Me too." Gomamon added.
"Same here!" Even Agumon wanted to see his partner to summon something, especially another fire breather like a dragon.
Sky nodded and smiles. "Sounds good to me if this dragon can help us."
Taren smiles and held out his Keyblade in both hands. "Alright, the votes are in!"
However for Stella, she imagined one being a monster that brings terror to a village and the Winx. "Now hold on! Much as I want to save the Pixies and Brandon, but is it a good idea?" Thinking maybe to try reasoning Bloom to talk him out of it. "Bloom, talk some sense into him! He's your boyfriend, what if it attacks us?"
"Sorry, Stella but I think he's doing it now." She gave a nervous smile to the blonde.
"Don't worry, Stella. This one is an old friend of my dad's, he'll be a great help to us. Here goes." Remembering the lessons of his training to know about performing a summoning ritual, he held his left hand to his chest as it glowed bright red and then twirling the keybalde in his hands above his head before struck down to the ground, rotating it as if it were an actual key to unlock a doorway. They could see a large amount of smoke that was so big it surprised them.
"Uh, Taren, a little warning if you were gonna summon a dragon right now!" Bloom began to feel nervous about this.
"Oh, I knew this was a bad idea!" Stella whimpered and hid behind Bloom for protection. "Bloom, your magic is related to dragons, maybe you can reason with it."
"Uh, Taren? I don't see it." They hear Layla who was unable to see the dragon he was suppose to summon.
This caught Sky's attention when he could not see this large dragon anywhere through the smoke. Did the summoning fail? "Huh? Maybe it didn't work… or we can't see it."
"All I can see is this black smoke in the way." Bloom waved her hands to see. "Taren, you sure it work-"
"I LIIIIIIIIVVVE!" A loud echoing scream of someone inside the smoke caught everyone but Taren by surprise, mainly Stella letting out an 'eep!' sound and hugged the surprise and nervous Bloom. Then jumping out of the smoke once it cleared up was a small, red, serpentine dragon emerged. The dragon looks around and speaks once more. "So tell me what mortal needs my protection, great ancestor? Just say the word and I'm there!"
Bloom and Stella blinked when they looked at the dragon that was… smaller than they expected him to be. "Uhh?"
"And let me say somethin'! Anybody who's foolish enough to threaten our family? Vengeance will be MINE!"
"Mushu!" Taren called out his name when he was doing a dramatic pose of a ferocious dragon until he heard his name called out.
"Huh?" Mushu noticed three teenage girls and a blonde boy in a blue cape, but when he spotted a red haired male who reminded him of someone he knew who it was. "Taren, my man!" He sprinted up towards Taren's shoulder. "Man! I can't believe it so you're the one who summoned me? And you got a keyblade?! Genie wasn't kindding when he told us the stories of your adventures! I knew you'd make it like just like your dad!"
"That's a… dragon?" Layla asked if she was seeing this right.
"You got that right, sister!" Musha heard her while standing on Taren's shoulder to begin speaking. "I bet you did not expect my pal here to summon someone as intimidating? Awe inspiring as me?"
"Ummm, more like something... bigger?" Layla hoped she did not wanted to offend the dragon by using the word as he was indeed small.
"Uh, yeah, because I'm travel size for heroes to help out!" Mushu told them. " And if I was real size your two pets here would die of fright." Pointing to Agumon and Gomamon.
"Anyway, Mushu, I wanted to give out a try out for a summon and thought maybe you can help us out for a little mission we're on." Taren wanted to bring up the supject to speed things up for them.
"And you decided to give me a chance to lend a hand?" Mush asked him. "Say no more and Mushu will be by your side, kicking bad guy butt and saving the day!"
"Well then we got no time to waste, let's go." Layla leads the way to make their way towards the bridge as according to her memory of the last time she came here. "Hang on tight. That bridge is gonna swing like a boat on a hurricane."
This did not concern Bloom. "No problem, I used to spend my summers at Six Flag's Hurricane Harbour."
"And shouldn't be a problem for me compared to what I've been through." Taren said.
"First, we've gotta get the pixies, and we've gotta do it on foot, how long will Brandon have to wait? We'd better get there before he says "I do"." Stella did not want to lose her beloved Brandon to the Trog princess to made him her husband.
Mushu could tell something was up with the blonde and asked Taren to fill him in. "What's her deal? Someone stole her boyfriend?"
"Long story." Taren began filling him on the mission and what happened recently. Thinking of a way to get in the castle and save the Pixies, and also to save Brandon from a forced marriage.
Brandon was not having a good day at all, he was surrounded by tailors and servants to measure his figure to make the outfit for the wedding with the Trog princess which he wanted to talk to her that he wants nothing to do with her at all.
"No! If you want me to be still, take me to the princess. "One of the Trogs jabs Brandon with something and he yells out and tries to make them see reason. "Look, I've gotta convince that nutcase that this marriage is an enormous mistake! Please help me!"
Once again, the servants paid no attention to him and focused on the task they were given. One of them holds up a needle threateningly and went a little deep through the fabric, causing Brandon to yell in pain again. In a fit of rage, he grabbed the fabric and tossed them to the floor. The Trogs scrambled in fear, muttering worriedly to each other that the princess would punish hem for the mess and try to pick it all up.
Brandon stood by with his arms crossed and hoping that would do the trick. "So, can I talk to her, or not?"
"My fiance requires me?"
Brandon turned around to find Amentia by the door. No time to clean up to please the princess and how she likes to see everything in complete order, the servants try to hide the fabric on the ground by standing in front of the mess.
"How revolting!" Amentia looked disgust to one the servants, believed she had noticed the mess. "You've got five seconds to fix your hair or I'll shred you with my nails, dip you in sewerage, fry you in acid, and finally, I'll cancel your health insurance."
"My dear, princess. I'd like a word in private? Now?" Brandon spoke out to get her attention.
"Hmmm?" Amentia glanced over to Brandon and focused on him. "Later we'll have plenty of time. A lifetime in fact."
Not liking the sound of that and really wanted to cancel the wedding then spend the rest of his life with a crazy princess.
"Another Digimon? Are you serious?" Mal asked Flora when she found out about a girl named Layla who had a partner named Gomamon, Palmon walked beside her partner who was also surprised to find out about this. Mal was told that his sister was with them and somehow not affected by the barrier, no doubt possibly part magic and the daughter of a keyblader like Taren.
Flora nods her head to confirm it and spoke. "We were surprise to find out out after she told us of how it happened. I almost thought it was just the three of you to have Digimon partners."
Mal folded her arms after absorbing the knowledge she was given and unable to believe it. She didn't think there be possibly more when Ansem explained they received the three Digimon to the keybladers. "This doesn't make sense, how did a Digimon round up in the Magic Dimension in the first place?"
"I'm not sure, maybe someone must have opened a portal to their world by accident." Flora gave a suggestion and not the first time this happened when they had the creatures from the Kaiju realm brought over by the winged cat Chaos.
"But with a Digivice with it? Sounds more than just an accident. Should mention this to the others." Palmon gave a thought to share. "Partners with Digimon are often known to have a strong bond so she must have been special who ever gave her a partner."
"It would be interesting to find out." Flora pondered.
"And usual, Taren decided jump to an adventure without mentioning it to us. No doubt to get another keyblade." Mal muttered, causing her eyebrow to twitch. When she first found out about Taren having a second Keyblade from Domino and discovered it had a Keyhole, she was trying to control herself from kicking his butt or be swatted by her tree creatures to wipe the smirk on his face.
Flora could not help but try to hide the chuckle to see Mal's expression, both she and Mirta had to restrain her by the arms from doing anything reckless. She would have talk to Taren about being a little nicer and not be competitive. "How about we go back to my room and let you catch up with the others. You can even introduce Palmon to the girls and I could try some of my magic for her if you like."
"Guess that would be nice." Mal agreed to the idea and would let Flora have some treatment for her partner, as well to give a chance to study a plant-creature like Palmon.
"Would this magic make me feel much better than before?" Palmon asked the fairy and never did see much of their powers before.
"Of course, you won't have to worry I'm good with plants. It be like a treatment for you." Flora smiles to the Digimon before making their way inside and find Tecna in a bathrobe with Musa and Hana. But they noticed a small Pixie in silver and blonde hair hugging Piff as both seem to know each other very well.
They turned around to find Flora and Musa with her. "Mal? When did you get here?" Musa asked.
"And what is that next to you?" Tecna glanced towards Palmon who came with them. But realised that Taren and Layla explained about the Digimon evolve and take new forms. "Wait, is this another Digimon?"
"Did Tanemon digivolved too?" Hana remembered the green Digimon with the plant on her head and see some resemblance.
"Yep, this here is Palmon. So, uh, anyone fill me on what's going on here?" Mal pointed to the two pixies who caught her attention.
"She says her name is Livvy and came from the Pixie village who were meant to be hidden but came to find her." Musa filled them in on what happened.
"Yes, I decided to come to find Alfea for help as the Pixie of messages." Livvy announced herself to them. However, none of them were aware of being observed and all their conversations were revealed to a malevolent entity.
"How touching, and informative." Darkar became intrigued and heard everything the Pixie of Messages spoke with this new information could come into useful for his plans.
"So this Darkar fella, the big bad villain kidnapped these Pixies, you guys came to save them, but one of your friends was held prisoner and is forced to marry a princess?" Mushu recalled what they told them of the events recently. "And your two Digimon here can grow into big monsters to fight other monsters?"
"Just about it." Bloom nodded as he was got it right.
"Sounds like the time my girl Mulan was saved from an arranged marriage years ago, you should have seen the look on the crowds' faces." Mushu mentioned and how he saved the day posing as the Golden Dragon of Unity. The small dragon noticed Stella much slower while the rest were having no difficulty crossing the bridge. "Say, uh, something up with your friend behind us?"
"I don't need any help." Stella retorted, acting as though she was fine but the others knew she was weak without the sun. Muttering under her breath with no sun to recharge her strength. "Is a sliver of sun too much to ask?"
Taren learned about her limited abilities without the sun or light to charge her powers. "She's a fairy of the sun and moon, since there's no sun down here she sometimes has trouble."
"I know how that feels, if I can't breath fire I'm nothing more than a lizard!" Mushu said.
They spotted Layla grabbing a rope and pulling it back, she was going to use it to swing herself over to the Shadowhaunt castle and climb inside to where the pixies should be. Letting go of the rope and threw herself towards the edge and grabbed firmly to the window, with a firm grip she can now pull herself up to climb inside.
"Wow! She sure got some skills!" Mushu sounded impressed and wanted to whistle to applaud.
"Quiet! We can't let them know we're here." Bloom shushed him to not blow their cover.
"Oops!" Mushu grasped his mouth and remained quiet until they reached the end of the bridge. All three of them made it and now only Stella left.
"Stella, are you alright?" Bloom asked out of concern for the tired out blonde.
Not wanting to be seen tired out and eager to keep going to rescue Brandon as soon as possible. It was the only thing that was making her keep on going. "Yeah, feeling great, I'll be there in just a sec."
"Good, let's go get Layla." Bloom told them so they can't fall behind.
Taren was about to say something until he caught something at a glimpse from his eye, spotted a fast moving light heading towards them. "LOOK OUT!" Quickly called up his keyblade and conjured a strong Reflect spell to shield the startled Bloom from a jet of magic before it could hit her, however it was strong enough to through them off their feet by the sheer force.
Sky had no idea what just happened until he was hit by the same magic hits and falls next to them.
Taren grunted and rubbed his head. "What the hell was that?" Looks at his girlfriend to see if she was okay. "You alright?"
Bloom pushed herself up with her hands and nodded to him for saving her. "I'm fine, but I think Sky took a hit."
"No worries, I'm good." Sky assured her and was able to recover from the hit. "What hit us?"
Mushu almost thought they were done for and spotted three shadowy figure coming towards them. "Hey, heads up, three dark looking creeps at 12 o'clock."
Stella was able to make it off the bridge to find them under attack. They hear a loud cackling laugh coming from the middle of the trio and recognised that laugh anywhere.
"No way." Taren muttered and knew where he heard that voice before, a spark of lightning shook them a little but was enough to realise who they were up against.
"It's the Trix!" Stella could not believe it and recognised them anywhere.
"Darcy."
"Stormy."
"And Icy."
Taren resisted the urge to roll his eyes as if they needed to announce their names when they knew them well. "Yeah, we know you are and hard to forget."
"Those are the Trix?" Mushu asked in surprise and glanced at the others. "But didn't you guys say they were beaten and sent to jail or somethin'?"
"Yeah, weren't they shipped off to Light Rock?" Sky whispered to his friends after they watched the Trix and Tezzeret's remaining soldiers be taken away.
"Faragonda said it's impossible to escape from there." This surprised Bloom and curious to know how they escaped.
"We were given special gifts that makes everything possible." Icy grins and let out another cackle.
"Will she ever stop laughing?" Stella muttered of how annoying her laugh was.
"Typical villains, always love to laugh evilly." Mushu could agree with her.
"Who asked for your opinion?" Darcy retorted.
"Can't you see we're gloating here?" Stormy said.
"And getting ready to settle old scores?" Icy added and eager for payback for what they did for ruinning their plans. "We'll finish you off for good." Summoning Shards of ice in the air around Icy.
"Oh, man, that does not look good." Mushu shivered of the sudden drop fo the temperature and not comfortable with snow.
Sky prepared himself and pulled out his lightsabers. "Everyone, brace yourself for an attack."
"Icicle fury!" Icy waved her hands and the icicles fly towards their targets. Taren slammed his keyblade to use a Quake to make a wall of earth fromt eh ground, giving Bloom and Sky to hide behind a pillar and join them.
Sky nodded to appreciate the cover from Taren and calls out to Stella. "Stella, watch out!"
Stella stood still and the icicles land all around her, barely missed but seemed to be intended to block her path of escape. This made her mad of being used for their target practice. "You should not have done that!"
Bloom spotted Darcy appeared behind Stella without her knowing and warns her. "Stella, behind you!
Stella heard Bloom's warning and turns around to find Darcy who immediately used her attack on the surprised fairy. Fortunately, Bloom made a run towards Stella and threw herself at her, pushing Stella out of the way of Darcy's magic before it could hit her.
Taren used the opportunity to make his move, dashes towards Darcy with her back turned and too fast to see him. "Aeriel Sweep!" Leaps in the air and spins his kyeblade to strike her three times across the abdomen, chest and arm.
"ARRGH!" Darcy was too focus on tormenting the fairies she had forgotten the red headed keyblade and thrown back to her sisters.
Icy gritted her teeth when her cold eyes glared at him. "You again! I was hoping you had left after you ruined all we worked for!"
Taren gave a mocking grin to the Trix to see the looks on their faces. "Aw, so you did miss me? I'm touched, and… yeah, I would say I'm sorry but can't."
"Oh, yeah! He's gonna kick your butts!" Mushu proclaimed.
"Not if we kick his first!" Stormy proclaimed with her hands sparked with electricity and ready to fight them.
Bloom found this the perfect moment for her and Stella to transform to fight the Trix. "We have to transform." Stella nodded with some magic still in her after absorbing the sunlight before she came back into the caves, they transform in their Winx form and eager to join the fight.
Taren dodged the lightning strike and threw himself to the side before another could hit him, he realised something was different from the Trix and noticed the gems they were wearing. Before he could strike back, they vanished, no doubt the work of Darcy's magic but could hear their laugh. Sky came over and stood behind him to keep their guard up. "I got a bad feeling about this."
"Same here." Sky agreed with him.
Stormy was the first to make a surprise attack on them with her magic. "Shadow Whirlwind! Creating a powerful twister and directs it at Stella. The princess used her staff to create a barrier protect herself, but despite her best efforts the twister was too much to repel and threw her to the ground.
"Stella!" Sky cried out to her.
"They've seriously gotten stronger than we remembered." Taren grew concerned and not sure if their Titans would handle them. Agumon would not be strong enough to take them on if he is able to digivolve to the next level, but no clue as to what their powers can be at this level. He noticed something about the necklace and the arm cuffs were glowing a lot, and can feel strong magic from them. Whatever they are, it must be the source of their enhanced strength.
"Incoming iceberg!" Mushu cried out to warn him in time to warn them when Icy creates a larger icicle and threw her hands forward to direct it towards Bloom and Sky.
"Bloom!" Taren cried out but fortunately Sky grabbed her to pull out of the way, Taren was quick enough to use a Firaga spell to destroy the ice, melting it from the heat.
They took cover behind the pillars, Bloom was grateful for their help. "Oh, thanks."
Sky glances at Taren for what he did. "Nice work. I never seen them this strong."
Taren nodded and caught his breath. "Least they don't have the Dragon Flame to be this strong."
However, their problems have not come to an end when Darcy reappears in front of the trio, and about to attack Bloom with her magic. While Darcy had Bloom suspended, the redhead suddenly vanished before her eyes.
"Wha-" Darcy thought she had her until suddenly froze in place.
Taren reappeared in a flash and held Bloom in his arms after rescuing her when he used Stopra on Darcy. Bloom found herself saved and smiled at him.
Taren turned to Sky. "Sky, now's your chance!"
The prince nodded and took the opportunity to attack Darcy while she was frozen. Pointing his lightsaber towards her and runs to strike her down to finish the witch off.
"Mind that first step!"
Sky heard a voice and not sure where it came from, the ground beneath him erupted beneath his feet. Loosing his balance and fell, this gave Darcy the chance to break free from the limit of the keyblade's magic and attacked with a magic sphere to fire at them with their guard down. But Sky was not easy to take down and jump out of the way. Taren was about to launch another attack with his keyblade when he got hit in the back by Stormy's lightning attack after appearing from behind.
Bloom gasped after he was hit by a dirty trick from Stormy. "Taren!" She was about to get up when suddenly her body froze and could not get up. "Wha?"
Sky was about to come to help him when he felt his feet were stuck, ice started to appear and encasing his legs to immobilize him where he stood.
"Are you getting cold feet yet?" Icy taunts him and watches the Specialist struggle.
"What the-stop it!" He pulls out a boomerang and throws it at the bridge, breaking it in half, and causing one side to swing towards Icy. Without even giving a glance she freezes it before it can even touch her, before exploding it. The ice continues to climb up Sky's legs and onto his torso, stopping just below the shoulders to further trap him with only his head to move.
Mushu who was unaffected tried to help her to move again while her friends were in danger. "Hey, what's the matter, girl? Why aren't you moving?"
"I don't know! I can't move!" Bloom struggles until she heard a giggling laughter.
"Sorry, but this is just too much fun."
Bloom thought she was hit on the head too hard, but she saw a clown flowing in mid-air-or rather lounging about with his feet up. "So you must be the Winx I heard so much about? The glitter seems to give away. Don't worry about that witch, I made an illusion to keep her busy so I can get a good look at you all."
Taren got up and saw him suspended in mid-air with a smile like he was having fun. Not certain who he is but felt great danger coming from him and rushed over to stand before Bloom with his keyblade out. "Whoever you, this ain't no circus."
Kefka could not help but groan and rolled his eyes to hear the words from the boy. "Do yourself a favour, kid, leave the comedy jokes to the professionals. And you seem a little young for this sort of gig?"
"Hey!" They turned to see Stormy glaring at him. "Who are you? Are you with these losers, clown boy?"
"Ha! Funny, and your name suppose to scare me? I've met villains who are way scarier than you little girl!"
Stormy did not take that tone well of how the stranger suddenly came out of nowhere with a bad sense of fashion. She let out her frustrations by blasting a ball of lighting at him, he didn't seem to be fazed and not move from his spot when he seems to let out a yawn and the ball of lightning stopped just before it could reach him in arms length.
Everyone was shocked to witness this demonstration, even Mushu's jaw dropped.
"Uh, was that supposed to do that?" The dragon asked them.
"Huh?" Stormy had no idea what happened and suddenly the ball of lightning changed course and struck her in an instant speed before she could move, yelled out in pain of being struck by her own magic.
"Aw, you shouldn't have! Here, let me give it back to you!" The blonde haired villain grins and created a powerful force of his magic to send her away before glancing down at Bloom, Taren, and Mushu.
"Much as I love to fun, kiddies, but I promise you that you'll know who I am in a grand entrance!" Flips forward and landed on his feet, bows and waved his hand to them to make his leave. "TTFM. Tata for now!"
Let out a devious chuckle and made a backwards dive off the edge before they could go after him, Bloom was able to break free from the spell and ran next to Taren. They stopped by the edge and found no sign of the mysterious jester anywhere.
"Man, talk about a nutcase with a sense of humor." Mushu scratched the back of his head to ponder what just happened. But they had no time to find out while their friends were in danger.
Icy watches Sky continue to struggle in hopes of breaking free but knew it was futile. "Aww, you're so cute. Too bad 'cause your games up." She taunted him and about to reach her hand out to scratch his face with her nails.
"Hey! Someone say game?" Layla called out in her fairy form, catching Icy's attention. "Cause I'm a big fan of ball games myself!" She made a jump and threw an energy ball at Icy, but the witch catches it in her hand with ease, crushes it in her palm to make it disappear.
Icy could not help but help but chuckle of her feeble attempt. "Pathetic."
Layla was oblivious to Darcy appears behind Layla and hits her in the back with a spell, throwing her to the ground. The Trix joined up and laughed in their moment of victory.
"Harpoon Torpedo!"
The Trix looked up and hear the sound of a missile shot out towards them, exploded upon impact and threw them.
"What was that?!" Stormy cried out.
Darcy spotted a giant furred beast with a horn. "Where did that come from?"
"Forgot us?" Taren appeared alongside Bloom and Agumon, Mushu frew his fists while stood on Agumon's face.
"Yeah, ready for round two!" The dragon proclaimed.
Bloom looked to see both Stella and Sky were okay but had to do something to help them. Before anyone made the next move, a bright golden light in shape of a man with wings appeared above them. The light was so bright it almost blinded them, even the Trix when they could barely see.
Icy tried to shield her eyes from the golden light. "Who is that?!"
"I can't see anything?!" Darcy cried and kept her eyes shut as she can.
"What's going on?!" Stormy asked without knowing who or what was causing the light.
"Should have brought a pair of shades." Mushu shielded his eyes from the bright light. "Does anyone have sunglasses?"
Taren kept his eyes shut and held his free hand over his eyes, but could see a figure who landed beside Layla and kneels before her. "Hey!" But he was stopped by Bloom who held his arm.
"Wait, I think he's helping her." She was indeed correct when they witness him heal Layla using some sort of magic, he then goes to Sky and helps break him free from the ice to make it vanish before finally going and healing Stella. They were now able to get a clear look of their possible saviour he was tall and muscular, with a fair complexion. He has gray eyes, his hair color is indigo with a dark gray streak on each side, it is long and braided, held in place by a light blue long, clothed hair tie.
Stella was awake and looked up at the man with a pair of golden wings flapping. "Would you look at that?" She found herself dreaming and smiled thinking how handsome he as. "A super hunk!"
The Trix were still unable to see after they were blinded by the golden light from the mysterious saviour, unable to see that he was creating a golden orb from his hands above him. "Suphera Capulan Strega Sepherom!"
Completing the spell and threw it at the Trix, they screamed and struggled to break free. No longer able to fight back, he casted them in a great distance with his hand to manipulate the sphere.
The group smiled and cheered for him.
"Okay, that was impressive." Taren had to admit but least the Trix were gone for good.
Bloom would agree with him and approach the man when he landed before them. Thinking of giving the Paladin their thanks to him for the help. "On behalf of everyone I'd like to thank you."
The winged saviour gave a warm smile. "I really couldn't allow those witches to hurt you."
Sky looks at him and assumed he was one of the Templars to chase after the witches when they escaped Light Rock. "Are you... one of the Master Templars from Light Rock?"
Sky kneels before him out of respect.
"No, that's not the case." The man answered.
"Well, least you came in the nick of time." Taren said, and saw Ikkakumon make his way towards Layla before changing back to Gomamon.
"What's your name?" Bloom asked him to find out about him.
"You'll find out soon enough." Turns his attention towared Taren and studied the keyblade in his grip. "So the rumors are true, the wielders of the keyblades have returned to the Magic Dimension. I hope our paths cross again." He kneels before them and flies away.
Taren and Sky look to each other in wonder about him, when they turned around and saw the girls looking up to be in a dreamy gaze, especially Stella.
"Seriously? One look at a hero and girls go like this?" Taren pondered.
Even Sky had the same idea and smiled amusingly. "I just don't understand girls at all."
Mushu knew the look anywhere. "Yeah that's one of the mysteries about women we guys can never understand. And I never understand mortals at all."
Just when he thought it was over, he spotted something flying towards them and fast. "Look out! More monsters!"
Sky thought using the pillars for cover be a chance before they're found. "Quick in here! Before they see us!"
Everyone ran behind the pillars to wait, but Layla stayed where she was alongside Gomamon.
"Layla, you crazy?" Taren asked what she was doing.
"Hurry up!" Sky called out to her.
"Wait!" Layla said and immediately recognised them and smiled with relief. "It's only the pixies. At last."
"Layla!" The pixies cried out collectively, and flying towards her a little too fast.
Gomamon appeared nervous and backed up a little. "Uh, Layla?"
She noticed it as well and stuttered. "Huh? Wait a minute!" But was too late and was knocked to the ground by the pixies. The others cringed by the scene but seems no physical harm came to her.
"Guess she found them after all." Taren said and followed the others to join up to find the all around Layla and how tiny they were.
Layla decided to introduce her friends to each other. "Pixies, these are my new friends: Bloom, Stella, Taren, and Sky."
Stella observes the pixies when suddenly Amore flies over to the surprised blonde. "Oh, what a wonderful person." She spoke with admiration and
The Solarian fairy returned the gesture and smiled back at the pixie for the complement. "My, she's adorable." Stella cooed and found Amore adorable.
Both the boys saw what happened and could not believe what just happened.
"Stella's returning a compliment? What's going on here?" Sky scratched his head to understand what just happened.
"I think I must have hit my head a few times." Taren thought if he was dreaming.
Understanding their confusion, Layla explains to them of the nature of the pixies. "That's the bonding, it's like love at first sight between a fairy and a pixie. Their bond will be unbreakable."
"Like us Digimon?" Agumon asked.
"How interesting, another Digimon?" The pixie in silver flew over to Agumon and studied his features. "What type are you? And can you digivovle like Gomamon?"
"When he's strong enough, he'll be for sure." Taren proclaimed with a grin and stroked Agumon's head.
"I'm Amore, pixie of love." Amore announced herself to her new bonded fairy.
"And I'm Stella, the most loved fairy." Stella proclaimed with a wide smile on her face. Unaware that Taren tries to hold back the snickering to not make a scene. He can imagine how this will turn out if the others see this.
Bloom softly sighs over Stella's moment when she noticed one of the pixies flying over to her. "Hi, I'm Lockette, the pixie of portals. Will you protect me from now on?"
Taren could not help but chuckle and watches Bloom quickly bond with the pink haired pixie. "Well, looks like you made yourself a new friend."
Bloom nodded and smiles back. "Looks like it."
"Those pixies are so sweet, I'm starting to like them."
Darkar was secretly observing the escaped Pixies bond with the fairies, it made him feel disgusted of the scene. Yet, he had a plan and all that was needed was to think of a way to ecourage the pixies to return to their village so that he find what he wanted.
After bonding with the two pixies, they explained to them how they came to the underground caverns, fighting off a horde of monsters and the witches to come save them when they were fortunately saved by the paladin who helped defeat the Trix. "And that's how we were rescued." Bloom said.
But something was on Layla's mind and wanted to know how they escaped when she failed to break the barrier to free them. "Speaking of rescued, how did you manage to get out of the cage?"
"It was easy, all of a sudden the barrier was deleted." Digit answered her question.
"So you weren't rescued by our paladin?" Layla sounded surprise to find out.
Taren found it suspicious and feels like something was wrong here, but he noticed Stella becoming more impatient when they had another issue to deal with and knew what it was.
"I'm sorry, but I'd like to remind you that while we're sitting here chatting, Brandon is probably walking down the aisle. Let's hop to it!"
Sky knew she was right and needed to save Brandon before it's too late. "Stella's right. Come on, everyone, there's no time to lose."
Taren had wondered how his father and their friends were doing on their mission, hoping they were having an easier time than he was.
Dyamond
Sora, Riku, and Lea and found a suitable spot to land the ship, but all they found was nothing but snow and ice, there have been several sightings of large growing shards but no sign of any people about when they landed.
Sora pulled out a thick coat for the climate and explored the town they found, more like ruins and half buried in snow. Obvious signs of the town was attacked by something with buildings half destroyed, debris everywhere. He felt pity and remorse for the people who have either perished or fled for safety, but never know what happened here.
"Wonder what happened to this place?" Riku came up behind him and followed him into an empty building.
Sora glanced over to his best friend to respond after picking up a table. "No clue, according to the headmistress she claimed this was some sort of base for Tezzeret's forces. So far we haven't seen any or the Grimm." Clearly it must have been abandoned or not touched for some time, if there were Grimm they were no doubt gone after the war. However, he was uncertain it was unguarded. "What about Lea?"
"He's doing a little scouting and better make it quick, not sure why but feel we should stay close to the Ebon Hawk." They agreed to take this mission to do some scouting and not to stay too long should they draw any unwelcome attention.
"Good idea, could have brought Donald and Goofy, but they had their hands full at the club house." Sora searched for anything through the pile, so far it seemed to have been an inn. Stopped when he heard some objects fell, sprinted on their feet when Sora was about to call for his keyblade until Riku raised his hand to stop him and whispers with his other hand pointing forwards to wards the table on the side. "Coming from over there."
Sora nodded and crept alongside him to make little noises as possible, believe to be someone who followed them and thought of an idea. "Think we would just check out the next place, could perhaps be a little." Looking at Riku to give a look to play a long, hiding his keyblade away from being seen.
Riku got the idea and went with it as they moved closer to the table. "Yeah, maybe we should head off, nothing worth finding HERE!" They grabbed the table and threw it aside to surprise who or whatever was behind it.
Instead, they just found a small white fox with the end of its tail grey or blue.
They looked at each other and back down to the surprised fox before they let out a chuckle. "Well, here's what we found. It was just a fox." Sora chuckled and called off his keyblade when they were not in any danger.
"Yeah, imagine that we be attacked by a little fox." Riku joked about but surprised to find something living out here. "But what's it doing out here? Looks a little small, maybe a pup?"
Sora thought so too when he thought of it. "Maybe, probably just poking around." He turned to the fox and waved his hand across. "Its okay, you can go."
They watched the white fox make its leave and scurries away but able to know if the fox was able to find the others when they spotted Lea running towards them in a hurry when he ran through the snow.
"Lea, what's up?" Riku asked him when the chakram wielder spotted them and stopped before the two.
Lea took a moment before he spoke to respond. "We better get going, I just spotted a number of people from the hills and coming towards where we are now."
"Could it be survivors?" Sora pondered.
However, Lea shook his head. "Not if they carried weapons and have giant ice monsters with them."
"Could be scouts then, which means we know this place isn't completely abandoned." Riku speculated and received nods from the two who had the same assumption. "Think its time we made our leave, can't let them know who we really are."
Sora nodded. "Good idea." Just as they were about to leave, an arrow shot out of the sky and coming straight towards them. "Look out!" But the arrow's trajectory wasn't aimed at them but over took the surprise keybladers.
"GAH!"
They heard a startled cry and turned to see a person who hid behind a wall and fell to the ground with the arrow lodged into the chest. Having no idea that they had been followed until now but whoever did it could be on their side, or just a misfire.
"Think it's time we left." Sora eagerly sprinted off with Riku and Lea, not wanting to stick around to find out what happened. Using Flowmation through the town to gain some distance and spotted the Ebon Hawk.
A giant snow monster made up of rocks, snow, ice and crystals in its body emerged from the ground, standing 10 feet high and made its way towards the trio.
"Wait!" Lea stopped him. "I'll take care of this guy, you help Riku get the ship running and I'll follow." Sora nodded and runs inside the ship.
Lea's hands were engulfed in flames and unleashed a wave of fire to strike at the monster before it could get close to them. The flame caught the monster by surprise and stumbled backwards to get some distance, trying to extinguish it with the arms before the flames would melt it, however Lea did not let it have the chance when he summoned the Bond of the Blaze to dash towards the giant and struck several times with his keyblade before changing it to a pair of flaming chakrams and threw them towards the legs to slice through.
The monster fell with a loud crash in the snow, but Lea did not stop and jumped in the air and struck down his keyblade with a wave of fire to cleave through the ice like butter-or melted snow in a sense.
"Never much for the cold anyway." He muttered and brushed his gloved hands with a job done. While tolerating the cold weather, he was more towards the warmer climate and never thought Dyamond be this freezing.
"Lea, hurry up!" Riku called out to him from the ship.
"Yeah, I'm coming." Lea made his way over and just in time when the Ebonhawk closes its hatched door and takes off, the thrusters glow as the engines came to lie and tilted upwards to take flight into the air.
The ship was able to make a clean escape and set the ship to return to Magix.
Riku sighs and sat down on the chair. "Okay, that was a close one."
"Yeah, imagine Elsa's face when she hears about some ice monsters we found on another world." Sora said and turned to Lea. "Thanks for the help, Lea."
Lea gave a friendly grin and chuckled. "Don't mention it. And whoever fired that arrow was a surprise."
"But who fired that arrow?" Riku pondered when they had no idea.
"No clue, but I did got something interesting when I was having a look around." Lea said and held out a camera. "Took a few snapshots and be interesting to share what we found on Dyamond."
Sora nodded in approval to know that this wasn't all a complete loss for them, clearly whoever it was down there wanted to prevent them from getting to close to what they found. But one thing they never understand was fired that arrow and why help them? There appears to be more questions than answers and hardly found any since this all started. One thing for certain, this brought back memories of the time with the Organization and can only hope history doesn't repeat itself.
He just hopes his son and his friends are doing okay with their own mission. Hana should be fine on Magix and having some fun with the Winx.
I hope you enjoyed it as the next chapter will be worked into for the final pixie rescue arc and once that is over, there will be some divergence for the heroes having their own adventures to other worlds while the Winx follow theirs but some differences will occur with some and the specialists to tag along, and not to worry Agumon will have his moment along with Palmon and Gabumon. I've been getting some requests for ideas with Mirta, not to worry I have plans for her as well and did find that they had ideas for her. Now that the heroes have met Kefka, but won't be the last time when they will soon learn more about the god of magic and what sinister plot he has will no doubt be trouble for the heroes.
So did a little change of the battle scene while the Trix still won but had trouble with Taren who came with them and more experienced in combat than the Trix thanks to the training he took. And now proved to summon anything in the Magic Dimension, choosing the great and powerful Mushu!
As for the part on Dyamond, if you spotted something it will be a surprise and will reveal the mysterious archer who helped the Sora, Riku and Lea.
