The raid proved solid. They took the entire main target and secured all the weapons. The fringe hitters were taken out in relatively short order. The Shia baddies here had gotten the clear message that they were not gonna be able to conduct their ops here without challenge. Again, if only America could have done that sooner cap thought. Sabra had led another assault simultaneous to cap's in the northern section of Haifa. She radioed in that they had been successful as well. There had been arms there as well but not as many as the target cap had just hit with his force. Cap's target appeared to be the main depot for jihadi ordinance. Haifa made sense as an ideal target. It was a coastal city and was easily accessed by smugglers and gun runners to depots like this. And with this hit the intel had also illuminated their supply routes. He pulled it out. It's Sharon. Sabra caught the name on his caller Id and pulled her hand away. "Excuse me." "Of course."
Cap moved off to the side as the idf continued containment and intel/forensic gathering efforts. "Hello." "Steve." "Hey Sharon. How's it going?" "Busy; but it sounds like you've been busier still." "You could say that." "Director hill has us watching this closely." "I can understand why. This is a dangerous situation with high escalation potential." Silence. "You okay?" Sharon "yeah… it's just…" she struggled with what she really wanted to say. Cap frowned a little. First avenger "you can tell me anything Sharon. You know that." "I do…"

Another silent moment occurred between them. He turned off to the side. There ahead of him Sabra spoke with a number of idf and other Israeli security officers. She looked back at him and smiled as this occurred. He nodded at her. He then turned away.
"What's gonna happen next over there?" She asked. He exhaled. "Hard to say. Idf is going full scale with their military efforts. I can definitely say that much. I won't lie Sharon: I'm not opposed to escalation. Israel needs to bury these bastards for good. No compromise."
