Tell me these words are a lie

King Simba felt on edge ever since his grandmother told him about her dreams. He had two of the best fighters in the pride shadowing his son in case Asra's dreams come true.

"Morning, your majesty."

The gold lion turned to see one of his oldest cousins. Nadir. "We're family. No need need for formalities."

The dark cream, dark brown mane lion smiled before walking in step with his mother's great-nephew.

The cousins were in a general conversation when a loud scream pierced through the air followed by multiple roars some that didn't belong to Desta and Artem who were assigned to shadow Kopa.

Simba and Nadir shared a concern look, both thinking the same thing. Kopa!

It cant be true

That I'm losing you

The sun cannot fall from the sky

Simba and Nadir raced across the kingdom to come to the gorge on the northern border. To their horror, Zira was there, along with Gwen.

Just like Asra's dream! Simba thought in horror.

But the horrified part was that the pale tan lioness was attacking the prince.

"Get away from him, Zira!" Simba roared, which felt like the ground shook.

Zira looked up with a evil smile as blood dripped from her muzzle. Zira laughed darkly. "You are a fool. Pathetic, couldn't save your son just like you were useless to save your father."

With a quick movement of her paw, Zira sent the tawny cub over the edge of the gorge.

"No!" Simba cried as he ran over to see the river swallow the small cub.

With a snarl Simba went to attack but instead Nadir pounced on Zira. His green eyes and body full of rage.

Can you hear heaven cry

Tears of an angel

Tears of aaaaaaaa...

Tears of an angel

Tears of an angel.

Stop every clock

Stars are in shock

Simba had no choice but to stand back and watch as Nadir and Zira fought for blood.

Nadir had pent up anger that fueled his adrenaline. Zira was just obsessed with avenging Scar. But as the fight went on, Nadir's adrenaline rush was dying out. Nadir knew it was loosing battle but he was determined to get at least a few hits.

Zira roared out and pain from Nadir striking her across the face before she hit Nadir across the face, sending the dark cream lion over the edge.

Zira growled before looking over the edge. Nadir's eyes widened as he cling the side of the cliff. As he looked into Zira's eyes, he knew he was done.

"You can finally meet your freak of a mother..."

Zira was about to reach down when a multiple roars reached her ears. Zira turned her attention from Nadir to over her shoulder to see Simba rush over with Nala and some of his pride heading her way.

"The prince is dead, we're finished here!"

Gwen nodded, she and Zira quickly dashed off just as Simba ran over.

Simba growled at Gwen and Zira's retreating form before looking over the edge and gasped.

"Nadir!"

The river will flow to the sea

I wont let you fly

I wont say goodbye

Nadir could feel his claws slipping. He looked up and saw Simba reaching for him. He closed his eyes and the words of Zira ran through his head. Meet his mother, finally.

Nadir looked at Simba and wanted to reach but his paws started to slip.

King Simba's orange eyes widened as he watched his cousin slip further down.

"Give me your paw! I'll save you!"

I wont let you slip away from me

Can you hear heaven cry

Tears of an angel

Tears of aaaaaaaa...

Tears of an angel

Tears of an angel.

Duke Nadir looked from Simba to see his mate and daughter. Some how his eyes was stuck on Amanda. The four month goldish female had tears streaming down her face.

So hold on Be strong

Everyday on we'll go

I'm here, dont you fear

Little one dont let go

(ooooooooooohhhhhhhhh)

Dont let go

(ooooooooooohhhhhhhhh)

Nadir looked at his family, his sobbing mate and daughter just as he lost his grip.

Dont let go

(ooooooooooohhhhhhhhh)

Dont let go

(ooooooooooohhhhhhhhh)

"Noooooo, papa!" Amanda cried as tears fell from her young light brown eyes.

Nadir closed his eyes as the raging river swallow him whole.

The moon shined brightly against the dark sky as the stars sparkled. A cool breeze went through the land, swaying the grass back and forth. Along with with a wind, the breeze carried the sound of weeping. Nala had returned to pride rock hours ago with the rest and informed the pride of the devastating news, of their future king and as well as their pride members.

The tawny lioness sat at the peak as the night's breeze blew by, ruffling her fur as well as carry her mate's cries.

"You should go to him..."

Nala looked behind her to see her mother. The aging pale cream lioness had tears in her light green eyes. Nala sobbed as she ran to her mother. Sarafina closed her eyes and nuzzled her daughter.

"Yes, we lost so many but they're with Kopa and Mufasa."

Nala cried harder, her son was murdered as well as her friends. She didn't know what hurt worse, the fact that out of this attack. Sherise is a orphan.

"Nala, you have to talk to Simba. You both need time to handle what happened and young Sherise needs a family. Obviously, Kula isn't stepping up not with her recently finding out she's pregnant."

Nala watched her mother head in the cave before heading towards the gorge. Simba was where they left him, with his head low and crying.

"You feel guilty too? Don't you?"

Simba opening his puffy eyes and looked at his mate, he nodded. "More than you ever know." he looked back at the river, that was now calm as though nothing happened. "That poor cub...We must take her in. Did Zira leave like I ordered?"

Nala thrust her head under Simba's and sighed. "Yes. Malka and Safi made sure that all Scar's followers left the Pridelands."

Simba growled. "Good. If she ever comes back I will kill her."

Simba lowered his head once again and cried. The gold lion was brought out out of his thoughts by a soft nuzzle from his mate.

"There's no amount of words that can explain how I feel. For our friends and Kopa...but they wouldn't want us to grieve...especially since..."

Simba nuzzled the tawny lioness for her to go on. "Since what?"

Nala took a deep breath before replying. "Simba, I'm pregnant again."

Simba couldn't put a paw on the emotions that was running through him. He was going to be a father again. With a heavy sigh he smiled, Nala was right.

They need to move on...it will take time and it will be hard but at least they'll have Kopa and everyone who has died in vain watching over them.
