His Silent Scream
Chapter 48
Author Notes: Boy am I done with that last chapter. And in celebration of both getting passed that hurdle and...surprisingly the time this specific chapter is posted-its exam time lol. Isn't nice to know you poor souls who are still in school aren't the only ones to suffer? I do not own Yugioh

"Your time starts now!" Crowler places the timer down on his desk, his lips twisted in a frown as he stalked his students. Keeping his eyes peeled for any sort of cheating that could be going on. His exam was simple. Write an essay on the foundations of Philosophy and how it has impacted your life.
It was a more subjective and personal test when compared to his midterm assignment which was more standard in material based on the terminology and definitions. But this gave him the opportunity to see his student's perspective of life and the critical focus made in said life.
It also showed if they were paying attention to his lectures. He hums slightly as his gaze find a messy set of blue spikes. Out of all the years he's been teaching at this school, enlightening his students, that particular boy left quite the impact on him.
Jehu Anderson had shown the most improvement and understanding of his teachings. Though he expected it was due to his tutor or some such Yami mentioned earlier in the year. Still he couldn't help but smile as he quickly took a glance at his answers.
His spelling and grammar FAR better and used correctly as he wrote about the impact this course has had on him. Whoever was responsible for Jehu's changes Crowler was eternally grateful for. He could actually read his handwriting and grade him on the actual material.

Banner nodded his head as he took account of all his students present before offering a peaceful smile. For once he forwent his usual cup of tea as he brought out the exam packets he prepped for his test.
"Alright class, it is time for your AP Forensics final. I have provided you a little story involving information about a victim. After you read it, you will be answering the questions based on the story using the knowledge you have gained this year." Everyone was ready.
And glad that Banner was for once unable to get on his hands on an actual body for them to examine. Much to the older man's disappointment. Haou snorted to himself as his professor wished them all the best of luck.
There were so many classmates around him sighing in relief at the news. It didn't take him long at all scanning through the papers handed his way. Even without his photographic memory, this was a piece of cake. After all forensics WAS his best subject.

Alexis was forcing the butterflies in her stomach to calm down as she went to the center of the dance studio room. Giving a small bow to her class before speaking with a small nervous smile. Her teacher gave her an encouraging nod-allowing her to begin her presentation.
"Hi guys. For my final, I decided to research the dance style Capoeira. It was founded in Brazil. It's origins is interesting since it's actually martial arts disguised as a dance." She knew the material by heart at this point.
Her oral portion was only supposed to go for five or so minutes, and the dance portion two. Though she had no issues about talking about it, performing it was a different story. It was a very acrobatic style that emphasized strong kicks and quick movement. Her hazel eyes met her assistant and boyfriend's gazes.
Both of them giving her a smile to boost her confidence. She could do this. "Now. Both me and my partner for this dance, Damon will show you a few moves before we do our performance." It was Damon's' cue to stand up along with the rest of the class. Atticus arriving just in time to watch the show. "Go sis!"

Chazz was so bored. Mr. Zaloog was rambling on and on about the test. Wasting his precious time. In all honesty he couldn't even begin to understand why he was even here. He already could fluently speak four languages and write two of those four with ease.
And one of those languages was Latin! The mother of all European tongues. Why were his brothers insistent that he take Spanish? "Vamos a empezar!" Rolling his eyes in irritation the young Princeton grabs his pencil.
It only takes him five minutes to read through all the questions and another twenty to finish his exam. He easily hands it in, smirking at his classmates looking at him with envy. As far as schools go, the one he was currently in wasn't so bad.
There were still legions of idiots here for his beck and call. And for the most part his brothers and sister left him alone to where he could do what he wants for a change. No pressure, no snark, hell not even an order. None of them were the same after middle school.
Their parents were still jerks though, choosing to send him away to a hospital to help him get over his trauma. Acting like they cared for him the entire time when the reality was they didn't want to seem heartless in the papers after the incident took place.
Only to practically ditch him once the press moved on to the next big scoop. Despite getting what he essentially wanted, there was little for him to be truly happy about. "Idiots. All of them." Snorting he reaches for his phone.
Checking the time before going through his messages. "Just another week. Then I'll be free." A grin was planted on his face as he readjusted his bag. Walking down the empty hall, his future coming closer and closer.

"I'm taking a cue from Haou and disowning you Papa." Yami gave her was light smack on the head with his textbook. "No talking or I deduct points." Pouting Yoko went back to her test, still mentally cursing her dad. Why was this so much harder then the practice sheet he gave them!?
The history teacher gave a small yawn before walking towards a raised hand. He couldn't flat out give answers, but he could steer his students in the right direction. At the very least he made the kids less likely to pull their hair out as they go about taking all the important events and dates to create a timeline for American History.

Adrien came prepared this time around. "Dude what the hell are you wearing?" The red head was covered head to toe in a hazmat suit. "Protection." Not caring if his classmates thought he looked ridiculous. He was Not going to have a repeat of what happened earlier this year.
Their teacher Mr. Franz claps his hands together in joy. "Adrien for being so cautious and well prepared you get an additional five points added to your score." No matter what he was going to pass.
"What!? No fair!" Not only did he pay attention in class but he was forced to be Atticus's partner. "Nice~" Anyone who could survive the whole school year working with Atticus deserved a reward. Mr. Franz was SO happy the elder Rhode sibling was graduating this year.
Actually many of his teachers were relieved to see him go. He was a good guy, but ohhh was he frustrating to deal with in class. "Follow the manual and don't blow my lab up...Again!"

"Ici tu vas père." Mr. Bonaparte beamed as he accepted his son's test. The students temporarily blinded from the sight. The old man Never smiled. Yet here he was, hugging the freshman with tears in his eyes. "Merci beaucoop. Well done." Marcel sighed in relief, glad he managed to finish as he made his way back to his seat.
His fingers eagerly grabbing a book from his backpack. His dad had told him he as well as everyone else that they could leave when their test was done. But Marcel knew his girlfriend was going to take forever to finish her test. Poor Blair was dealing with her worst subject. Algebra with Mr. Mathematica.
That teacher was brutal with his teachings, locking the door so that people couldn't come into his class and disrupt him. No matter what he was going to be waiting on her. So he figured he'd at least get some reading done in his seat. He had to remember to thank Haou for the new recommendation.

On the last day of exam everyone met up in the school cafeteria, comparing answers and stories. "Mr. Franz is going to flunk me! I just know it!" Alexis had no pity for her brother and was more concerned with how everyone else did.
She knew he was screwed because of his antics. "I think I did pretty well considering everything." Jehu gave his boyfriend a deadpanned stare as Haou went about eating his Anderson grilled cheese special.
"You barely had any classes! And even in your worst class with Mr. Shades you still finished before anyone else!" Chazz laughed as his friend shrugged, taking another bite. Yoko groaned as she thought about her exam.
Jim shaking his head as he patted her back affectionately. "Speaking of Papa's class-what was he thinking!? He had our test be a full on timeline with mix-matched dates and events! How is anyone supposed to remember all that!? Who could!?"
Chazz, Marcel, Bastion and of course Haou raised their hands. Pissing her off all the more. "Fuck all of you brainiacs!" Syrus smiled nervously as reread his textbook. He still had one more final to take and he was getting worried. Zane glanced down at his brother.
Reading the paragraphs from above. "You'll be fine Syrus, English is your best subject." The shorter teen frowned, disagreeing with the statement. "I'm not ready!" Hassleberry wrapped his shoulder's around him, giving a crushing side hug.
"You'll do fine private!" At the very least he was going to do better than Hassleberry. He Hated English and was already held back once because he couldn't understand the material. Something Haou was trying to fix.
With a full stomach and knowing the sophomore was simply going to try and wing it Haou puts on his reading glasses. "Pull out your books Tyranno. We're doing a session before your final." His tone held no nonsense as the solider in training grabbed his stuff.
Scrambling for the hell he was about to undergo. "Sir yes sir!" Chazz raised an eyebrow at the scene. "Is this normal?" Jehu chuckled, the only person unaffected with the scene. He knew exactly how this was going to play out.
"Haou is a fiend when it comes to studying. I'll bet twenty bucks Tyranno here is going to pass his test with flying colors." Whether he actually passes the class is another thing entirely. "Help me too Haou! Can you go over Shakespere!?" It was never a dull moment for Haou as his eyes flashed.
Those poor unfortunate souls had no idea what they've just signed up for. But Jehu did...all too well. And could only bow his head in their honor. They shall be missed.
to be continued
