A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 4: Bridging the gap [part 9]
Gin could not help but smile, as he met his favorite toy. Rukia Kuchiki.
The infamous criminal of all time.
First she killed the head of the Shiba clan, vice-captain of 13th squad. And caused their entire clan to live nomadic life.
And now, she gave her shinigami powers to a human. The worst type of crime any shinigami can commit, according to its existing law.
And thus, she has to face the Sokyuko execution. Which had never been used as a punishment for hundreds of years. Because of its brutality.
And yet, she looked calm.
As though, she expected it.
Accepted it as a challenge.
She's indeed fascinating, but she would be more beautiful if her face is contorted with depression and hopelessness.
Gin thought, as he approached the entourage of guards securing the Kuchiki princess from escaping, and escorting her to her death.
And his words gave her hope, and then took her resolve away.
"Bye bye" Gin said gleefully as he left her fallen on her knees.

Rukia could only stare at the ground after shouting her pain away.
After Ichigo and Byakuya's fight on the bridge due to Hanataro and the youngest Shiba's failed rescue of her, she had come to terms with her punishment.
And does not want anyone to get hurt anymore for her sake, and Gin gave her hope, for her and Ichigo, and his friends safety.
But he was just joking about it.
How could he?!
How could someone gave you hope, and then break it.
