The day after they met Alliot was an intense day for the small red dragon. He was playing with his claws nervously. He had so many questions about why Alliot and his father were in the past. He had more, but those would wait for when the two dragons meet. He wanted to pull his hair, but didn't.
He was stressing out because his father was coming too. So many things happened since he last met his father. He became an Omni Lord and found all the Cavalry Dragons. He walked left and right, what will my father do? Will he be pissed off at me or he won't mind? What is he going to do when I just turned out as an Omni Lord? Would he punish me for doing something like that when I have to take over everything one day? What would happen when those two meets? Are they going to blow up the house?
He then rolled on the ground as those questions multiplied in his mind. He knew it would be painful if his father wasn't happy or approving of this. He rested on the ground. He looked at the ceiling of his buddy's chamber. There was nothing else he could do. He had to face this and be an adult, "Tenbu. Please give me strength."
He heard someone snickering and turned around.
Doble was at the entrance and had a large grin, "Why are you rolling on the ground like that?" his mocking tone didn't go well with the red dragon.
Drum stood up and replied, "My father is coming. You don't know him?" he pressed his snout against the other dragon, "If you knew who he was, you would have done the same? Especially if he was your father. You have no idea how much pressure he puts on my shoulders and his punishments."
"Well… he is a dragon of a grand status, from what I heard," the orange dragon gazed at the side.
"Want to test him? He might forget about punishing me if you try that," the Omni Lord asked.
"I am not crazy enough to try that risk," Doble replied as he pushed his snout against the other dragon.
"You think so?" Drum replied as their snout began to flattened by the pressure.
They broke up and crossed their arms. They huffed for a few seconds.
Fuad appeared and hugged the two of them, "You look like long lost brothers!"
"We aren't brothers!"
"He said look like," Arkaid replied with a smile on her face, "Doble can be really handful to handle sometimes."
The orange dragon gazed at the side and grumbled a few things. He eventually went on, "We should get ready. Your dad and Alliot will show up their snout soon. I wonder what your dad looks like."
"Us too," Fuad replied as he released them.
They walked down in the living room, to wait for the elder dragon and the Cavalry Dragon.
Episode 48: Reconnect
Drum tapped the ground a little nervously. His father was there soon. The expectations of what might come were heavy on his shoulders.
The Cavalry Dragons gazed at each other's wondering what was in the mind of their Omni Lord.
Gao was by the side of his buddy and tapped his shoulder, "You don't have to panic about your dad."
Halberd nodded, "He has more chance to have a fang against Alliot. Depending on their history. I know little about them."
"What do you know?" Drum asked.
"I heard that those two had often been in competitions against one another. Alliot tried to prove he was stronger than your father. He never won. Except from that, your father didn't say anything else to me. I never met the two together, so you have to take my words for it."
"What about you?" Gao asked the Cavalry Dragons.
Melgax raised his shoulders, "I don't know. Alliot never said anything about their relationship. He just said that he will be stronger than him one day. That day still didn't come."
Doble chuckled, "I guess he will try to fight your dad today."
"My dad is much older now. Did he try to fight my dad when he was a kid?" the red dragon was confused about this.
"No. We will explain everything later. Your father will probably ask that question anyway," Merak replied as he meditated.
Buzzsaw looked at everyone, "Now that you mention it, I am wondering that myself. With how long everything passed, I should have been old and you too Arkaid."
"We pretty much went through the same phenomenon. You will understand soon enough," the female dragon replied.
The Sun Fighter chuckled. He stopped when someone knocked the door, "I wonder if they came at the same time?" he went and answered the door. He gazed down and saw an orange dragon with his green scarf over his mouth, "You must be Alliot."
"Yes human. I came here to finish my business with someone," he walked in.
Suzumi crossed her arms, "You shouldn't talk to my son like that," a little bit of a dark aura shined around her.
Alliot noticed the aura and coughed a few times, "S-sorry. Thank you for letting me in."
Doble laughed loudly when the attitude of the dragon changed. He put his hands over his chest, "You just deflated over her!" he jumped when the mother of the boy turned towards him, "S-sorry."
No one wanted to laugh.
The guest walked in the living room and sat down. He crossed his arms and said nothing to the other dragons.
"He's the last Cavalry Dragon?" Hanako asked when she saw near him.
The dragon in question slid a little away from her. He huffed and turned his head.
"Yes. He made a terrible first impression," Halberd replied as he frowned at her. The red dragon wanted to show him a little lesson in respect. He sighed, "We just need for your father to come. He might be here soon, knowing him."
"He is never late," Suzumi came as she offered something to eat to the dragons.
Alliot wondered if he could take something. Her aura was still fresh in his mind. The dragon asked, "Can I take a dumpling?"
"No problem, but hurry up," she replied.
The dragon saw the other dragons, except Arkaid, already eating them, "Hey!" he then grabbed a few and ate them.
The dragons were casually talking while waiting for the last dragon to show up.
The Mikado's family watched this and didn't know what to say. They weren't expecting in the past to have that many dragons in the same house. Still, they didn't have any problem as they weren't difficult and didn't complain about the lack of space. With Alliot, it was the last dragon to show up.
"Thanks for Tenbu's gift, we won't get out of the house," the father commented.
"He thought that far ahead," his wife replied.
The door knocked. Drum froze in place for a few seconds. He knew who was coming. His scales paled a little as he wondered what he should do. He turned towards the door. He decided to be the one to greet him. If it was his father and not someone else. He walked in front of the door and opened it. Just as he thought, it was his dad, "Hi father."
"You wanted me to come for an emergency," the XIII grumbled with a bit of amusement. The older dragon looked like his son, but his skin had darker tones and was covered with scars. He gazed with his gray eyes at his son and noticed something a little different. He sighed as he put his white made away from his face. He wore an old gray armor.
The other dragons looked at each other's. Doble asked, "What did he told him?"
Mizaru raised his shoulders, "He probably didn't explain the specific."
"Or his father is toying with us," Arkaid commented as she noticed the smallest among them turning red.
Drum gulped and replied, "I told you the reason. I didn't just say that!"
"I know. I was just messing with him," he gazed at Alliot, "Been a while shorty."
The orange dragon took his real form and pushed the young red dragon away, "Don't call me shorty! Call me Alliot you gramps!"
The XIII had an anger vein on his head, "I still have many good years you know."
"I can see many signs that you are getting on the less side of many," Alliot grinned. He yelped when the older dragon pulled his cheeks.
Drum felt like him and Alliot did the same before. At the same time, he was flabbergasted by his father sudden change of attitude. He never saw his dad pulling anything like that. He was acting a little childish. Not even in his dreams would he see the XIII put such an act. Even his grandfather, Fang Slade Terrestrial The XII was silent about this kind of attitude. His grandfather, who passed away, told him that his father was serious, brave, strong and fearless. Not that he would pull someone's cheeks because he insulted him or call someone shorty.
Everyone watched this and didn't know what to say or do.
Buzzsaw sighed, "It's like seeing your heroes and realising that they suck," he snickered, "Makes them normal."
Drum's universe shattered around him. He wasn't sure if it was for the better or for the worse, "F-father… You…" he was on his knees as darkness surrounded him. He lost his awareness of the situation.
His father held the other dragon and scratched his skull and chuckled, "Come on shorty! It's been a long time!"
"Stop this you fatso jerk!" Alliot grunted back at him.
The XIII released him, "You barely put a fight and-" he then realised that his son was in a dark space. Not only that, but he noticed he wore a different armor. He pushed that aside, "I can't believe you didn't age at all. What did you eat?"
"Anything better than what you ate," the other one replied.
"You will regret this soon enough," the elder dragon chuckled evilly.
The other one huffed, not intimidated by the other one. He also seemed to want the older dragon to try.
The XIII chuckled and turned his attention to his son, "Son. What happened to you? You are trying to look more like me and less like your mother?" he crossed his arms. He talked about his son scales color.
The red dragon recovered and gazed at his father. He still didn't go over what he witnessed.
"What?"
"You… You…" his son didn't dare to say anything else.
"Oh. That. It was for good old time. I was young too Drum. You will turn out like me soon," the XIII replied.
"That means fat," Doble chuckled. He painfully whined when his snout was whipped by the tail of the leader of Dragon World.
The other Cavalry Dragons chuckled together as they watched their comrade trying to get over it.
Gao tapped the head of his buddy, "You have a lot to say."
"And it's best that you are the one to answer this Drum. He is your father," Halberd said while his buddy sat by his side. He checked on Hanako and smiled when she was okay.
Drum gulped and called his courage. He turned into his real form, letting his father watch how different he looked now. He sighed and looked in the eyes of his father, "A lot happened since last time I visit you," he scratched the back of his head. He then revealed the Omni Lord Emblem, "Grandpa Tenbu died against the Great Fiend Yamigedo and I become the new Fourth Omni Lord. I'll explain more later, but I have to fulfill Tenbu's wish and learn my duty as an Omni Lord."
The XIII eyes shrunk a little. He let out his façade of stern father as his son told him his heavy duty now resting on his shoulders. He put it back, knowing it was pointless after his little time with Alliot, "You better not screw this up. Son, you cannot afford to be lazy or just relax like that. You are the Omni Lord, representing Dragon World. You hear me?"
"Yeah father," he gazed at the side.
His father dropped his façade and hugged his son, "Damn. You mother would have been so proud of you. Never thought you'll turn up this way. You better train hard. I'm serious about it. If it isn't enough, I'll personally trained you," his eyes shined.
The mark of affection was dented by the obvious devilish undertone of his dad. He mentally cried for a few seconds, "T-thanks."
The XIII released his son and smirked at him.
"I still miss Grandpa Tenbu," the XIV sighed as he gazed at the side.
"It's okay to miss him, but you better continue your mission and respect his wishes."
"Of course, father."
Alliot watched a little bit of their interactions. He crossed his arms. From the little he heard, it was clear that Drum didn't got everything from birth, but had to earn it, of course. It's him we are talking about. He would never let his son get everything from free when he himself had to fight for it. I should have known, he gazed down. He also recognised that Drum respected his wishes. His tail tapped the ground a little before he went out of his thought. The orange dragon closed his eyes for a few seconds and waited.
"Damn. Too much on your shoulders," the XIII whispered as he walked away from his soon and approached the dragon with his green scarf of his face. He sat down, "It's been so long since I saw you. I'm glad to see you are doing fine."
"Yeah. I went with Tenbu and learned how to fight like as a Cavalry Dragon," Alliot replied with a small smile.
"And you got stronger?"
"Yeah. Strong enough to beat you," he replied with a smirk.
"We might see this later. First, maybe we should eat something. I am getting hungry. I didn't eat when I knew I would come here," The XIII commented as he scratched his belly.
"Yeah. We still haven't eaten that much," Drum sighed while the Cavalry Dragons did the same.
"We just have an entrée at best," Fuad chuckled.
Gao's grandmother walked to the kitchen with Suzumi. The two prepared more to eat as the dragons continued to speak together.
"And you lots are the Cavalry Dragons who will watch over my son?" He asked them with a small smile.
The dragons nodded together with a small smile. Only Alliot wasn't nodding and just huffed.
Gao's smiled, "And we are here to help him. We need to stop Yamigedo."
"And can I know about this Yamigedo?"
Everyone explained who he was and what he did. Drum told him about the battle against the Great Fiend and what happened to Ikazuchi. Once the name of that boy was brought up, Suzumi looked at the side and said nothing.
The XIII noticed it and knew there was something else going on. He said nothing about it. He focused on the mission of his son, "And with that boy's gone, he will get more violent. You have to beware of it," he warned them.
Halberd nodded, "We are getting the Omni Lords to find a way to stop him. We only need to find a few more and we will be ready to fight them. I will, of course, make sure to protect my buddy at all cost."
"And I'll make sure he's okay," Hanako raised her hands and smiled.
The others nodded. Arkaid let out a small smile as she gazed at the two. She found the two to be made to be together like that.
The XIII observed the purple dragon, "And you must me…"
"I'm Buzzaw. I am a friend of Arkaid when she grew up," he replied. He then explained a bit more what happened to him.
"I never heard of anything about Yamigedo," he grumbled.
"That was before you took control of Dragon World. I remember it because there we weren't unified as before," Melgax dropped his had as he thought back. He nodded to himself and let out a small smile.
"That is interesting," the XIII said as he suddenly felt like most of the Cavalry Dragons were probably older than himself. It was a strange feeling that he tried to ignore; how much would I give to feel like in the good old days? He asked himself. He pushed that aside as they wouldn't be any answers, "Things are different than in your time," he gazed at his son, "We will welcome you back if you wish so."
The purple dragon didn't know what to day. He was pensive while his friend gazed at him with a large smile, "I'll think about it," he came from another era of Dragon World and wouldn't understand it. Being on Earth, with the really good food, was comforting. He couldn't even imagine what Dragon World would look like now.
Alliot stood up and flexed his muscles, "Anyway fatso. I need to show you that I'm much stronger than you now."
The XIII grinned, "That looks interesting. I miss those old sparring where I beat you time and time again. It will be good to relive those good old days."
The orange dragon puffed as smoke came out of his nostrils, "Those 'good old time' are over old fatso."
"Oh. I am going to enjoy turning you into a pulp," the older dragon commented as he was on fire. He cracked his knuckles, "When are you ready?"
"Not right now. You all need to digest a little," Suzumi ordered as she crossed her arms, "Also, you better no trash the house," her eyes shined for a second.
Drum's father chuckled with a smirk, "Of course we wouldn't. It will be like last time. Thanks for the help of Gao of course."
It had been a while since they used a card like that. The boy forgot he had one for that, "Y-yeah. I never really used it since then and I forgot about it."
The dragons chuckled at how such a spell could have been forgotten. Drum stopped as he had to admit his buddy was right.
Halberd asked, "How are you going to decide who win? Because it better not be a battle to the death."
"It won't go that far," the XIII replied. He showed his muscles, "Either until someone yielded, unconscious or cannot stand up after four seconds. We always did that. He always gave up."
"And how many times you knocked Alliot down?" Doble asked.
"Zero. He always gave up in the end," he smirked.
The orange dragon jumped in the air and waved his arms, "That's not true!"
"It is."
"Not!"
"We should begin the battle now, before they exhausted themselves in those petty insults," Buzzsaw suggested.
Drum saw his father smiling as he argued with the Cavalry Dragon, they were really good friends.
"I'm ready to fight," the XIII changed the subject.
"You are going to regret it," the other dragon took his real form.
Gao took out his card and casted the spell.
It wasn't long before they were in the arena. It was a large colosseum with seats around the battleground where the two dragons were. The others watched it from afar, not wanting to get crossed in their fight.
Doble crossed his arms, "Who thinks Alliot will give up before he gets knocked out? Because I do."
Everyone presents raised their hands.
Alliot saw that, "Screw all of you!" He noticed Halberd dark aura after he said that, "Except you-" the aura was bigger and pointed at Hanako, "H-Hanako."
The aura was gone from the red dragon.
The others gazed at him, "Damn. He would be one scary father for anyone who tries anything at her. Even asking for a date might be life threatening," Fuad gulped a little, before laughing loudly, "I hope I'll turn out like you Halberd!"
Doble nervously sweated, "Please don't."
Mizaru nodded, "One is enough for a life time."
Suzumi chuckled as she watched the battlefield. She felt the tension between the two dragons beginning to raise. It went quickly and it was easy to notice that they were ready to go all out.
Meanwhile, the two opponents faced each other's. Their muscles tensed under their scales. Their heart was pumping loudly and quickly. They smirked at each other's, both confident of their victory.
"I have been waiting for so long to face you again. I'll show you the result of my training," he cracked his knuckles.
"Don't you need your weapon to face me?"
"You don't have one yourself Fang Slade," Alliot replied.
"Right. This is going to be so fun," the XIII replied as his eyes shined.
The two dragons gazed at each other's for a few seconds, before they both charged at the same time. Their punched against each other's fist. They felt the wave of the other dragon's power through their bones before they were sent away. They slid on the ground and left a mark.
"Looks like you manage to push me away this time. That is some nice progress, but not enough my friend," the red dragon said as he charged once again.
The other one waited for him this time, he rejoiced the praise he received, but kept his guard up. He avoided the punch of the older dragon and grabbed his wrist. He threw him on the ground and followed with a kick.
The XIII rolled on the ground and countered with a low kick. He missed as the other dragon did a backflip.
The younger dragon grunted in frustrations as he cracked his bones. He wondered what he could do. He thought the age might made his old friend weaker, but it wasn't the case. He chuckled with excitement, "Good to know you are still tough as ever fatso."
"Same shorty," the elder dragon smirked as he prepared to fight. He charged once again. He tried to beat the other dragon, but his punches and kicks missed him.
The two struggles as none of them could hit the target for a while. It looked more like they were having fun together than dueling.
The others watched the battle. They saw a few explosions as their attacks hit the grounds or when one of them was sent against the grounds or walls of the battle field.
Drum commented, "None of them are holding back. Father is as strong as I remember."
"Yeah. I thought they would begin by holding back a little, but no. They went all out at the start," Merak commented.
Melgax sighed, "It won't be a long fight at least. It feels like two kids playing right now. I did that with my siblings when I was a kid," he then gazed down melancholically, "The good times," when they were alive.
Doble chuckled, "I want to try and fight your daddy Drum," he smirked at the red dragon who showed his fangs.
"You have no chance to beat him," the Omni Lord replied. He smirked, "You cannot beat me on your own, right?"
"We are so going to see who's the strongest."
Fuad laughed loudly as the two dragons heat up, "This is so intense, everyone has their blood boiling here."
Buzzsaw smirked as he watched the fight. He couldn't disagree as he felt his own blood boiling under his scales. He wanted to be part of this fight. He knew he shouldn't or he might be out of control.
Arkaid sighed, "Boys and their battles," she nodded a few times negatively, "There is no point of having fun in a fight that has no stakes. It's not even for training."
"We just want to test our might against an old warrior like him. We couldn't against Tenbu. We never had a chance to hit him once," Mizaru replied as he drank his sake.
Suzumi smiled, "I know it is important to compare ourselves and see the strength and weaknesses of our opponents, but you also need to understand yours."
"I might have a chance against you with the Mikado style. A fighting styles that needs to be tested against dragons," Halberd said as the memories of his pains and torments of his training came back, it's all to protect Hanako.
Gao smiled, "And it looks like Alliot managed to get an advantage."
"What?" they all gazed down, but they saw the XIII throwing the orange dragon in the air.
"You missed it," the Sun Fighter nervously chuckled.
Alliot felt on the ground, but avoided the tail of his old friend. He used the horns of the XIII to jump away. He rolled on the ground to avoid fire attacks and slid back on his two feet. He glared at the other dragon with amusement and joy, "We should get to the conclusion of our duel. Don't you agree?"
"Yes. We weren't holding anything back," the other dragon replied as he cracked his fingers. He chuckled before charging a little faster than before.
The Cavalry Dragon saw at the last second a hand gesture when it aimed at his chest. He blocked it with his arms and painfully grunted when he was pushed away. His arms were sore, "Some fancy techniques you are hiding!"
"I used then against the strongest dragon. Consider yourself an honor. I haven't used my father's technique for a century," he flexed his muscles before he repeated the same attack.
Alliot didn't block it. He used his arm to force the gesture to go over him. Once he had his chance, he punched the jaw of the other dragon.
The red dragon took a step back and blocked another punch. He felt the kick in his chest as he took a few steps back. He coughed up a tip of blood and cleaned his face, "You manage to find an away around him. The Punisher couldn't. Well… he was gigantic, so it was harder to just avoid this. How about another one?"
The orange dragon wondered if he meant the same attack or another one. He decided to go to the offensive this time. He didn't want to get hit by his next strange attack. When he was close, he realised his mistake as the other one waited for that.
The XIII went on the side and made his adversary trip.
Alliot yelped before he slid face first in the dirt. He tried to stand up when the other one got on the back.
"I got a few other ones, but they required to aim a vital spot," the red dragon told him.
He knew the implication said by the XIII and why he didn't use it. Still, he had been tricked. He felt his arms pulled and twisted on his back.
"I think this duel is over. You made a fatal mistake," he smirked at his victim.
The Cavalry Dragon tried to escape his torment, but he was locked on the ground. He struggled with everything he had, but it just made everything worse. He closed his eyes and bit his lips. He refused to just give up like that.
The other one went a little harder, "Come on. We are at an age where we know when it's over. Don't try to resist me like that when it's pointless shorty."
"You… think…" Alliot painfully grunted as he struggled more. He tried to use his tail for anything, but he couldn't. He felt the foot of the other dragon stepping on his tail. He winced and grunted a few times. He dropped his head, "You win fatso."
He was released and massaged his articulations. He closed his eyes as the pain began to quickly subsided.
"Not bad shorty. You got much stronger than before. Just not ready to face me or my son," the XIII smirked at the other dragon.
"Enough with the shorty," the orange dragon sighed.
"We should talk more later, just the two of us. Like good old time," Fang Slade Terrestrial The XIII suggested.
"Will appreciate that. I'll have a few words with your son soon," he added. The Cavalry Dragon had to admit that it was time to respect his new Omni Lord. He wouldn't let that Drum get his head over it that easily. He wanted to try and to see what the dragon could do. That would be later. His arms hurt like hell from that strange attack, "What was that gesture?"
"A battle technique in the family. A quick movement and play with the energy surrounding us. It is extremely powerful and dangerous. That's why I didn't go to the next one."
"Good to know. Why didn't your son know about this?"
"Because it is dangerous to learn that. I almost break a few of my bones and my skull once. I don't want my son to put himself in such danger. Besides, he has a greater destiny coming to him," the XIII gazed at his boy.
"Destiny? Nope. Tenbu chose him because of his potential and what he could do. I can see it… Barely. Your son just inherited his duty. Still, he will have to prove a lot with the other Omni Lords," he stood up and walked by the side of the older dragon.
"I'm sure he will. He still has to prove himself to me," he snickered.
Later on, everyone was having a good lunch. The sun reached its zenith and the old red dragon decided to stay for the day. He had nothing else to do anyway and he planned more catch up. The two fighters were eating voraciously as they used a lot of energy.
Alliot decided to wait after his stomach was full and content before telling him anything, the food here is soooo good. I cannot stop eating it. No wonder every dragon loves this place.
Drum gazed at his father. He didn't ask anything about the fight. He was impressed at what he could still do. In his eyes, his father wasn't an old gramps yet. Maybe he would never be for him. He closed his eyes and smiled to himself. No matter how harsh his training was in his childhood, he always looked up at his father. His man would never give up a fight and always had a heart in the right place. He chuckled quietly as the other dragons began to gently mocked the small orange dragon.
Alliot crossed his arms and pouted for a while. He really hated when the other mocked him that way. He was one against six. If it was only one of them, he could just bring up one of their flaws and they would be teased too, all because I had the honor to fight him, he bit his final dumpling from his meal and smiled. He was a little sat it was over, but he enjoyed it greatly. He might have a few more delicious meals before they went on their mission. At that thought, he gazed down and ignored the others, Tenbu… That mission is going to get harder on Drum when we reach that moment, he didn't really care that much for the red dragon, but the boy Gao might have a few thoughts about it later on. He turned his attention to the Omni Lord and said, "Drum. I have to tell you something important."
Of course, he chose the worse moment to bring that up.
Drum coughed a few times when the dumpling he gulped went the wrong way. He managed to get it out of his system, right on the face of Doble.
The red dragon glared at his Omni Lord and the other dragon, before he cleaned his face, "That bastard," he grumbled at Alliot.
Gao and Halberd went to check if everything was alright with the dragon.
Drum took a few deep breath, "W-what?"
"I have something important to tell you. You have finished the task I ask of you. You brought your father here and I have my duel against him. Whatever I win or not, I just wanted to fight him once again," he hit his chest, "I'll serve you as my Omni Lord Drum Bunker Dragon."
"You did it Drum," Gao smiled at his buddy.
The others nodded and encouraged him.
"You were the hardest one in a way," the dragon replied.
"I know. I am one of the strongest," Alliot chuckled.
Doble eyes shined, "I don't think so. You and I never dueled. We will know for certain when we fight against each other's."
Buzzsaw chuckled, "I am curious to see if I can defeat any of you two. Depending who the victor is," he let out a large nasty smile, "It would be interesting."
The others were taken aback by his sudden creepy side. Hanako giggled, thinking he was just being funny.
Arkaid chuckled and tapped his shoulder, "Don't need to go that far."
The purple dragon regained his composure, "Right."
"You just need to control how to restrain yourself Buzzsaw. I can help you with that," the XIII eyes shined.
"Euh… Nono. No thank you," Buzzsaw tried to be as small as possible.
Everyone chuckled for a short moment before they gained back their composure. The group continued to talk together and finished eating. Once it was done, Alliot and the XIII walked away together.
The two needed more time to simply talk together, away from unwanted ears.
The two dragons were on the roof of a far away house. The went away when the others were distracted. The two rested on it and observed the blue sky.
"Every time I come here, I always think this world is beautiful," the XIII commented with a smile.
"Yeah. I can see the appeal, but they are so few trees here," Alliot replied.
"They are many, but away from here. This is a civilisation of so many humans on a big island," the red dragon replied.
"What do you see beautiful here?"
"Possibilities. It's the world that gives the most to every monster in every world. You can have darkness dragons here with dragons, etc. It might break a barrier that caused conflict between the worlds."
"So, an if."
"Do not underestimate an if when it didn't exist before. Dreams can become reality here."
"Especially with this world original name."
"You know it?"
"Yes. Tenbu gave it to the Cavalry Dragons… Ironically. This is why Yamigedo was imprisoned here. That simple name that this planet was born with."
"What is that name?"
"I cannot share it. Tenbu ordered us to not say anything until your son figure it out."
"That's a shame. I guess twisting your arm again won't do anything."
The orange dragon pointed his claw at him, "Don't even think about it. I won't just say anything about that for your petty eyes."
"Yeah. One fight is enough. You might end up crying."
"No!" Alliot yelled. He sighed and went on, "I wasn't there when you found your wife… How was she?"
"She was a great dragon. She was powerful and brave. She was kind. We fought a long battle when we crossed path and I won her heart," he winked at him.
"And who was the strongest?"
"Hum… Some said that I won, others said that she won. I told my son that I won," he chuckled, "The true. It's that we both knocked each other's out. It was a draw."
"Draw… Lucky girl. Wish it would have been me," he sighed loudly.
The lips went down, "Yeah."
"Do you love her?"
"From the bottom of my heart. It still hurts to know she isn't here anymore. Drum would have been less strong with her, or not. I don't know. He would have been happier. I would have been happier."
"She was perfect for you," Alliot admitted. He closed his eyes and sighed, "And Drum?"
"Don't make me begin with him. I have so many things to say, but I don't want you to slip anything," he laughed loudly.
"You love him that much hum?"

The XIII grabbed his hand, "It wasn't meant to be."
"Yeah. It was never meant to be."
The watched the orange sky as the day came to an end.
"We should go back," Alliot grumbled.
"Yeah. Got nothing else to say anything."
"Me neither. Good to know you love your wife."
"She has a little of you in her," he chuckled.
The two stood up and returned to the Mikado house.
