47.- Triumvirate, part II
Natla's experiment has started. The eggs hatch the new generation of survivalists, which share traits with the Nephilim, thus are half bigger than their previous iteration in the Great Pyramid of Atlantis. And thus a first raid of fifty survivalists besieges Aksaray. "It has started," Qualopec says. He extends a piece of the Scion to the person on his left.
"We must stop this slaughter heap now, before it gets worse," the person on his side says. If it could ever be treated as a person, but the torso and legs are barely connected by machinery. Like Qualopec, it cannot sustain itself without machinery. "Let's go, Tihocan," Qualopec says. And so, Tihocan places his piece of the Scion where it belongs. The two just rulers of Atlantis are facing the misdeeds of Natla again.
As people flee, security forces face Tihocan and Qualopec. They are applying a shoot first policy given their unlikelihood, and their apparent relation to the monster siege. A single pointing by Qualopec turns a security force agent into an ape. The ape starts behaving viciously with his former mates. "You are overdoing it, Qualopec," Tihocan says, while trying to bring down the flying squad of survivalists, which evade them, and blow up Natla Technologies Aksaray. "That is quite unexpected," Tihocan says. "They have definitely chosen a new master. Natla has lost in her own game."
