A/N: Tomorrow is my OST so I will be crunched for time to complete homework when I come home so if I don't post tomorrow that's why on to the chapter. Rebecca's Point of View

I woke up in cold arms, they were Aro's. "Good morning!" I said in my usually chirpy demeanor. I remembered yesterday; it had been hard to make that decision give up personal freedom so that Aro wouldn't worry about me twenty-four seven. I understood that his first instinct was to protect his mate, and then the children. I was honestly surprised he hadn't said anything sooner. Of course, if anyone did before the whole meeting him and getting pregnant thing, I probably would have said no.

Now, however, it wasn't just myself I would be putting at risk anymore. It was Aro, and now kids. Baby's that can't protect themselves yet. My own kids… that much was still hard to grasp, that I was pregnant. I would have two children in whoever knows how long and there going to be mixtures of me and Aro. a perfectly eccentric combination.

"Rebecca?" his voice and tone made whatever he was about to say seem like good news. At least, I hope "yes?" I was wondering what he was going to tell me. "Get dressed, we're going to meet someone in a few minutes." Hmm, why wasn't he telling me? I still did what he asked, and I found myself walking down the corridors with him.

Hmm? We were going out of the tower? I thought he asked me to stay in the tower and now he was taking me out of it? Why if I may ask? I sent to Aro, "I told you we're going to meet someone." "and who might this exclusive person, or persons, be that you're not telling me who they are?" He smiled "it's a secret." and continued leading me down the staircase. Well that was helpful.

When we were halfway down by my calculations; he picked me up bridal style and carried me to another hallway that took a few seconds to get to. Then we made a turn, and I recognized the hallway. this was the one I came through when I first got to Volterra.

When we got to the end and made another turn. I was surprised and happy. I saw Bella and the Cullen's. Since I didn't want Edward reading my mind I closed of my thoughts and went to greet them. Emmett pulled me into a bear hug but didn't squeeze as tightly as he usually did. I pondered it for a moment before realizing if there here they probably know. This visit must have been arranged by Aro. I guess I understood wanting to keep it a secret, because it made for a nice surprise.

When Emmett let go, I went to hug everyone else. Another thing everyone else got was a nice "Good Morning!" to which some laughed or chuckled. When I got to Esme I immediately said "Aro gave me permition (sorry if this is spelled wrong) to make a children's area. Do you want to join in the decorating?" a smile was brought to her face "of course, I would love to."

I got to Bella, "come on you, me, a sleepover with the girls? What do you say?" confusion, then worry entered her features. "you mean with Caius and Marcus's mates?" I nodded and she was afraid again. mental sigh, "you know Bella. It's actually the safest place. In the tower the elite guard already know you and that you aren't a snack and." I paused slightly "There's actually the elite guard there that would be able to protect you." She didn't look reassured. I would have to come back to this later.

For now, Edward would need to know my rules for being Bella's boyfriend. I opened up my mind so he could see. (this is her thoughts to Edward) okay rule number one, no leaving Bella ever! Again. rule number two basically don't do anything stupid that you'll regret.

I closed my mind afterward. Silently thinking that it would be hard for him not to do anything stupid, but that's Edward for you. During my greeting of the Cullen's, it seemed Aro was speaking with Carlisle. Now, they came over "okay, Rebecca since you're pregnant I'm going to take some vital signs and see if I can pick up anything that could help about the children."

It made sense that the visit wasn't purely social, because why not call your friend, who's also a doctor, and a friend to the person you want checked up on? Pure logic. I thought with a smile what Caius's reaction the Cullen's would be. Probably some snarky remarks, mixed with some pure rage, but I came to expect the unexpected with Caius. He wasn't just angry; he would probably be civil and maybe slightly friendly to Carlisle and Esme for their prior friendship.

"why not. So how are we going to do this? Because I seriously doubt you have a medical bed in that suitcase." a snicker came from Emmett, I was glad someone picked up on my sarcasm. "well Aro does have a medical wing here so we can use that." Huh, a medical wing, I never knew that existed; but in all fairness the most I did recently was hang out with Dora and Diana in the tower, go down to the kitchens, or read in the library. I guess I really did need a map because there are way too many corridors in this castle.

I ended up walking next to Emmett, it was refreshing to have someone other than Felix to reply to my sarcasm well. Well, being the key word, at first, I tried remembering the corridors but after trying to remember hundreds of lefts and rights, okay, maybe not hundreds, but a lot of turns. We finally ended up in the medical wing.
