RAW is WAR: 5/7/1999
RAW is WAR was live at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Fireworks scream and explode at the entrance ramp.
Jim Ross greeted, "Hello, everybody and welcome to Raw is War! We are live at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I'm Jim Ross along with Jerry the "King" Lawler at ringside!" The sound of shattered glass hits and the new WWF Champion walks out among a roaring crowd.
Jim Ross stated, "Here comes the new World Wrestling Federation Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin! Would you listen to this ovation! The fans are on their feet." The Texas Rattlesnake steps on all 4 turnbuckles and raises his arms over his head before stepping down and asking for a microphone. The fans were anxious to hear what Austin's response will be to the Undertaker's challenge to a First Blood Match for the WWF Championship at Fully Loaded.
The WWF Champion said into the microphone, "If you saw Stone Cold Steve Austin beat the Undertaker's ass last week, give me a Hell Yeah!" The fans shouted those immortal words and the Rattlesnake continued, "That wasn't a pretty sight but I damn sure got the job done. On a personal note, I would like to say to Vince McMahon. You say you spent the last four months of your life with a master plan trying to get this belt away from Stone Cold Steve Austin and on one Monday night, Stone Cold Steve Austin crumpled up those plans and shoved them up your ass. As far as the Undertaker goes coming out here, laying these challenges to Stone Cold Steve Austin's deadlines. Son, I ain't that hard to find. As far as your First Blood Match goes, I do accept at Fully Loaded. I tell you this. Last time I was in a First Blood Match with Kane, you came down and it was you who busted me wide open. It cost me the World Wrestling Federation Championship. So I will say to you paybacks are a bitch and that's all I got to say about that! Because I'm a man of my word, I will give Bladewolf the proper championship rematch he deserves..." Vince walks out to the entrance ramp.
He cut him off, "Oh no, that's not all you got to say about that. No!"
Jim Ross said, "Your hero's here, King."
Vince informed, "Because I got something to say about that!" The usual "Asshole" chants happened, "You see, Austin..."
It was Austin's turned to cut the WWF Chairman off, "Hold on, I tell you right now you got to talk a hell of a lot louder because my hearing's ain't so good and you got 15,000 people calling you an asshole."
The Chairman resumed, "I've come to the conclusion that the World Wrestling Federation, quite frankly, is just not big enough for the both of us. Austin, somebody's gotta go and go for good! And that somebody is either you or me. You see Austin, I got a challenge for you. And that challenge is this. So confident am I that the Undertaker is gonna leave you a bloody mess in the ring at Fully Loaded and walk from the ring as the WWF Champion that I'm willing to put in writing..." He nodded at the "Austin" chants, "Yeah, cheer him all you want. I am willing to put in writing, Austin and listen up. I don't even care if your attorneys draw up the contract! I'm willing to put in writing that I will never again directly or indirectly interfere, compromise or any way have anything to do with you here in the World Wrestling Federation ever again. Are you interested?"
A side grin formed on Austin's face, "You damn right!"
Vince offered, "Then all you gotta do is agree and by the way I won't accept your word for it any more you accept mine and I want it in writing. All you gotta do, Austin is agree that if or should I say when the Undertaker defeats you that you will never ask for a rematch. Matter of fact, you will never again in your or Bladewolf's professional career even attempt to become the WWF Champion again. Never! I'm willing, Austin. I'm willing to take a risk. And why am I willing to take this kind of risk? Quite frankly, I don't think it's much of a risk but I'll tell you why. Because if you agree, Austin the reason is this. The thought of you or Bladewolf representing the World Wrestling Federation as the WWF Champion makes me wrench with emotional trauma. The thought of you Austin or Bladewolf with that WWF title in the ring, the sight of it makes me physically ill. Makes me want to vomit! That's why I'm willing to take that risk. But I tell you this. If you decide to accept the challenge, Austin, if you decide to accept then think about it. This, one way or another, will be the end of an era. And Austin if you are somehow victorious, neither you nor any of these people will ever see Vince McMahon again." The fans cheer at the thought of not seeing the egotistical moron ever again.
Jim Ross exclaimed, "My god, that's earth shattering!"
Steve Austin asked, "So you're saying that I get my own attorneys to draw up the paper work so I gotta worry about trusting your sorry ass, is that correct?"
Vince nodded, "That's correct."
Austin said, "If you don't wanna see Vince McMahon no more, give me a 'Hell Yeah!'" The fans scream those words and Austin looked at his nemesis, "Vince, I'll accept your little challenge but it won't be the end of an era, it'll be just the end of you and that's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so!" Tossing the microphone away, the WWF Champion gestures for a couple of beers.
Jim Ross stated, "End of an era indeed. It will all go down at Fully Loaded!"
Jerry Lawler disagreed, "No. I mean never see Vince McMahon ever again, that's unimaginable! It will be the end of Stone Cold Steve Austin, I guaranteed you that."
Jim Ross cried, "Might not be. Somebody's going."
Lawler said, "It's gotta be Stone Cold Steve Austin!" The champion stands on the second turnbuckle and flips Vince off.
Jim Ross stated, "That's gotta be the biggest deal I ever heard here in the WWF coming at Fully Loaded, King. It's gonna be all on the line, all or nothing for Mr. McMahon and the Rattlesnake."
In the arena, the first match was about to begin, which would be the Bladewolf and Kane vs The Hardy Boyz for the WWF Tag Team Championships. The Hardy Boyz' theme hits and they come out with Michael Hayes.
Tony Chimel said, "The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the World Wrestling Federation Tag-Team Championship. In the ring, accompanied by Michael Hayes, from Cameron, North Carolina, at a combined weight of 461 pounds, Jeff and Matt Hardy, the Hardy Boyz!"
Jim Ross stated, "Ladies and gentlemen, if you joined us last night on HEAT we saw the Hardy Boyz take on Kane and the Bladewolf. However, the Acolytes decided to get involved and boy did Bradshaw pay the price for it, King." The Titantron shows Kane and Bladewolf hitting a Spike Tombstone on Bradshaw on the steel steps.
Jerry Lawler agreed, "Unbelievable. Look at this, Tombstoned right on the steel steps!"
"And there was also when Kane and Bladewolf attacked Hardcore Holly after he called them out, but Big Show attacked the two brothers which led to the Undertaker coming out." JR said as the Titantrown then showed the events of last night on HEAT, with the Bladewolf, the Undertaker, and Kane staring down Big Show as Undertaker's theme played in the background. "That was a scary sight."
"yeah, imagine the chaos that will come should these three brothers reunite for good." Jerry said.
"But are they reunited? Was this a sign of it? Or the Undertaker playing mind games?" JR asked. "We've been wondering this since wesaw Undertaker and Bladeowlf attack Big Show after a Bladewolf vs Big Show match a few weeks ago."
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
Jim Johnston's Dark Side plays as Fire goes off on the stage and the lights change to dark red and dark blue as the Bladewolf and Kane walk out, getting a loud pop from the fans. They had their WWF Tag Team Championships on their shoulders.
"And their opponents, at a combined weight of 636 lbs, they are the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions...THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION!" Tony Chimel announced.
"And here comes the destructive, dominant duo that have been tag team champions for 141 days." JR said. "141 days of dominance and destruction, king. That's impressive."
Jerry nods. "That is impressive."
The two brothers walk down towards the ring, both climbing onto the ring apron then go over the top rope. Kane raises his arms then throws them down, causing fire to shoot up from the turnbuckles in an explosion. Bladewolf removes his trench coat and dumps it out the ring, shoving his title into the referee's hands while pacing a little as Kane hands his title to the referee and the two brothers stand side by side.
The two teams stare each other down as the referee raises the titles to show they are on the line before handing them to someone at ringside before he calls for the bell.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Right off the bat, the Brothers of Destruction attack the Hardy Boyz. Bladewolf takes on Jeff Hardy while Kane takes on Matt Hardy. Bladewolf battles Jeff Hardy, throwing heavy right hands that could easily knock his teeth out. Bladewolf Irish whips him into the ropes and nails the big boot and chains it with a stomp. Kane clotheslines Matt Hardy out of the ring, being the ruthless beast he is Kane sends Matt hard into the steel steps. He stands on the apron after that.
Bladewolf was showing more aggression and becoming sloppy, most likely angry from the stipulation Vince McMahon made in regards to the Austin-Undertaker match at Fully Loaded where if Austin loses, he nor Bladewolf can ever pursue the WWF Championship in their careers, and becoming WWF Champion is the Bladewolf's biggest desire.
"Bladeowlf showing a lot of anger and aggression here." JR noted as Bladewolf gets Jeff in the corner and is furiously stomping away on him. "I guess he heard Vince McMahon's stipulation for Fully Loaded between the Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin."
The referee tries telling Bladewolf off from his aggressiveness but Bladewolf scares the referee off, breathing heavily before he turns around only to be taking down with a leaping clothesline by Jeff, who hooks the leg but Bladewolf kicks out at two. Kane paces back and fourth on the ring apron, knowing he needs to get the tag if they want a chance to win and retain their titles.
Bladewolf catches Matt Hardy off the top rope and lifts him up for the chokeslam when Jeff Hardy nails the drop kick on him from behind, causing Matt to fall on Bladewolf and hook the leg. Bladewolf kicks out at 2. Jeff Irish whips Bladewolf into the turnbuckle and Matt charges using his brother like a springboard to land a drop kick on Bladewolf before Jeff rams Kane off the apron. He performs a springboard crossbody on him.
"The Hardy showing great teamwork to take out these two monsters, usually Kane and Bladewolf are the ones dominant mostly." JR said.
Back in the ring Matt Hardy, being the legal man, climbs to the second rope and wraps his arm around Bladewolf's neck then jumps off...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A TORNADO DDT!
Kane deals with Jeff Hardy outside the ring and whirls around to see Matt pinning Bladewolf! Kane rushes but it's too late! ONE! TWO! THREE! WE HAVE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
The Hardy Boyz's theme plays as they celebrate their big victory. Tony Chimel said, "The winners of this bout and the new World Wrestling Federation Tag-Team Champions, the Hardy Boyz!" Michael Hayes joins Jeff and Matt Hardy on the ramp, the new champions holding the WWF Tag-Team Championship.
Kane tends to his brother who sits up, looking ahead and he shakes his head as he gets to his feet, pacing back and fourth before he and Kane leave the ring and head up the ramp as the losers for this one.
Later
Returning from a commercial break, Billy Gunn takes on Meat in a Singles Match.
Billy Gunn's music plays and he walks to the ring with Chyna in tow. They both enter the ring and Billy Gunn removes his sleeveless shirt. He enters a little conversation with Chyna.
Meat's music played and Tony Chimel said, "The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, accompanied by PMS, he weighs in at 250 pounds, Meat!" He stands on the apron and holds the second rope open for PMS to enter when...
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The lights go out after the wolf howland when they come back on...THE BLADEWOLF WAS IN THE RING! Chyna and Billy Gunn whirl around only to be grabbed by the throats, lifted up...AND PLANTED WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!
"Good God! A double Chokeslam!" JR exclaimed.
Bladewolf grabs Billy Gunn and unloads, throwing punches and throws him into the ropes, nailing the big boot. He spots Meat trying to escape but Bladewolf's quickness allows him to catch him at the entrance ramp. Meat backs up as Bladewolf advances bit by bit, wrapping his hand around Meat's throat before lifting him up...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!
Jerry the "King" Lawler said, "That's solid steel, JR!" He next saw Bladewolf hoisting Meat, "Not the Tombstone!"
Bladewolf's gaze remained cold and blank as he...HITS A TOMBSTONE ON THE STEEL STAGE!
Returning to ringside, Bladewolf reaches under the ring to grab a steel chair and throws it into the ring.
Jim Ross said, "Bladewolf has snapped here. This has no doubt got to be about the stipulation Mr. McMahon proposed to Stone Cold Steve Austin."
Sliding in Bladewolf grabs the steel chair and waits for Billy Gunn but then spots Chyna getting to her feet. Not wanting any interference Bladewolf...CRACKS CHYNA OVER THE SKULL WITH THE CHAIR!
Returning his attention to Billy Gunn, Bladewolf places the chair over Gunn's face and performs a leg drop producing a sickening thud of steel on cranium. Exiting the ring again, Bladewolf brings 3 tables in and re-enters. He stacks the first two on top one another and leans the third one against the turnbuckle. Wrapping his hand around Gunn's throat, he lifts him 7 feet into the air...AND PLANTS HIM THROUGH THE STACKED STABLES! The force sent splinters flying everywhere.
Bladewolf was not done though. Lifting the unconscious man up, he runs...AND SPEARS BILLY GUNN THROUGH THE LAST TABLE!.
PMS retrieve Meat and leave the area, gaining as much distance as they can from Bladewolf. Back in the ring, Bladewolf surveys the carnage as his theme plays.
Jim Ross stated, "This was a statement by Bladewolf, folks." Blood red and dark blue light descends and Bladewolf raises his arms before throwing them down, causing four lightning bolts to hit the turnbuckles which makes fire shoot up in response.
The arena goes black and when the lights come on...BLADEWOLF WAS GONE!
Yeah, Bladewolf is pissed off and took it out on several guys. Dude's the brother ofKane and the Undertaker, you don't think he wasn't gonna destroy somebody in his rage?
