CandyLuv99; Yes, unfortunately. A lot of deaths in Scar's name.

Here's chapter forty-nine. Enjoy.

Death. Death is something that happens when someone completes their journey in the circle of life.

Unfortunately, Desta and Artem's deaths came prematurely.

Young Sherise was devastated. Her whole world was ruined in a matter of hours. When the king and queen came back to priderock and pulled the the dark brown cub away.

Simba lowered his head. It was hard for him as Desta was like a brother to him. "Sherise... I'm terribly sorry but your parents have completed their journey as well as Kopa."

Sherise didn't have to be told about Kopa. Witnessing her friend being murdered sent her running blindly towards priderock. Where she ran into Jesús, who comforted her before taking her to priderock.

Tears fell from the cub's purple eyes. "They're gone? But.."

"It's okay, sweetie." Queen Nala pulled the sobbing cub close. Letting the dark brown cub cry on her leg. "We're so sorry that this happened. But please know that you're not alone."

Sherise had tears falling from her puffy eyes as she looked up at the older lions. "What's going to happen to me?"

Nala and Simba shared a look before turning back to Sherise where the gold lion bend down and nuzzled the cub.

"Your grandmother and aunt has agreed that it's best for you to join us. You'll be a princess, of course you should know now. That-"

Simba stopped when Nala shook her head. Simba understood. It wasn't the right time to address the matters of the throne.

While Nala were explaining things to his new adopted daughter, he quietly left the cave.

...

Nyah couldn't pinpoint a emotion. She enjoyed the turmoil her sister was going through and if her plan goes according. Nala will suffer even more.

Nyah left her cubs with her mother before following her brother-in-law. Which was to the gorge where her nephew was murdered.

"Simba,"

Simba jumped before smiling lightly at the creamy lioness. "Nyah. You startled me."

Nyah stepped closer and looked at the river below that was calm. It didn't seem like no drastic event took place, a day ago.

"I came to check on a friend. It must not be easy. You and my sister taking in a orphan, my sister blaming you."

Simba snapped his head up at that. "What? Nala doesn't-"

Nyah shook her head before lying it on the king's shoulder. "She hasn't said anything but I see it. Haven't you? I don't believe it but as she believes, Zira did kill Kopa because you killed her father... their father."

Simba gasped as he listened. Do Nala really feel that way? He was so confused.

Nyah grinned before brushing her body against the gold lion's. "My King. You're stressed. You're grieving. Let me help you relieved some of that?"

Simba knew he shouldn't. But for that one moment, he threw knowledge of right and wrong away. He submitted to his selfish desires and mated his sister-in-law.

"Exile!"

Zira growled at the memory while her pride began to settle in the Outlands. She couldn't believe that bastard exiled her but it was worth it.

"So what's the plan my queen?"

Zira snarled before she turned to face Gwen. "You don't have any yourself?"

The white lioness laughed. "My time as their queen is over. Lead them. You have Kovu, you took away something to Simba just like he done to you. So, what's next?"

The pale tan lioness turned and gazed at the dark brown cub she stole who was playing with her daughter.

"Above all. Kovu will kill Simba and take my father's place as King."

...

Bright Kingdom

King Cerberus entered a cave where his father and Jadis were waiting.

"Well!" the tan lion growled. "What happened?!"

Cerberus rolled his orange eyes. "Pipe down old man."

The goldish lion took a drink from the creek within the cave before looking at his father and Jadis. "How's Ulanni?"

Badhi grunted. "My daughter-in-law is fine as well as the cub she recently gave birth to. A strong male. Now, tell us what happened in the Pridelands?"

Cerberus rolled his shoulders. "Gwen and Zira.."

"Your mistress?" Jadis growled.

"Yes," Cerberus snarled in annoyance before turning back to his father. "They, well, Zira killed King Simba's cub. Zira murdered Princess Artem as well."

"That's good." the gold lion grinned. "With Kazakh's blood eliminated, Keres can take the throne and we'll rule through him. Anything else?"

"Yeah there's more." Cerberus continued as he got the attention of his father and Jadis. "Zira and her pride were exiled to the Outlands. But Zira has a plan to take Simba out by having your son she stolen from the Tree of Life kill him."

"There's going to be war." Jadis grinned widely. "Perhaps this will work out well. Who ever wins the war, we'll end them."

...

A Few Months Later(The Pridelands)

The sun had started to rise as a soft breeze went through the Pride Lands. Animals lifted their heads before heading towards pride rock.

Royal Mjuzi Rafiki stood on the peak of pride rock calling the animals with a spiritual chant.

Ubukhosi bo khokho

We ndodana ye sizwe sonke

Rafiki looked up and smiled at the images of Mufasa and Uru in the sun. They smiled down at the mandrill and watched Simba and Nala approach.

The tawny pelted queen held a gold furred infant cub in her mouth. Rafiki bowed before grabbing the heir and raised her for the kingdom.

Uru and Mufasa smiled brightly down at the princess. The future queen swatted at the features and dust that the spirits sent blowing her way. Simba looked up from his subjects and smiled at the sight of his father and grandmother.

The goldish lioness smiled lovingly at the golden lion as she sent a breeze the king's way. Simba leaned into the breeze as it felt like a loving embrace he always had received from his grandmother.

Opening his orange eyes he let a tears fall. He was right, his father and grandmother would be watching over them. He moved his eyes to his daughter and silently promised no harm will come to her.

Mufasa from above looked at Simba and Nala nuzzled his newest grandchild. He's happy for them and his son is right, he'll be watching over them. As he has a plan to unite the separate prides.
