chapter 49: Eri!
Overhaul had just grabbed Eri and was about to leave the base with Chronostasis behind him, he then ran into Nemeto and Sakaki.
"we finally perfected the nullifier bullets but those heroes are here to ruin everything, if Shie Hassaikai is to recover from this me and Eri need to get out of here. you all know what to do."
"yes!"
"you got it boss!"
"... I'm speaking to you two as well." all of them then turned to the two villains in the back, one of them was the hydra arms girl and the other was another girl that had rugged clothing and looked angry like she had just woken up from bad sleep.
"ugh your so loud, but at least your finally giving orders."
"you know maybe if you let the League in charge of defense you wouldn't have had so many pesky heroes running around like rats."
"I know right the fact that they even made it this far is pretty sad."
"I thought the Yakuza were supposed to at least be competent, guess I was wrong." the two of them then started laughing of course the Shie Hassaikai got angry but Overhaul raised his hand to keep them from fighting back. tch, fine keep talking all that shit, but your the real rodents here, even if my castle gets destroyed with my new weapon I be able to cure this world of its stupid justice disease and get things back to normal. only this time everyone will bow down to Shie Hassaikai even the League of Villains.
just do your job and hold the heroes back will you."
"sure whatever."
"got nothing better to do." Overhaul then grunted as he and Chronostasis passed the villains, as they did Eri looked up and saw the sleepy looking villain, to which the villain smiled warmly at her, which surprised Eri a little. the villains then looked forward and saw Nemeto and Sakaki looking right at them, they were wearing masks but it was quite obvious they were angry.
"heh, what? mad that we don't respect your boss?"
"tell him to stop wearing the fucking bird beak then."
"listen you fucking villains, you-!"
"CHISAKI!" just then Togata could be seen running down the hall, Overhaul then quickly picked up the pace while Nemeto and Sakaki as well as the two villains got into position to keep him back.
"damn it! why are the League of Villains fighting along side Shie Hassaikai? didn't they kill one of your own." both the villains were irritated but the sleepy one started growling like a wolf and then rushed forward with great speed and tried to punch Togata but instead just phased threw him.
"hm, interesting. what is your quirk?"
"my quirk is Permeation I can phase threw anything can control what parts of my body can and can't phase so I have to think hard when using my quirk... wait why did I just say that?" just then Togata started getting dizzy and even before he could try to get his footing the villain from before punched him in the back. Togata couldn't believe the amount of pain he was in from just one punch. but thankfully he knew how to endure such pain and quickly turned around to swing a punch back at her, this quickly enraged the villain even more and she tried to punch his head. thankfully, despite being dizzy, Togata used his quirk in time so the villains missed and hit the wall instead but the impact was massive and managed to destroy the wall, it was like the wall was hit by a rocket, the force even caused Togata to be flung to the other side the hall. the villain then managed to calm down and even smiled sinisterly at Togata.
"heh, you look scared hero, which you should be! you know I heard that a common tactic heroes like to use is to make villains angry as to make them sloppy. I won't deny it, its pretty effective, except when I come in! my quirk is Rage Fuel, the angrier I am the stronger I get!" Togata was still dizzy but managed to get into a fighting stance to face the villain but then a fist hit him out of nowhere knocking him out of balance again.
"but then again I'm not the only one to focus on!" the rage villain then rushed at him again and once again in the nick of time but as the villain missed and once again just hit the wall. but this time Togata noticed that he was no longer dizzy when he was using his quirk on his head. Togata then let himself phase into the ground and once he was deep enough he solidified and was quickly shot up into the celling. once he was in side the celling he did the same thing but this time tilted his body the best he could to change his direction. he kept doing this until he finally hit the rage villain and kept hitting her every time he phased in and out of the walls. the villain tried her best to punch Togata back but her efforts proved futile. even when she was so enraged she punched the ground and caused a small but powerful rupture, almost like an earthquake, Togata was unaffected and keep up with his attack until she was finally knocked out.
"Phantom menace!" Togata then stopped and faced the last three of them, once again he got dizzy but he smiled because he knew it would wear off as soon as he used his quirk again.
however the hydra arm villain just looked down the hall to see if Overhaul was there and smiled when he wasn't in sight. she then used her long arms to strangle both Nemeto and Sakaki, she then rammed Sakaki's head into the ceiling and kept it up until his head was smashed into a bloody mess.
"Sakaki! no! why are you doing this?!"
"what do you mean why? we're not your friends asshole! we've wanted to destroy Shie Hassaikai from the beginning, we're even the ones that tipped off the police about your connection to the nullifier bullet." Togata was shocked when the villain suddenly betrayed Shie Hassaikai by killing a member right in front of him but was even more shocked when the villain reviled such information.
"grrr! but how?! you said that you weren't ordered by Shigaraki to betray Shie Hassaikai! did you lie?!"
"nope! you asked if Shigaraki told us to betray you guys, which he didn't. he suggested that we kill you guys! and we all agreed to go along with that suggestion! you know people with voice type quirks are supposed to be smart but your actually super dumb! guess that's what you get for letting some Yakuza brat be your boss!" the villain then slammed Nemeto into the ground knocking him out she then reverted her arms back to normal and then stepped aside for Togata.
"well? don't let me stop you. go be a hero, asshole!"
"hm, how did you tip off the police without getting caught?"
"... lets just say that, Shigaraki has some special connections, guess being the son of All for One really has its perks doesn't it?" Togata wasn't sure what she meant but he knew better than to ask more questions when he should be saving Eri at this point so instead he just ran past her but then quickly punched her in the stomach causing her to crouch in pain.
"as if I would let a villain who just committed murder right in front of me get away with it. the police should be here soon once Eraser head and Sir Nighteye are done helping them take down your friends and what's left of the Shie Hassaikai." Togata then continued running after Overhaul but then the hydra villain tried to retaliate by stretching out her arms and strangeling him as well however before she could Izumi used a strike to hit her in the chest and knock her out. Izumi then stood tall in front of Togata with a smile on her face but then felt something weird on her shoes, when she looked down she saw a puddle of blood leading to the corpse of Sakaki. Izumi nearly screamed out of fear, but then Togata caught her and kept her still to calm her down.
"Midoriya listen to me! it was the league of villains! its the same from when we saw that metal feather villain killed that Shie Hassaikai member." Izumi then managed to calm down a little and Togata let her go but then a horrible thought crept into her mind and she activated spark while facing her fist at Togata.
"tell me something only Togata would know!"
"w- what?"
"do it now!"
"um, when you first met Sir Nighteye you wanted to give him a golden coated edition All Might bobble head but he refused because he didn't want to take something from a fellow fan of All Might." Izumi was glaring at Togata, but then she sighed in relief and turned off her spark.
"sorry I had to be sure you weren't an imposter."
"that makes sense with that girl who could melt into other people. but don't turn off your spark! we need to catch up with Chisaki now!"
"ah! right!" Izumi then turned her spark back on and rushed down the hall with Togata following behind her.
"Midoriya! if you can go faster you should!"
"but I'll outrun you if I do!"
"if can really go that fast then you should be able to rush right back to me should you need backup!" Izumi felt concerned about this, she knew that Sir Nighteye ordered her to stay by Togata because apparently that lead to the best future. but Togata was correct with her spark she was should be fast enough to find Overhaul and then quickly report back to Togata right away.
Izumi then rushed forward to find out where Overhaul was but this proved to be a grave mistake because the walls of the halls ended up being destroyed and formed a large and thick barrier separating her from Togata. then to Togata's right a opening appeared with Overhaul holding Eri and Chronostasis beside him, all three of them inside a large room.
"so your all that's left huh, guess those Villains really know their stuff. If I'm being honestly I don't think Shie Hassaikai would have handled it on its own. guess I owe Shigaraki an apology but then again he's gonna be pissed when he finds out that his villains are all being shipped off to prison. oh well, once my nullifier bullets go into the market I can just bribe the police into giving them free passes, but of course the villains will have to become the newest members of Shie Hassaikai first and Shigaraki will have to bow to me as well. kinda feel bad for the guy, he doesn't even know he's being played." I kinda feel bad for you Togata thought you're acting all high and mighty right now while your guys are either being arrested by the police or slaughtered by the League, but if I'm being honest I only feel bad because your going to the same prison as the villains.
"I honestly don't know why you feel its necessary to torture your own daughter for the results you want but if you let her go then I will vouch for you so that you get a more merciful sentence."
"... you really care for Eri, I wonder why. she's just a kid after all, actually she's more than that she's the reason Shie Hassaikai will rise to power once again. she is my prized possession. our unlimited resource for income."
"recourse?! is that really all you think of your daughter!"
"she's adopted actually, but I'm basically her father. you see she's a curse, she killed her own father with her quirk and her mother made the right decision by abandoning her. so I took her in and found out how to utilize her quirk. it was all because of me, Eri herself is nothing special just a monster that makes everything she touches disappear. but as long as she's by my side she'll never hurt a fly. isn't that right Eri." Eri the nodded her head while shivering in fear to which Togata clenched his fist and teeth in anger.
"grrr, daughter or not, she's a little girl! you have no right to use her blood for your weapons!"
"ugh there's the first symptom of the sickness."
"what?"
"these quirks brought a horrible plague, the heroic sickness. it poison's young minds like yours and that green haired girl, it ends up making you delusional and turn into false prophets like All Might or All for One. making people think they can play make believe like heroes and villains like in the comics. but that's not how real life is supposed to work. the old man told me that before the age of quirks the Yakuza was at its prime ruling the world from the underground establishing order and peace from the darkness. but then quirks started manifesting and with them the Hero and Villain sickness rose, and now those of us who follow the tradition of the world are considered the delusional ones but this is so far from the truth. there are no real heroes or villains just people pursuing profit and its all chaos on both sides now that All Might and All for One are gone there are no more false prophets to spread this disease!
my work will bring the world back to its rightful order and Shie Hassaikai the last remaining Yakuza clan will be there to maintain order and peace from the shadows. we were, are, and always will be the true rules of the underworld and the healers of this delusional disease of heroism and villainy! and its not just my own work but the work of Eri as well! without her this would have been impossible! she should be honored and you should be ashamed for trying to take this grand honor from her! her blood is the cure to this ridiculous plague and your trying to take her away from it, how dare you do something so selfish!"
"... you. are. INSANE! I won't deny that hero society isn't perfect, and yes the government relied too much on All Might's influence but that just means that its up to the rest of us to try harder to make a brighter future. as a third year student of U.A. I vow to be one of those new heroes that will shape the future into one where everyone can smile, and that includes Eri! I won't let your insanity ruin her life any more!"
"*sigh* another symptom of heroism, I'm afraid your too far gone I can't cure you, but I can at least put you out of your misery." just then a portal of darkness then opened behind overhaul and out of it came the Toga, Twice, and the rest of the other Villains that fought earlier.
"w- what? but Shigaraki said that Kurogiri was busy doing something important!"
"oh he is, but he can always help us out."
"... well thanks, but why is it just you guys? where are our-?" just then Chronostasis was pushed back hard for two bullets and some gravel was shot into his stomach. Overhaul looked at his injured allie is shock and then turned back to the villains and saw that the villain with the masquerade mask had flicked in Chronostasis's direction.
"well then, now that your all that's left why don't you surrender, and give us the girl. don't worry she'll be fine, we'll raise her to be a great villain!"
"hahaha! I always wanted a little sister!"
"oh! I can teacher her how to make friends! and how to kill them in their sleep!"
"you bastards! you think you can get away with this! it doesn't matter how many of my allies you kill! Shie Hassaikai will always survive as long as I live and Eri is by my side!" Overhaul then placed his hand on the ground and suddenly the ground started shaking and then spikes grew from the ground heading toward the villains and they dodged right away. the villains continued to do whatever they could to attack Overhaul while Overhaul held tightly onto Eri and fought back using his quirk to destroy the walls and turn them into spikes. Togata wasn't sure how to feel about this chaos but he quickly shook his head and tried to focus on just saving Eri. Togata then rushed toward Overhaul who was in blind rage while trying to kill the villains but quickly noticed Togata running toward him which only feed his anger.
"don't think I forgot about you!" Overhaul then made more spike grow out from underneath him and toward Togata but thanks to his quirk, Togata was continued to run at Overhaul. but at the same time the metal feather villain rushed Overhaul as well but Overhaul proved to be faster and quickly touched his face causing him to explode. however to his confusion as villains exploded into blood the blood quickly turned into black goo.
"ha! we're just copies asshole! you really think we'd be dumb enough to send our real selves to kill you!" while Overhaul was distracted with growing fury Togata quickly punched him in the back to stun him for a little while he quickly grabbed Eri. however the copy of the hydra arm villain stretched her arms out and used one to punch Togata in the face while the other to grab Eri form both him and Overhaul. Togata tired to get her back but Overhaul had quickly regained his balance and tried to grab him so Togata had no choice but to retreat by phasing into the ground.
"haha! I got her! call Kurogiri!" The Hydra villain smiled sinisterly as another villain called Kurogiri for a portal but then she noticed Eri was starting at her fearfully which kind of shocked her a little. she then made a warm smile and held Eri in a more comfortable manner.
"oh don't be shy, we're your family now, and we're gonna look after you no matter what. and we won't torture you like that meanie Overhaul did, by the way your going to meet the real me soon and she's going to be your big sister, her name is-" just then Togata appeared form the ground and hit her in the neck, he now knew she wasn't real so he hit as hard as possible and the force from his punch messed up her neck and caused it to snap when she fell down causing her to melt. the copy of the masquerade mask villain noticed this, he then swiped his finger across some of the spikes that Overhaul made causing them to disappear, he then aimed his hand at Togata and was about flick in his direction but then another villain slapped him in the head to stop him.
"idiot! you'll hit the girl too!" Overhaul then aimed more spikes at them causing one of the villains to die and melt but the masquerade mask villain once again swiped his finger across the spikes as they grew out toward him causing them all to disappear. he then flicked his hand toward Overhaul and all the spike his finger touched reappeared and flew right toward Overhaul. Overhaul then made a wall in front of him and made it move toward another villain in high speed crushing them and making them melt instantly. but then the Twice copy started making more copies of to replace the ones that already melted.
Overhaul grunted in frustration but then noticed Togata trying to run away with Eri which made him even angrier as he launched a large spike toward Togata, Togata himself managed to doge well but he had to worry about Eri as well. he only managed to get her of spikes way while keeping himself alive using his phasing.
"what is wrong with you?! didn't you say you needed Eri!"
"I do but I can always bring her back to life after she dies." Overhaul then made more spikes with full intent of killing both Togata and Eri but was stopped when the Toga copy stabbed him in the shoulder. he looked back at her with all his rage actually shuttered in fear when he saw her death glare.
"you probably could have saved Big Sis Magne but you didn't."
"ugh, get over the fagot will you!" this enraged Toga even more and she was about to stab Overhaul in the head but he instead slapped her in the face and as she fell back she exploded into black goo. Overhaul then used his quick to destroy his arm and rebuild, healing it instantly and right afterwards blade feathers were stabbed into his other arm.
"Big Sis Magne was the bravest of us all! she wanted to fight for a world were people like her and the rest of us didn't have to live by the expectations and demands of society! Yakuza bastards like you are just cancer to society, you make things worse for both justice and anarchy! even if you haven't killed Magne you were a fucking idiot if you honestly thought we were going to help you!" Overhaul was about to pull out the blades so that he could reconstruct his arm but he quickly had a better idea and reconstructed his arm right away and infused the metal feathers which were now armor claws to his fingers. he then looked back to Chronostasis who was still alive but knocked out, Overhaul then reconstructed now awake and completely healed.
"Chrono, take them out while I get Eri."
"right, took you long enough to resurrect me by the way." Chronostasis then pulled out his pistons and started firing at the villains while Overhaul ran after Togata. Overhaul then destroyed the ground and reformed it into a pillar that launched him flying toward Togata who was running as fast as he could, since he was holding Eri his options were limited but then he saw an opportunity in front of him and smiled as he tossed Eri in front of him. this shocked Overhaul which gave Togata an opening to turn around and hit him in the face hard. Togata then threw his cape as well and faced Overhaul with his fists ready.
"grrr, w- what? b- but you were screaming about caring about Eri! why would you just throw her away like that?!"
"not that you care, but she's in good hands now." Overhaul then looked to where Eri should have landed and saw Izumi who was now holding Eri in her hands and had Togata's cape as well while having her spark activated.
"Midoriya! get Eri out of here and wrap that cape around her, the true purpose of a cape is to protect hurt children!" Izumi really wanted to help, she knew the Eri was the top priority but she also knew that even someone as skilled as Togata would have trouble.
"Midoriya do as he says!" just then Sir Nighteye and eraser head showed up and stood beside Togata to face Overhaul and the villains with him.
"you don't have to do anything else besides getting Eri to safety! I've already seen the future! everything is going to be alright you just need to get Eri to safety now!" Izumi no longer had any hesitation and nodded to Sir Nighteye she then fled as fast as she could, she entered the hallway and went down the way back to where they came from because she knew that was where all the remaining heroes and police would be. it was going to take a while but she hopefully could cut the traveling time in half. however as she rushed through the halls she was forced to stop when she saw that the hall had strangely collapsed in on itself.
"wha-?! grrr! Overhaul you cheating bastard!" Izumi now had no choice but to use Overhaul's way out and hope that it wasn't filled with traps, she then rushed back the other way but since she was passing the entrance to the fighting room. she decided to take a peek to see how things were going since she hadn't been gone that long. when she entered she saw that Aizawa had erased the quirk of the Twice copy and then stabbed it with a throwing knife causing it to melt and ending the last of the villain copies. Sir Nighteye had no other choice but to break Overhauls hands to keep him from using his quirk while he put him in cuffs, all while Togata managed to knock Chronostasis out and restrain him. Izumi couldn't help but sigh in relief knowing that it all worked out so well, Izumi then looked down at Eri who seemed somewhat relived as well but still didn't smile. Izumi then smiled at her warmly and joyfully turned around to take Eri to the surface, that was when Nemeto shot Izumi in the shoulder causing her to fall down while yelling in pain.
"grrr! damn the heroes! damn the villains! damn all of you! traitors and diseased weaklings!" despite the pain in her shoulder Izumi held and shielded Eri while activating Spark but it didn't work, she just couldn't activate Spark but then she noticed that she wasn't even bleeding. then to her horror she looked at her shoulder and saw that she was shot by the nullifier bullet.
"haha! thank goodness we perfected the nullifier bullet in time now your quirk will never come back!" Togata, Sir Nighteye, and Aizawa looked back to Izumi in horror, both Nighteye and Aizawa especially since they both knew that she had All for One and it was a quirk too important to let be destroyed. Aizawa tired to rush over to help Izumi but then Chronostasis stabbed him with his hair.
"ha! did you really think that would be enough to put me down!" Chronostasis then took off his hood and his hair spiked out everywhere like crazy he kept this up to keep Sir Nighteye and Togata from stopping him as he ran to Overhaul.
"damn it, another future I didn't predict happened! Mirio! go assist Izumi and Eri at once!" Togata didn't even hesitate from Sir Nighteye's orders and ran to Izumi while Nemeto slowly limped toward her due to his sore and injured body.
"hahaha! there's so few of you left, and now your a quirkless nobody. once I take care of you and the others Eri will be ours again and Shie Hassaikai will be-" Izumi quickly put Eri down gently and stood up to punch Nemeto in the face and then kicked him in the groin only to grab onto his head and knee him in the face, Izumi then kicked him away.
"ugh, did you have any idea how many fights I've gotten into in Middle school and all the training I had to go through to control my quirk, I don't need one to beat you bird face." Izumi then turned back to Eri to finally get her out of the place but what she didn't see was that Nemeto had raised his gun and was about to shot Eri, Togata noticed this and phased himself into the ground and shot back out toward Eri and shield her form the shot and ended up getting hit as well. Izumi was shocked for a second which quickly turned into blind rage as she turned around and to hit Nemeto but he had already gotten up and was running toward Overhaul. Sir Nighteye was frozen in despair not only was the current holder of One for All hit with a nullifier bullet but so was his choice as the next symbol of peace. Sir Nighteye felt so much despair that he was no longer focused on Chronostasis and got stabbed in the shoulder with one of his spikes. Chronostasis then got Overhaul up and Nemeto caught up to them both.
"Overhaul sir I disabled the other two heroes we can now get Eri back! we just-" just then two more of Sir Nighteye's weight projectiles hit both Chronostasis and Nemeto in the head knocking them both out. Overhaul then glared at Sir Nighteye with great anger while Sir Nighteye tried to best to look determined but was shuttering in fear.
"not that future, please not that future, there has to be another possible future! there has to be!" Sir Nighteye then threw more projectiles but Overhaul quickly destroyed his handcuffs and started swiping away the projectiles and destroying them instantly. his hands were still broken but he managed to ignore the pain with his endless rage. then Overhaul quickly put both his hands on Chronostasis and Nemeto, just then they exploded into red mist but said red mist started swirling around him. Overhaul then put his hands on his face and he exploded as well but then the red mist reformed him only now he was taller and more monstrous looking with two large arms growing out of his back, the right one was light blue like Chronostasis's hair and the left one was black like Nemeto's robes.
"no... its... its coming true... but why? I did everything to avo-" just then the newly mutated Overhaul then slashed at Sir Nighteye leaving a large and extremely lethal wound on his chest. Togata and Izumi and Eri couldn't help but look in horror as Sir Nighteye fell into a puddle of his own blood and the monstrosity that was Overhaul was now walking right toward them.
"Izumi get Eri and get out of here now."
"wha- what?! you can't face him, if you do you'll die!"
"I can at least buy you time to get out."
"but-!"
"Izumi! when you saw Eri for the first time you wanted to save her no matter what! that's what you told me! did you actually lie to me?" Izumi couldn't say anything else she just started to cry as she quickly turned around and picked up Eri and ran for the exit as fast as she could.
"Where do you think your going?!" the Chronostasis arm then launched towered Izumi like a speeding arrow but Togata quickly picked up a piece of rubble and threw it at Overhaul's face to get his attention.
"your not going to use her anymore, you monster!" Overhaul then roared and charged toward Togata, who got into a fighting stance but not before looking at Izumi and Eri one more time.
"Izumi!" just then Izumi got to the entrance of the room but quickly turned around to look at Togata one last time.
"... quirkless or not, I hope you somehow become the next symbol of peace, I'll be rooting for you!" Togata then smiled at her a very warm smile, Izumi wanted to smile back but she instead cried some more and continued running toward the exit. Togata then faced Overhaul and was no longer smiling and he was even trembling a little but that was to be expected since he knew what was coming next, still he yelled with determination and charged at Overhaul to fight back.
"wait go back!"
"wh- what?!"
"please! you don't have to die for me! just take me back and Overhaul will leave you alone!"
"but then he'll keep torturing you!"
"I- I don't want to see anymore people die! please just take me back!" she's so stubborn like me, guess I now know how All Might feels Izumi made a joke but wasn't laughing due to her sadness from how badly things had gone so quickly. but she quickly wiped her tears away and continued to run down the hall.
"Eri me and Togata promised that we would get you out of that monsters grasp no matter what, and I am going to do everything I can to keep that promise!"
"but what about-"
"Togata and the others risked their lives to save you because we are heroes! and a hero never turns a blind eye to a child in need, and that include you too Eri." Eri just looked at Izumi in confusion but Izumi then just tried her best to smile brightly at Eri.
"come on, you may not believe it but your worth it, we will always save you when you're in trouble so don't think about giving yourself up to Overhaul anymore ok?" Eri still didn't smile but just nodded while Izumi continued to smile warmly hoping it would eventually encourage Eri to smile as well but then they both heard the sound of Togata scremaing in pain to which Eri started shivering in fear but Izumi quickly hid her head into her chest and covered her ears.
"its ok! its ok! we're almost out of here! listen when we get out of here! I'm gonna show you so many amazing things! hey, have you ever seen a bunny? my classmate Kota has a bunny! when we get out of here I'm gonna show you the bunny! you'll love it its so small, fluffy, and cute! and hey! its has white hair and red eyes like you do! also your small and cute as well! that means you two can be good frie-" just then several arrow shaped spikes stabbed through Izumi but thankfully each and every one of them missed Eri. Izumi then collapsed on the ground and started coughing up blood, while Eri was on top of her and only now comprehending what had just happened.
"n- no... no! please no! I don't want more people to die! please don't die!"
"you have no right to beg for her life Eri! I wouldn't have had to kill her if you hadn't gone with her, she and everyone else here, died because of YOU! You caused all of this! its always your fault and I have to be the one to clean it all up! how many times do I have to tell you to stop being so rebellious and just listen to my orders!" Eri started crying out of overwhelming sadness, Izumi wanted to say something but unfortunately she was currently choking on her own blood. soon Eri stopped crying and got off of Izumi to go with Overhaul, Izumi quickly used what was left of her strength to stop Eri by holding her hand, trying to hold her back from overhaul; However Eri just looked back at Izumi in sadness.

Eri then made Izumi let go and followed Overhaul as they both walked away; Izumi couldn't believe it, once again Overhaul was walking away with Eri and once again Izumi was allowing it to happen or at least that's how she felt. tears of sadness then started flowing out of her eyes like crazy but then she started using the last ounces of her strength to slam her fist into the ground over and over in anger. why are you saying that?! Izumi screamed in her mind its not your fault! none of it is your fault! its me who failed you! its Overhaul who's hurting everyone! your a victim! why can't you see that! why don't you run away! please don't let him torture you anymore! I don't want you to suffer a worse life than I did! please just fight! I have to save you! I don't care how! I don't care why! just let me fight! let me save Eri! Please! JUST! LET! ME! SAVE! ERI! just then Izumi turned to her dark form and she activated her spark at 20%, with the sudden rush of pain and energy flowing through her body she quickly got up and faced Overhaul with a burning rage.
"RAAAH! ONE FOR ALL: ECLIPSE!" eclipse was just another name that Izumi made up on the spot thought it seemed fitting since it was the name of her using One for All while using her dark form. she then rushed forward and rammed into him with great speed, luckily he wasn't holding Eri so when Overhaul was pushed back with such force, she was unharmed. with great speed Izumi hit Overhaul kick after kick and punch after punch hitting him in every part of his body possible trying to cause to him as much damage as possible. However despite quite literally being hit a hundred times in seconds Overhaul still managed to catch Izumi and then rammed her into the wall. she smashed right threw the wall which lead her back to the large room, she then looked around and saw that Sir Nighteye and Aizawa were both still on the ground injured badly, and so was Togata who had large cuts all over him. the sight only filled Izumi with even more rage as charged back at Overhaul who guarded himself with both his normal and mutant arms. Izumi hit him directly a few times and then followed up with a One for All: Shot but had minimal effect, she then tried to use One for All: Chop with both her hands aiming for Overhaul's mutant arms to cut them off, still no effect. Overhaul then swung his mutant arms which forced Izumi off and nearly broke her own arms due to the force.
" tch, your persistent aren't you? I'm quite surprised you can fight so well despite being quirkless but then again it actually looks like you got your quirk back, which should be impossible. " Izumi was so enraged that she had just now realized that she indeed got her quirk back even thought she was shot with the perfected nullifier bullet. then Overhaul raised his black mutant arm and at the palm of his hand there was a mouth that spoke with Nemeto's voice.
" how is it that you got your quirk back? " due to the effects of Nemeto's quirk Izumi's mind forcefully went crazy thinking of a logical explanation for how her quirk could have come back. perhaps because of the spirit of One for All? maybe the newest healing quirk she got? no both are related to quirks of her own and she was shot by the bullet that destroys all quirks therefore she should have never gotten her quirk back. however then Izumi remembered how the nullifier bullets were made with Eri's blood and by extent her quirk, she was holding Eri earlier and even held her hand directly. Izumi wasn't really sure what exactly Eri's quirk was but if anything could bring her quirk back it would have to be Eri, unfortunately she was still under Nemeto's quirk influence forcing her to spill everything.
"I don't know how, but my best guess is that by holding Eri's hand I was influence by her quirk and that somehow reversed the effects."
" hm, I see, yes that explains it, it seems no matter what happens you just keep causing more trouble Eri, you really should be ashamed of yourself. " Overhaul then turned back to the entrance of the room where Eri was standing and after hearing what he said she looked down in shame with tears in her eyes.
"don't listen to him Eri! he's a monster that bullies and tortures you! he has no right to say what you are and aren't!"
" foolish girl! I know everything about Eri! I know how she viciously erased her father from existence and how her blood and body does the exact same thing to everything it touches! I'm the only one that can stop her from hurting more people! I didn't lie when I said everyone was getting hurt or dying because of her! after all you wouldn't even be here if it was for her! so now I'm gonna kill you but in the end, IT WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR FAULT ERI! FORM NOW ON YOU MUST NEVER DISOBEY ME AGAIN! " Overhaul then started laughing as he charged at Izumi but then he was hit with an overwhelming amount of wind pressure and force he used his mutant arms to guard himself but bits and pieces of it were being chipped off little by little. then finally it was over and Overhaul couldn't help but collapse in exhaustion, he then looked up and she Izumi who had her right fist faced at him with her sleeve destroyed and her arm brace with some minor damage.
"huh, I'm surprised my arm brace managed to withstand a flaming sun, but I'm grateful because normally my hand would be stinging a little but right now it feels fine. Even with my dark form I could only use flaming burst three times but now I just got a free fourth shot and that was just my right arm, I still got my left so that means I have seven more tries to take you out!" Izumi smiled proudly and faced Overhaul in a fighting stand while seemingly full of determination this threw off Overhaul for a moment but then he started laughing, then he slammed his normal hands into the ground and suddenly the concrete beneath him was destroyed. he then placed his hands on his own body and the small chunks of concrete started fusing into his body as thick plates of concrete armor. making him look even more like a monster, actually the first word that came to Izumi's mind was abomination.
" hehehe, cool how you can bring out such an amazing amount of your power for eight times without consequences but compared to me who can use my quirk without limits your still insignificant, in other words "
"yeah, yeah! I'm like an inferior version of you and my 100% is nothing compared to your 500%"
" 500%? its more like- " just then Overhaul seemingly vanished, then Izumi felt a present behind her and activated her flaming burst as fast as she could.
" 1,000%! " Izumi only by a second managed to have her punch collide with Overhaul's fist the impact on Izumi's side officially broke her arm brace and left her not only her knuckles bleeding but her arm was in a lot of pain and her bones almost broke. Overhaul's mutant fist ended up getting lots of bits of it torn off due to the force leaving it half destroyed but with a simple touch Overhaul reconstructed the arm, good as new. Izumi couldn't help but look defeated at that moment but unfortunately she let he guard down and was hit hard in the stomach. she rolled back away form Overhaul, she quickly got up and as she did Overhaul was right above her about to smash her with his large fist but once again she countered it with another flaming burst. however it proved to be a distraction for she was hit directly on her shoulder by Overhauls other mutant fist by as she flew away Overhaul used Chronostasis's quirk and had arrow spikes grow from his mutant arm, hook into Izumi's skin, and then he started flailing her around and hitting her into the ground. after ramming her into the ground several times, he finally let her go by throwing her into one of the walls. Izumi couldn't believe not only how much pain she was in but also how she was somehow still awake.
" hahaha, can't you see it now?! how quirks have damaged out society?! look at me! look at you! one is a corpse while the other is a monster! these quirks have convince people like you to be heroes and forced people like me to act like villains! its all a disease! but my work is the cure! I will restore the proper order that quirks have taken form me and my clan! no more chaotic villains and no more disappointing heroes! I will do as the Yakuza clans of old have and maintain the order of the world from the darkness! we will be the true law and order just as we always have been! though I suppose I should apologize in advance, after all I am about to kill you when the purpose of my work is to cure sick heroes like you. but then again I can't have anyone exposing my business before I can get it running so sorry young and sick hero, but you must die. " what did I tell you about disobeying me! get off! " Overhaul then slapped Eri off of him, and the sight shocked Izumi to her core and filled her with uncontrollable rage. I have to fight! I have to fight! I have to save her! I HAVE TO SAVE ERI!

Overhaul then walks over to Eri and sees that her arm is bleeding due to his claws, Overhaul then touched her arm and it was reconstructed instantly.
" stop crying Eri, you know I'm not all bad; I only act this way because your so rebellious, but its ok. once I get us a new home, I'll get you some ice cream how does that sound? " Eri looked at Overhaul fearful but then she looked at where Izumi was in shock, Overhaul now confused turned back to Izumi who was walking out of the crater that Overhaul threw her into. As she stepped out her body started fixing itself right infront of their eyes. to add even more confusion Izumi's hair was a lot longer now and her eyes were no longer green but red, making her look like a vampire.
"what the hell? there's still more to your quirk than just strength enhancement? just who the hell are you?!" Izumi didn't respond but instead she just activated spark and in an instant dashed at Overhaul and punched him in the face.
" grrr... hahaha! haven't you learned that doesn't work? and even if it did I can just rebuild myself, like so! " Overhaul then touched his face and his head then exploded and just as fast reconstructed itself good as new. Izumi who still looked emotionless just looked at her own hands as if confused but then just as fast slammed her hand into the ground and in an instant several concrete spike grew out of the ground and shot right toward Overhaul. Overhaul only managed to guard himself by mere seconds, what the hell?! that's like my quirk! but that's impossible! Overhaul then used his mutant Chronostasis arm to shot out arrow spike at Izumi they were all aimed at her shoulder and the arrows ended up ripping her arm off instantly. despite bleeding like crazy Izumi continued to show no emotion as she put her other hand on her now ripped off shoulder and like that the blood stopped and started reversing back into her body and her arm even reattached itself as if a scene from a movie was playing backwards.
" wh- what the fuck? that was just like Eri's quirk! how are you-?!" just then Overhaul recalled two things that Shigaraki said to him on one of their previous encounters I personally think he was alright but his daughter might say otherwise. and that scum wants to be a hero anyways, it did not take long at this point for Overhaul to put two and two together.
" you! your One for All's child! " Izumi still didn't show emotion but instead phased into the ground instantly, before Overhaul could comprehend what had just happened Izumi popped up behind him and slapped him on the back. just then his spine exploded and he screamed in pain, luckily before his body fell apart he quickly slapped his own hands together and his back was fixed. but then Izumi phased into the ground and reappeared again and this time destroyed both his right normal and mutant arms to which he quickly fixed again only for Izumi to appear again and do the same to both is left arms. this continued for some time with Izumi using Togata's quirk to sneak up on Overhaul and destroy a random part of his body, to which he tried his best to fix it only for another body part to be destroyed right afterwards. after some time despite managing to fix himself every time it was quite clear that Overhaul was getting exhausted from constantly having his body destroyed and rebuilt.
" ugh! enough! " Overhaul then managed to anticipate Izumi's next move and strike her mouth ripping her jaw clean off, Overhaul then crushed the jaw he was holding in his hand but this proved to be pointless for Izumi grew a one in mere seconds. Izumi then rushed toward Overhaul ready to kill on strike, leaving Overhaul scared and panicked but then he saw Eri, quickly picked her up and used her as a shield.
" if you kill me then she dies too! is that what you want?! Eri to die?! " Izumi then stopped and backed off she was now looking scared and then she started struggling as if she was having a headache. her eyes turned from green to red and her hair was doing the same. eventually both her hair and eyes turned back to normal and she looked dazed as if she woke up from a horrible nightmare. Overhaul didn't hesitate and punched her in the face to keep her down, he was actually trying to rip her jaw off again but he was too tired to pull it off. Izumi then tired to get up as quickly as she could still seeming confused but once her vision was clear she saw Overhaul smiling at her while holding Eri in front of him like a hostage.
" hehehe, as annoying as that was I will admit it, that psycho mode of yours was pretty badass. but now playtime is over, thought I gotta say its so sweet how much you care for Eri, so much your willing to leave yourself at a disadvantage just to ensure her safety. quite adorable but still foolish." Izumi was confused as to what Overhaul meant by psycho mode, furthermore she couldn't remember what happened after she was rammed into the wall for some reason but before she could dwell any further a pillar grew from the ground and hit her in the back forcing her toward Overhaul. Izumi tried to raise her fist to him him but he raised Eri in front of him which made her stop he then slapped her into the ground with one of his mutant arms. Overhaul then held Eri with his normal arms while using his mutant arms to hit Izumi around with his mutant arms.
" hahaha! how does it feel to be the ragdoll?! this is what you get for standing in my way you bitch! "
"no please! let her go!"
" Shut up Eri! don't say another word until we are out of here! "
"leave her alone you bas-" Overhaul then hit Izumi across the face to shut her up and then continued to keep hitting her around like a ragdoll. Izumi then stopped trying to fight back and instead was trying but failing to just grab Eri and get out of there as fast as possible. Overhaul then raised the claws of his mutant arms ready to start cutting her into pieces. then as one of his claws slashed at Izumi it instead broke instantly. Izumi then fell to the ground and finally started to breath easy since she was no longer being hit but then she looked at the broken mutant arm and saw that there was a weighted piston logged into it. she then looked to the other side of the room and saw an injured Nighteye who had thrown the weighted piston.
"there's... there's still... a chance... to change the future! there has to be!" Izumi knew this was her opertunity and quickly grabbed Eri but Overhaul held onto her tight refusing to let go.
" you honestly thought that would be enough to stop me? " Overhaul then raised his other mutant arm and was ready to stab Izumi with a hundred Chronostasis arrows but then Aizawa's scarf wrapped around it, Aizawa managed to sneak behind Overhaul and was keeping his sight on all of Overhaul keeping him from using his own as well as Chronostasis and Nemeto's quirks. Izumi then smiled and then activated spark and punched Overhaul in the face and grabbed Eri. Izumi then used spark to run as fast as she could out of the room, out of desperation Overhaul pulled on Aizawa's scarf, which unfortunately pulled Aizawa forward and once he was close enough Overhaul hit him in the face. Overhaul then quickly placed his hand on the ground and in an instant spikes shot out of the ground and stabbed into Izumi's leg, not only causing her to yell in pain but keeping her from running anymore. Aizawa then tried to fight threw the pain of his wounds while trying restrain Overhaul while Nighteye was trying to do the same with what was left of his weighted pistons. Izumi tried to get up but the wound on her leg was extremely bad, it was even a miracle that her foot wasn't torn off because of how large the hole in her leg was. god, it fucking hurts! why is it taking so long for my healing powers to work?! I know I should be grateful I have it in the first place but come on! I'm trying to save Eri damn it!
"ah! this really hurts, Eri head outside there should be police out there ready to help you." Eri got up but looked down as if she was ashamed of herself while she was crying.
"why are you doing this? you wouldn't be hurt if you'd just stop trying to help me."
"... because I'm a hero, its the duty of heroes to save the innocents like you."
"but your so hurt because of it! why! why would you want to get hurt for me! I'm just a curse, it would be better for everyone if I just stay with Overhaul." Izumi then looked back at Overhaul who was still struggling to get out of Aizawa's grasp while trying to defend against Sir Nighteye's weighted projectiles. I kinda get it, from the looks of things it really would be easier to just retreat, but obviously we can't because the whole point of this was to stop Shie Hassaikai and save Eri, but she's more worried about us than herself, which is selfless but also... reckless... All Might I owe you several hundred apologizes when I get back, ok enough of that how do I convince Eri to leave. before Izumi could think of a good response Eri started walking back to Overhaul to which Izumi held her hand to stop her.
"let me go! I have to go back to stop this!"
"please Eri just go outside and let the police help you!"
"no! I can end this now! I just need to give myself to Overhaul!"
"no! Eri! the whole point of this mission was to save you!"
"why! why risk yourself for me! I'm worthless! just a curse that hurts other people!" Izumi hated hearing Eri say that but then she finally thought of something that might convince Eri to run and get help.
"Eri, you wanna know why I want to save you? its because I'm stupid."
"huh?"
"you remind me so much of myself with I was younger. I hated my self so much, I didn't think I had any value at all." Eri then looked at Izumi in shock while Izumi just smiled back at her.
"my life was horrible but it only got so bad because I allowed it to be that way, so when my hero gave me a head start I finally started changing my life and it got better. but now I see you getting hurt and thinking your worthless just like I did, only this time its because of that jerk over there I know I can make things better for you but the only thing standing in my way is him. but no matter how much he hurts me I will never stop fighting for you Eri, because I refuse to let what happened to me happen to you, never again. hm, pretty reckless I know but that's just who I am." Eri then started tearing up a little more but then she heard screaming and looked back to Overhaul and saw how he was crushing Aizawa's arm, Eri then clenched her fists and ran toward Overhaul.
"wa- wait Eri, no!"
"leave them alone!" Eri then grabbed onto Overhauls leg and activated her quirk just then, all the Nemeto and Chronostasis reverted back to normal and all the concrete simply just fell off of Overhaul.
"wh- what?! Eri! what did you do!" Overhaul then slapped Eri across the face but she continued to look at him in anger.
"what's with that look?! do you seriously never learn?!" Overhaul then put his hands on the ground but nothing happened he then looked back to Aizawa who still had his gaze on him. Overhaul just looked in disapointment, he then formed a fist and was about to start hitting Eri, but as luck would have it Izumi's healing quirk finally kicked in and she activated spark to hit Overhaul in the stomach with a Strike. Overhaul then just laied on the ground seemingly unconscious to which Izumi sighed in relief knowing things were finally over.
"M- Midoriya."
"huh? ah! Sir Nighteye! your bleeding like crazy!"
"never mind that! I- I can't see any good future's anymore!"
"wh- what? but we defeated Overhaul he's right the-" Izumi then noticed that Overhaul was gone, which almost made her heart stop out of fear.
"its not over! *cough, cough* finish the mission and get Eri out of here now!"
"do as he says Izumi." just then Togata put his hand on Izumi's shoulder.
"haha... Sorry it took me so long to get back up, guess I'm not as powerful as I thought." Togata then felt something on his leg and looked down to see it was Eri hugging him and crying.
"I'm so sorry, this was all my fault." Togata, despite the pain he was in, kneeled down to Eri's level and smiled.
"I saw what you did, Overhaul may not be defeated yet but it will be easier to bring him to justice thanks to you, I'm very grateful Eri. as of today your my hero." Eri then stopped crying and looked at Togata confused, but then Izumi picked her up and smiled brightly.
"hm, your my hero too Eri, now lets get out of this nightmare once and for all." just then part of the roof collapsed and in it Katsukame as well as Ryukyu fell in but Katsukame was knocked out while Ryukyu was only minorly injured.
"huh, I guess that's an easier way out, Eri hold on to my back ok?" Eri then looked at her hands in fear, worried she might accidently use her quirk, but Izumi just held both her hands and smiled warmly.
"don't listen to what Overhaul said, you are not a curse, besides if it wasn't for you I would have died twice already. that's why your my hero, your not a curse but a blessing." Eri couldn't help but blush when she head this, then Togata put his hand on her shoulder to get her attention.
"lots of people used to think my quirk was either useless or a curse as well but I trained a lot and now its... it was a gift I used to help other people. anyways I'm gonna help Ryukyu get Nighteye and Aizawa out of here and maybe find Overhaul just focus on getting Eri out of here ok!" there was a hit of sadness in Togata's words but despite that he still smiled and continued his hero work, Izumi couldn't help but find that admirable. still he was right, so she held Eri in her arms and activated Spark to get the two of them out of there. thought as they were soring in the sky Izumi couldn't help but look down at them to see if they were still alright, despite still bleeding and being injured badly they all did their best to get up, restrain Nemeto and Chronostasis, and get out of there. Izumi finally breathed easily knowing that the nightmare was finally over.
" give me back Eri! " just Katsukame exploded into a large red mist and from said mist several large arms shot out, one latching onto Ryukyu, anther to Nighteye, Togata, and Aizawa, it then started draining their life force.
"NO!" once the draining was done, the arms reverted back into the mist and it all reformed into a large bat like monster, as it flapped its wings causing Izumi to lose control and started falling.
"ah! Eri hold onto my back now!"
"b- but!"
"please Eri! it will be ok!" Eri then held tightly onto Izumi's shoulders and as they fell Izumi readied herself to use double strike in both her legs to try to boost herself into the sky and then hopefully descend into a safe area where the police and remaining heroes can help them. then seconds before they were about to impact the ground Izumi kicked off and was shot into the air, Izumi then looked around for anywhere they could land safely but before they could Overhaul reshaped his new body into a monster with hundreds of large claws and fists.
"RAHHH! WHY WON'T YOU JUST GET OUT OF MY WAY! CAN'T YOU SEE HOW SICK YOU ARE! THIS WHOLE SOCIETY IS DISEASED AND MY WORK IS THE CURE!" Overhaul then made one of his arms grab Izumi and Eri and bring them over to him, Eri was still on Izumi's back and unhurt but Izumi on the other hand couldn't move due to Overhaul's grasp.
"grrr! even if what your saying is true! that doesn't give you the right to torture Eri, you psycho!"
"RRRAH! YOU FUCKING HYPOCRITE! no one cries when mice die after being used to perfect medicine! besides Eri isn't being tortured! after her parents died I gave her a home and warm food! I raised her like my own daughter! she should be thankful!" Izumi couldn't help but get aggravated at this point she then turned to her dark form and used a strike to destroy Overhauls fist and get out of there quickly. Izumi knew that without her arm brace it was going to hurt a lot but she had to try regardless. However, once she used her strike her arm only hurt for a second and just as fast it felt good as new like it was never injured in the first place. Izumi was confused at first but then she activated a flaming burst and attacked Overhaul, as expected the overwhelming force caused a great deal of damage but this time her arm only broke for a second but then reverted back to normal just as fast.
"Eri? is this you?" Eri wasn't really sure what Izumi was talking about so instead she shook her head. Izumi however figured that it was defiantly Eri's influence which made her smile in delight and activated Spark and this time went all the way up to at least 50% she was expecting a large amount of pain for recoil but instead all of her skin just felt a little staticky and ticklish but nothin more. Izumi continued to smile in overwhelming joy because of how much power she had at the moment. her body was indeed getting damaged by her overuse of One for All spark but Eri's quirk was restoring her body faster than it was being damaged. Overhaul then created another fist and tried to use it to rip Izumi into pieces but she quickly dodged using her new incredible speed because of spark.
"hahaha! Eri! your quirk is amazing! your amazing!" Eri had her eyes closed at first out of fear but then she couldn't help but open her eyes in shock because of Izumi's words.
" what the hell?! Eri's quirk doesn't enhance others! how are you getting so much stronger! "
"HAHAHA! ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IS THAT YOUR GOING DOWN! PLUS ULTRA STRIKE!" Because Izumi was at 50% spark she could use a strike at 100% power making is exactly the same like a Flaming burst only more concentrated and not as powerful and thanks to Eri's quirk Izumi's arm healed almost immediately. Izumi then managed to get a good look at Overhaul's entire monster body and could see every bit of it.
"PLUS ULTRA SPARK!" Izumi then rushed around each part of Overhaul and quickly attacked before moving somewhere else.
"PLUS ULTRA STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE!" after hitting Overhaul with several strike it looked like his monster body was starting to rupture but before it would fall apart he quickly destroyed it and started rebuilding it but made sure to break it apart careful as such his body was now a bunch of large chunks of meat floating at high speed around him like a hundred shields preventing Izumi from getting close. but that wasn't the end Overhaul even made some of the chucks condense themselves into bone spear like projectiles and shot right at Izumi. once again she dodged gracefully and easily due to her amazing new speed but then she head Eri groan a little. Eri wasn't hurt but all the moving around wasn't exactly something she was used to but thankfully Izumi landed on the groud at a safe distance from Overhaul and put her hand on Eri's. to Izumi's surprise, green energy flowed through Eri and she suddenly opened her eyes feeling better than ever, she then looked at Izumi in surprise while Izumi once again smiled brightly at her.
"wow! even my healing quirk is strong now! anyways consider it a thank you for helping me go all out, just bear with it for a little while longer ok? I swear I'll save you." Eri then calmed down and nodded at Izumi to which she continued to use her quirk on Izumi and Izumi used Spark at 50% again. Izumi then jumped up in the air. Overhaul finished rebuilding the monster body and used his numerous arms to attack Izumi while midair but she managed to dodge every one and even used a Strike on each fist in order to destroy it.
" Rrrah! why do you keep fighting damn it?! why can't everyone just see how important my work is and let me finish! "
"because I-" Because I'm a hero you moron! is what Izumi was about to say but that was far to simple for the symbol of peace to say so instead she decided to say something a lot better.
"hahaha! did you know there's a saying among us heroes?!"
" it was a ritorical question! JUST DIE AND GIVE ME BACK ERI! " just then a large monster fist was about to hit Izumi hard but she quickly used Strike to destroy it but Overhaul had planed for that and quickly reconstructed the destroyed arm into a smaller but now bone armored fist. Izumi was scared at first but then got back into a fighting stance.
"When you're about to reach your limit!" Izumi then punched the armored fist with a direct strike the pain from the impact was indescribable but again her body was being restored faster than it was being damaged so she just worked through the pain untill the recoil of the force caused the armored fist to be pushed back with broken fingers.
"but there are still lives that need to be saved!" Izumi then quickly used One for All: Recovery on Eri again just to be sure she was ok.
"villains that need to be stopped!" she then used her free hand to throw another strike at the armored fist destroying it entirely but then a hundred mosnter claws surounded Izumi ready to rip her apart.
"and justice that needs to be served!" Izumi then punched down on the main body of Overhaul's monster, this time however rather than using another strike she instead used a flaming burst which unlike normally using 100% instead used 1,000% Izumi almost screamed in pain but instead bit down the pain and swallowed the blood in her mouth. she even saw for a second that her arm actually broke from the recoil but it was for only a second after Eri's quirk resorted it. but that wasn't it the recoil from the punch actually pushed Izumi in the air but from there she got a better look at Overhaul who was now exposed without his monster body, he actually looked at her in fear but then in anger as he formed all the monster chucks toward her as projectiles. Overhaul was hoping this would finall get her but like all the other time Izumi just smiled
then remember these words!" Izumi then used a double strike in both her arms after putting her arms in a defensive position but then quickly swung them open, the force from this attack caused all the projectiles to either be disintegrated or to be pushed in another direction, and because of this Overhaul was now even more exposed than before with very little to protect himself with. he then used what was left of his monster body and destroyed bits of the ground and mixed them together to form a shield to protect himself in a last ditch effort.
"go beyond! PLUS ULTRA!" the force form the punch was unbelievable it vaporized Overhauls shield and crushed him instantly and the recoil nearly ripped Izumi's arm off but yet again Izumi was able to ignore the intense pain with the help of Eri's quirk. Izumi then managed to jump off of the side of buildings to land safely onto the ground, she then carefully walked to where the crater where Overhaul was buried in now. sure enough he was still there with broken bones all over his body. he looked unconscious but then he moved his eye to look at them to which Izumi accidently used a regular strike to hit him again.
"ah! sorry! I thought you were going to attack again." now Overhaul was officially knocked out.
"ha... its finally over, damn that took forever, ok lets get you to a doctor Eri, they'll be sure to take good care of you and maybe even give you a loli-" just then Eri's quirk went out of control and Izumi felt like she was being crushed inside a box that was getting smaller by the second. Izumi then looked at her hands and noticed that they were slowly but surely shrinking. Izumi then realized that Eri's quirk was now out of control and causing her to now reverse Izumi's age rather than the effects of her quirk.
"Eri! we're safe! we're ok! you can stop using your quirk!"
"I- I can't! this is why I wanted to go back with Overhaul! he knew how to stop this! I can't stop it! I'm sorry! I don't want you to die!" Izumi then activated spark at 50% percent and started throwing her fists in the air over and over so that she could use Eri's quirk would reverse her recoil rather than her age. damn it, I can't keep this up forever! and I can feel Eri's quirk getting stronger! I won't be able to keep up soon! what do I do! think! damn it! think Izumi think! however Izumi couldn't come up with any good ideas and then it was too late Eri's quirk became so powerful that the recoil of One for All was no longer enough to delay the reverse aging but then Eri's quirk just suddenly stopped, and Eri collapsed for she had fainted. Izumi quickly picked her up and held her in her arms, she was confused at first but then she saw Aizawa who was being held up by Togata and they were both with Uraraka, Izumi then went over to them right away.
"hey! we did it! Overhaul has been defeated and Eri is safe now! thank you by the way Eraser head, I would have died if it wasn't for you."
"wouldn't be the first time really, anyways Midoriya you should escort Eri to a paramedic immediately. actually you know what; there are paramedics over there taking Nighteye to the hospital lets go catch up." they all then went over to the paramedic group as quickly as they could with Togata helping Uraraka keep Aizawa up despite Togata being injured himself. Uraraka told Izumi she could help her with Eri but Izumi smiled and said she could handle it on her own. Togata and Aizawa were immediately taken by the paramedics to be checked on while Eri was taken to the hospital straight away via ambulance. Izumi couldn't help but watch the ambulance drive away in concern, she knew Eri would be safe form now on but Izumi still wished she could still be by her side, but then she turned back to Togata who was held her hand to get her attention.
"she'll be ok, you did a good job." Izumi then managed to smile properly again because she actually felt good and not for the sake of raising the moral of someone else. just then she saw Nighteye being taken away by another group of paramedics by the looks of it he was in critical condition and they were having to put a lot of effort to keep him alive.
"oh my gosh! Nighteye! will he ok?!"
"he'll be fine, the doctors at the hospital we're going to are the best in the area, speaking of which you should let the them take you as well."
"oh you don't need to worry about me, Aizawa! thanks to Eri I was able to use my quirk without having to worry about the recoil! I feel fine, if anything I feel great!" Izumi then raised her fists in the air and smiled joyfully to which, Uraraka and Togata smiled as well but Aizawa wasn't convinced, and he turned out to be right when Izumi puked some blood and then passed out on the ground due to exhaustion. Togata and Uraraka looked at the unconscious Izumi in horror while Aizawa just looked in disappointment.
"*sigh* saw that coming, I swear this brat is like an exact replica of that idiot."
