"Somewhat Doctor. Is really crazy to be acting like this? I was never this bad when I had gotten back from Paraguay that first time with McGee for when we came back. However this time it's four times worst with my demeanor." he said to have shifted in his bed once again having to be nervous as hell.
"Look, Gibbs. This situation with Riveria really upset you because of your history with Pedro Hernandez?" she said to see her patient angry at best due to his own actions.
"And I am blaming myself because of not stopping Shannon from talking against Hernandez as an eye witness. But in this case, Shannon had called the Witness Protection Program without telling me and I had to suffer for all of these 34 years."
"You didn't have to Gibbs if you had to let it bother you so much all of these years and hurt yourself with keeping your walls up?" she was saying to him with the shaking of his head.
"Now you sound like Diane and Mike at times?" he exclaimed.
"Oh. Really! Why?" she said to him.
"Whenever I had those visions I spoke to you about. Diane had told me once down in the basement just prior to Ziva David showing up to tell me that my walls were beginning to fall to have me finally be feeling for the first time since Shannon and Kelly were supposed to have died." he will respond with tears.
"And now that they both of them are alive. Have you spoken with the both of them recently?" Doctor Grace had to say.
"Since Shannon was released from the hospital after the success with the Cell Regeneration program I haven't spoken to her, but I did with Kelly. She asked me to come down to Orlando, Florida for a visit to check out my grandchildren," he smirks.
"And will you, Jethro visit them with Loreile and your own family?" she responded with the question.
"Sure I will since I have plenty of downtimes to take with the vacation."
"Now tell me what it was like to talk with your daughter Jethro?" She asked him changing tactics.
"Jesus. Kelly is so much like me in every way Doc. It's amazing just how much smart she is as beautiful. I understand that it was her decision to come and see me after weeks of fighting with Shannon while they were on vacation in Paris."
"Who did they see while they were in Paris?"
"I was really surprised that she and her husband visited a friend of mine for which I considered as a daughter as well with Ziva and Tony originally agents working under me for years until Ziva left as with Tony four years later finding out that she was alive and with a daughter." Taking a deep breath...
"And have you seen them as well of late?" she asks with the delicate part of the question.
"She called me as with Tony and including Tali their daughter." he had tears in his eyes for the moment.
"She was so happy to be talking to Grandpa as Tony calls me at times as with Ziva."
"I think that is wonderful Jethro. You have people that care a great deal along with McGee, his wife, Kasie, Palmer, Ducky, and a few others. So you're never alone when it comes to those that love you for who you are inside and out.
"However that some of my friends that I cared about earlier had been killed because of my involvement with NCIS and the enemies
"You're not the only one Gibbs that have lost loved ones over the years. Think about Director Leon Vance with having his wife Jackie being shot with those having gone after Ziva's father and others?"
"I know Doc. I had just missed stopping them before it was too late with Jackie and David being killed during their special dinner with the Vances," he said with emotion.
"Did Ziva have a good relationship with her father before he was killed?" she asks just for the hell of it.
"No Doctor. She was having a battle due to her dual heritage between becoming a citizen of the United States." Gibbs says with a hint of a smile on his face.
"Is there any way that the both of them and including Tali to come back to the United States to once again work for NCIS once you step down from your position?" this was a question that was hard to answer?
"I really don't know Doc. I don't think they would want to uproot Tali from her friends and school right now. But it would be great to have them back here and be with their friends and there are a great many of them." he cried out.
"Anyways I will drop it with those two. If ever you do step down to work at the academy Jethro. Who do you wish to take over your position?" she was watching his face with for when it comes to this question and the importance that he will have the right man in the position.
"Senior Field Agent Timothy McGee. I can trust Tim to do the job properly Doctor Confalone. Unless Director Leon Vance has other ideas?" he will have to say.
