Bible Teaching:

Matthew 12:15-50

Welcome Brothers and Sisters to another Bible Teachings. It has been awhile and I'm sorry for having nothing planned. But now am ready to once more get into the word of the Bible and minister to you once again. Here we will continue where we left off last time, and I hope in some ways you are change after last two weeks. For the Lord is always seek those to be saved and will knock on your hearts every chance he can.

God's Chosen Servant

Matthew 12 verses 15-21 is explaining about who Jesus is and how he's prophesied by the prophet Isaiah. Where he explained in his words from the Old Testament about the coming king and how he would be when he appears. From Verses 18-21 explains what Isaiah had spoken about Jesus, "Here is my Servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on whom, and he will proclaimed justice to the nations. He will not Quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. A Bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope."

Now at the time you have to wonder why most wouldn't know about Christ Jesus and why he would come to this world. Many times this goes to misinterpretation that has been about God's word and why this was done on purpose by design. While there will be good interpreters who have God's wisdom, many times when talking of Religion, some have made misinterpretations that doesn't involve God or have his words, but not his spirit. Be mindful of those who say they are Christians, yet might say something against God's word. For example if they proclaim that the Bible is out of date, that's already a warning sign not to follow them. Many times we are to study the Bible and know all his words by his Holy Spirit living in us, without this we cannot understand his words clearly as many of us should.

For the Scribes and Pharisees, they probably had some good intentions from the start, but have lost their way by others teaching falsely or not understanding God's word. This especially means for Prophecy as for many times, they have been given as God's chosen people to know when their King of all nations will arrive, the son of man known as Jesus Christ. Yet they somehow missed this and never realize by the end what they have done. Those that have known realize what was to happen and this event has and forever will be remembered. It's honestly sad when hearing how those who have his word, still miss the mark. And that can happen to any of us when we don't allow the Holy Spirit to interpret for us. If you are an follow of Christ, pray for his wisdom and understanding from the Holy Spirit, and he will not lead you astray, if need convince Proverbs 3:5-6 says, Trust in the Lord with all your Heart, and lean not in your understanding. Acknowledge in all his ways, submit to him and he will make your path straight. We must not use our own knowledge to interpret God's great wisdom and knowledge, for in our own strength we will always fail.

Jesus and Beelzebul

Matthew 12 verses 22-37 talks about how Jesus had healed an Demon possessed man, everyone is amazed by this and some saying, "Could this be son of David?" Yet once again when given the opportunity the Pharisees took this moment and said, "It is only by Beelzebul, the Prince of Demons, that this fellow drives out demons."

Now that is some bold claim, yet once more not everyone knew who Jesus was and those who did have said otherwise. Yet these people who disliked/hated Jesus because his words left pricks in their hearts made them want to kill Christ Jesus. For them when that time came, it was through shady and unjustified means, they really had unyielding hatred towards Christ. Imagine having to deal with people for 3 years and then die by their hands when you knew it was from God's command and you obeyed his words, but others tried to hinder you.

Yet Lord Jesus already knew this of their thoughts and hearts of men, and he said to them in Verses 25-29,"Every Kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you. Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house."

Very powerful words Christ Jesus has said, for many of us that use Fanfiction or have watch some shows, games, cartoons or anything involving media have people using demon powers or some other stuff. Look up Matthew 12:25-29 and remind yourself that Satan cannot drive out demons, Christ even says that Satan has his own Kingdom and how if he turned against one another they would have been divided. This should tell many of us that Satan is always working against us united with his followers of fallen Angels at his beck and call. You can never outsmart the devil, you can't use their power against one another, or anything involving Satan and his ways. The only one divided in this broken world is us, for Humanity is the only kingdom that is divided against one another.

The Next parts explained what the Pharisees have done from Verses 30-37 and what it implies when we speak against in certain ways. For Christ has said we can be forgiven of many things, but when we speak against the Holy Spirit, no one is forgiven either in this age or in the age to come. That is the Unpardonable Sin, THE only sin that will never be forgiven because it's turning against the Holy Spirit and your claim against God. Be very aware of this and never speak against the Holy Spirit.

The Sign of Jonah

Matthew 12 verses 38-45 shows the Pharisees and teachers of the Law asking Christ Jesus, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from you." Yet Lord Jesus speaks of how this generations of wickedness asked him of a sign. He then tells of Jonah and how when he spent 3 days and nights in the belly of some Huge Fish will be the same for Son of Man at the heart of Earth. Speaking of what is to come and what will happen. He even says about how men of Nineveh and Queen of the South will meet at the Judgement with this generation and condemn it. Powerful words about what has happen, how the generation Christ Jesus lived is filled with much wickedness. Yet still wanted to tell of the good news to many that will hear and learn from Jesus. In both times in history Jesus speak of how they are saved after hearing from Jonah and Solomon's Wisdom in their respective times.

Jesus then speaks about the Impure Spirit, about how when it was cast out it find no resting place or can find no place to call home, yet it then returns and brings seven other spirits like it towards that him more wicked and worse then the last one. Christ Jesus speaks about how Impure Spirits that live in us can return if we are not careful and heed God's word with great care and sensitivity towards the Holy Spirit and God's words of Wisdom.

Jesus Mother and brothers

Matthew 12 verse 46-50, this last part is what's most interesting and view point of God. For when someone in the crowd told Christ saying, "Your mother and Brothers are standing outside wanting to speak to you." Jesus Replied to him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" Then pointing to his disciples said, "Here are my mother, and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother." Here we see how God views us and how we are to him as his children of God. It's most interesting because of what many things of myth and legends we hear about Goddess and other deities involved in them. Yet here we see that God view himself as the only father as Lord Almighty, along with God the Son or Son of Man Christ Jesus, and with the Holy Spirit as the Holy Trinity or in some cases 3 persons of One God, and One God of 3 persons. While many of us living in this world are brothers, sisters and mothers to raise other children as brothers and sisters alike. This tell us we should always have God perspective in everything and everyday life, pray for this understand and for his guidance on everything from hardest times to normal times.
