Not being in school has given me chances to be with the girls more. It's given us all chances to be here more. It's honestly nice to see the girls smiling. I've never seen everyone so happy.

Judy is teaching sugar softball. Maribel has taught whoever wants to cook how to. I've been able to help get things done. It's been a good time around the house.

So it's only common sense everyone is on edge. I mean things don't go our way like this. We never get a happy break that doesn't end horribly. So we all are braced for the worst to come.

We can hope nothing happens but it's not our luck. We all know how it's been for a while now. We are all also still stuck in the house. But the backyard has been made into a dig up softball field.

We've luckily only ended up with one broken window. Judy didn't realize Sam had more muscle on her. Luckily, no one was in there at the time. I've never seen the girls all crawl so fast though.

We barely got there on time to get them away from the broken glass on the ground.

Knock knock knock

"Uhh" I share a confused look with everyone in the room "Anyone expecting someone?"

"No" Mom gets up and walks to the front door with a baseball bat "But they aren't expecting this!"

"Mom!" I run over and grab the bat as she opens the door "Kate? Amanda?"

"H-hey" Amanda shivers with no jacket while Kate has two on her "O-our pow-powe-power went out"

"Get in here!" I pull Amanda into me and look at my mom "Get the heaters and some blankets!"

Amanda finally has some color to her after about an hour. We got her covered in blankets and heaters on full blast toward her. How long have they not had power? Based on how bad she looked I'd guess a while.

"It's still cold in here" I look over at Judy "You are our survival expert!"

"Carole go over and cuddle with your girlfriend!" Carole nods and is quickly holding onto her "I don't know what else really to do"

"I'm gonna regret this" Janine sighs and looks at Rachel "I have a headache but getting a bunch of hot air in the room could help"

"Ing?" Janine nods and Rachel is off "I et ong!"

"What can I do?" We all look up to see Judys mom Amber "I was a scout leader and a nurse"

"Not a good one" I smack Judy on the thigh as Amber frowns "Go turn on the fire place and burn some wood"

Amber smiles and heads toward the fire place "Ok" She grabs some wood and the fire starter "I won't mess this up"

I smile and see Judy smile too. She really is trying to be better. Maybe she will make up for her mistakes. Maybe she is the bad that has come to us.

"I ot t!" Rachel comes in with a smile and a toy microphone "I ing!"

"You all are over reacting" We look at a smiling Amanda "I'm not dying over here you know"

"I'm still not letting go" Carole cuddles closer "I haven't seen you in a bit"

"How long was the power out?" I see Amber frown "We will still use the fire"

She nods with a smile "It was out for three days" I look at Amanda shocked "Yeah..I thought it would've turned back on"

"Crews haven't been able to get out yet" Madison sighs "It's been a horrible time honestly...I can't believe this is happening"

"I think it's beautiful" Madison rolls her eyes and Maribel glares "Hey! I can have my opinion!"

"It still sucks though" They both stand up angry "You look like a beached whale!"

"Girls please" Amber gets between them "You are pregnant and fighting isn't good"

"Shut it miss perfect!" Madison pokes her in the chest "I still remember what you did! I haven't forgiven you yet bitch! I don't really like you being here!"

"Hey" Judy stands up angry "Thats my mom you're talking to"

"Hey" I see the girls and babies start to cry "This is not ok! You're hurting the kids!"

"Oh the kids?!" Maribel shakes her head and sarcastically laughs "Shelby cares about the kids!"

"Hey!" I get up now angry "I have proven I love these girls! I do more than you do! What's the last thing your tried before cooking?"

"Real mature!" She points to her stomach "I trie..oh wait! You can't have a baby! So shut the hell up!"

We all stop and see the tears fall down her face. All of them have tears falling. I hear a sniffle and notice it's not from the kids. I look up to see Maribel crying.

"Everyone else has their mom" Maribel shakes her head "Why can't I have mine? Why does mine have to be the only one dead?!"

"You have moms" Amber points toward mine, Madison's, Emma's, and cassandras "They are taking care of you like their own...they treat your daughter like their own..better than I've ever treated my family"

"I'm sorry Mari" Madison sighs "I should not have said what I did...can you forgive me?"

"She can" I Sit back on the ground "I don't know if I can"

"I'm so sorry Shelby" Maribel does her best to get to my height "I stooped down low to bring you down where I was at...it wasn't fair and I'm sorry about doing that"

"You can work on fixing it during break" She nods and I sigh "We all knew something was coming"

"I'm sorry" Amber frowns "I should have stayed away"

"It wasn't you" Judy puts a arm around her moms shoulders "We all get uptight when things go good for us...we are the reason it goes bad"

"We need to just let it roll" We all nod and mom sits down beside me "Stop caring what happens"

We all nod in agreement and go into light conversation. Cassandra ends up cuddling on my lap. Maribel doesn't talk to me though. She knows that she hurt me real bad.

Hopefully we are able to make up. But that's on her to decide. I guess we will see this week. Hoping can only go so far.

But doesn't mean I'm gonna stop anytime soon.
