Steven didn't know that is something else that causes Redfire to act as a thing, all Steven could do is keeping an eye on both until Link recovers. Meanwhile back to Link's dream, he faces Megidramon. Link wonders what Redfire has gone to,' Redfire what happened, how did you become this.' Once Link walks forward, Redfire stand-back as he's afraid of Link. The link makes it easy to megidramon, 'Is alright buddy, do you remember Link?' Redfire began to weep from his glowing red eyes,' I failed to protect you KO, I'm sorry I…didn't save you. I'm worried that I might fail Link too.' Link realizes that he is sensing KO's aura,' No Redfire is not your fault, is his fault for being scared after his powers were negated and decide to fight. I know you wanted to protect KO, but how soy protect someone if you can't protect yourself.' Redire weeps softly,' I miss him but If I told Steven is my fault, he might….' Link woke up and sees Steven hugging Redfire, Redfire finally got his worst demons out of the way before weeping into Steven's jacket. Link gets close to Redfire before hugging, 'Is alright, this is why I'm here because Ko knows that you didn't fail. You could stay with me as KO wanted to be on your side as friends to the end.' Steven writing his notes that he needs some therapy sessions right away for his Digimon to feel comfortable where Link is around. We are not in a flashback story crossover with Maya and three but I want to tie in some loose ends like SU: F but connections to that because it involves going to Maya ruins before the real story of this arc begins.
