While girls planned their move, Naruto was meeting up his student. Naruto had many students but not all of them were in high ranks.
Besides Konohamaru and his gang, Kiki was his special student.
Kiki was someone that should hate Naruto to the core by most people's expectation but he was extremely loyal to him.
Kiki was the son of the Earth Daimyo that Naruto had personally executed. Kiki had been present when the process took place.
It was an incident that took place a decade ago when he was just a child of ten. Unlike Naruto's children he wasn't trained that much so his mindset was only slightly better than normal kids.
It was on that day when his bloodline awakened and he was taken by the man who destroyed his life. Kiki was meant to become the Daimyo when he got older but now it had been given to someone else, someone not from their family.
He was a spoilt child with no guts, so he didn't think about getting revenge in those days. He was terrified that the monster would kill him if he made a peep.
But, Naruto treated him like his own child and Kiki thought he would take advantage of it. He trained under Naruto and wanted to kill him with the power brought by his enemy's hand. It would be such an ironic ending.
There were many chances to kill him and Kiki couldn't hold back from trying his hand. He was aware that Naruto was too strong so he utilized weapons that could do some damage.
He stabbed into Naruto's neck and thought it was over. He felt some joy at accomplishing his goal and killing such an abomination, but then he felt empty.
There was nothing in this world for him. Everything he knew before the tragedy was gone.
Naruto was the only one he had. His target had never showed him displeasure and gave him love that his own father never did.
Kiki realized that his own father had only given him wealth, not love. Naruto gave him everything and actually taught him to be a person.
Once that realization hit, Kiki felt his heart sink and he couldn't move from his place. He cried again like the day his blood father had died.
When Naruto stood up and the blood disappeared, Kiki wasn't terrified but relieved and he hugged Naruto.
This was a test for Kiki, a test of his character and he had passed. Naruto didn't mind getting hurt since it wasn't permanent to him.
If Kiki had shown no remorse, he would have been thrown into the rehabilitation and never gotten close to Naruto again.
He won and Naruto taught him more than ever. Kiki learned why his father deserved to die. He learnt proper morals and leadership skills.
Naruto told him if he wanted to become a leader, then he had to prove it and have people acknowledge it.
"Nobody is born to rule and that will be the new reality of this world."
Kiki changed a lot from that day. He became confident and perceptive of people's needs. He grew powerful and wise.
He was younger than Konohamaru but both of them were rivals. Konohamaru took Naruto as his big brother while Kiki took Naruto as his father.
Kiki was extremely loyal and followed Naruto's words to the T. He learned from Naruto and acted like him.
He did all kinds of things for people whenever he could and earned their respect. This led to him becoming the mayor of Kolkata, one of the cities of Land of Earth.
Land of Earth was the largest country on the continent while Artoria's Empire was the largest on the Planet.
Kiki looked up to Naruto and wanted to help him with ruling the world. He wished to clean up the image of his family so he was working up the ladder.
He was the one of the people aware that the current system was about to disappear soon.
His leadership skills were remarkable and his power couldn't be ignored as he had been chosen by Aries, the son of Zeus and Hera.
"Lord Seventh sorry for the sudden request, but I wished to show you a certain man." Kiki was a young man in his twenties but his mind was beyond the age of hundred at this point. He was a man with handsome look with long brown hair that came to his waist and was tied in a pony tail. He had blue eyes and two purple crystal marks on his forehead that appeared with his bloodline.
He had the bull tattoo on his back signifying his connection to Aries.
He wore a dark brown three piece suit and black shoes, looking dashing. His voice was formal and respectful as they were not in private.
On his side stood a man with long black hair and black eyes who was wearing a white Kimono with black outlines.
He looked like a gentleman with exceptional wisdom from the way he held himself and his presence.
"This is Mister Jigen from the capital. He is a great Businessman and philanthropist, who had been helping out from before the war. He was also one of the people that helped with the abolishment of slavery. He had been doing all this without any fanfare. I only found out about all his deeds while looking through the records and realized that he deserves some recognition.
But Mister Jigen declined such a preposition and only desired to meet Lord Seventh in a public setting." Kiki introduced Jigen respectfully as he liked people that did great deeds. His voice and body language clearly told the same message.
The trio had gathered in a club for people like them, the gentleman's club, and sat near the artificial mountain and waterfall.
With Kiki's description, Naruto also checked the information from the central system. He wasn't like the old Naruto, taking words from others without proof. Kiki was his student and loyal follower but there was also the problem that people can manipulate the mind.
It was his job as the leader to be sure of everything before making a move.
"Lord Kiki is giving me too much credit. I have only done the minimum someone of my standing can perform." Jigen spoke in a gentle manner, showing no arrogance or pride. He showed that he didn't really think too much of his generous deeds.
He was clear and all the information was correct. His words increased Naruto's perception of him for the better.
"Please don't act so humble, you deserve all the praise. I am in awe of your great deeds. In a world where kindness was a luxury, you went beyond the boundaries. I am sorry that I have overlooked your presence for so long." Naruto gave a happy smile as he shook Jigen's hand and showed genuine gratitude.
Naruto loved people that did good deeds and loved to reward them, even if they didn't do it for the rewards.
Jigen was honored and didn't try to talk him out of it. It was hard to do so with Naruto and his words brought great joy to the listener. His praise was special. Everything Naruto did was filled with power and just looking at him brought comfort.
It was one of the reasons why Naruto was always on TV. He was part of many different educational programs and Interviews.
"Thank you for your kind words, Lord Seventh. I am extremely flattered by this meeting."
"I am pleased that you are happy. Please sit." Naruto took a seat and the others followed. Kiki was aware of Naruto's choices and ordered a light meal.
"Lord Seventh, please accept these small gifts from your humble servant." Jigen presented a small scroll that was absolutely luxurious.
It was one the things expected from people meeting Naruto.
This was Jigen's desire to meet him and declining would look bad, so he took it graciously.
"I know that you haven't asked for a reward but, I wish to grant you a gift. Your deeds have touched my heart." Naruto put away the gift and held his hand open to create a gift for Jigen.
People liked the show so he did it slowly for people to enjoy. From a look at Jigen, Naruto could see that he wore ear piercings.
Naruto made a new set of them with better materials and power.
Not everyone could boast about such a thing and Jigen was granted a boon worth more than all his deeds in the financial terms.
Jigen opened his mouth and wanted to say no but he understood that Naruto wanted to give to him for genuine respect.
"Thank for this gift, I will always treasure it." Jigen took the gift and stored it away in his storage device. They were both enemies but Jigen truly respected Naruto.
It was the reason why he wanted to meet him. He wanted to know his rival from up close, instead of through reports.
Just as he had expected, they were just so compatible. If it wasn't for this situation, Ishiki believed that Naruto could have ended up as his right hand.
It was truly tragic that they ended on the opposite sides.
"You are welcome, and if you want anything else then do not hesitate." Naruto felt comfortable with the man. He had no fear. He had no negative thoughts and mostly a good background.
It wasn't easy to find people that were actually this good from the old age. Jigen seemed to come from a rich background and it was completely clean from the start.
His family owned a pharma company and hospitals across the world. They even had a fashion brand and a stake in the Coliseum battles, owning several teams.
"I am satisfied with this meeting. I have always wanted to see Lord Seventh from up close and hear your words personally."
"I can understand, things can be different from what they seem."
Jigen smiled, "Exactly, I have come across wrong examples so I always have some reservations."
"I don't mind and I agree with your point of view. I only make my final assessment after knowing a person for some time." Naruto replied to calm him down as Jigen spoke in an apologetic tone.
"It pleases my heart to hear those words and I hope that I can be someone that Lord Seventh remembers fondly."
"You have made a commendable first impression and with more meetings we can see where we stand." Naruto laughed lightly and gave them a nod as he took his drink.
Kiki knew Naruto would like Jigen and just as expected, there were more meetings planned for the future.
Naruto was very formal and stood at a high place but that didn't mean, he wouldn't entertain new friendships.
Friendship was part of Naruto's character, he always extended his hand to others and their actions decided the final outcome.
The world was like a family to Naruto, though he did say that he loved his family more than the world. Naruto didn't like to lie and this was something he didn't want to hide.
He was clear cut in his love for everyone.
On the other hand Jigen didn't know Naruto that much so it was surprising to hear such words. It was an ideal outcome as he would love to sit down and talk with his nemesis over a glass of wine or a cup of tea.
With this they would end talking like real friends if things didn't go awry and give Ishiki a glimpse of what could have been.
"I am honored."
Jigen spoke with Naruto over the small meal about politics and business. It was mostly formal but they got a better read of each other through this meeting.
A.N Hope you enjoyed
I love the trope of the Hero and Villain having a chat without fighting. It's just so fun to watch.
There will be multiple fights between Ishiki and Naruto. He is the midboss of the story. You can guess how it ends.
Even though I am writing this part of the story, I am still thinking about the second part as well.
There are also the powers and items.
So I will let you guys participate in the thought process. You can make suggestion.
