Chapter 50: Queen Kiara

It's the first week of August, meaning that May is 20 weeks pregnant.

And today is the day Kiara has been waiting for. Today is her wedding to Prince Bradley of the Rose Kingdom. And also the day that she is crowned Queen of Rose. She'll be leaving Hoenn to live with Bradley in Rose, which is really far away. But May is still proud of her.

After all...Kiara saw what was in Bradley's heart all those months ago when he asked her to be his girlfriend for a second time. And May could see the love between them.

But even so...May needs to make absolutely sure that she's in good hands with Bradley.

May walked to Bradley's room of his castle. Drew, May, Kiara, Caroline, and Norman had flown in a plane to Rose for the wedding. The wedding and Coronation are being set in the ballroom of Bradley's castle.

May knocked on Bradley's bedroom door.

"You can't see me yet!" She heard Bradley call from inside.

"It's me." May said.

"Oh. Come in."

May opened the door and entered. She closed the door behind her.

"What can I help you with, Your Majesty?" Bradley asked.

May turned around to see several maids sprucing Bradley up in his tuxedo. She walked to him. "I just need to tell you something."

"What is it?"

May stepped closer to Bradley with a stern expression. The maids backed away when Bradley stepped back. May had walked forward, invisibly pushing Bradley back and against a wall.

"Now, I'll make one thing clear." May said sternly. "You better not hurt my sister. I don't want to find out that you're a terrible husband to her after today. I'm warning you...if something is troubling her, she will talk to me about it. And I don't want to hear that you're the problem. Understand?"

Bradley gulped and just nodded.

"Good." May backed away. "I know how much Kiara cares about you. And I hope you'll prove to be a nice brother-in-law."

Bradley gave May a small smile. "I know how much you care about her as well, so I give you my word. I'll take good care of your sister. And she'll be safe here."

May smiled and nodded. "I'll see you later." With that said, she left the room.

May entered the ballroom where she left Drew. She went to the front row where Drew and her parents are. She sat down next to Drew.

"There you are." Drew said. "Did you let Bradley have it?"

May smiled. "I just told him to make sure Kiara stays safe."

Drew gave May a skeptical look.

"Okay, okay." May said. "I was really stern with him. And I made him promise to keep her safe."

Drew smiled. "That's my wife."

May giggled. She paused for a moment before speaking. "Everyone in Rose was invited, huh?"

"Yeah. Just like our wedding. And there are also TV reporters here, in case the people back in Hoenn want to watch Kiara's wedding."

"Sounds cool. I can't wait for it to start."

The ballroom is packed with the citizens of Rose. The decorations are all up, the officiant is in place, royal guards are guarding the area, and Bradley is waiting at the end of the aisle for Kiara. The song "Here Comes The Bride" started playing.

The ballroom doors opened and Kiara was revealed in a beautiful baby blue ball gown wedding dress. Everyone stood up and turned around to see Kiara. She has a baby blue veil, flowing out of her tiara, and a bouquet of white and blue roses.

May could see through everyone that Kiara glanced at her. Kiara showed May a little bit of her scepter from behind the bouquet, and May got the picture.

May pulled out her scepter. "Teleport." She whispered to herself. Kiara's Scepter of Hope teleported to May. Drew looked at her, and May just smiled.

Kiara faced forward and began walking down the aisle. The people would bow to her as she passed them. And when Kiara got to the first row, she handed her bouquet to Drew who's at the end seat. And Drew handed it to May.

Everyone in the ballroom sat down. Kiara walked to Bradley, facing him in front of the officiant.

The officiant started the wedding by saying some words, Kiara and Bradley got to say their vows, and then-

"Prince Bradley, do you take Princess Kiara to be your wedded wife?" The officiant asked, handing Bradley a ring. "Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, and to remain faithful to her for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." Bradley said. He slid the ring onto Kiara's ring finger on her right hand.

"Princess Kiara, do you take Prince Bradley to be your wedded husband?" The officiant asked, handing Kiara a ring. "Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, and to remain faithful to him for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." Kiara said. She slid the ring onto Bradley's ring finger on his right hand.

Bradley's parents walked up to them with their crowns in hand. Kiara and Bradley faced them.

"Being rulers of a kingdom means that you are compassionate." The King said. "You always put your subjects first. And you can protect your kingdom from harm in any situation. And so...is Your Majesty willing and able to stand by the people of Hoenn and protect them from enemies that come from any part of the world?" He asked Bradley.

"I am willing and able." Bradley answered.

"Then repeat after me. I, Bradley, will rule with compassion, extending justice and mercy to all my people."

"I, Bradley, will rule with compassion, extending justice and mercy to all my people."

The King held the crown up and placed it on Bradley's head. Bradley smiled. And now it's time for the Queen to crown Kiara.

"Is Your Majesty willing and able to stand by the people of Hoenn and protect them from enemies that come from any part of the world?"

"I am willing and able." Kiara answered.

"Then repeat after me. I, Kiara, will rule with compassion, extending justice and mercy to all my people."

"I, Kiara, will rule with compassion, extending justice and mercy to all my people."

The Queen held the crown up and placed it on Kiara's head. Kiara smiled. Bradley's parents went back to their seats.

Kiara and Bradley faced each other.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife." The officiant said. "You may kiss the bride."

Bradley and Kiara took a step towards each other and Bradley ran his hand through her hair. He then leaned in and pressed his lips against Kiara's. Everyone started cheering and applauding.

Everyone is in a different ballroom now for the reception. Music is playing, food is being eaten, and couples are dancing. May, Drew, Kiara, Bradley, May's parents, and Bradley's parents are all at a table together.

"Okay. I think it's time for you two to get on that dance floor." May said.

"Us?" Kiara questioned.

May nodded. "Yeah. Go on."

"But...can't we finish eating first?" Bradley asked.

"Are you...nervous to dance?" May teased.

"What? Nervous? What makes you think that I'm nervous?"

"Because you're stalling."

Bradley didn't say anything. Kiara took his hand. "Don't worry. I got the best singers in the world to perform for everyone."

"Who?"

Kiara looked at May and Drew. May nodded and stood up, pulling Drew to his feet. "Ow." Drew said, catching up with May. "Too hard. Too hard."

They walked up on a stage and faced each other. "Sorry, Sweetie. But we have work to do."

Drew smiled. "Right."

They walked up to a microphone. "Everyone, can we have your attention?" May asked.

The music stopped and everyone looked up at May and Drew.

"Let's give it up for your new King and Queen! Get on the dance floor, you two."

The audience started applauding. The dance floor cleared. Kiara pulled Bradley to the middle of the dance floor.

"Now, time to dance."

Drew signaled the band to start playing the song that they had told them before the wedding even started.

(This song is "Love Is in Bloom" from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.)

Kiara and Bradley both smiled at each other. They started dancing while May sang. "Love is in bloom. A beautiful bride, a handsome groom. Two hearts becoming one. A bond that cannot be undone because"

"Love is in bloom." May and Drew sang together. "A beautiful bride, a handsome groom. I said love is in bloom. You're starting a life and making room for us."

May looked at Drew who just nodded. Drew continued the song into the microphone. "You're special day." May pulled out her scepter. "We celebrate now, the royal way." May levitated Kiara's scepter that she still had from the wedding and it flew over to Kiara. "Your friends are all right here." Kiara smiled at May and took her scepter, it's blue diamond jewel glowing brightly. "Won't let these moments disappear because"

"Love is in bloom." May and Drew sang to the audience. "A beautiful bride, a handsome groom. I said love is in bloom. You're starting a life and making room for us...for us…" they sang, finishing the song. Bradley twirled Kiara to him, planting his lips on hers.

Back in Hoenn. With the wedding and Coronation of Queen Kiara and King Bradley finished, Kiara can now pack and get ready to move to Rose.

May entered Kiara's room. "So, moving out…"

Kiara looked at May and smiled. "Yeah...I don't want to leave, but...I can't rule Rose from here."

May laughed a bit and sat down on the bed. Kiara joined her. "You take care over there, okay?" May asked. Kiara nodded. "And you can always talk to me if something is bothering you."

Kiara smiled. "Thanks, sis. I really think I should say goodbye to the gang and goddess before leaving as well."

"Good idea."

Kiara had just gotten back from saying goodbye to the gang and the goddess. They'll all miss her, but they support her in ruling Rose. With Kiara's suitcases all packed, she's ready to head to the airport and fly back to Rose. She's in front of a carriage and her bags and things are in the carriage already.

May, Drew, Caroline, and Norman are here to see her off. Kiara walked to May and hugged her. "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too." May said.

Kiara backed away from May and gave Drew a hug. "I'll miss you, brother."

"Me too. Take care." Drew said.

Kiara backed away from Drew. "Take care of my sister." She smiled. "I know you already do that though. But take care of her. And your baby when she comes."

Drew nodded. "You have my word."

Kiara nodded. "And I'll come visit. I hope that I'll be welcome to…"

"Of course you are." May said.

Kiara smiled. "My first visit will be when you give birth to my niece."

May smiled. "We look forward to seeing you again."

Kiara went to hug her parents and say her goodbyes before entering the carriage. She looked down at May and Drew. "I may be moving to a faraway kingdom, but this place will always be my home. Take good care of it like the great rulers you are."

May and Drew both nodded. Kiara waved to everyone before telling the coachman to drive her to the airport. Everyone waved back as the carriage started moving away from the castle.

May exhaled when the carriage exited castle walls. "We'll miss you, Kiara. Take good care of yourself…"
