Aurora POV

I gasped as I was startled awake. I raised my hand to my head before reaching over to my glass of water and finished it before heading back to sleep.

~Dream~

I felt awake, but I knew I wasn't. I got up and went to fill my dream glass. I walked down the hall and without realizing I was being stalked. I opened the bathroom door, only find myself at the Bronze.

I continued to walk through the bronze. I see Willow sitting down at a table with cups of coffee and tea and an organ grinder's monkey.

"L'hippo a pique' ses pantalons," I heard Willow say to the monkey. (Translation: The hippo stole his pants.)

I shook my head and walked over to the table. I looked up to see Buffy standing next to me as we were next to the table. We looked at Willow curiously as Willow smiled at us and waved. We raised our hands back but I remained confused about the monkey. Buffy and I continued on and found Aunt Joyce holding a large cup and saucer.

Aunt Joyce looked up at us as she saw us coming.

"Do you really think you're ready, Buffy, Aurora?" Aunt Joyce questioned.

"What?" Buffy and I responded as we watched as Aunt Joyce dropped the saucer and walked away.

We continued to watch Aunt Joyce go until we started looking around the room again. We walked past Willow again towards the crowd to the stage. It was empty, no band tonight. I turned around as Buffy continued to look around. I smiled warmly as I saw Angel, Elijah and Cole standing at the pool table. They smiled at me and started towards me. I started walking towards them. I gasped to see Drusilla behind Angel. I watched without being able to move to see her stabbing Angel in the back with a stake and pulled it out.

"Angel!" I screamed as he and I reached out towards each other.

I watched as he disintegrated before my eyes. I watched as Elijah's neck was snapped and Cole was knocked out.

"Happy Birthday, Buffy, Aurora," Drusilla said as she took few steps towards us.

~DREAM~

I woke from my nightmare. It was morning. I quickly sat up, surprised and confused about what I had just dreamt.

"Aurora!" Kate, Kyra, Jeremy and Buffy said as they came running in.

"Are you okay?" Kate asked.

"Just a bad dream. I have to go and check on Angel," I said as I got up.

Jeremy left the room as I started to change into my clothes, shoes and accessories for the day. I quickly did my hair and headed to get Brianna ready. I got Brianna, changed and ready for the day. I knew that I needed Brianna with me when I went to check on Angel. I got Brianna into her car seat and headed out the door with our bags.

Twenty minutes later, Cole, Brianna and I were at Angel's apartment. I started knocking on the door.

"Hold on," I heard a voice say.

I saw the knob turn and the door open. I stood there in front of Angel with a worried look on my face.

"Hey. Is everything okay?" Angel questioned.

"That's what we were gonna ask you," I responded. "You're okay, right?"

"Sure. I-I'm fine," Angel replied as he gestured for us to come in. "What's up?"

I pushed Brianna's stroller in as Cole came up behind me. Angel swung the door partially closed before walking over to grab a shirt.

"Um... I-I had this... dream that Drusilla was alive," I stuttered.

"What happened?" Angel asked as he pulled on his shirt.

"She killed you. Right in front of me. She also snapped Elijah's neck, and Cole was knocked out," I stated.

"It was just a dream. It wasn't real," Angel said as he tried to reassure me.

"But it felt so real," I replied.

"It wasn't. I'm right here. Cole is here, and Elijah is with Giles," Angel said as he placed his hand on my cheek.

Just as his hand on my cheek, I got a vision... Angel and I at the docks... Angel and I at the warehouse... Angel and I in bed... Angel outside screaming...

"What is it?" Cole questioned.

"Nothing," I whispered before returning to my real voice. "Angel, th-this happened before. The dreams that I had about the Master. They came true."

"Still, not every dream you have comes true," Angel responded as he and Cole tried to reassure me again.

"What Angel means, what else did you dream of last night? Can you remember?" Cole questioned.

"I dreamt..." I started to say as I looked down. "I dreamt that Giles, Buffy, Kate, Kyra and I opened an art supply warehouse in Vegas."

"See our point?" Angel responded.

"Yeah, I-I do, but..." I said as I took a deep breath and let it out. "What if Drusilla is alive? We never saw her body."

"She's not. But even if she were, we'd deal," Cole said as he tried to reassure me.

"W-w-what if she is..." I started to say.

Angel grabbed and kissed me. I started to respond, and a couple of kisses later, we broke off.

"What if what?" Angel questioned as we stared at each other.

I turned to see Cole feeding Brianna a bottle of formula. That I had forgotten to feed her before we left. I winced at the thought.

"I'm sorry. Were we talking?" I whispered.

Angel leaned over to me again. We put our arms around each other and pulled us closer.

"I'm sorry. I, um..." I said as I pulled away. "Cole and I have to get to school and Brianna to Jenna."

Cole placed Brianna back into the stroller after burping her. He pulled the blanket over for her to sleep. We headed for the door.

"I know," Angel replied as he followed us.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me into another kiss before stopping once more, but our foreheads were touching.

"Oh, God, you feel..." I started to say.

"You have to get to school," Angel interrupted as he guided us to the door.

"Right. I know. This is us," I responded as I backed into the apartment and shut the door. "We're going."

We began kissing again before stopping and looking at each other.

"You still haven't told us what you wanted for your birthday," Angel stated.

"Surprise me," I responded with a smile.

"Okay, we will," Angel returned with a smile.

We kissed once more before pulling away.

"This is nice. I like seeing you first thing in the morning," I stated.

"It's bedtime for me," Angel told me.

"Well, then I like seeing you at bedtime," I responded. "Um... Um, heh... Y-you know what I mean."

"I think so. What do you mean?" Angel questioned.

"I like seeing you. The part at the end of the night where we say goodbye..." I replied. "It's getting harder."

"Yeah, it is," Angel replied.

"Well, we have to go. I'll see you later," I told Angel before kissing him goodnight and heading off to school.

When I got to school, I met up with Willow, Kate, Kyra, and Buffy. Cole walked off to give Brianna to Jenna. I was telling the girls what I had said to Angel.

"'I like you at bedtime?'" Willow repeated what I told her.

"You actually said that?" Buffy questioned.

"I know, I know," I responded.

"Man, that's like... I-I dunno, that's moxie or something," Willow stated.

"Totally unplanned. It just... came out," I replied.

"And he was into it? I mean, he wants to see you and Cole at bedtime, too?" Kyra questioned as she giggled.

"It was totally unplanned. It just... came out," I replied.

"Yeah, I, I think he does. Well, I mean h-he's cool about it." I responded.

"Well, of course, he is. 'Cause he's cool. I mean, he would..." Willow stuttered. "...never... you know..."

"Push," I said as I knew what she meant.

"Right. He's not that type," Kate replied.

"Guys, what am I gonna do?" I questioned.

"What do you wanna do?" Buffy asked.

"I don't know. I-I mean..." I responded as we sat down on a bench. "... 'want' isn't always the right thing to do. To act on want again could be wrong."

"True," Kyra responded.

"But... to not act on want again... What if I never feel this way again?" I questioned.

"Carpe diem. You told me that once," Willow answered.

"'Fish of the day'?" Buffy questioned.

"Not carp," Willow returned as she smiled. "Carpe. It means 'seize the day."

"Right. I... I think we're going to. Seize it. Once you get to a certain point," I replied. "Then seizing is sort of inevitable."

"Wow," Willow, Kate, Kyra and Buffy responded.

"Yeah," I returned with a smile.

"Wow," They repeated as Willow stared at me.

"Hey, speaking of 'wow' potential, there's Oz over there. What are we thinking, any sparkage?" I questioned as I spotted Oz sitting on a bench with his guitar.

"He's nice," Willow said as she smiled. "Hey, I like his hands."

"Mm," Buffy responded. "A fixation on insignificant detail is a definite crush sign."

"Oh, I don't know, though," Willow told us. "I mean, he is a senior."

"You think he's too old 'cause he's a senior?" Kate responded as we stopped for a moment.

"My boyfriend had a bicentennial," I pointed out.

I wanted to add an 's' to boyfriend, but can't with too many ears around. Kate and Kyra's boyfriends are old as well as is Jeremy's girlfriend Rebekah.

"That's true," Willow said with an unsure voice. "Uh... I guess... I just..."

"You can't spend the rest of your life waiting for Xander to wake up and smell the hottie," Kyra replied.

"Make a move. Do the talking thing," Buffy added.

"Well, what if the talking thing becomes the awkward-silence thing?" Willow questioned.

"Well, you won't know until you try," Kyra responded.

We waited as Willow walked over to Oz before leaving to find the others.

Willow POV

I looked at the girls before walking over to Oz as he was playing his guitar.

"Hey," I said as I walked around the bench and sat down next to him.

"Hey," Oz replied as he looked up at me, giving me his full attention.

"Do you guys, uh, have a gig tonight?" I asked.

"Oh, no. Practice. See, our band's kinda moving towards this new sound where... we suck, so... practice," Oz explained.

"I think you guys sound good," I told him as I smiled at him.

"Thanks," Oz responded.

"I bet you have a lot of groupies," I replied.

"It happens," Oz stated as he nodded. "Now, I'm living groupie-free nowadays. I'm clean."

"Oh," I said as I smiled as it suddenly began feeling awkward.

"I'm gonna ask you to go out with me tomorrow night," Oz replied. "And I'm kinda nervous about asking, actually. It's interesting."

"Oh. Well, if it helps at all, I'm gonna say yes," Willow voiced.

"Yeah, it helps. It-it creates a comfort zone. Do you wanna go out with me tomorrow night?" Oz asked.

I smiled before remembering about the party tomorrow night.

"Oh! I can't!" I exclaimed as I cringed and slapped my hand against my forehead.

"Well, see, I like that you're unpredictable," Oz stated.

"Oh, it's just it's Buffy, Kate, Kyra, Jeremy and Aurora's Birthday, and we're throwing them a surprise party," I told him.

"It's okay," Oz reassured me.

"But you could come," I responded. "If you want to."

"Well, I don't wanna crash," Oz replied back.

"No, it's fine!" I exclaimed. "Well, you could be m...my date."

"All right," Oz said as he nodded. "I'm in."

Oz and I smiled back at each other before indicating that I needed to go. Oz nodded to me as I got up and walked away.

"I said 'date'," I whispered to myself as I walked away.

Third Person

Across campus at Cordelia's locker, Cordelia was opening her locker as Xander stood behind her.

"So... Kate, Kyra, Aurora, Buffy's party. Manana," Xander brought up.

"Well, just because their Misses and Mister Save-The-World and everything, you have to make a big deal?" Cordelia responded. "And everything."

"You're cooking?" Xander questioned.

"Well, I'm the chips and dips girl," Cordelia told him.

"Horrors!" Xander gasped. "All that opening and stirring."

"And the shopping and the carrying," Cordelia voiced.

"Well, then you should have a person who does such things for you," Xander responded.

"Well, that's what I've been saying to my father, but does he listen?" Cordelia returned.

"Um, so, uh... You're going, and, and, I'm going..." Xander stuttered. "Should... we maybe... go?"

"Why?" Cordelia asked.

"I dunno. This... thing with us, despite our better judgement, it keeps happening," Xander answered. "Maybe we should just admit that we're dating."

"Well, of course, you wanna tell everybody. You nothing to be ashamed of," Cordelia voiced. "I, on the other hand, have everything to be ashamed of."

"You know what? 'Nuff said. Forget it. It must've been my multiple-personality guy talking," Xander returned. "I call him Idiot Jed, glutton for punishment."

Xander looked at her before exhaling, turning away and walking off.

Xander walked through towards the lounge as Giles, Jenna and baby Brianna came out of the lounge.

"Oh, good morning," Giles said as they stopped Xander.

"Is everything ready for the party?" Jenna whispered to him.

"Absolutely. You read to get down, you funky party weasel?" Xander whispered back.

"Elijah will be here for this but his siblings will be here the next day," Cole told them as he, Andy, Jeremy and Leo came over.

"Here comes them now," Andy said as he pointed out the girls and Jenny.

"Now remember: discretion is the better part of valour," Giles muttered.

Back with the girls...

Aurora POV

We came down the stairs with Ms. Calendar to see the boys, Jenna and Giles.

"You could have just said, 'shh!' God, are all you Brits such dramas queens?" I heard Xander mutter.

"Girls, I feel a pre-birthday spanking coming on," Xander voiced.

"I'd curb that impulse if I were you, Xander," Ms. Calendar told him as we all sat down at a table in the lounge.

"Check, cancel spanking," Xander responded as he talked into his shirt.

"You alright, girls?" Giles asked as he sat down. "You seem a little fatigued."

"Rough Night," Buffy muttered.

"Same, I had a dream that Drusilla was alive and she killed Angel, snapped Elijah's neck and knocked Cole out," I responded. "I-it just really freaked me out."

"You fear it was more of a-a-a portent?" Giles stuttered.

"See, I don't know. I don't wanna start a big freakout over nothing," I replied.

"Still, best to be, uh, on the alert. If Drusilla is alive, i-i-it ould be fairly... cataclysmic state of affairs," Giles stuttered again.

"Again, so many words!" Xander exclaimed.

"Couldn't you just say, we'd be in trouble?" Jeremy questioned.

"Go to class, boys," Jenna said as she gave them a look.

"Gone," Xander voiced as he and Jeremy got up. "Notice the economy of phrasing: 'gone'. Simple. Direct." As he pointed at Giles and Jenna before leaving with Jeremy.

"Maybe we should get 'gone', too," Kate said as we stood up.

Cole grabbed my hand as Andy grabbed Kyra's and Leo grabbed Kate's.

"Uh, don't worry unduly, girls. I-I'm sure it's nothing," Giles stuttered.

"I know. We should keep our Slayer cool, but..." Buffy said.

"It's Angel, which automatically equals maxi-wig," I finished her sentence as I bent down and kissed Brianna goodbye.

"Hmm," Giles said before smiling at us and watching us leave for class.

Third Person

Across town in an old abandon warehouse, a vampire was carrying a large wooden box.

"I have your package," The vampire responded.

"Just put it on the table... near the other gifts," the very much alive vampire Spike replied.

The vampire walked past Spike to the table as Spike rolled into the view of the vampire in a wheelchair. Drusilla guided him.

"Are you dead set on this, pet? Wouldn't you rather have your party in Vienna?" Spike questioned.

"But the invitations are sent," Drusilla responded.

"Yeah, it's just I've had it with this place. Nothing ever comes off like it's supposed to," Spike complained.

"My gatherings are always perfect. Remember Spain?" Drusilla said as leaned in and placed her hands onto Spike's chest. "Hey... The bulls?" As she crouched next to him and walked her fingers up his arm.

"I remember, sweet," Spike replied. "But Sunnydale's cursed for us. Angel and the Slayers see to that."

"Shh..." Drusilla whispered into his ear. "I've got good games for everyone." As she licked his cheek before adding, "You'll see."

Drusilla got up and walked over to the table and inspected the roses and the other red flowers that were woven into the backs of the chairs.

"The flowers... are wrong," Drusilla said as she stepped to one of the chairs.

The decorators for the party started to look worried and what they heard.

"They're all... wrong!" Drusilla moaned as Spike started to get worried as well. "I can't abide them!" As screamed and ripped at them.

"Let's try something different with the flowers then," Spike suggested.

Drusilla looked over at him and calmed down a bit before eyeing the boxes that were on the table.

"Can I open one? Can I?" Drusilla questioned as she slowly walked around to them.

"Can I?" Drusilla asked as Spike smiled at her. "Oo..." As she smiled back.

"Just a peek, love," Spike stated as Drusilla excitedly reached for one of the latches that were on one of the boxes. "They're for the party."

Spike wheeled himself over to her as Drusilla lifted the lid and inhaled in wonder.

"Do you like it, baby?" Spike asked.

"It reeks of death," Drusilla answered as she sighed and smiled. "This will be the best party ever." As she knelt in front of Spike.

"Why is that?" Spike questioned.

"Because..." Drusilla said as she stood back up and leaned towards the box. "It will be the last." As she slammed the lid shut.

Time Skip

At the Slayer house...

Aurora POV

It was a new day and we were eating breakfast before we headed to school. Aunt Joyce was talking about our birthday. Brianna was in my arms being fed her morning bottle.

"Mall trip for your birthday on Saturday," Aunt Joyce said as she took her plate to the sink. "Don't forget."

"Space on a mom-sponsored shopping opportunity? Not likely," Buffy replied.

"Hmm. So, do, um 17, 16, and 18 feel any different than 16, 15 and 17?" Jenna questioned.

"It's funny you should ask that..." I started to say as I got Aunt Joyce's attention.

"You know, I woke up feeling more responsible, mature and level-headed," Buffy finished.

"It feels like a year older," Jeremy responded.

Kate, Kyra and I nodded in agreement.

"Really? Tch, it's uncanny," Aunt Joyce replied.

"I now possess the qualities one looks for in a... licensed driver," Buffy returned as she looked at Aunt Joyce.

"Buffy..." Aunt Joyce said.

"You told Buffy that you would talk about it again when she was 17," Kate responded.

"Do you really think you're ready, Buffy, Aurora?" Aunt Joyce asked.

The group expect Jenna gave Aunt Joyce a surprised look as Aunt Joyce dropped her plate. We watched as it fell and shattered on the floor.

My dream has come true. We need to tell Giles when we get to school.

Third Person

Across town at the high school, Ms. Jenny Calendar was walking to her desk with an arm full of papers as she set the mug down onto the desk and started going through the papers.

"Jenny Calendar," A man said from behind her.

Jenny Calendar was startled before turning around.

"You startled me," Ms. Jenny Calendar said.

"You look well," The man said as he stepped up to her desk.

"Yes, I'm fine," Jenny replied as she went around her desk. "I know I haven't written as much lately. I've been busy."

"I cannot imagine what is so important to make you ignore the responsibility to your people," The man stated.

"Well, I've been working and..." Jenny started to say.

"The elder woman has been reading signs," The man interrupted. "Something is different."

"Nothing has changed," Jenny responded. "The curse still holds."

"The elder woman is never wrong. She says his pain is lessening," The man stated. "She can feel it."

"There is a..." Jenny started to say as she looked down.

"There is a what?" the man questioned.

"A girl," Jenny answered as she looked up.

"What?" The man voiced in disgust. "How could you let this happen?"

"I promise you. Angel still suffers. And he makes amends for his evil," Jenny reassured him. "He even saved my life."

"So you just forget that he destroyed the most beloved daughter of your tribute?! That he killed every man, woman and child that touched her life?!" The man said in anger. "Vengeance demands that his pain be eternal as our is! If this girl gives him one minute of happiness, it is one minute too much!"

"I'm sorry. I thought..." Jenny started to say.

"You thought what?! You thought you are Jenny Calendar now?!" The man interrupted. "You are still Janna, of the Kalderash people! A Gypsy."

"I know... Uncle," Jenny responded. "I know."

"Then prove it. Your time for watching has passed. The girl and him, it ends now!" The man, Jenny's uncle stated. "Do what you must to take her from him!"

"I will see to it," Jenny whispered as she looked down.

All she could think about is trying to separate four soulmates from each other is going to be hard to do. One is a Charmed One/Slayer, one is half-demon/half-human, one of the first vampires its kind, and the other is the vampire who once tormented her tribe.
