Jigen stayed for an hour and they talked about various subjects over the meal. Naruto learnt a great deal about this new character and his thought process.
Jigen was an intellectual and perfectionist. There was respect for talent and the advancement of technology.
He was someone that took care of his looks and didn't accept griminess. From the way he talked to the way he ate, it was clear that Jigen was from a higher upbringing.
Naruto liked him a lot and he made a strong impression in just an hour but there was a feeling, no, a fact.
Jigen didn't seem to be connected to the people in reality. He did what was right because it was right and not because he cared in his heart.
Naruto was always aware of the emotions and he understood that Jigen was similar to Shino, a logic driven being.
Learning such a thing didn't make him look down on Jigen at all but gave him more reason to respect him.
"You have done well. There are only good reports about your work." Naruto stood beside a pond with beautiful fishes moving around and fed the fishes some treats.
Jigen had left and the duo was left behind.
"I am only doing what is needed, nothing special." Kiki was always happy to hear praise from his father figure and worked hard to make him proud.
In life his blood father had given up on him and from the looks of it, never planned to make him a Daimyo as immortality was a possible solution.
He was aimless in this vast world and Naruto showed him a path to greatness.
He could have become a Hunter and Scout but Naruto needed successors, if everyone became a fighter who will lead the people.
Thinking of that question was one Kiki's reason to become a leader.
There will be a time when Naruto would have to go into the front lines, and he needed competent people to follow through on the other things in their territory.
Naruto smiled as he extended his arm and hugged Kiki, "You have done more than your job entails and I am happy to hear that. But…I have heard nothing about a partner till now. Kiki, do you want to talk about it?"
Kiki wanted to groan as he heard those words.
"My mind was occupied with work and I have not met anyone that took my attention." Kiki answered honestly, he knew that Naruto wanted him to experience the joys of life completely since he might lose the chance later.
He didn't mind but he didn't like it either. He didn't feel interest in having a girlfriend or wife. He was fine with his family and friends.
"What about Elsa from the Land of frost?"
Hearing those words, a beautiful woman with blonde hair came to mind. She was a friend and colleague. She was the Queen of the Land of Frost, a neighbor to Land of Water.
"Master, I respectfully decline such a suggestion."
"Haha, I was just playing with you. Do what you enjoy as I trust your choices." Naruto chuckled as he let go of Kiki.
Kiki smiled seeing that Naruto was without any pressure. Naruto was the pillar that held up every one so he never wanted to see his Father sad and dull.
It was selfish but Kiki wished that his father would always shine.
"Father, what is your assessment?"
Naruto was happy that Kiki didn't just go with the flow and think everything was over, nothing was simple in life.
"I like him but he is special. He doesn't truly feel anything for the people, he was emulating those emotions. He is very similar to Shino and Sai, logic driven.
Keep watch over him so he doesn't stray." Naruto replied and highlighted Jigen's name on his list, so that the intelligence agency got more information on his background.
Life of a leader wasn't simple and he couldn't just interact with people without knowing them inside out.
"Understood…and can I come home for dinner."
"You are always welcome and the boys have been missing you."
"Not enough to visit my city, I guess."
Naruto laughed and slapped his back, "One week wasn't enough, maybe try a year and see."
"Absolutely not! I am not interested in such an experiment." Those were his genuine feelings. He was part of the Uzumaki family in a way and lived there. His blood relatives weren't that close to him and he had no other family.
While Naruto was talking to Jigen, Boruto bumped into Namida after leaving the lab. He was planning to do some check up on his equipment before the family gathering and the date with Juri.
But it seems Namida had something to say. Just like usual she had the default twin tails for her hair and this time she had changed the natural brown color to light orange. Unlike before she was not wearing sneakers and wore shinobi heels.
She wore a dress that came to her knees, the upper section white and the lower section was red. Namida wasn't someone he knew too much about but she was a silent girl with passion for music.
She wasn't very outgoing but worked towards it.
Somehow she looked very outgoing now as he didn't feel the hesitation in her speech when she asked him for a moment.
Boruto thought she came to him for his mothers, Hinata and Yodo.
They walked a distance silently and stopped inside the park nearby where there weren't many people at the moment.
Namida stopped with her back to him and she felt her desire leaking out. She had taken the drink given by Shuten and it was very effective.
She didn't have the courage to do it without outside influence. She wasn't very close to him and he was so special that all the girls were after him.
Sumire and Juri were better than her in all ways.
But, she loved Boruto. Boruto might not think it special, but he had been the one to give her the encouragement to follow her dreams.
In the starting years, she had been struggling and Boruto had helped her out before she got to know the girls.
He had helped her out in group battles and even helped her meet Yodo and Hinata personally.
These were all small things to him but to Namida, it was a great boon as she didn't come from a powerful clan that could meet such high class people casually for no reason.
There was also part hero worship from Naruto. Boruto had very similar looks to him in a way unlike his other siblings.
There was the fact that Boruto was smart, good looking and powerful. He was kind and very friendly.
Opening her closed eyes, Namida turned around to face Boruto.
She stood lower than him by few centimeters but with heels their height was the same.
Now Boruto would have to be dumb not to understand what was coming, he got the jist once they stood in silent for the few seconds.
'Can I complain about this?' Boruto wondered if he could complain about drowning in love.
"Boruto, I like you. Will you consider going out with me?" Namida asked as she looked at him with dark brown eyes that were filled with determination.
"How serious are you about this?" Boruto ending asking since he knew the others were serious and it won't do well for Namida to follow through if she wasn't into it.
Boruto thought of Namida as a friend but they weren't so close. Regardless, she was a good girl and had good potential. She was a hardworking girl, and he could appreciate the effort more now that he was aware that not everyone was so blessed.
Not to forget that she was also very charming, with those long legs and large assets that were only lower than Chocho in the group.
If she didn't go for Boruto, it wouldn't be difficult to hook up with anyone else on a similar standing to her.
Namida didn't like that he questioned her resolve but she remained steadfast.
"I am sure. I like you enough to become the second girlfriend." Nami replied as she stared into his eyes that he was taken aback by the answer.
'Wow, wow, wow.' Boruto thought he would never hear such a thing from any of these girls and he was proven wrong.
It was unfortunate that he wasn't emotionally connected to anyone so he was unable to truly understand their love.
Boruto looked down and back to Nami before putting his arms on her shoulders, "Honestly, I am honored by your confession. You are a beautiful girl and a good friend. But, right now I don't have such strong feelings for anyone."
Nami expected such an answer as it had happened twice now, Sumire and Juri.
"I want that same as Juri and Sumire." Nami didn't back down and rejected his rejection.
Looking into those eyes, Boruto was unable to deny her request. Truly he was a sinful man, leading on these beautiful girls knowing that the pain would be stronger at the end.
But he liked each of them in a way, not in a romantic way.
'I thought this love thing was going to be easy. Why is it so hard? Damn, Shun made it look so simple.'
Boruto agreed and had a small talk with Nami in the park while walking, holding hands. It was the first time for Boruto to focus on Nami, since he never really got into such a situation before.
Night pulled over like usual and most of the people in the Uzumaki Household were ready for a fight. Just like Shuten, Boruto had also decided to take part in this battle.
His eye helped against Otsutsuki so he wagered it could help with this threat. Sitting inside his room, Boruto had gathered Asura and Sumire.
Sumire was there because she also had a gift from Ishiki, Nue, and Asura was there because he was powerful.
"Boruto, are you sure about this? If we manage to actually get to the enemy then we will be in great danger." Sumire had yet to agree with his proposal. Just because she liked him, didn't mean a yes to everything.
She had zero confidence in their ability to get through it.
"Boruto, explain things thoroughly to people from the outside." Asura said calmly as he held his book and continued to give shape to his story.
He agreed with Boruto's plan. He had no problem in putting his life on the line if it meant helping the family.
Sumire turned to Asura and back to Boruto with a curious glance.
"It is dangerous but we will get through it. All of us are connected to my father, more than anyone in the world so if we get into the enemy territory then he will get there." Boruto explained his reasoning and even though there were arguments against his view, Boruto believed in his parents.
Sumire looked at him and nodded, she trusted Boruto and she trusted Naruto. Nue floated her body before resting in her hands and fusing with her head.
In these two days, she had been experimenting under supervision and learned to how to fuse with Nue. At the moment Nue needed to grow back some of his power but he still gave Sumire a large boost in power.
With Nue fusing with her partially, her head changed form and looked like it belonged on a dark queen.
Her skin tone turned gray and her eyes just shone red while a leather mask covered most of her head, leaving her mouth and lower section open.
Nue was connected to her shoulder and looked like an ominous wraith. The aura given by Sumire was dark and Asura could feel that her personality had taken a sadistic turn.
The fusion was clearly a mix of both individuals and it strengthened Sumire's qualities that she hid well.
"Not bad, I can see why father sees potential in you." Asura muttered as his Rinnegan eyes glanced over Sumire casually while he sat like he owned the room.
Sumire's blood red eyes turned to Asura and she gave a small smile. She took his words positively since Asura didn't waste words on people.
Boruto felt his eye twitch in response to Sumire's transformation but it didn't awaken.
"Okay, let's go to sleep now." Boruto had nothing else he could do, other than wait.
"I will keep my aura on and we can only hope that this plan works." Asura nodded as he closed the book and it turned into tiny fireflies that spread into the room, covering it up in his presence.
Night covered up the Land of Fire and Fred the Dream eater was once again attacking the defenseless populace.
He was unaware of Naruto's plans as Delta was just watching from the sidelines and not interfering at the moment.
There was also the fact that they knew that the ninja world had zero knowledge on the dream world or other dimensions that were vague and without definite shape.
In the vast dream world that was bigger than the real universe, Fred was not the only predator but he was the only predator in the region.
Dream eaters were weak demons in the world of the Immortals that Jashin had researched before his fall and with the help of Ishiki, he brought them to a new level.
Fred was the accumulation of thousands of dream eaters and after a long dieting session, he had become bigger in a single day's feast.
He had always been careful and could never eat so freely, but now Jashin had commanded him to wreck havoc.
Fred's body dwarfed mountain ranges and his power was only growing. He had only fed on some weaklings but around a million of those weaklings.
Last time he had attacked far from Konoha and his cautious nature would demand that to continue but his lord Jashin wished for him to test their enemy, give him some distress.
"Attack his people and let me enjoy his pain, my lord so proclaimed and he has proclaimed so well." Fred muttered delightfully as he looked towards the region that represented the Land of Fire.
Like the veil of darkness in the night, Fred travelled to his destination while his body continued to corrupt the dream world of everything in his way.
He grew strong throughout the journey and caused mass distress in the real world that would have caused deaths in the millions, if not for the defense system.
Fred smiled while feeling so naughty as he fed upon the populace of the strongest place in the world. It gave him confidence and it fed his arrogance as he turned his eyes to Konoha, the Jewel protected by the King.
His large hands extended towards the delicious pie and Fred sighed in comfort at the appetizing aroma. The glittering sight and the beauty seduced him so that he was unable to resist the temptation, and he become so naughty.
Just like every other place, Fred was no stopped by the defense system and Naruto didn't even pick up his presence since his senses didn't extend to the dream world.
He was asleep and trying to use his reality warping abilities to gain access to the dream world but it had been unsuccessful.
Fred loved it and enjoyed it so, and his sight landed on a delicious meal.
"What is this, what is this? Do my eyes fool me so, or is that a reincarnator?" Fred smiled widely with his shadow like body taking the humanoid shape but still made out of shadows with red eyes all over.
His feelers extended towards the target and he was delighted as he had a gift for his lord. Reincarnator was someone who had the ability to be reborn after getting killed. This process allowed a new life and even a chance to grow stronger than the previous life.
Seeing the suppressed memories that were like nightmares and beautiful dreams, Fred could see that it contained even more treats that expected.
The target of his pleasure was Rias and Fred could see that she had gotten a large boost from her previous life in this world, becoming the sister of Naruto Uzumaki.
This arrogant attack on the Uzumaki household activated Boruto's eyes especially with the help of Asura and Sumire.
All three of them were dragged into the dream world and they were not alone as Shuten's eyes shone brighter than ever, breaking the barrier and entering the new world.
In the real world, Rias was unable to wake up and screamed in horror as Fred played with her dream world.
Her screams awoke everyone in the house except the ones in the dream world.
"Naruto, what is wrong with my baby girl?" Kushina asked as she entered the room to see Naruto holding Rias in his arms.
Naruto was looking calm but he was in reality very unhappy at this occurrence. He felt anger and his killer instinct almost leaked out but got suppressed, it wasn't something he wanted people to feel unless they were the enemy.
"Everything will be fine, let me take care of it." Naruto replied as a clone appeared behind Kushina and held her hand to give her a peace of mind.
Sasuke and Ino appeared in the room, and got to work without a word. Naruto supported them with his ability and gave them the push to get into the dream world using his connection to Rias.

Kiki Aries is from Saint Seiya.
It can be anything. Weapon, armor, one time item, support item, large weaponry.
Just give the name of the item and the name of the series along with one specialty of the object that is attractive.
While I was not writing, I ended up thinking of seven or so arcs for the Shaman King story and I wasn't even planning to think about it.
Otsutsuki eat planets with intelligent life for the taste and the powers. They gain the abilities and skills of the people that die on the planet before the harvest of the fruit. The taste thing is non-canon while the other reason is canon. It makes sense why Momoshiki and Kinshiki knew how to use martial arts when he said hard work is for lower beings and implied never needing to work for anything.
Ishiki's stealth ability is canon from the Boruto Manga but it is more pronounced in this story and has a bigger role.
In the manga the ability saved him from Naruto's extra senses. That's a good ability but Naruto should have been able to use the wind, light and earth to sense someone. He has sage mode, how has he not done anything with it?
I will never understand author's insistence on keeping characters simple. Adult Naruto is barely different from Teen Naruto, as he hasn't learned anything new in 17 years. Think about that for a second.
