#7
Title Card: A Tattler's Tale
The Loud siblings (except Lily) sweated nervously, paled, and stared at the title.
'Oh no, please don't be about what I think it is…' they all thought in unison.
"What's with them?" asked Bobby.
"No idea." shrugged Carol.
[Episode begins at night with the Loud siblings in Lori and Leni's bedroom. Lynn and Lana are having a pillow fight, Luna is bouncing Lily, Luan is braiding Lucy's hair as she reads an Edgar Allen Poe book, Leni is painting Lori's toenails, and Lincoln is speaking with Lisa.]
"What's going on here?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"Sibling slumber party?" asked Sid.
"Not really." Lori replied nervously.
"Maybe it's a secrets club!" suggested CJ.
There wasn't a response from any of the Loud siblings.
"Oh my gosh it is." said Carlota.
Lincoln: "So then, bam! My remote control plane smashed right into Dad's disco ball, and it broke into a million pieces!"
Lynn: [gasps] "Oh no!" [ducks as Lana whacks Leni with a pillow, knocking her off the bed.] "The one he got from winning the Royal Woods "Dance Your Pants Off" contest?! He's so proud of that thing!"
Lincoln: "I know. If he ever finds out, I'll be as dead as disco!"
"Wait, Lincoln did that?!" Rita asked in surprised.
She and Lynn Sr. looked at their son.
"Sorry Dad." Lincoln said in guilt.
"I'd be more mad but now that I think about it I only got that because everyone found my bad dancing funny." Lynn Sr, admitted, pating Lincoln on the head.
Lori: "Don't worry, you're not the only one hiding something from Dad."
Luna, Lisa, Lynn, Lana and Lily: "Oooooooooh!"
Lori: "I accidentally scratched the car with my rhinestone purse!"
[Flashback. Lori is seen driving up to a parking space, and turns the car off. When she opens the door, she accidentally dents the car next to her. Realizing this, she tries to inch herself away, unknowingly leaving jagged scratches on the side of the van with her purse. End flashback.]
"Oh that does not look good." cringed Becky.
Lori winced under her father's angry glare. "Sorry about scratching the car dad." she apologized.
"Oh please that thing has so many scratches and dents we didn't even notice." said Rita, giving Lynn Sr. a look.
Lynn Sr. muttered indignantly, but agreed.
Luna: "You think that's bad? Remember the blackout last week?"
[Flashback. Luna sets the volume on her speakers to "Super Max" and strums her guitar once, causing a citywide blackout. End flashback.]
"LUNA!" exclaimed Rita and Lynn Sr.
"So you caused that back out?" Sam asked.
Luna chuckled sheepishly.
Albert couldn't help but laugh. "That makes three kids in the house that caused a black out." he chortled.
The kids laughed.
Lucy: "I rather enjoy the darkness. Speaking of which, does anyone know how to get black paint out of lace? I painted Mom's wedding dress for my dark betrothal to Edwin."
[Flashback. Lucy is seen descending the basement stairs wearing Mom's wedding dress, completely repainted in black. In the basement are a bunch of disfigured dolls looking towards Edwin, Lucy's vampire bust. End flashback.]
Everyone cringed at what Lucy did. Even the Mortician's Club looked a little perturbed.
"LUCY! THAT WAS MY WEDDING DRESS!" exclaimed Rita.
Lucy cringed in guilt. "Sigh. Sorry Mom." she said.
"You could've just asked me to make a dress for you." Leni pointed out.
Lucy facepalmed. "Groan…" she sighed.
Albert gave his daughter a look. "What about the time you painted your mom's wedding dress?" he asked.
Rita froze.
Albert then pulled out his wallet and showed a picture to everyone. There it showed 8-year-old Rita wearing her mother's wedding dress painted sky blue.
"AWW!" everyone gushed while Rita blushed.
Lincoln: [to the viewers] "What can I say? We're not angels. Sometimes, we mess up. But the great thing is, if you need to get something off your chest, you can always trust your siblings."
"Ain't that the truth." said Ronnie Anne.
Everyone who was part of the Secret Siblings club, which was now made utterly pointless by this revelation of secrets... well, to say that all of them felt violated was an understatement. And even though they understood their reasons, Lynn Sr. and Rota still weren't happy that the kids lied to them.
Lincoln said, directed at Joe, "Thanks a lot. Thanks for airing out our dirty laundry to everybody. That was personal info, and honestly, I was hoping you'd have more respect than that and either skip or censor that part, but I guess you don't know what respect for privacy is." He said, his voice full of contempt. His sisters who were in that club had very similar complaints.
"I'd keep your complaints quiet if I were you." said Clyde.
"Why's that?" asked Luan. "Is Joe here now?"
"Yes." said Joe.
Everyone yelped in alarm. Joe was actually sitting amongst them as if no one noticed.
"So that's what it feels like after a while." muttered Lucy.
"Where did you come from?!" exclaimed Lynn.
"The mists of time." Joe replied with a smirk.
"Very funny." deadpanned Lisa. (1)
"Look, sorry about having your secrets club revealed, but that was what was in the episode and I can't change that." said Joe.
"Well now Mom and Dad are gonna tear us new ones for lying to them." Luna muttered.
"Oh I wouldn't say that." Joe smirked.
Everyone stared at him, confused. Then, Joe snapped his fingers. And then, everyone but the 11 Loud kids were frozen in place.
"What did you do to them?!" exclaimed Lori.
"Nothing, just froze them in place. They're fine." Joe replied. He gestured for them to come hear him. Confused, the 11 obliged. "Besides, aside from what's revealed here, they won't know all of your secrets from the club. There are still those you told one another prior to this episode and after they won't know anything about."
Upon hearing that, the Loud kids grinned in relief… which briefly turned into Grinch-like smiles.
"Huh, so I guess some stuff will be kept quiet after all." said Lana.
"Yah, thanks Joe." smiled Lincoln.
Joe nodded. "Well, I'm off. As soon as I leave, everyone else will be unfrozen." he said.
With that, Joe held up his hand and the bifrost took him away. As soon as he was gone, everyone else unfroze.
"What just happened?" asked Chaz.
"Where's Joe?" asked Dana.
"He had to leave!" Lola said quickly.
"Anyways, back to the show!" added Lana.
Despite the circumstances, everyone obliged.
[A knock at the door is heard]
Lincoln: "Well, not all of them."
[Lincoln walks up to the door and opens it, revealing to be Lola. She enters the room.]
"Speaking of not being an angel." said Ronnie Anne.
She and Carl laughed as Lola growled.
Lola: "Whatcha guys talkin' about?"
Lisa: "Quantum physics!"
Lynn: "Monster trucks!"
Lori: "Bobby!"
Leni: "Politics!"
Lynn: "Baseball!"
Luan: "Jokes!"
Lana: "Global warming!"
"Guess subtlety isn't good in any of the Loud siblings." said Zach.
"Unless you're a spy, I think it applies to everyone." said Sameer.
Lola: "You're telling secrets again, aren't you? It's not fair! I never get included!"
Lincoln: "That's because you're a tattle-tale, Lola."
"That explains why Lola wasn't there." murmured Liam.
Lola: [scoffs] "I am NOT!" [Lincoln and the others look at her with disbelief while a cricket chirps.] "Okay, I'll admit I used to be a tattle-tale, but I've changed!"
"Seeing is believing Lola." said Rocky.
"Oh whatever." Lola scoffed.
[Everybody still doesn't believe her as they murmur to each other. Lola growls loudly, tosses her tiara aside in fury, and screams at the top of her lungs.]
Lola: "MOM! THEY WON'T LET ME IN THEIR SECRET SECRETS CLUB!"
"You're really selling it that you've changed." deadpanned Ronnie Anne.
"Did you even question what the secret secrets club was?" Principal Huggins asked.
"I thought it was just pretend." Rita said sheepishly.
[As Lola storms out of the room, Lincoln quickly shuts the door. Lisa checks her list of secrets.]
Lisa: "Mmm. So where were we?"
Lincoln: "I broke Dad's disco ball, Luna caused the blackout, Lori scratched the car, and Lucy ruined Mom's wedding dress. Who's next?"
Lana: [raising her hand] "Ooh! Ooh! So you know how Dad was yelling at Charles for chewing up his boots?" [giggles] "That was me!"
[The siblings begin laughing.]
Luan: [with realization] "Wait a second. Weren't those steel toe?"
"Lana, those were 50 dollars!" Lynn Sr. exclaimed angrily.
Chalred barked, angry as well for being blamed for the incident.
Lana cringed. "Sorry Dad. Sorry Charles." she said in shame.
Lola, meanwhile, felt really left out. Was she so much of a snitch that they didn't trust her a year ago? She asked them, "So wait, this is why you guys always acted weird when you were in a room together without me?"
Lana said, "Well, duh! Not only that, but if we invited you into our secret club, you'd have more than enough blackmail to make us your slaves!"
Lola said, hurt, "Well, gee, thanks. Nice to know that none of you trust me." and sauntered off to a different corner of the room to sulk, feeling insulted.
Lincoln snapped back, "Oh, please! Spare us the pity party, Lola. If you heard this stuff back then, are you honestly saying you wouldn't hold it over our heads when the opportunity presented itself?"
Lola denied, angrily "No, but I guess we'll never find out whether or not I would, won't we? Nice to know that my own family doesn't trust me." She turned her back to them, refusing to look at any of them. "Blackmail is one thing, but personal secrets are another to me."
Obviously, none of her siblings were buying it considering the large quantities of snitching she had done over the years.
Lincoln said, "Okay, then I challenge you this: name one personal secret that you've kept that we've told you. Name just one, without any use of blackmail and if we didn't do what you said, you'd tell." Lola couldn't name one. "Yeah, I didn't think so. That's why we didn't trust you back then, so I really don't know why you're taking it so personally when you always snitched on us."
Lola then said, guilt consuming her, "ALRIGHT, FINE! I'm sorry for all the times I held things over your heads! I'm sorry for being a blackmailer! But, it still really hurts that you all left me out and didn't even give me a chance. I'm beginning to question as to whether or not you guys love me at all..."
"Now that's a load!" exclaimed Lynn as she placed her hands on Lola's shoulder. "Lola, we do love you."
"But giving your past tattling on every single one of us, it was hard to trust you in our secrets club." said Luan.
"Yeah, you had to earn it." said Lincoln.
"As much as I'm not fond of what the kids have been keeping from us, they do have a point honey." admitted Lynn Sr.
Lola sighed. "I guess…" she said as Lana patted her back.
[The next day. Lincoln wakes up and sees Lola looking at him with a wide smile. Lincoln yells in shock.]
Everyone screamed.
"How did you even get in there while he was sleeping?" asked Nikki.
"I bet Lucy gave her lessons." said Rusty.
"Or perhaps it was the work of… FAIRY GOD PARENTS!" exclaimed Carlos, doing random movements in the air. (2)
Everyone stared at him in confusion and bewilderment.
"What just happened?" asked Laird.
Lola: "Morning, Linky!" [pulls out a fancy suit] "I need a butler for my tea party. You're it."
Lincoln: "Yeah. That's not happening." [he puts his bedsheets back on.]
Lola: "Oh, really?" [she swipes the bedsheets off of Lincoln. He looks up.]
"Eww!" all the girls Lincoln's age exclaimed while Ronnie Anne blushed and Sid giggled.
Lola: "I hate for Dad to find out who broke his precious disco ball!"
Lincoln: [gasps loudly, realizing that Lola knows his secret.] "Who told you about that?!"
"You're blackmailing him?!" exclaimed Sam.
"Lola…!" Rita and Lynn Sr. said in a warning tone.
Lola looked away in shame.
[Lola shrugs her shoulders, pretending not to know. Lincoln is seen wearing the suit Lola provided.]
"Ugh, Not again." Lincoln groaned.
"Actually, you look good in that suit." said Stella.
"Yeah, and that hair style's pretty nice." added Girl Jordan.
"You look very sophisticated." added Carol.
"Yeah, you look slick, Linc." said Ronnie Anne.
"Uh… thanks." smiled Lincoln.
Lola: "Top me off, Linkington." [Lincoln tips the teacup over.] "I don't hear any tea!"
[Lincoln sighs, and tips the teacup over while making a whooshing sound to make it sound like tea is pouring out.]
"Ugh, it reminds me of the time a certain macaw blackmailed us into getting stuff due to a Tamale Food Truck..." Ronnie Anne said bitterly.
Sergio laughed sheepishly at that.
[Backyard. Lucy is writing in her poem book, and Lola approaches her with her princess car.]
Lola: "Hey, Luce. Want to play "Drive me around while I practice my pageant wave"?"
Lucy: "Hard pass."
Lola: "Okay." [drives around for a little bit.] "Maybe I'll go play "Dress Up" with Mom's wedding gown instead." [Lucy looks up with realization as a crow caws. Lola gasps.] "Oh, wait. I can't, because someone ruined it."
"Lola!" snapped Rita and Lynn Sr.
"And you've said you've changed." scoffed Margo.
Lola looked down in shame.
Lucy: [gasps loudly, realizing she knows about her secret.] "Who told you that?" [Lola shrugs her shoulders, pretending not to know. She moves into the passenger seat as Lucy sits down on the driver's seat. Lola motions Lucy to start driving.] "Sigh."
[Lucy dons a chauffeur's cap, and begins driving as Lola begins waving.]
"That would explain a lot." said Haiku.
"You saw that?" asked Clyde.
"Lucy explained to us the next day." said Boris.
[Living room. Lori is texting on her phone, Luna is watching TV, and Lynn Sr. is reading a newspaper. Lola enters.]
Lola: "Luna, can I have the middle?"
Luna: "Sorry, little dudette. I snagged it first."
"Well she did have it first." shrugged Carl.
Lola: "Oh, okay. I hope your show doesn't, you know, like, end suddenly. I hear there have been a lot of blackouts lately."
[Lola turns back at Luna with a wicked grin.]
Luna: [realizing Lola knows her secret.] "Who told-"
[Luna stops talking, realizing that her father is right next to her. Luna reluctantly places Lola on the couch as she angrily sits down on the floor.]
"You could've just sat on her lap." Skippy pointed out.
"But I like the couch cushions!" exclaimed Lola.
"But blackmailing her to get it?" David said disapprovingly.
Lola looked away.
Lola: "Lori, can I have head scratchies?"
Lori: "No. I need both hands for texting."
Lola: "Oh, I just thought you wouldn't mind since you've been scratching a lot of things lately." [Lori gasps, realizing Lola knows about her secret. She begrudgingly begins to scratch Lola's head.] "Two hands, please." [Lori looks on with disdain.]
"Lola Loud…" Lynn Sr. said warningly making Lola cringe in guilt.
"And how did you not notice that?" Albert asked with a raised eyebrow.
Lynn Sr. froze and rubbed the back of his head. "Uh… I was interested in the sports column?" he said nervously.
"Heh, nice awareness Loud!" said Mr. Grouse.
[Lana and Lola's room. By now, Lola has forced all of her siblings into doing menial tasks for her. Luna is dressed as a bard playing a mandolin, Lynn is dressed as a maid painting Lola's toenails, Lana is dressed fancy like Lola, and Lincoln is back to being Lola's waiter.]
Everyone stared.
"What…" began Bobby.
"The…" continued Sam.
"Heck?!" finished Benny.
"Wow, you all look ridiculous!" chortled Mr. Grouse.
"I'll say!" laughed Carl.
The Louds, barring Lola and Lily, groaned in embarrassment.
Luna: [playing the mandolin, irate] " With a moo moo here, and a moo moo there- "
Lola: [correcting Luna] "Uh... I believe I said he had a pig."
Luna: [through clenched teeth, more irate] " With an oink oink here, and an oink oink there... "
Lola: "How's my homework coming, Lis?"
Lisa: [pulling up a sheet of paper that has the letters of the alphabet made up of different shaped pasta noodles.] "I'm up to the letter "S"."
"Lola…" Rita said warningly.
Lola: "Hmm. Make the macaroni a little crooked. I don't want my teacher getting suspicious." [chuckles. Claps twice] "Jester! How about a joke?"
Luan: [dressed as a jester, unenthusiastically] "Why do chicken coups only have two doors? 'Cause if they had four, they'd be chicken sedans. Ha ha ha ha ha. Get it?"
"I'm surprised you aren't laughing at your joke." said Benny.
"Not when I'm forced to do it through blackmail." Luan muttered.
Lola: "Yes!" [laughs] "Isn't this fun, everyone?"
[As Lola laughs at the fun she's having, her siblings all grumble in frustration, knowing they're not having fun.]
"You truly are the devil in flesh." deadpanned Persephone.
Every sibling Lola blackmailed glared at her, and Rita and Lynn Sr. looked utterly appalled and disgusted. The others just glared while Lola chuckled awkwardly.
Winston could do nothing but shake his head in disapproval, "Lola... as much as I adore you with all my heart, I'm afraid that this is low, even for you. All because you can't handle a little honesty, you get upset and coerce your siblings into doing things for you like slaves? Do you not have any shame? That is not something a proper princess would do. I... I need a moment away from you, I'm afraid."
Lola tried to protest as Winston just got up and moved next to Skippy, too disappointed in his girlfriend to look at her.
Lola looked down sadly, knowing that she brought this upon herself.
[Lori and Leni's room. The kids are having another meeting.]
Lori: "Well, I think we all know why we're here. Lola knows our secrets, and she's literally torturing us!"
Lynn: [suspiciously] "Clearly, we've got a rat!"
Leni: [thinking Lynn is referring to a real rat, horrified.] "EW! WHERE?!"
Lisa: [to Leni] "No, Leni. A "rat" is an informal term for a "snitch"." [to everyone else] "So which one of you low-lifes is it?"
[All the siblings begin to fight, blaming each one of them for being the rat.]
"Oh for crying out loud." groaned Carol.
"Aye." groaned Rosa.
[During their squabble, Lincoln flies out, and lands on something that pierces his butt.]
Lincoln: "Yowch!" [he pulls off the item from his butt, revealing to be Lola's tiara.] "What the?" [as he examines the tiara, he notices a microphone attached to it. He realizes something.] "GUYS, STOP!" [the siblings cease their fighting] "I know who the rat is, and her name rhymes with "granola"."
Leni: [pulls up Lisa] "Lisa?"
Everyone facepalmed.
Lincoln: [facepalms] "No, it's Lola! She put a microphone in her tiara, and eavesdropped on our meeting!"
[Flashback to yesterday. Lola growls loudly and tosses her tiara aside in fury.]
Lola: "MOM! THEY WON'T LET ME IN THEIR SECRET SECRETS CLUB!"
[As Lola was yelling at her Mom, her tiara landed on the floor. The camera zooms in on the tiara, revealing the microphone. End flashback.]
"So that's how she knew!" exclaimed Bobby.
"Blackmailing and spying?!" Rita snapped.
Lola hid her face in shame.
Lori: "Well, now we know who the rat is. But what do we do about it?"
Lana: "Yeah, she still has all our secrets!"
Lincoln: [theorizing] "But what if we had one of hers?"
Lynn: "Fat chance. Lola's a pro. She covers her tracks."
Lincoln: [determined] "Everyone makes mistakes, even Lola!"
"You can say that again." said Joey.
"Indeed, no one's perfect." said Frida.
[The next morning. Lisa is sorting cereal bits for Lola, the pink marshmallows in a bowl marked "YES" while the regular bits go in another bowl marked "YUCK".]
Lisa: "Just 10 more minutes, and I'll have all your cereals separated for you, Lola."
Lola: "Oh, good job, Lisa. Don't let any of that icky bran mix with those yummy marshmallows." [Looks up at Luna playing a double bass.] "Uh, smooth jazz, Luna?" [chuckles] "Nice try. How 'bout a little adult contemporary instead?"
Luna: [acting] "Sure! Anything for you, sis!"
[She plays a different line; Lynn is now painting Lola's toes.]
Lynn: "Almost done with the second coat! Then onto the third!"
"Wow, your acting's improved." said Hector, impressed.
[While Lola closes her eyes, Lynn gives Lincoln the signal. He sneaks into Lana and Lola's room and searches every nook and cranny until he finds a secret note under Lola's mattress.]
Lincoln: "Aha!" [grabs the note] "If you're reading this, you must be snooping. Get out of my room...or else. Signed, Lola."
"Or else what, you release bees on them?" scoffed Mollie.
[He disregards the warning and crumples up the note and finds another note in the wastebasket.]
Lincoln: [reading it] "I said GET OUT OF MY ROOM! Signed, Lola." [growling] "Err!"
"Wow, she prepared well for this." remarked Dante.
Lincoln: [sees something on her nightstand] "Lola's diary!" [opens up a page] "Today, I broke Mom's most prized possession." [smiles thinking she's got her] "Just kidding. Only a MORON would write secrets in a diary. NOW GET OUT OF MY ROOM! Signed, Lola." [closes diary] "Man, she's good! [grabs Lola's tiara] What is your secret, Lola Loud?"
"How dare you read my diary!" Lola snapped.
"Please, you read ours all the time." scoffed Leni.
That made Lola shut up.
Lynn: [from downstairs, feigning concern] "Lola, come back! Don't you want me to put more of that pink crud on your toenails?!"
"Uh oh." said Lily.
[Lincoln gasps knowing Lola is coming and hides the bugged tiara in his cap. Lola comes up to her room and gasps in shock.]
Lola: [angry] "BUSTED!" [She's actually scolding her teddy bear.] "I said, no sweets before dinner, Mr. Sprinkles!"
"For a second, I thought he was busted." said Morpheus.
"Bad Mistew Spwinkles!" said Lily.
"Aww!" everyone gushed.
Lola: [shivers] "Brr! It's cold in here."
[She sees her window open while Lincoln is holding on by the sill and closes it on his fingers. Lincoln falls and screams and lands on a cactus.]
Lincoln: "YOWCH!" [groans]
"Ooh!" everyone grimaced.
Lola: "Where the heck did this cactus come from?" [sees another note attached to it.] "If you landed here, it means you were snooping in my room. Enjoy the pricklies. Signed, Lola." [sighs in defeat]
"Dante's right, she did prepare for that." said Stella.
"Where did you even get that cactus?" asked Tabby.
"I know a guy." Lola replied.
Mr. Grouse: [noticing the tiara on Lincoln's head] "Nice tiara, Loud! What are you doing? Training for a beauty pageant?"
Lincoln: "No!" [gets an idea] "Actually, yes!" [runs off]
Mr. Grouse: "Oh. Well, good luck with that!"
"Even though I actually wasn't really training for a beauty pageant, thanks for the support Mr. Grouse.'' said Lincoln.
"Eh, don't mention it." Mr. Grouse replied.
"So you're going straight to Lola's people, huh?" asked Rusty.
Lincoln nodded.
[Miss Liza's Pageant Training Center; Lincoln is talking with some of Lola's pageant rivals.]
Lincoln: "No one has dirt on Lola Loud?" [Lola's competitors scream in fear upon hearing Lola's name and run away.] "Sheesh! What did she do to these girls?"
"What did you do to them Lola?" Lynn Sr. demanded.
"Uh… intimidate them?" Lola said nervously.
Lynn Sr., Rita, and Albert glared at her.
Lindsay Sweetwater?: "Psst! Over here!" [Lincoln turns around and sees a pair of eyes sticking out of a closet door. With no one looking, Lincoln approaches the closet, and a pair of hands drag him in. The room is pitch black and only the eyes are visible.] "Hey. I'm going to help you. Not because I like you, but because I'm tired of always coming in second place to Lola!"
Lincoln: "Wait. Is this Lindsay Sweetwater?"
"LINDSAY SWEETWATER!" Lola snarled.
"That's Lola's arch enemy, right?" asked Zach.
"That's her." nodded Lana.
"So wait, Lindsay doesn't have a crush on you?" Sid joked.
Everyone laughed while Lincoln rolled his eyes and Roinnie Anne snickered.
Lindsay Sweetwater?: "Do you want the dirt or not?"
Lincoln: "Sorry. Proceed." [Lindsay whispers a secret to Lincoln, causing him to gasp loudly.] "Holy..."
[Back at the Loud House]
Luan: "...Shamoley!"
[Lincoln has just told all his sisters Lola's secret, leaving them completely flabbergasted.]
"I should've known it was her!" Lola growled.
"What was it?" asked CJ.
"I'm afraid it is not my place to say." Lincoln replied.
Lynn: [off-screen] "Man, that is juicy!" [the sisters look over to Lynn, who is actually referring to the burger she's eating.] "And you got some really good dirt on Lola, too."
[The sisters all lower their eyebrows in annoyance, except for Luan, who snaps her fingers at her for telling such a good joke.]
Several snickers went around.
Lincoln: "Yep, and now, it's time to take her down!"
[The sisters begin cheering.]
[Lana and Lola's room]
Lola: [after hearing the secret about her.] "Holy shamoley!" [all her siblings are surrounding her angrily. She grabs Lincoln by his shirt.] "Who told you about that?!"
[Lola looks at her siblings, demanding an answer. They all shrug their shoulders, pretending not to know.]
"Looks like you're getting a taste of your own medicine." said Sid.
Lincoln: "If you tell Mom and Dad our secrets, we'll tell them yours! Now if you'll excuse us, those of us who can trust each other are going to go hang out."
[The siblings leave while Lola looks on with disappointment, realizing they got the upper hand.]
"So whaddya gonna do?" Skippy asked Lola.
"Something we didn't expect." Leni replied.
[Lori and Leni's room. The siblings are back to telling secrets.]
Lisa: "So then, kaboom! Mom and Dad's bedspread was burnt to a crisp!"
"You did what to our bedspread!?" Rita and Lynn Sr. exclaimed.
Lisa ducked out of sight.
Luan: [barging into the room with a bowl of popcorn.] "Guys! I just saw Lola marching into Mom and Dad's room! I think she's ratting us out!"
"Oh no she did not!" exclaimed Dana.
"That's actually true." said Lincoln.
Dana blinked in confusion.
[The kids begin to chatter nervously.]
Lincoln: "She wouldn't dare!"
Lori: "If she's taking us down, we're taking her down with us!"
[The siblings all rush downstairs and approach their parents' bedroom. Lola walks out with a depressed expression.]
Rita: "Thank you for telling the truth, sweetie. But you know I have to punish you. You're grounded for a month."
[Rita pats Lola on the head and closes her door. Lola glumly walks away while the others look on dumbfounded.]
"Say what now?" asked Sergio, dumbfounded as everyone else. .
"Why only her?" asked Rosa.
Lincoln: "You're grounded? Wait, what's going on?"
Lola: [sighs] "You guys are off the hook. I took the blame for all the stuff you did."
[The siblings gasp in shock.]
Those who weren't there that day gasped as well.
"You took the blame for them?" asked Sam.
"It was what i deserved for blackmailing them and spying on them." Lola sighed. "What I did was far worse than what they did."
Lincoln: "What? Why would you do that?!"
Lola: [sighs] "Cause all I really wanted was to be included in your group."
Lincoln: "Then why'd you threaten to tell on us and make us do all that stuff?"
Lola: "It was the only way I could get you to hang out with me! But then I realized I went about it the wrong way. Instead of using your secrets against you, I should have tried to earn your trust." [heading upstairs] "So from now on, that's what I'm going to work on." [voice breaking] "If anyone needs me, I'll be up in my room for the next 30 days. Care packages welcome."
[Lola sadly parts off, as her siblings look on with sadness.]
Seeing Lola looking sad and depressed, everyone couldn't help but feel sad for her.
"So that's why she did it…" said Bobby.
Lola looked down saldy for what she did. Then, she felt someone patting her back. She looked up, expecting to see Lana or one of her siblings. To her surprise, it was Winston.
"W-Winston?" she asked.
"You did the right thing in the end." he said softly. "Even if it wasn't the full truth, you knew you deserved it after all the blackmailing. And it was a way to get your siblings to trust you again."
Lola smiled sadly before Wisnton embraced her comfortingly. Everyone smiled at that.
[In her room, Lola is playing a dirge on a harmonica and is now wearing a denim prison uniform and a pink bandana with her hair now more curled.]
"Dramatic much?" Sergio asked.
Lola rolled her eyes.
[Lincoln knocks on her door and comes in.]
Lincoln: "Hey, Lola, you know, we talked it over, and decided...you're in! You've earned our trust!"
Lola: [gasps happily, rips off her uniform and reveals her normal outfit and starts dancing with joy.] "OH, YES YES YES YES!"
Everyone smiled at the Loud siblings.
"That day, she did earn our trust," said Lincoln.
"Thanks guys." Lola said appreciably.
Her response was her siblings hugging her.
[The club comes in to talk about their secrets with their new member.]
Lynn: "Aw, so you guys won't believe how bad I messed up the other day!" [her siblings' curiosity is piqued] "I was in the living room, practicing my pile driver with Mom's ironing board."
"You did what to my ironing board?!" exclaimed Rita, making Lynn chuckle nervously.
[As Lynn talks about her secret, Lola is so happy to hear every detail. Soon, the meeting is over and the kids are all wrapping up as they head back to their rooms while Lana goes into the bathroom.]
"It was nice to feel included." Lola said happily.
Lola: "Aw, you guys! That was so fun! Thanks!" [waving goodbye] "Everybody get home safe!" [closes the door and starts talking to someone.] "So, you'll never believe what Lynn did!"
[It's revealed that she's whispering Lynn's secret to her stuffed animals. She then looks at the viewers.]
Lola: "Well, what did you expect? I'm Lola Loud! It's not like they'll tell anyone!" [turns to her stuffed animals] "So, anyway..." [continues to tell them Lynn's secret.]
Everyone blinked.
"Huh, should have thought of that in the first place." said Lincoln.
"Wait is that how Teddy knew I gained a pound?" Leni asked.
Lola was now feeling how Lincoln felt when he was embarassed that Joe didn't skip the whole "Cross-dressing to attend Bring Your Daughter To Work Day" part. She groaned, her face red and has her face in her hands, "They didn't need to see that part... I know it's normal for my age, but it's the principle of the thing...!"
Lola was waiting for them to get upset or ridicule her for it, but surprisingly enough, they were fine with it.
Lincoln dared to ask, "...And you don't tell our more embarrassing secrets to anyone ALIVE, do you?"
"Of course not. Honest." Lola replied.
Lucy said with her voice threatening to break monotone, being too amused by what she saw "If you ever needed something inanimate, I could have given you a corpse I keep in the backyard."
That made everyone look at Lucy in alarm, and Rita said in a deadpan voice, "You are digging that corpse back up, wherever you buried it, when we get back to that house and returning it to its proper grave. Am I clear?"
Lucy said, "Sigh... yes, mother... I was going to use that for another ritual, but I guess I can find something else to use."
While the Morticians were impressed, Lincoln went back to Lola and her "talking to the stuffed animals" bit, "Hey, if it makes you feel any less humiliated, Lola, I do the same thing with Bun-Bun." He noticed some people trying to hold their laughter in, "Alright, whoever needs to laugh about the boy and his doll, go ahead... I can take it."
"There won't be any teasing." Lynn Sr. said firmly.
Lola looked at her siblings. "Guys? I am so sorry for what I did. I should've just talked yto you instead of just blackmailing you. That was wrong of me. As I said, I was trying to gain your trust the wrong way." she said sadly.
"We forgive you Lola, luke what we did back then." said Lincoln.
"We just wanted to know we could trust you without benign a tattletale." added Lynn.
"Which you seemed to neglect when the Millers were our neighbors." Luna deadpanned.
"Yeah… old habits die hard." Lola said sheepishly.
"Well either way, we still forgive you." smiled Lori.
Lola smiled at that.
"So… secrets club huh?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Are there any other secrets you wish to tell us?" Rita demanded.
The siblings traded nervous glances.
"No Mom, all those secrets Lola told you that she did but we did was all us." said Lincoln.
"Very well then." said Rita. "But don't think we're not talking about this when we get back."
"Yes Mom." the Loud siblings said.
But Rita and Lynn Sr. failed to see the kids shared relieved glances, something Albert and Huggins noticed.
"It's obvious that they're lying." Huggins said to Rita's father.
"Yeah, but from what I've seen, this secret secrets club is a good bonding between the kids." said Albert. "It brings them closer together and increases their trust. Why ruin a good thing like that?"
"I suppose." shrugged Huggins.b
"Don't worry about it Wilbur." smield Albert. "Just relax and watch the next episode."
"Speaking of next episode." came Joe's voice. "The next one is a Lincoln and Luan episode."
"Please tell me it's not the next April Fool's one." Lincoln pleaded.
Luan looked nervous.
"Actually, it's a good one. A nice bonding experience between you two." Joe replied.
"Oh. Well that's better." said Luan as she sat next to Lincoln. "I can't wait to see it."
"Me too." said Lincoln.
Everyone faced the screen again.
