Happy Mother's Day to the moms out there.

Aurora POV

When we got to school, we headed straight to the library. We were sitting at the table as Jenna, Giles and Cole paced behind us. Elijah who returned from an errand is trying to keep me calm as we explained what we saw this morning.

"...and then Aunt Joyce broke the plate. It was just like my dream. Every gesture, every word," I told Giles as I looked up at him. "It was so creepy."

"Yes, well, I-I-I'd imagine it would be... fairly unnerving," Giles stuttered as he sat down on the edge of the table.

"Hey! It's the women and man of the hour," Xander exclaimed as he and Willow walked in.

"It's Happy Birthday Aurora, Buffy, Kate, Kyra, & Jeremy!" Willow replied as she jumped over to the table and hugs each of us. "Not Happy Birthday?" as she noticed that our heads were down and Buffy pulled a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"I-it's just that, um, part of the nightmare that Aurora had the other night actually transpired," Giles stated.

"Which means Drusilla might still be alive. Giles, in my dream, I couldn't stop her. She blindsided me. A-Angel was gone, Cole and Elijah down before I know what happened," I voiced.

"Even if she is alive, we can still protect Angel. Dreams aren't prophecies, Girls." Jenna voiced.

"Y-y-you dreamt that the Master had risen, but you and Aurora stopped it from happening," Giles stuttered.

"You ground his bones to make your bread," Jeremy asserted.

"That's true. Except for the bread part," Buffy voiced.

"Okay, so fine. We're one step ahead, but I wanna stay that way," I told Giles.

"Absolutely," Elijah said as he stood up and took Brianna from my arms. "Let me read up on Drusilla. See if she has any particular patterns."

"I'll join you," Giles said as they walked towards his office. "Why don't you meet me here at 7:00? We'll map out a strategy."

"What are we supposed to do until then?" Kate questioned.

"Go to classes, do your homework, have supper..." Jenna answered.

"Right," Kyra replied as we got up, grabbed our bags and started to head out.

I kissed Cole, Elijah and Brianna goodbye as Cole, Willow and Xander had a free period and the rest of us had class. We headed out of the library to our class.

Third Person

Back in the library as the girls and Jeremy headed to class.

"Well, those aren't perky birthday puppies," Xander voiced as they watched them leave.

"So much for our surprise party," Willow muttered. "I bought little hats and everything."

"Mm-hm," Cole said.

"Oh, well. I guess I'll tell Cordelia," Willow replied as she got up to go.

"No, you won't," Giles stated as he stopped Xander, Leo, Andy, Cole, and Willow. "We're having a party tonight."

"Looks like Mr. Caution Man, but the sound he makes is funny," Cole responded as they stared at Giles.

Willow and the others that were leaving frowned and nodded in agreement.

"Their surprise party will go ahead as we planned," Elijah voiced.

"Except I won't be wearing a silly little hat," Giles pointed out.

"But Aurora and Angel..." Willow started to say.

"May well be in danger... as they have been before, and, I imagine, will be again," Giles stated. "One thing I've learned in my tenure here on the Hellmouth is that there is no good time to relax."

"And the girls and Jeremy turning 16, 17 and 18 just this once. And they deserve a party," Jenna voiced.

"You're a great man of our time," Leo said.

"And anyway, Angel's coming," Willow replied as she smiled. "So they'll be able to protect him and have cake."

"Precisely," Elijah said as he walked into Giles's office with Giles right behind him.

The rest of the gang left with a bounce in their step.

Time Skip

Aurora POV

After school, we headed home. Jenna, Elijah and Cole kept Brianna at the school while we headed home to change. After we were done changing, we headed back to school.

"Girls, Jeremy," We heard Ms. Calendar say just as we were almost at the door.

"Oh, my God," Buffy said as we were startled.

"We didn't see you there," I replied as we turned around.

"Sorry. Um, Giles wanted me to tell you that there's been a change of plans," Ms. Calendar told us. "Uh, he wants to meet you someplace near his house 'cause he had to run home and get a book or something."

"'Cause heaven knows there aren't enough books in the library," Kate voiced.

"Uh, he's... very thorough," Ms. Calendar responded.

"Oh, which is not to bag," Kyra stated. "It's kind of manly in an obsessive-compulsive kind of way, don't you think?"

"Mm-hm, Um, you know, my car's here. Why don't I drive you?" Ms. Calendar returned.

"Okay," Jeremy said as we headed out to Ms. Calendar's car and got in.

Ten minutes later, we were outside of the Bronze as the car stopped.

"Are we going to the Bronze?" Buffy questioned.

"I'm not sure. Giles and Jenna gave me an address. I'm just following his directions," Ms. Calendar answered.

"This looks funky..." Kate responded as we noticed something.

"Stop for a sec," I added as we watch a trunk that was parked, a man jumped off of the trunk bed while another walked across the loading dock.

"No, girls, Jeremy, maybe you shouldn't," Ms. Calendar voiced.

"Sorry, Sacred duty, yada, yada, yada," Kyra returned as we got out of the car and started to investigate.

"What is this?" We heard Ms. Calendar's question as she sighed.

We walked up and stopped by the cab and saw the same vampire we saw before Angel was hurt carrying a wooden box.

"Every time we see you, you're stealing something," Buffy said as the vampire looked up at us.

"You really should speak with someone about this klepto issue," I stated.

We heard the truck's engine start as Buffy reached for the door handle. The vampire tried to escape as the truck door swung open before one of us could reach it. One vampire kicked at Buffy as more came after us. We continued to fight the vampires that were around us. Kate and Kyra used their physical powers to fight them as Jeremy, Buffy and I used our instincts and somewhat charmed powers to fight them. We killed our vampires before going to the next. A vampire grabbed me by my jacket lifted me up before pulling me into a full nelson hold. I pushed him back into a large wooden box. He was stunned for a moment but let go as I snapped my head back and headbutted him. A second vampire climbed onto the bed and came at me. I punched him and turned to punch the other vampire that was behind me. I kicked the first vampire in the chest making him fall and roll over a crate as I blocked a swing from the vampire that was now behind me, grabbed his arm and shoved his head into the crate.

Third Person

As the part of the gang was fighting outside, the rest of the gang were inside waiting for them.

"Where are they?" Angel questioned as he peeked out from behind a pillar and looked around.

The others peek out from behind the pool table and look up at him. Rebekah was hiding with Klaus and Andy, Finn with Leo, and Elijah was holding Brianna as they hid with Lady the direwolf. Giles hid with Jenna and Xander. Cordelia was hiding by herself.

"Shh! I think I hear them coming," Willow responded as she and the rest of them hid.

Back outside...

Aurora POV

We were still fighting the vampires that we found, I killed one of the vampires with a makeshift stake as Kate, Kyra and Jeremy used their powers to kill them and Buffy killed her vampire. The other vampire that I was fighting got behind me as lifted up and threw me at the door as I hit it and rolled away. I got up as the vampire and I crashed through the window of the Bronze and fell to the floor. I grabbed a drumstick from a drum set, spun around with it and thrust it into the vampire's chest. I pulled back as the vampire turned to dust.

"Surprise!" I heard Cordelia exclaim as I turned around to see everyone.

We looked back at Cordelia as Jeremy, Kyra, and Buffy orbed into the room. Where's Kate and Ms. Calendar?

"That pretty much sums it up," Oz said.

Xander shook his head at Cordelia as I hopped down from the stage.

"Are you okay?" Angel asked as he, Cole, Elijah and Brianna came over to me.

Brianna raised her arms towards me for me to pick her up. I took her into my arms and kissed her forehead before rocking her.

"Yes. W-what happened?" Giles questioned.

"Uh, there were these vamps out..." I responded as I looked around. "What's going on?"

"Oh, um... A surprise party," Jenna answered as she blew on a party favour.

"Happy Birthday," Cordelia and Rebekah told us.

"You guys did all this for us?" Kyra responded.

"That is so sweet," I replied as I kissed Cole, Angel and Elijah's cheek before handing Brianna back to Elijah.

"You sure you're okay?" Elijah questioned.

"Yes, I'm fine," I answered.

"Are you okay?" Willow asked Oz.

"Yeah," Oz responded. "Hey did everybody see that guy just turn to dust?"

"Uh, well, uh... sort of," Willow stuttered.

"Yep. Vampires are real. A lot of them live in Sunnydale," Xander said as he gestured between Willow and Oz. "Willow will fill you in," As he walked off.

"I know it's hard to accept at first," Willow stated.

"Actually, it explains a lot," Oz replied.

"Hey, can somebody give us a hand here?" Ms. Calendar questioned as she and Kate tried to carry a large box that I saw one of the vampires try and carry.

Angel and Giles took it from her and sat it on the table in front of us.

"Those creeps left this behind," Ms. Calendar told us.

"What is it?" Buffy inquired.

"I have no idea," Giles responded. "Can, can it be opened?"

"Yeah, This looks like a release right here," Kyra said as she worked the latch and opened the box.

We looked inside to see an arm clad in armour. I looked over to Giles in disgust. All of a sudden the arm raised up and grabbed me by the throat and began choking me. I struggled with the arm as Angel, Cole and Elijah tried to pull the arm off of me. Between all three of them and me, we were able to get it off and back into the box before closing the box. I stepped back and tried to catch my breath. I started coughing as Angel and Cole took me aside.

"Well, clearly the Hellmouth's answer to 'what do you get the Slayers who has everything?'" Xander joked.

"Good Heavens. Aurora, are you all right?" Giles asked.

"Man, that thing had major grip," I voiced.

"W-what was that?" Willow stuttered.

"It looked like an arm," Oz responded.

"It can't be," Elijah muttered.

"She wouldn't," Angel muttered as well.

"What, uh, vamp's version of 'snakes in a can', or do you care to share?" Xander joked.

"Angel? Elijah?" I responded.

"It-It's a legend..." Elijah responded as we looked at the box.

"Way before my time... of a demon brought to forth to rid the Earth of the plague of humanity... separate the righteous from the wicked..." Angel explained.

"And to the righteous down. They call him the Judge," Cole finished.

"The Judge? This is he?" Giles questioned.

"Not all of him," Angel answered.

"Um, still needing backstory here," Buffy responded as she raised her hand.

"Um... He, he, couldn't be killed, yes? Um, a-an army was sent against him," Giles told us.

"Most of them died but, they were finally able to dismember him, but not kill him," Klaus continued.

"The pieces were scattered... buried in every corner of the Earth," Angel finished the backstory.

"So all these parts are being brought here," Ms. Calendar responded.

"By Drusilla," Kate voiced.

"The vamps outside were Spike's men," Kyra stated.

"She's crazy enough to do it," Angel stated.

"Do what, reassemble the Judge?" Willow questioned.

"And bring forth Armageddon," Elijah remarked.

"Is anybody else gonna have cake?" Cordelia brought up before heading to the pool table.

"We need to get this out of town," Jenna voiced.

"Angel," Ms. Calendar brought up.

"What?" I responded.

"You have to do it," Ms. Calendar told Angel. "You're the only one beside Elijah that can protect this thing."

"What about me?" I asked.

"What, you're just gonna skip town for a few months?" Ms. Calendar questioned.

"'Months'?" I gasped as Brianna started crying.

I took Brianna back from Rebekah and calm her down before she fell asleep in my arms.

"She's right. I gotta get this to the remotest region possible," Angel said as he came over to Brianna and me.

"But that's not months," I responded with an upset voice and handed Brianna to Jenna.

"I gotta catch a cargo ship to Asia," Angel worriedly said with grand gestures. "Maybe trek to Nepal..."

"You know, those newfangled flying machines are much safer than they used to be," I interrupted him.

"I can't fly. There's no sure way to guard against the daylight," Angel responded. "I-I-I don't like this any more than you do, Aurora." As he came face to face with me with Cole and Elijah on either side of me. "But there's no other way or choice."

"When?" I questioned.

"Tonight. As soon as possible," Angel answered.

"But it's my birthday," I returned.

"I'll drive you to the docks," Ms. Calendar announced as she came over to us.

"We'll stay here with Brianna," Cole said as Elijah nodded.

I kissed Brianna's forehead before Angel kissed Brianna's forehead. We headed out to Ms. Calendar's car. We got in and we were off to the docks for our personal goodbye.

Third Person

Across town in Spike's warehouse, Drusilla was confronting the vampire that was supposed to bring the box that they needed.

"You lost it? You..." Drusilla voiced. "lost my present."

"I know," the vampire said as he looked down. "I'm sorry."

"It was a bad turn, man," Spike replied as he leaned his hand against his cheek. "She can't have fun without the box."

"The Slayers," The vampire stated. "They came out of nowhere. I didn't even see them. They..."

Drusilla cut him off by placing her finger onto his lips as she stared into his eyes. She lifted his glasses off and dropped them. She stomped her foot and crushed them into the cement under her foot as she lifted her head with her eyes closed.

"Make a wish," Drusilla whispered as she opened her eyes.

"What?" the vampire muttered.

"I'm going to blow out the candles," Drusilla voiced as she held up two of her fingers to his eyes.

"You might give him a chance to find your lost treasure. He is a wanker, but he's the only one we've got with half a brain," Spike said as he lifted his head. "If he fails, you can eat his eyes out of the sockets for all I care."

"I'll get it. Please," the vampire stated. "I swear."

Drusilla thrust both of her hands at him and pulled them back at the last minute and made fists. She smiled evilly at him before bending down to pick up his glasses.

"Okay," Drusilla responded as she unfolded them and set them back on his nose. "Hurry back then," As she patted his head and stepped over to Spike. She sat on his lap as the vampire took a sigh of relief before turning and leaving for his task.

Back with Aurora...

Aurora POV

We were at the docks. Angel and I made our way to a ship. Angel was carrying the box on his shoulder. The free arm was interlocked with mine as I leaned into him, as he kissed me on the head. Once we got the gangplank, Angel sat down the box. We took a few steps away from the package.

"I should go the rest of the way alone," Angel told us.

"Okay," I responded.

"But I'll be back," Angel returned. "I will."

"When? Six months, a year?" I voiced. "You don't know how long it's gonna take or if we'll even..." As I looked down.

"Hey..." Angel said as his hand raised my chin. "If we'll even what?"

"Well, if you haven't noticed," I replied with tears in my eyes. "Someone always wants us dead."

"Don't say that," Angel responded. "We'll be fine."

"We don't know that," I stated.

"We can't know, Aurora. Nobody can. That's just the deal," Angel responded as he reached into his pocket. "I have something for you. It's part of your gifts. For your birthday. I... I was gonna give it to you earlier, but..." He pulled out a Celtic ring with an intricate design on it.

"It's beautiful," I whispered.

"My people... before I was changed... they exchanged this as a sign of devotion. It's a Claddagh ring," Angel told me. "The hands represent friendship, the crown represents loyalty.. and the heart... Well, you know... Wear it with the heart pointing towards you. It means you belong to somebody. Like this."

All I think is that this ring belongs to my Angel's heritage and now belongs to me. I looked down at the ring as he showed me his own ring on his finger. I touched his hand, leaned over and kissed the ring.

"Let me put it on," Angel added as he took the ring from me and slipped it on my finger.

"I don't wanna do this," I sobbed.

"Me either," Angel muttered.

"So don't go," I told him.

Angel pulled me into a kiss and my arms went around him. After several kisses, we stopped and looked at each other.

"Aurora... I..." Angel started to say.

Angel and I were pulled apart by two vampires who pulled me off of Angel and threw me onto my back. I got back up as one vampire took a swing at me, but missed. I grabbed his arm and started to pummel him. I could see Angel from the corner of my eye, fighting the other vampire as I ducked from a swing, lifted myself up onto the docking railing and kicked the assailant in the chest with both of my feet, making him stagger backwards. I gave him a chase before grabbing him by the back of the shirt and hair before noticing that the vampire who was near the Bronze was running for the box.

"Angel! The Box!" I yelled.

My attacker used my lack of attention to get free from my grasp and pushed me into a stack of crates. The vampire followed up with a roundhouse kick in which I ducked as he hit the crates with his leg. I went to grab for him, but only to be punched in the face and grabbed by the jacket. He roared as he swung me around and over the railing into the water.

"Aurora!" I heard Angel yell as I hit the water.

Third Person

At the library, Giles, Jenna, Kate, Kyra and Elijah were researching the Judge as Giles looked up at the time.

"They should be back by now," Giles stated.

"Maybe Aurora needed a few minutes to pull herself together," Willow responded.

"Poor Aurora, on her birthday and everything," Kate added.

"Hmm, it's sad, granted. But let's look up at the upside for a moment," Xander voiced as he got up. "I mean, what kind of a future would she have really with him?" As he ignored Elijah's and Cole's glares at him. "She's got 2 jobs- Baker by day," As the others looked up at him. "Slayer by night- and Angel's always in front of the TV with big blood belly, and dreams of the glory days when Aurora still thought this whole creature of the night routine was a big turnon."

Cole was starting to get a little angry with Elijah not too far behind him.

"You've thought way too much about this," Kyra responded.

"No, no, that's just the beginning," Xander voiced. "Have I told you the part where I fly into town in my private jet and take Aurora out for prime rib?"

Xander continued to daydream without realizing that Cole and Elijah were getting angrier at him.

"Xander..." Willow responded as she noticed that Aurora was coming in.

"And she cries?" Xander continued.

Back with Aurora...

Aurora POV

After Angel saved me from the water, Ms. calendar brought me to school as she took Angel back to his apartment. I walked into the library to Xander talking about something.

"What happened?" Giles questioned as he noticed me walking to the room.

"Dru's guys ambushed us," I responded. "They got the box."

"Where's Jenny?" Jenna asked.

"Uh, she took Angel to get clothing. I, I had some here," I answered.

"And we needed clothes because..." Xander started to say.

"We got wet," I interrupted. "Giles, what do we know?"

"The more we study the Judge, the less I like him," Giles responded.

"His touch can literally burn the humanity out of you," Elijah said as he came over with Brianna and Cole.

"A true creature of evil can survive the process. No human has," Cole added.

"What's the problem? We send Cordy to fight this guy, and we go for pizza," Xander piped up as he smiled.

I shook my head at that thought before kissing Cole's and Elijah's lips.

"Can this guy be stopped?" Buffy questioned.

"Without an army?" I added.

"Um," Jenna said as she looked down at the book that was in Giles's hands. "'no weapon forged can kill him.' Not very encouraging."

"If we could only stop them from assembling him," Kyra stated.

"We need to find his weak spots, and we need to figure out where they'd be keeping him," Buffy returned.

"This could take time," Klaus declared.

"Better do a round-robin," Willow voiced.

"Xander, you go first," Kate stated.

"Good call," I responded as Xander headed for the library phone.

"Round robin?" Giles questioned.

"It's when everybody calls everybody else's mom and tells them they're staying at everyone's house," Kyra explained.

"Thus freeing us to save the world," I stated.

"And all-night keggers!" Willow exclaimed with a smile. "What, only Xander and Jeremy only get to make dumb jokes?" As she got looks from us all.

"Mom, hi, Xander," I heard Xander say. "Yeah, uh, Willow and I are gonna studying all night long, so I'm not gonna be coming home."

"I'll be right back," I told them. "I'm going to get changed."

I grabbed the bag that Cole handed out to me. I headed to the bathroom to change.

When I got to the bathroom, I opened the bag to see a white top, pair of pants, a belt, and shoes. I took off my jewelry before getting dressed in my dry clothes and placed my wet clothes into the bag. I grabbed my brush and brushed my hair and pulled it back. I placed my jewelry back on and placed my brush back into the bag. I grabbed the bag and headed back to the library.

"Okay, who's next to call?" I asked.

"No one," Rebekah said as she walked into the room with Jeremy.

"Okay," I replied as I took Brianna from Elijah and headed into the office to read and feed Brianna her bottle.

I fed Brianna and burped her before putting her down into the playpen that was there. I got to reading before I knew my eyes were starting shut and I was falling asleep.

Third Person

Outside the office in the library, researching was getting hot and heavy. Xander walked over to Willow at the counter with another book.

"Tsk, I think I read this already," Xander voiced.

"I can't get over how cool Oz was about all this," Willow responded.

"Gee, I'm over it," Xander stated.

"You're just jealous 'cause you didn't have a date for the party," Willow smugly said.

"No, I sure didn't," Xander replied.

Kate, Kyra, Jeremy, Cole, Kol and Rebekah looked up at each other and smirked as they knew something that Willow didn't.

"Angel? Any luck?" Giles questioned as he came into the main room.

Angel came out and down out of the stacks. Giles looked over to see a sleeping Aurora and Brianna.

"Shhh," Giles shushed as Angel, Elijah and Cole's gaze followed Gile's gaze into the office.

Aurora's head was down on the desk and asleep for now. Giles waved Angel, Elijah and Cole to follow him.

"Seems Aurora needed some rest," Giles whispered.

"Yeah, she hasn't been sleeping well," Angel said. "Tossing and turning." As everyone else stared at them. "She told me. Because of her dreams?"

Everyone went back to their tasks.

Back in the office...

Aurora POV

Dream

I was walking into Spike's warehouse. All around me was party decorations, candles on tall stick burning way down and boxes. I saw Ms. Calendar walking the other way. I shook my head in confusion as I got distracted by several boxes that were similar to the box that Angel was going to take away. I went over to them and bent down.

"Now, now," I heard Drusilla say.

I spun around to see her on the upper level holding Angel in front of her. I saw Elijah and Cole on the ground knocked out.

"Hands off my presents," Drusilla responded as she placed a sharp blade to Angel's neck.

"No!" I yelled.

Dream

I woke to a sharp scream as Brianna started to cry.

"Angel! Elijah! Cole!" I yelled as I grabbed Brianna and tried to calm her down.

"Aurora, it's okay," Angel said as he, Elijah and Cole came into the room.

Cole took Brianna from me as I turned to Angel.

"We're here," Angel told me as I hugged him close. "We're right here."

Third Person

Across town in the warehouse, Drusilla stood at the top of the spiral staircase. "More music!" Drusilla commanded as she clapped her hands together.

She bobbed her head to the gothic beat as she descended the steps. The party was going well as she made her way to the head of the table and began to dance. Spike rolled in with a large box on his lap.

"Look what I have for you, ducks," Spike declared.

Drusilla looked over at him. She smiled and stepped over to him.

"Ah..." Drusilla responded. "The best is saved for last." As she took the box from him and handed it to two vampires.

The two vampires took it over to where the other boxes were assembled into a shape of a body. They raised the box and set it in place. Once in place, a bright light emanates through the cracks of the boxes.

"Hmm," Drusilla responded as she smiled.

The front of the now unified boxes opened like a pair of twin gates. The Judge walked out, he was blue and had small horns on his forehead. His eyes snapped open.

"He's perfect, my darling," Drusilla voiced as Spike looked up at her. "Just what I wanted." As she stepped towards Spike and took his hand. "Goll..." She stared at the Judge.

The Judge stepped out of his box. He stumbled for a moment trying to keep his balance.

"You!" The Judge exclaimed as he pointed towards Drusilla.

"Ho, ho, ho," Spike said as she rolled over to him in Drusilla's defence. "What's that, mate?"

"You two stink of humanity," Judge voiced. "You share affection and jealousy."

"Yeah. What of it?" Spike asked as he tapped on the Judge's armour. "Do I have to remind you that we're the ones who brought you here?"

"Would you like a party favour?" Drusilla questioned as she smiled and gestured to her guests.

The Judge looked at the party guests and his gaze settled on the glasses-wearing vampire.

"This one is full of feeling," Judge said as he continued to stare at the vampire. "He reads. Bring him to me."

Another vampire grabbed the vampire who was wearing glasses and kept from running away.

"What's with the bringing?" Spike asked. "I thought you could just zap people."

"My full strength will return in time. Until then..." Judge explained. "I need contact." As he stepped over to the vampire.

"No. No! NO!" The vampire screamed.

The Judge placed his hand on the vampire's chest, and he began to smoke. Drusilla watched in excitement. The Judge's hand began to burn into the vampire, who quickly combusted, disappearing in a flash of fire and smoke.

"Do it again!" Drusilla gasped. "Do it again!" As jumped in glee.

She smiled down at Spike as the Judge smiled as he felt his power began to return.

Back at the library...

Aurora POV

I strode out of the office with the boys and Brianna following behind me. Giles looked down at us from the stacks.

"Aurora, what's happening?" Giles questioned.

"She had another dream," Angel responded for me.

"I think I know where Spike and Drusilla are," I voiced.

"That's very good, however, you, you do need a plan," Giles stated as he came down the stairs.

"I know you're concerned, Aurora, but you can't just go off half-cocked," Jenna told me.

"I have a plan. Angel, Buffy, Cole and I got to the factory and do recon, figure out how far they've gotten assembling the Judge," I told them.

"You guys check any places the boxes could be coming into town," Buffy added. "Shipping yards, airports, anything. We need to stop them from getting all the boxes in one place."

I had a feeling we were too late.

"Elijah stays here protect Brianna until we get back," I told him as I turned to him and kissed his cheek.

"I will, darling," Elijah said as he took Brianna from Cole.

"Yes. Yes, well, um actually, that's quite a good plan," Giles replied.

"This thing is nasty, and it's real, guys. We can't wait for it to come and get us," Buffy responded.

"Right," Giles returned.

"Good luck, guys," Jenna and Kate said before Buffy grabbed her bag and we were out the door with Cole and Angel behind us.

Ten minutes later, we were at the warehouse where the anointed one once lived. The four of us were sneaking as quietly as possible along, the upper level. We looked down at the party going on below as we walked to the railing.

"I saw this," I whispered. "The party."

My eyes widen as we saw the Judge walked into our view with Drusilla and Spike following behind.

"What?" Spike questioned as the Judge stopped. "What is it?"

He could sense us. We're screwed.

"We gotta get out of here," Angel responded as the Judge looked around and then at us.

The Judge growled as we tried to make a run for it. A group of vampires headed us off on both sides. We were grabbed and brought before Spike, Drusilla and the Judge.

"Well, well," Spike said. "Look what we have here. Crashers."

"I'm sure our invitations just got lost in the mail," Buffy responded.

"It's delicious," Drusilla said as she licked her fingers before looking at Angel. "I only dreamed you'd come. Rrrr."

"Leave them alone," Angel replied as he and Cole struggled.

"Yeah, that'll work," Spike returned as he smiled at us. "Now say 'pretty please'."

"The girls," The Judge declared.

"Chilling, isn't it? They are so full of good intention," Drusilla voiced.

Angel and Cole tried to get in between the Judge, Buffy and me.

"Take us!" Cole exclaimed.

"No!" Buffy and I responded.

"Take us instead of them!" Angel voiced.

"Uh, you're not clear on the concept, pal. There is no instead. Just first, second, third and last." Spike told him as he raised his hand.

I tried to get my elemental powers to work but didn't they weren't working for some reason.

"And if you go first, you don't get to watch the slayers die," Drusilla declared.

Angel and Cole's captors pulled him back as The judge reached for Buffy and me. In the corner of my eye, I saw Angel and Cole looking for a way out of this. Buffy and I got ready to defend ourselves.

"Don't touch him!" Cole and Angel exclaimed.

Buffy and I kicked the Judge in the chest, which knocked him back. Angel and Cole shook off their captors and lunged for the chains. The Judge stopped beneath the monitors as the boys released them. We watched as they crashed on top of the Judge. They fell hard enough on the floor to make a hole. Buffy and I struggled to get free and rushed towards Angel and Cole.

"This way!" Buffy and I said as we went through the hole.

Angel and Cole dropped down behind us. We got to our feet.

"Split up! Cole and Buffy go one way! Angel and I will go another!" I exclaimed as we started down the tunnels.

Angel and I got to a small room and closed the door behind us. I could hear two pursuers drop through the hole and headed down the opposite way that we were in. We waited for a moment before getting out of the room. I checked to see if the coast was clear and it was. We walked towards a ladder. I headed up with Angel behind me. I lifted the manhole cover up and pushed it aside before climbing out into the pouring rain. Angel followed right behind me.

"Come on," Angel said as he put his arm around my shoulder. "We need to get inside."

"We'll go to your apartment," I responded as we headed to Angel's apartment.

Ten minutes later, we were at Angel's apartment. Angel opened the door and we walked in. He turned on the light as I closed the door. He took off his heavy coat and laid it down. I was soaked to my skin without a jacket or coat on.

"You're shaking like a leaf," Angel voiced.

"Cold," I chattered.

"Let me get you something," Angel responded as he went to get some things from his armoire and handed them to me. "Put these on. Get under the covers, just to warm up."

I walked over to the bed and sat down. I looked up at him.

"Sorry," Angel said as he turned around to give me some privacy.

I took off my top, and winced and inhaled in pain.

"What?" Angel questioned.

"Oh, um..." I responded. "It's okay. I just a cut or something."

"Can I..." Angel replied. "Lemme see."

"Okay," I whispered as I clutched my shirt to my chest.

Angel turned around and sat down on the bed behind me. He gently touched my back and looked at the cut.

"It's already closed," Angel said. "You're fine."

I leaned into him and cuddled my face to his.

"You almost went away today," I replied as he placed his arms around me.

"We both did," Angel returned.

"Angel..." I sobbed. "I feel like I lost you..." I sniffled. "You're right, though. We can't be sure of anything."

"Shh. I..." Angel said as he tried to calm me down.

"You what?" I questioned as I turned around to look at him.

"I love you. I try not to, but I can't stop." Angel voiced.

"Me, me, too. I can't either," I returned.

We began to kiss but only for Angel to stop and break it off.

"Aurora, maybe we shouldn't..." Angel started to say.

"Don't. Just kiss me," I interrupted him.

We went back to kissing, which turned into more than heavy passion.

Third Person

Three hours later, Angel and Aurora were asleep. Outside, you could hear lightning striking.

"Ahh!" Angel gasped as he woke with a start and gasping for air.

Angel sat up and got out of bed and hurried off towards the alley.

Angel was dressed as he crashed through the door into the rain. He stumbled against some trashcans and fell to the pavement.

"Aurora!" Angel cried out in pain and in fear.

But Aurora didn't hear him only to stir a slightly but kept sleeping away.

"Auroraaaa!" Angel screamed out.
