By eight, the two mechs decide it's time to talk to the girls. Crosshairs shows J.R. the two pictures he took today, happy to see her smiling until she realizes Jayce is struggling to be happy about this.

She still has at least two weeks before she wakes up, maybe a month, and if Drift has to watch her go through short comas. She was critical for forty-five days; I failed her. Jayce reminds herself, resulting in tears rolling down her face.

"Come on," Crosshairs insists and takes J.R.'s hand.

"I can't believe she's still this upset," J.R. says as she sits on the bed. Crosshairs sits next to her and moves her onto his lap in a hug. He knew she wouldn't be able to avoid crying, but it's clear she forgot how Jayce blames herself for how long this has been going on.

These two have a long way to go recovering mentally. Maybe they just need to see Jamie fully recovered, but I worry we'll have a problem if that's not the case. I know it's wishful thinking they'll recover mentally once Jamie wakes up.

Drift struggles to get Jayce to calm down, hating how she still blames herself for how long Jamie has been fighting for her life.

"Shh, it's ok, it's not your fault," he reminds her.

I don't think she can stop crying even if she wants to. Drift worries.

He can get her to lie down in bed, which gets her to calm down within a few minutes.

"Jamie will be ok, you did the best you could, and that's all we can ask for," Drift tries to comfort Jayce as he wipes her eyes. He lies on the bed with her, hoping Jayce will fall asleep.

"I couldn't take care of her, and if we were alone..."

"It's ok, time to think about how she's finally getting better."

He hugs her close and rubs her back as Jayce slowly calms down and falls asleep.

Crosshairs is displeased with what Drift is telling him. Both worry J.R. is hiding how she's been thinking like Jayce. Uncertain if they should ask her or not.

Crosshairs is not pleased Drift will not go to bed and hates why; Drift is concerned about how terrifying Jayce's nightmare will be tonight. The fact Drift assumes she'll have one is depressing enough to Crosshairs.

"Your turn to be with Jamie," Drift smiles.

Crosshairs is uncertain what to think about Drift choosing to stay away from his girl though he can hold her.

Crosshairs walks into the building as Bulma checks over Jamie. She sees he's walked in, realizing he sees the breathing tube package and laryngoscope.

"I told you she may still have a setback. I just want to be prepared," she assures him, "she's still doing well with 50% support."

How long before you decrease how much she's getting, or is she not ready? Crosshairs wonders.

Bulma helps position Jamie onto Crosshairs' lap and leaves the building with her laptop.

Crosshairs stares at his unconscious friend, having a hard time believing this isn't a dream, that it's not his moment alone to say goodbye.

No, she's getting better. He tells himself as he hugs Jamie, being careful of the wires and tubes.

Crosshairs didn't expect Drift to walk in ten minutes later.

"You really can't stay away from her now, can you?" Crosshairs teases.

"Hound thinks he can handle Jayce," Drift explains, clearly uncertain about his decision to be here.

Drift moves a chair close to the bed and takes Jamie's hand, "come on, my little warrior, you've come this far."

Hearing Drift say this hurt Crosshairs.

He's terrified she'll have a serious setback.

Seeing the supplies on the table adds to Drift's fear.

Bulma rushes in, knowing Drift would worry.

"I promise you it's just to be prepared. Jamie is doing well," Bulma explains, feeling Drift tremble from fear.

"Let him hold Jamie," Crosshairs insists.

It takes a few minutes to make the switch. Crosshairs side hugs Drift as Drift hugs Jamie.

"I can't say for sure, but I think she'll wake up in a week or two," Bulma explains.

Both mechs can't believe how long Jamie's body still has to fight the chemical, hoping she won't feel too weak or end up in short comas.

Bulma worries about the two mechs, Jayce and J.R.'s mental state. Jamie waking up will help a lot, but will it be enough that Jamie won't notice? Bulma wonders how she can help them.

The two mechs stay with Jamie for two hours. Drift doesn't want to let his girl go, but Crosshairs and Drift don't like staying while Bulma is asleep.

"I love you," he whispers and kisses Jamie.

"Is she strong enough to be moved to your dimension?" Cade asks once the portal closes.

"Yes, but I worry about Jayce and J.R."

"This would be good for them," Vegeta adds, "Jamie's energy is stronger."

"I don't know..."

"Talk to Crosshairs and Drift tomorrow," Cade suggests before going to his trailer.

"Everyone will heal from this," Vegeta assures Bulma before opening a portal.

With Bumblebee staying in J.R.'s room, Crosshairs and Drift stay in Jayce's room, hoping she'll sleep all night since she knows Jamie is doing better.

The two mechs are woken up four hours later by the sound of crying.

They dread seeing Jayce, still asleep and bawling. Both knowing what her nightmare is about.

"Damn, I was hoping hearing the good news would have helped her," Crosshairs says sadly as Drift moves Jayce onto his lap.

"I don't think her nightmares are going away until Jamie wakes up," Drift sighs, raising his voice slightly so Crosshairs can hear him, "but she's never cried like this."

I don't understand why now, after we told you good news? Drift wonders.

Hound watches by the door, which is open enough for him to hear Jayce cry.

This isn't the first time she's cried like this after a nightmare. I was hoping you two wouldn't witness this. Hound sighs, closes the door, and goes to check on J.R.

"Drift, she's terrified," Crosshairs observes, seeing how tight of a grip Jayce has on Drift.

"She's too mentally unstable to process good news," Drift says in a sad tone, "I-I don't know if letting the girls see Jamie is a good idea."

The two mechs struggle to get Jayce to calm down. They struggle for ten minutes before Jayce ends up in a seizure.

"I worry this is going to be a problem long after Jamie recovers," Drift frets.

Drift lays Jayce on the bed, waiting for the seizure to end. Crosshairs gets tissues and sits on his knees by the bed. They do their best to keep Jayce from crying once she's out of the seizure.

"You're ok; Jamie is getting better," Crosshairs assures her as he wipes her eyes.

Jayce stays in bed, hoping to fall asleep as Crosshairs and Drift stayed to comfort her, thinking if she should ask for sleep aide, hating she can't think Jamie is finally getting better. Terrified to Crosshairs and Drift what the nightmare was about.

Jayce is finally asleep by four in the morning.

Crosshairs insists the two of them go back to bed, but Drift is worried Jayce will wake up again. He gives in and finally falls asleep.

Crosshairs is up four hours later, having a hard time believing J.R. slept all night. Crosshairs didn't expect J.R. to run up to him and hug him. Hound watches, knowing exactly what Crosshairs is thinking.

Crosshairs picks J.R. up and sits on the bed. Though he may be yelled at, Hound moves a chair close to the bed. The room is silent; Crosshairs isn't sure what to make of this and knows if he asks J.R., he'll likely cause her to cry.

"What are we going to do about Jayce?" J.R. asks, trying not to cry.

"Drift, and I have an idea..." Crosshairs trails off, uncertain if he should tell J.R., "she'll be ok."

Did you see what happened last night? Crosshairs worries. I need to figure out how bad J.R.'s mental state is.

"Come on, let's get breakfast," Crosshairs suggests as he stands up. J.R. tightens her hold on Crosshairs as he walks out of the room. Crosshairs wonders if J.R. is too depressed to refuse or willing to eat food.

Hound watches Crosshairs walk down the hall, wondering if J.R. is doing better mentally or hiding it so everyone will focus on Jayce.

Crosshairs and Hound aren't sure if they should be happy J.R. is eating — even if it's oatmeal — or concerned she's clingy since she won't let go of Crosshairs even if he'd be sitting next to her.

I don't like this, J.R., you're hiding emotional struggle again. Crosshairs worries.

Crosshairs gets J.R. to watch T.V. with Bumblebee so he can check on Drift and Jayce.

"No way she's not struggling mentally," Hound comments as the two walk down the hall.

"No, and you know she'll refuse to tell us anything," Crosshairs sighs.

Hound goes back to Bee and J.R. while Crosshairs walks into Jayce's room.

Both his friends are still asleep; he sits on his bed thinking about what can help Jayce and J.R.
