IT IS I! …. me. Wow, it has been a long time since I've done this. I hope you guys have caught up with "The Mandalorian and her Jedi", or you will be very lost as to what is happening here. For those who have been caught up, 1 I changed the padawans' name to Mai and Yui, 2 there is another theme with the titles. Let's see who figures it out first. So, without further delay, let's get riiiigggghhhhtttt into the memes!

Made of Scars

Life seemed to be looking up for Yui and Mai. They had both been taken under the wing of Jedi Knight Ezra Bridger and were on their way back to Krownest to begin their training. Mai claimed she never knew much of her childhood. Yui on the other hand, stayed quiet when asked about her time before the temple. Ezra decided it was best to talk to her when they reached Krownest.

As if on cue the com beeped. "Gauntlet, we have your approach. Proceed to landing pad 4 near the stronghold." A voice came over the com.

"Alright you two, we're here. You might want to put on some warmer clothes, the climate here is totally different from Yavin." Ezra told his new padawans as they walked back into the cargo hold to change.

"What's wrong Yui?" Mai asked her friend.

"Nothing, just nervous." Yu looked down at the grey durasteel floor.

"Hey, this won't be like when you were little. Master Bridger and his family won't hurt you." Mai offered a hand on her shoulder.

Little did the two notice, Ezra had heard the entire conversation. He knew that Yui was always quiet about her past, but now he had an idea why. She had a rough childhood before she was brought to the temple. A memory passed into his head as he meditated.

"Battles leave scars, some you can't see." The words of his former master rang in his head.

"Well, I guess I will have to work with her and help her from her past." Ezra sighed to himself as he retrieved his own bag from his quarters. He walked back to the cargo hold to find both girls shivering from the air coming in from the open ramp. "See, I told you it was different."

"Yea, well, you never said it was freezing here." Mai complained. Yui stayed silent.

"I never said it wasn't freezing either." Ezra chuckled as he led them to where he had left his speeder. He started it up and loaded the girls and their belongings. The radio came to life not long after he started towards his home. After many years of listening to the same band over and over, Ezra finally took the time and searched the holo net for a new band.

"Master, what is this music?" Yui piped up for the first time since they landed.

"It is something I picked up from an old friend. I have not had a chance to tell you much about my life. I promise, I will talk to you about my life when you have had a chance to settle in." He offered as the radio played and the engines hummed.

As they drove Yui started to listen closer to the lyrics of the music. The song spoke of scars of the past and the cause behind each one. "This one was my father's, and this one you can't see. This one had me scared to death, but I guess I should be glad I'm not dead." The voice over the radio seemed to resonate with Yui, as a tear left her eye. Mai caught on quick.

"Uh, Master? Can we please change the song? This one isn't that good." Mai spoke up, trying to help her friend without revealing her past.

"Sure Mai." Ezra sensed her fears and said nothing. He fiddled with the dials for a second and a more upbeat song came on. "Is this one better?"

"Yes, thank you." Mai replied, smiling. The speeder came to a stop and the front door of the small house was almost thrown off of its hinges.

"Daddy, Daddy, you're home!" Mira yelled as she raced out of the house, Anna and Celeste not far behind her.

"Hey there little ones." He leaned down and picked up Anna as Celeste held one leg and Mira got the other. "Have you three been behaving for Mommy?"

"Yes, Daddy." Came the chorus of voices.

"If by 'behaving' you mean not meditating when they need to." Sabine chastised walking out the door. She had grown a small bit in the time Ezra was away, enough to bring her into her 3rd month. "You must be the new padawans I've heard so much about." She offered a kind smile to the two teen girls.

"Yes ma'am, I am Mai. This is Yui." Mai smile back, Yui flashed a small smile.

"Well come on inside, let's get you two settled in."

"Thank you." With that, Mai, Yui and Sabine went back inside.

"I hope you don't mind sharing a room, it's the best we could do on short notice." Sabine said.

"No ma'am." Yui piped up again. "We have grown up together. I don't think sharing a room will be a problem."

"Great. Well, I am going to go and greet my husband. You two feel free to whatever food or drinks you would like in the kitchen. The refresher is down the hall and to the left." Sabine walked out the room and outside with her husband and children. She walked out the door and found her daughters trying to force Ezra into the snowbank near the house. "You guys. Why am I the only adult around here?"

"Because love, you are the oldest." Ezra chuckled.

"I'm older by a year so really we are even." She punched his shoulder.

"Okay, okay. We're even." He laughed as he proceeded to gently drop her into a snow drift.

"Great, now thanks to you, I need a shower." Sabine smirked and walked back in the house.

Back Inside

"So, Yui. How are you liking this so far?" Mai asked her friend and fellow padawan.

"It's really nice here. Having Master Bridger's children here reminds me of the temple. Hopefully he won't be too tough on us." Yui said with a sigh. Mai knew what she was getting at.

"He won't hurt you Yu Yu. If anything, he will treat us like his own children." Mai embraced her young companion and held her a minute.

"I'm going to go get a shower. Maybe that will take my mind off of things." Yui grabbed some clothes out of her bag and went to the refresher. She took off her shirt and stared at herself in the mirror.

At that exact moment, Sabine walked in behind her.

"Oh, Yui. I'm sorry I did-", she stopped when she saw the girl's back. "Yui dear, what happened."

Yui's back was covered in scar tissue. Long scars, short scars, some resembled belt lashes, others looked like glass cuts. Yui was quick to turn around in an attempt to hide her past from her new family. However, the mirror behind her kept it on display.

"I-I.." she started to tear up and Sabine moved over to her and wrapped her in a comforting hug.

"It's okay. I won't tell Ezra if you don't want me to." Sabine held the trembling girl as she cried. "However, it is probably best if you talked to him about it." Yui looked up, tears down her cheeks.

"I can't. Not yet. I don't want to anger him."

"Sweetie, he won't be angry. He has nothing to be angry at you for. He cares for you and Mai like you're his own children. I can see it in his eyes." She paused to let the young girl gather herself. "I can be there with you, if you want me to."

"Thank you, Lady Sabine." Yui said in a trembling voice.

Sabine chuckled. "Lady Sabine is so formal. Please, call me Sabine. Or you can call me mother, if that feels more fitting."

"Okay, Mrs. Sabine. It would take a while before I could call you mother." She smiled lightly.

"That's just fine Yui. Now, I interrupted you from taking a shower. So, by all means go ahead."

"Yes, ma'am."

Sabine walked out of the room and back out into the main living area. There she found Ezra on the couch watching the holonet.

"The hunt still continues for the rogue Sith assassin Ezra Bridger and his accomplice, Sabine Wren. Both once heroes of the Rebellion now have turned against the New Republ-" The newscaster announced, before Ezra shut it off.

"Ugh, Wren-Bridger. I swear, they never get that right." Sabine chuckled as she plopped down on the couch next to him.

"Hey you." Ezra chuckled at her comment and pulled her close.

"Ezra, what do you know about Yui?"

"Nothing more than she has told me. Which in retrospect, wasn't a whole lot. Why? Is there something I need to know?"

"She needs to talk to you. I promised her that I won't tell you anything until she's ready." With that Sabine stood. "Now, to bed. I have missed you and I think he missed you too."

"Hmmm. You seem sure it's a boy." He laughed.

"Well considering how many girls we have around here, it only seems fair that we get a boy."

"Makes sense to me." He smiled, knowing that she was right. Not just in her logic, but in her prediction. However, he said nothing. He wanted her to be surprised when the day came.

This is a dump of extra chapters I had saved up. Figured I'd treat you guys for May 4th. I can't promise anything else anytime soon.
