Chapter 5: A new start [part 2]
Byakuya remembered how Rukia had fallen on the ground, as he unleashed his riatsu towards the youngest Shiba, who had tried to rescue her, when he would not.
And self-anger came over him.
Why did he do that?!
Was he so blinded with his beliefs and principles, that he no longer cared that he was hurting the one he loves the most?
At this thought, Byakuya fell into deep self evaluation. As he review his way of thinking.
For it needs to be calibrated, seeing as his old ways won't be working as efficiently as before.
Before the Ryoka taught them a lesson.
About change and acceptance.
While he was immersed in his own mind, he heard a faint knock on his bedroom door.
Curious.
For no one, aside from the servants, are allowed to come to his room, after his wife had passed away. And he did not call for anyone.
"It's Rukia, Nii-sama" the soft voice called from behind his door.
This causes his heart to beat wildly in his chest.
Why would she enter my room?
Byakuya could not help but wonder in controlled excitement, illogical.
Silence met Rukia's introduction, as she felt like, she had overstepped some personal boundaries.
Maybe she's not allowed to visit him in his room?
She thought worriedly, as she contemplates her next action.
"You may enter, Rukia" Byakuya called out, as he tries to hide the nervousness in his voice.
As though, he was still the young man that had fallen madly in love with her idealization…
The person whose image he treasured in his heart, for all those years.
Now standing inside his room, serving him his food with adorable blush on her beautiful and cheerful face.
He could not believe his fate.
To be continued….
