Hunter was still in his cage and tried to find a way out. He tried to use the crystal that the Dream Weaver gave him to lock pick the cage, but it couldn't go in there. He sighed and put it back in his pocket. He sat down and rested his back on the bars of his prison.

"I should be much more worried than that," he admitted.

He guessed it was because he knew his friend would come to save him soon enough. He had full faith in Spyro. On the plus side, the young dragon also had his dads by his side. The dragons were much tougher than anyone could expect. He didn't have to panic about it.

Still, he wished he could get out of there soon. The Sorceress might change her mind and it might be over for him very soon. He took a deep breath and gazed at the door.

"I hope you'll visit soon Bianca," he wanted to convince her that she was doing the wrong thing. He knew that she wasn't evil. What she told him wasn't a lie. He could tell that the Sorceress was evil at first sight.

No one came for him. No one brought any food either. He was starving right now. His tail looked tasty for a second. Thankfully, he wasn't hallucinating… Yet.

Chapter 51: Bentley's Outpost

The dragons and Bentley jumped outside of the portal that led to his realm. They landed on the ground and looked around.

It was a large field of snow and ice. There were many hills covered with snows, houses that were either made of woods, rocks or sculpted in the ice.

There were many Rhynocs present with their weapons out, ready to fight any potential danger. They were ready to fight any intruders.

The dragons saw a few Yetis in cages with guards surrounding them.

"They invaded my realm. They never did that before," Bentley grunted as he closed his hand. He hit the ground with his club, "They are going to pay for this."

The three dragons nodded and stood by his side, "Of course they will pay. In gems," Bubba chuckled after he said those words.

Bruno sighed, "Yeah. We paid gems to save you, but that's not the point. We need to save everyone and find the eggs."

Halvor chuckled, "Of course," he played a little with his hammers.

The chubby dragon ordered, "Let's go!"

The purple dragon wanted to deny that order, but knew it was in the heat of the moment, "Yes. You brutish Peace Keeper."

The brown dragon pouted and wanted to say something nasty, but Halvor already flew away with Bubba.

The yeti was the only behind as he couldn't fly.

The dragons charged with their weapons out and ready to fight the bad guys in their way. Halvor landed on the ground, in front of a group of three Rhynocs. More were around him, but they were too far to quickly attack him, "Hello there," he waved at them, before smashing them with his hammer.

They flew in the air before they disappeared in the snow. The purple dragon chuckled as he blocked the ice sword of another one, "My hammer might be heavy, but it's pretty light for me," he chuckled before he pushed him back.

The dragon jumped back and avoided more coming at him. His feet slid on the ground and blocked more weapons coming at him.

Bubba came by his side and punch one away. He gazed at the other one, "Do all Peace Keepers like to go in the middle of the enemies and fight them?" he grabbed another one and threw him in the air and landed on another one.

"Yeah. We get their attentions," he replied.

A giant snowball appeared and felt in a Rhynoc. Bentley waved at the two dragons before he jumped and joined them with his club in his hand, ready to be used, "You went ahead before me. I need to check if the others are alright."

"I'm sure Bruno can check on him, right?" Halvor asked the brown dragon.

The leader of the Beast Keepers landed on the ground and held his staff, "I'm not sure. I do see a bit of magic at the top of the hill. I'm not that much of a fighter like you two."

"We can see that Bruno," the blue dragon chuckled when the other one slapped his back with his tail.

The four saw more Rhynocs coming at them. They waited for the enemies to come and they began to beat each of them.

Humanoid rhinoceros flew everywhere as one powerful hit by the dragons and the yeti was too much for the unprepared warriors.

Bruno casted a few spells and the group turned against them. The bad guys slid on the slippery ground and ice suddenly raised to trap their ankles. He made them defenceless.

It wasn't long before they finished the others.

The four panted.

The purple dragon smiled, "And done with them."

"We are still far from the eggs. Those aren't the elite warriors," Bentley pointed at those on the ground and those whose face were stuck in the rocks of the hill or the trees. He then continued towards the top of the hills.

"Let's go," Bruno said.

The dragons followed him on foot, as they knew little of their environment. They traversed a small cavern that led higher in the hill. They were outside of the cavern and encountered little resistance. The enemies were retreating for now. The four were uncertain of the reason, but it wasn't good. It was all that they knew.

The dragons gazed at the horizon and realised they weren't on a hill, but on a mountain. It explained why it was very cold. The flame in their stomach maintained their warm, but they knew humans and others wouldn't handle the cold.

They pressed forward. They got close to the Yeti village when they stopped. In front of them, the Rhynocs stood in their way.

They were armed with crossbows and others were armed with spears. They were ready to fight the dragons and the Yeti.

"Where is everyone?" Bentley ordered an answer.

The soldiers serving the Sorceress didn't reply. They waited for their superior to give his order.

"You think we will answer that?" someone replied. Demitrious walked towards them. He looked annoyed or enraged, "Since you came here, you are destroying everything the Sorceress made. The lands she possessed are now foolishly fighting against her. Now, they are going to die because you gave them a reason to fight for their 'freedom'. You are also destroying my reputation," he drew a long sword and glared at them, "I will personally handle you here and now. We will fight until one of us is dead. You are only dragons. You think you are above us, but you are below."

The four were ready to fight his army.

"And be careful, something might happen in your village Bentley. They could die if you help the dragons," he chuckled.

Bentley paled under his fur. He didn't know what happened to everyone.

"Stand back. We will handle them," Halvor said.

Bruno passed near him and whispered, "Once the action gets intense Bentley, you go and get everyone out of here."

The yeti took a few steps back. He wasn't part of the battle.

Bubba punched his palm, "I think I'll take care of that… whoever that Rhynocs who talks too much is."

"I am Demitrious! One of the elite warriors of the Sorceress! I killed many citizens who disobeyed her to reach this rank. Even my own kind who didn't fully obeyed her."

"You are just a bastard," the portly dragon grunted back at him.

The purple dragon chuckled, "I will enjoy breaking his face with my hammer."

"Called dibs on that big mouth jerk," the blue dragon said. He cracked his knuckles, "It's a bastard that needs to be go down by a Beast Maker. It would hurt his ego much more than a Peace Keeper."

His leader didn't disagree. He wasn't a fighter like the others. He can kick some tails, but not as great as them. He was the best at creating beast and with his magic.

"Charge!" the leader of the Rhynocs ordered.

The Rhynocs charged.

The three were ready to welcome them. The battle quickly went chaotic as Bubba split from the others and went right at Demitirious. Bubba blocked the sword with his hands and deflected it away. He smirked at the Rhynocs before he punched him away.

The evil Rhynoc quickly jumped back on his feet and avoided the flame from the other dragon. He quickly countered with his sword. He swung it and ice shards went towards him.

The blue dragon avoided most of them, but one scratched his scales and made him winced, "A magic sword hum? Won't be enough," he cautiously said as he casted a spell. He increased the solidity of his scales as he charged once again.

Meanwhile, the two other dragons handled the soldiers well. Bruno remained on the back and casted a few spells, commanding the ice to raise from the ground. He created chaos among the enemy ranks and forced them to fight on their own.

Halvor smashed any of those who came too close with his hammer. He attacked way too fast for them to dodge him. He was also too strong and they all flew away, even when their shields were up.

Bruno casted a defensive spell when bolts came towards them. One passed the barrier and went in the gut of the brown dragon, "Damn!" it didn't go deep as he quickly took it out.

"Being fat saved your life Bruno," the purple dragon chuckled as he threw one of the bad guys at one of the Rhynocs who had a crossbow.

"Seems like you never met Magnus before," the other dragon grunted as he quickly stopped the bleeding.

"I met him and… yeah. You aren't that chubby," Halvor let out a sad sighed as he sent more of the flying in the sky.

Meanwhile, Bentley took his chance and slowly disappeared from everyone sight. With his white fur, it was easier to disappear among the snow as he went to save his kind from the servant of the Sorceress. He knew that if he was seen, his kind would be in danger. His family was also in trouble if he was caught. He slowly walked toward his home. He jumped behind a large rock when some of the Rhynocs were too close to his licking. He waited and trusted his instinct. He knew that when he wouldn't feel the danger, he would charge.

The dragons continued the fight. Bruno avoided a few bolts from the other bad guys. He countered with his best ice spell and flattened the Rhynocs under it and more to prevent them from firing more bolts at him and the two other dragons. The brown dragon smirked for a few seconds, but that went away when three of them jumped at him. He jumped back, but got scratched on his left, "That will teach me to drop my guard," he whispered.

Halvor quickly went to the rescue of the other dragon and sent them away, "Got no joke for you. You are fighting good for a non-fighter dragon," he gazed back for a second, blocking the next Rhynoc without looking with his tail and punching him towards the sky.

"I can learn a thing or two from Peace Keepers," Bruno replied before casting another spell and creating more ice. He turned towards Bubba and knew that his battle wasn't as easy as the buffed dragon thought.

Bubba continued his duel against Demitrious. He wasn't making any little jokes now. He saw that he was against a powerful opponent. He dodged the sword coming at his neck or any of his vitals. He jumped back when the blade almost hit his chest. He tried a few punches and kicks. He couldn't reach him. He managed to grab the wrist of the Rhynoc and punched him on his chest. The blue dragon painfully grumbled when the bones of his hand bend a little. He took a few steps back. He knew the armor was really hard.

Demitrious chuckled as he charged once again. He slashed with his sword and scratched the chest of his enemy, "Dragons will fall!" he was ready to impale him when ice shard felt form the sky and blocked his sword when he tried to kill the dragon. He lost his balance by the impact. He didn't have time to recover before a blow on his face sent him away. He rolled on the ground and grunted at him.

"It's over Demitrious!" Bentley suddenly yelled at him.

The Rhynoc turned around and saw the Yeti with the others, ready to attack him and the remaining of his soldiers. He already knew that victory was already lost. He didn't know how the furry fool managed to pass his guard and his soldiers' vigilance. He glared at the dragons, "This isn't over. You aren't victorious and won't defeat The Sorceress! You are only making your life worse!"

Bentley put his club on his shoulder and replied, "Living under The Sorceress is not worth living! We know that chasing the dragons away cause the drop in magic! We aren't blind Demitrious!"

The Rhynocs began to be a little nervous as they were overwhelmed by the enemies. They searched for a way to escape.

Demitrious gave his order, "Everyone! Retreat!" it was his only option.

His soldiers followed him and they escaped from the Yeti's who went after them.

The dragons sighed in relief. They weren't certain if they could keep fighting until the end.

They wondered what would come next. Bubba knew that Demitrious was more dangerous than expected from their previous encountered. The blue dragon dreaded to imagine what would happen if Spyro tried to fight that Rhynoc.

AC: This is the end of this chapter.

Next: The Monster To End All Monsters

The Sorceress had enough and sent the monster to eliminate the dragons once and for all. Can Spyro and his family overcome this?
