Pahkitew Gone Wild Part 3
Last time on total drama Tyranny of the masses, the 5th blast from the past challenge has started. This time our campers need to catch an animal and bring it to the center of the island. But there is a twist, they need to catch and bring it to their own cage without hurting them too much. Yes, it doesn't have a great twist, but the challenge is fun enough.
With less than 4 hours left, only 1 of the remaining 11 players has brought their prey to the center and got that sweet immunity. The rest are either lost on the island or playing Total Friendship Island and helping their enemies complete the challenge.
What will happen next? How many of the remaining 10 will get that immunity? And who will be the unlucky one that will get a ticket for the chopper of shame tonight? Find out next on Total Drama: Tyranny of the Masses.
"C'mon, we're already here. Only some more hops, and I'll give you the carrot," said Sammy to the small bunny that was following her (more precisely, it was following the carrot on her hand.)
After being near the cages, she stopped and let the bunny began to gnaw the carrot. Sammy lifted it and put it with its food inside the one with the word bunny on it.
She then heard some claps behind her. "Congratulations, good job capturing it."
Sammy turned and found Cody cheering for her. This provoked some conflicted feelings in the younger twin. Because even if Cody seemed like a good guy and everything, she still felt guilty about accidentally voting for him during the 10th challenge. (well, it wasn't accidentally, but it was a complicated situation.)
But lucky for her, it seemed like the brunette guy didn't know about that.
"Thanks," replied Sammy in a lower tone than her usual. "Also, congratulations on finishing the challenge. What did you catch?"
"A squirrel," said Cody pointing at a small cage. He then flustered, looking at Sammy's neutral expression, "It was harder than it seems. That squirrel was really smart and vicious."
Inside the cage, the small blue squirrel uttered something really offensive in its language and then flipped the bird at the younger twin.
"Definitely seem like a bothersome challenge," said Sammy frowning at the rude squirrel.
Cody nodded, "but at least it's already done. Now, if you excuse me," he then began to walk into the forest.
"I'll also take my leave," replied the younger twin, following him. "I hope to find Duncan."
"Duncan?" asked Cody in a surprised tone.
Sammy made a sheepish smile. "Yes, I want to help him capture his animal."
"Sorry, but we can't let you do that," a third voice interrupted their dialogue. It was Chris McLean. "So please, come with me to watch the rest of your opponents trying to get their prey. I assure you it'll be amazing."
"What? Why?" asked the twin in a distressed tone.
The host made a mocking smile. "Because we're in the merge, remember? The team phase ended a week ago. So come with me, or I'll have to revoke your immunity."
Sammy stomped her foot in the ground and went behind Chris. Cody followed them with a worried expression.
They sat alongside the host and Chef in front of multiple screens that showed the remaining 9 players around the island.
"Hey! They're helping each other all over the challenge. Why can't we also help them?" asked Cody frowning.
Chris tsked and waved his finger. "It's not the same. Those fools are risking their immunity while helping an enemy. On the other hand, you two already have the immunity, so you aren't risking anything to help your peers. So give up and enjoy the spectacle."
Cody sighed sadly, and Sammy folded her arms while watching the other competitors trying to complete the challenge.
Confessional: Cody
"Ok, I want to apologize to Heather because I told her I would help to catch her beaver, and now it's impossible. At least she's working with Charlotte, so I hope she can win the immunity, or I'll have to hear her complaining A LOT the next few days," said Cody while tugging the neck of his shirt. "I hope she doesn't do anything more than complain."
On the lower left screen, the image showed Charlotte and Heather at the beaver's dam. The e-gamer had a bag with the seagull tied to her belt. They were watching the place from afar, some beavers at the top of it squinting at them.
"Those pesky beasts are still cautious about us. I'm afraid if we try to come closer to them, they will attack," said Heather in an annoyed tone. "Any idea of how to catch them?"
The dark-skinned girl just nodded, watching around the dam and then at the beavers. It was tricky because there were at least 3 of them and probably many more inside the dam. How could they beat this scenario without losing 1-ups? Then she had an idea.
"We need to change our strategy. To beat this game, we need to single one of them," said Charlotte drawing some circles in the dirt. "After all, they're mobs. Taking care of one of them should be simple enough."
Heather made a monumental effort to NOT roll her eyes. Why did nerds love to say obvious things? "That's a great idea. Now we just need to think of a way to get one of them."
"It's easy. Just walk closer to the big one over there," said Charlotte with a smirk on her face.
"Are you telling me to catch it? I already tried, and it's dangerous," replied the Queen Bee raising an eyebrow.
The e-gamer shook her head. "Trust me, we'll just play with its agro. For now, just go and stay 4 or 5 steps away from it."
The Asian girl wasn't sure what Charlotte was saying and also didn't want to come closer to the beaver, but she didn't have any other option. So she walked toward the animal, which kept its eyes on Heather all the time.
"I hope for that girl's own good that she had some kind of plan," said Heather under her breath while glaring at the rodent.
Suddenly a stone flew and impact the beaver on the head. The animal hissed and rubbed a big lump that appeared soon where it was hit. Heather panicked and began to run as the beaver chased after her.
"THAT TREACHEROUS GEEK! Just wait until I put my hands on her," shouted Heather as she ran faster and faster, hearing the growls of the beaver after her.
With a speed and agility that even surprised herself, the Queen Bee jumped over a big tree and turned to face her chaser.
But to her surprise, the beaver was awkwardly chasing her. It was growling and cursing but wasn't running as quickly as she expected.
"What is it doing?" asked the Queen Bee raising an eyebrow.
Then something tied to the beaver's neck. It was a leather collar with a chain.
"It seems I caught one. Sadly, I didn't have a Pokeball, but I think this will be good enough," said the dark-skinned girl, pulling the poor animal that began to walk behind her with a defeated expression.
Heather jumped down the tree and hurried next to her, shouting while glaring. "You Traitor! How dare you to use me as bait!"
Charlotte pulled the beaver that hissed and continue walking awkwardly behind them. Heather cowered and walked faster to stay one step in front of the gamer.
"Don't worry, you got the aggro, and I got the monster. It's a basic strategy I have tried a lot of times. Also, it's your prey, so it was only fair for you to play as the decoy," replied the e-gamer, smiling with a nonchalant attitude.
Heather opened the mouth and closed it again. There was no use in kept discussing with her. After all, she was right. They got her prey. Now she should go back to the camp and got the immunity. The rest didn't matter.
Confessional: Heather
The Asian girl was biting her thumb and looked annoyed at the camera. "That geek is bothersome, but she can make a fine ally, especially as I need some throwaway votes. But I don't want to cooperate with that freak. Ugh! The sacrifices I need to make to get the million."
Confessional: Charlotte
"It's my first time working with the Queen Bee, and she doesn't seem like a pro gamer. Maybe I can party with her and Topher to eliminate Amy, Lilly, and Brick from the game. The question is if I can work with her knowing she'll betray me, or if it's not worth the risk," Charlotte said, rubbing her chin and with a thoughtful expression.
Topher was looking in the nth cave near the mountains, but he didn't have any luck. There weren't any tracks of the giant gophers. He sighed and sat in a cave to think about his next steps.
Maybe I can dig and try to find a tunnel? Yeah, because I'm so good at digging. Thought the host wannabe. Why it must be so hard? If I at least had a shovel or other kind of tool.
He threw one of the carrots he brought to hunt the giant animal. His plan wasn't a bad one. He tied a handful of carrots with his belt to attract the giant gopher. It would be as easy as fishing, and least in theory. But he needed to find one of the mutants.
Then it hit him. He had a tool that could help him in the challenge if he dared to use it.
Topher ran back to the woods at the forest entrance, in which he and Charlotte hid their secret the last time they used it. There carefully, he took Max's contraption and connected it to a rock.
The rest was a routine. Topher turned off the cameras and began to look in the folder for any clue about where he could find the giant gophers. He didn't know a lot about how it worked, he only used some programs that Charlotte made, but they worked like a charm.
And he found it. There was one inside the tunnel in which they found Chris. To reach it, he needed to explore inside a cave on the hidden side of the mountain. He never thought to look there.
In a smooth movement, the host wannabe pushed the program to activate the cameras, turned off the contraption, and put it again inside the tree. The program magically turned on the cameras after a minute or so. Enough time to disappear from that place before anyone (Chris or intern) could notice.
Why I didn't think about this at the beginning? Thought the host wannabe as he ran to the cave. It was huge, dark, and ominous. He felt a shiver down his spine, but he needed to win not only for himself but also for Sammy, who needed his vote.
Then he gulped, took the belt with the carrots, and throw it into the darkness, pulling it slowly.
The ground began to tremble, and the rumbling sound made him smile nervously. It was time to prove if his plan was as good as he hoped.
In the east part of the forest, Courtney was pulling a troller with a trashbin over it. Coming out from the bin was a shark's tail. Brick was walking beside her with an amused expression.
"Ma'am, are you sure you don't need help with that?" asked the cadet, hoping the Latin girl would give up this time.
"I already told you I'm fine," replied Courtney huffing and puffing. She stopped and dried the sweat from her forehead. "You should worry instead about finding the raccoon."
Brick nodded. She seemed angry but still insisted on helping him catching the raccoon. Her attitude was different from before, but he didn't hate it.
Once in the forest, Brick dug a hole, covered it with branches, and put a marshmallow over them. Then he hid with Courtney behind a tree.
"I can't believe you built that trap so fast," said the Latin girl, blinking a couple of times.
"In the academy, they taught us a lot about non-lethal techniques to hinder our enemies," said Brick in a proud tone.
Courtney smirked, "I can understand that, but where did you get the marshmallow?"
"I found it on the art and craft center and thought that maybe I would need the extra sugar. As they said, caution is forearmed," replied the cadet, but he became silent after hearing a noise.
As they expected, a raccoon found the marshmallow, and after look at left and right, it advanced to take it and fell into the trap.
"YES!" shouted Courtney, hugging an excited Brick. After an awkward second, both got away from each other, blushing.
"I'll go and retrieve the target, ma'am," said Brick, stuttering a little.
Courtney nodded absentmindedly. Why was she so happy? Probably it was just because she wanted to repay his kindness.
Brick crouched and looked at the angry raccoon trying to climb out of the pit. The small mammal began to chitter audibly while looking fiercely at the cadet.
"Sorry friend, I need to bring you with me. It'll be only for a few hours," said Brick while grabbing it.
The raccoon tried to claw and bite him, but Brick in a couple of movements tied its legs and muzzle it.
"Ready to go ma'am, thanks for your help. We can finish our mission," said the cadet, saluting.
But Courtney stood up and blanched pointing at him. "Stop talking and run!"
Brick began to hear many chitters and growls behind him. He gulped and began to run as fast as he could, not looking back
Behind him, a big gaze of raccoons began to chase them. Courtney took her trolley and also began to run, but the raccoons were coming closer and closer.
"It seems we messed with the wrong raccoons, ma'am," said Brick, running with a worried expression. "I don't think both of us can escape."
"You're right. There is no way we can outrun them," said Courtney in an ominous tone.
Inside the trash can, the shark woke up. It was still dazed after what happened. It was dark, and he couldn't move freely. The last thing the shark remembered was eating something rot, so rot that it knocked him out.
But it didn't matter. His tail was still free, so he would trash his way out and make whoever put him there pay dearly.
Then the shark felt a sudden movement. Something pulled him out of the darkness and off the water. The sun hurt his eyes. The shark panicked as he was slammed against a myriad of small and strange furry critters. After two hits, it fell again blissfully unconscious. It seems his revenge will have to wait.
At the same time, Brick watched with a scared expression how Courtney used the poor shark as a weapon and began to slam it against the raccoons like a bat. The poor critters flew everywhere as she savagely hit them left and right.
Some raccoons began to stand in the shoulders of other raccoons as if trying to get together in a battle formation, but Courtney also slammed them. After a few minutes that seemed like hours for the raccoons, it was over.
Courtney put the shark again in the trash can and dried the sweat from her forehead, her hair disheveled. "Ufff, it was harder than I expected."
"Well done ma'am," said Brick still astonished (And frightened) at the spectacle. "But it was necessary to use so much force?"
"In the wild might makes right. If you doubt you'll lose. Also, I didn't hit them so hard," said Courtney nonchalantly, pushing the trolley.
Brick looked at the scene, with raccoons knocked out everywhere, some over the trees and others were driven into the ground. "I think the show may have some problems with the PETA[1] after this."
"That will be Chris's problem for using them in the challenge, not ours," replied Courtney making a smug smile. "I read the contract carefully, so don't worry, we have to make haste to the center."
Brick nodded and walked behind her, still shocked about what he just saw.
Confessional: Brick
"I must admit that Courtney is a mystery to me. I wanted to find more about her after listening to some details of her childhood. But today, I realize how little I know about her. Before helping her, I need to take my time to know her better," said the cadet nodding seriously while folding his arms.
This was a nightmare. It has to be. He was still sleeping in his bed, waiting for the damn new challenge today.
But the scratches in his hands and the spit falling in his face from the ferret's growls (because the damn thing was growling) make him realize he was awake.
Duncan threw it and slammed it against a tree, but the white polecat fell on its feet and glared back at him with its only eye.
"So you're still mad about what happened the other day, eh? You're a sore loser," said Duncan, wincing from the pain in his hands.
The problem was how to caught it without damaging it. The last time the headbutt worked, but he lost the point. This time he needed to be smarter.
Duncan began to walk around the ferret, who also began to advance, looking for an opening.
The white-furred animal pounced again against the punk, but this time Duncan avoided it rolling through the ground.
"If I knew it was you, I would look for something useful to hunt you, like a grenade or something," said Duncan as the ferret turned and hissed at him again.
Then he looked back and behind them was the lake, this gave him an idea.
Duncan put out his tongue at the ferret. "For an ugly rat, you're too full of yourself. I think I'll just forget about the competition and made a bag from your ugly fur."
The ferret's lips tremble from anger. It was a mustelid, not a rat. So it decided to give a lesson to the human with grass-like hair.
The one-eyed ferret jumped and tried to bit Duncan again, but he caught it, and both fell into the lake.
"You fell in my trap, ugly puppy. Let's see if you're still so rude after drowning a little!" said Duncan submerging the ferret in the water and keeping it down, waiting for it to stop struggling.
But the ferret had more stamina than he expected, and after a lot of biting, slashing, and yapping, Duncan smiled triumphantly. It wasn't what he expected, but he was ready to go back with his prize.
Confessional: Duncan
He was sitting and glaring at the camera, with his arms resting down out of view. "The situation didn't work as I expected, but at least I caught that little monster. Now I just have to take it to its cage and hello immunity." He then lifted his right arm. The white ferret was tied to his arm, biting it. "I only hope it doesn't have rabies or something."
In the forest, Amy was walking around the lake trying to find her prey, it was already late, and she was getting nervous.
There are no crocodiles here. Damn Samey, if I lose, it'll be her fault. Worst of all is that she doesn't appreciate everything I do for her," thought the older twin while searching.
Then she found it, hiding in the mud was a big green crocodile. It was perfect. Now she only needed to capture it and take it with her.
But how? It was bigger than she expected, and it could be dangerous if it bites her. She was too pretty to end as the dinner of an ugly oversized gecko.
Then she had an idea. Amy you're a genius, thought the older twin, looking for a stone big enough to hit her prey.
That beast had short legs, like the delinquent, so it can't run too fast. If I provoke it and run away, I can guide it all the way to the center. Thought Amy as she found the perfect rock.
So she took it and throw it with all her strength against the head of the unsuspecting lizard.
The crocodile glared at her with a big lump on her head. But the twin underestimated the speed of her prey. The beast sprinted quickly against the now terrorized twin.
"WHAT, WHY!?" shouted the twin as she ran away from the crocodile. The beast tried to bite her but luckily only tore her skirt.
Amy didn't look back and in a swift movement jumped and held to a high branch of a nearby tree.
But the crocodile just stood below the branch, the animal eyes were full of tears while glaring at her.
"What are you waiting for? I'm not an apple. I'll not fall over your head so you can eat me, so SHOO," shouted the twin.
Sadly the crocodile ignored her and instead tied a napkin bib around her neck while waiting to eat the twin.
"Great, just great," said Amy while holding tighter to the branch. "HELP! ANYONE CAN HEAR ME? A beautiful and young lady is about to become a dessert! HELP!"
Back into the camp, Sammy and Cody were looking with distress at the scene.
"The crocodile's a robot, right? She isn't in real danger?" asked Sammy, her eyes fixed in the host.
Chris just shrugged. "Maybe, but don't worry, I'm sure even if she falls, she'll be ok."
"How can you be so sure?" asked Sammy, putting a hand over her chest.
"Trust me, in 6 seasons, we never had an accident in a challenge. It's a calculated risk," said Chris making a mocking smile.
Cody raised an eyebrow, glaring at the host. "Really? I remember being eaten by a shark and mauled by a bear, and the show didn't do anything. In fact, Sierra saved me from the shark. Sadly I wasn't so lucky with the bear."
"Ok, ok, don't be so dramatic. If you're so worried, we'll help her, but only to save her life, not to capture the crocodile," he then turned to look at his co-host. "Chef, can you go and save the evil twin?"
"Who? ME!? Oh no, pretty boy, I'll not risk my skin to save that nasty girl. Want to save her? Go yourself!" shouted Chef folding his arms.
Chris rolled his eyes. "C'mon Chef you can't just leave her there. And also it's your job."
"MY JOB? My job is to cook for these ungrateful kids, not saving them. And I haven't been paid for my job this past month, so don't try to tell me what is MY DAMN JOB," shouted Chef threateningly pointing at Chris.
"Chill out man, I understand. There is no need to be like that," he then took out his mobile. "Steve? Please take some of the other interns and go to rescue the twin that is still in the challenge." Chris frowned angrily while listening to the intern. "No, no buts, just do it."
Cody and Sammy looked at Chris and then at each other. The younger twin just hoped her sister could escape the challenge unscathed.
Confessional: Amy
"I just want to say that I wasn't scared at all by that fashionless future bag and pair of boots. I was just acting, so my opponents underestimate me," She then huffed and folded her arms. "Ok Maybe I was a little scared, but only a little."
Topher got tired of waiting and walked inside the cavern, and then he found why the gopher ignored the carrots. The giant furless mutant was soundly sleeping. Now the question was how to capture it.
Maybe I can wake it up and guide it to the camp using the bait, thought Topher, who took the carrots tied with his belt and hit the gopher lightly in the head with it.
But the gopher didn't wake up.
The host then stepped closer and hit it again, putting a little more strength. And then he hit it a third time and a fourth. After the last hit the gopher shook its head and turned in the host direction.
Topher began to walk slowly toward the exit, pulling the carrot. The gopher sniffed the bait and began to follow it.
But Topher underestimated the mutant, who jumped and devour the carrots. The big animal then smelled into the air, angry after its rude awakening. He caught Topher's aroma and began to chase after him. The host wannabe ran with all his might, trying to escape.
"Hey! It was just a treat. I didn't know you were on a diet," Topher shouted as the giant gopher began to get closer and closer.
"*Puff* this is the moment in which the handsome protagonist got an unexpected and brilliant idea before becoming the giant blind gopher dinner," said Topher, narrating the scene. "But nothing comes to mind. I just hope it doesn't hurt my face."
The host wannabe could feel the foul breath of the gopher on his neck when suddenly something hit it. Sending the mutant flying away and crashing against a rock, falling unconscious. Topher looked back, his jaw-dropping.
"Mike? Did you just rammed my gopher with a moose?" asked Topher, not believing what he saw.
But Mike just went away on the bucking moose, shouting "HEEEEEEEEE-" and dashing away.
Topher waved at him "THANK YOU, MIKE! I OWE YOU ONE. YOU'RE THE BEST." He ignored why Mike just run away like that, but surely he has his reasons.
Unknown to the pretty boy, Mike was actually fighting and trying to tame the moose that kept jumping around wildly.
How long can this beast keep fighting? I just hope Topher heard me asking for help, thought the former multiple Mike.
Sadly the host wannabe not only didn't understand him, but he also had his own problems.
"And how I'm supposed to carry this all the way to the camp?" said Topher scratching his head.
Confessional: Topher
"Dear fans out there, remember, luck is also a skill. And today I was very lucky. I have to thank Mike later for saving me. He was just like one of those old tv heroes who ride toward the sunset after saving the day. He has what it takes to become a great actor. Maybe we can work for the same agency," said Topher at the camera, rubbing his chin.
In the forest, Lilly was walking cautiously. She found a bear's tracks and, against her best judgment, was following them.
I just hope it's a good bear. Because there are good bears, right? Thought the treehugger,
After a while, she found it. The big brown bear was sitting on the ground, his attention fixed on something in front of him.
Lilly took a deep breath and decide to try the direct approach.
"Excuse me Mr. Bear, I wanted to ask you something," asked Lilly in a polite (but low) tone, but the bear didn't pay any attention to her.
"Excuse me Mr. Bear," Lilly repeated in a louder (but still not too much) voice, but the bear ignored her.
"Mr. Bear!" said Lilly in a normal voice. The bear turned his head and squinted at her.
She blushed and cleared her throat, "Sorry to interrupt you, but I needed to ask you a favor."
The bear rolled his eyes and showed her a honey jar. He pointed and then offered it at the treehugger.
"You'll help me if I can open this jar?" asked Lilly, the bear nodding and smiling.
She took the jar. Opening it in the usual way was impossible for her if the bear couldn't do it, but luckily she had a plan.
The tree hugger took the jar and began to hit the side of the lid with a rock. "Just some small hits all around it, and it will open easily."
And after hitting it she tried to open it, but it was stuck. The bear just raised an eyebrow.
"Eh!? This is weird. Let me try again," Lilly hit the jar once again and pulled the lid, but she couldn't open it.
The bear folded his arms and frowned.
She frantically (well, as frantically as she could) hit the jar with the rock and then tried to open it one more time. Her face turned red from the effort, but it was in vain.
Lilly fell to the ground frustrated and with tears in her eyes. She gave the jar back to the bear. "Sorry, I couldn't open it after all."
The bear felt sad for her and tried to open the lid one more time, and surprisingly he could do it easily. It seemed that whatever Lilly was doing worked.
But the treehugger kept crying. The bear took some honey with his claws, slurped it, then closed the lid and stood in front of the redhead, sighing.
"Are you saying you'll help me after all?" asked Lilly, the bear nodding with an awkward smile.
"Thank you Mr. Bear," said Lilly hugging him. "I only need that you come with me to the center of the island. Can you help me?"
The bear nodded, and then both began to walk, Lilly humming joyfully.
The bear had mixed feelings. He wasn't fond of Lilly's joyful attitude and hated humans, but he should at least help her after she helped him.
Then as they were getting closer to the center of the island, they hear some shouts.
"I already told you to leave me alone. I'm not even tasty! Well maybe I am, but anyway go away."
Lilly's eyes went wide, "It's Amy's voice, and she seems to be in problems. Mr. Bear sorry but my friend is in trouble."
Confessional: Bear
The animal sighed and slapped his forehead. It didn't surprise him. NOTHING on this island worked as planned.
Lilly and the bear hastily followed the older twin's voice and found her hanging on a branch, her skirt shredded, and waiting under her was a crocodile licking her fangs.
"We need to help Amy, but how?" asked Lilly. The bear looked confused around him. Was she talking to him?
The bear sighed. Lilly's expecting eyes were all the confirmation he needed.
Then both were startled at a loud crack that came from the branch.
"Oh nonononono, it can't be breaking. I'm not so heavy," shouted Amy, as the branch began to give up. The crocodile moved away from it to avoid either the branch or her lunch falling over her head.
There was no more time to waste. So Lilly jumped out of the bushes and faced the crocodile. "Y-You, STOP BULLYING MY FRIEND! If you please."
The crocodile turned and faced Lilly, she looked more tender than the twin, so it would make a better lunch. But as it prepared to attack her, the bear stood in front of her.
Both beasts glared at each other, the crocodile was confused by the bear's presence, and the bear was trying to find out what to do.
Worse of all, none of them could talk with the other. The crocodile only talked crocodile, and the bear was fluent in bear, raccoon, and squirrel, but no lizard languages. This would be hard, and in the worst case, they would have to fight.
Lucky for both, Lilly was still trying to reason with the crocodile. "Please just come with us, and I'll try to get you something to eat. I assure you it'll be something tasty."
The crocodile looked at the bear one more time. The lizard misunderstood the bear's annoyed expression with a threatening one and decided that it wasn't worth fighting the bear for just two brats. After all, the crocodile was getting older, and her wounds take longer to heal (and let's not talk about medical expenses.)
After the lizard nodded, Lilly turned to look at Amy. "It's ok, this little one agreed to come with us."
The older twin jumped from the tree, keeping her distance from the animals. "You took your sweet time, Lilly," said Amy, the bear and the crocodile glaring at her. "Also thanks for saving me … and all that."
"Don't worry, that's what friends are for," said Lilly making a big smile.
"Augh, and now I need to go to the cabins to get a new skirt. But there is no time," protested the twin, looking at her skirt (or more correctly looking at what remained of it.
But the treehugger looked at a fern and smiled. "Don't worry, I have an idea."
Confessional: Lilly
"I'm so glad we arrived on time to help Amy. I just hope we can reach the cabins before it's too late," replied Lilly with a worried expression. "But I'm so glad Mrs. Crocodrile accepted to help us. I'm not sure what I would do if she insisted on eating Amy."
The deadline of the challenge was coming closer and closer. Six animals were already in their cages, but there were still 5 campers that hadn't arrived with their prey.
"Where are they? Everyone already got their animals," said Brick in a nervous tone.
"Can't you turn on the screens again to see where are they now?" asked Sammy, looking at the host with pleading eyes.
Chris chuckled and shrugged. "Of course I can't. This makes things a lot more interesting. It'll be a photo finish."
"I hope that stupid Dumbcan don't make it," said Heather filing her nails. "That way, we can at last eliminate him."
Courtney glared at her without realizing it but kept quiet, trying to not show she and the punk were allies.
"Don't be so harsh. He may seem like a bad apple, but he's a fine soldier," said Brick smiling. He then frowned, "ok, maybe not a fine soldier, but he is better than it seems."
The Queen Bee tossed her braid. "That's easy because he looks awful."
"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm here," replied Duncan in a snarky tone.
All the eyes went toward the forest as Duncan stepped into the cabins.
"Hehehe, Duncan, my boy, it was abou… What the hell did you do to that ferret!" Chris's mocking tone became an upset one as he saw Duncan coming from the forest. The rest of the campers gasped or chuckled at him
The delinquent had the white, one-eyed ferret biting his arm and covered in blood. Both he and the ferret had an annoyed expression.
Duncan raised his arm and showed the ferret. "This? Don't worry. The blood is mine, not of this small pest. It seems he doesn't want to let go. It must be my tasty personality."
The ferret just growled and keep its mouth closed.
"Stop wasting time and put it in a cage. There is almost no time left," ordered Courtney, pointing at the cages.
Duncan came closer to one of the cages, but the ferret refused to let go.
"If it's not in a cage, it doesn't count," replied Chris in a mocking tone.
"Are you kidding me?" asked Duncan, but the smirk on Chris' face was enough to answer him.
Then he had an idea. The delinquent entered one cage and closed the door with him inside.
"The damn ferret is inside a cage. Are you happy?" asked Duncan, crouching and resting the ferret on the ground.
Chris chuckled at this. "I can't believe you wanted to go back into jail voluntarily. Anyway, I need you to stay there until the end of the challenge."
Cody came closer to the cage, smiling. "Do you want some peanuts?"
"Fuck you Codemeister," replied Duncan smirking, "Wait, thinking about it. Yes, give me some."
As they joked, someone else came from the forest, but to Sammy's dismay, it wasn't Topher.
All of them chuckled at the scene (except Brick). Amy was using a skirt made from leaves which covered enough to not show her panties. The older twin blushed and glared at them.
"What happened, mean twin? Are you coming from Hawaii?" said Duncan in a snarky tone, showing the piercing on his tongue.
"Bite me!" replied the twin, flipping the bird at the punk.
Meanwhile, Lilly was talking with the animals to enter their cages, "Please, Mrs. crocodile, just enter for a moment."
But as the animals were entering the cages, Chris took out his loud horn and sounded it, making all the contestant cover their ears.
"Times up! Any animal that isn't inside its cage at this moment doesn't count," said Chris while smiling mockingly at the contestants. "For today's elimination, the only choices are Topher, Mike, and Lilly."
Lilly, Amy and the bear(who had a foot inside the cage) looked at Chris with shocked expressions.
"Are you stupid! Lilly basically have it inside the cage!" shouted Amy pointing at the bear, who folded his arms and nodded.
Chris wiggled his finger. "The rules said you should have the prey inside the cage at 6:00, and right now is 6:01. So suck it up."
For the forest, a disheveled Topher came pushing the unconscious giant gopher. He snapped his fingers and sighed. "Only 5 more minutes."
"Topher!" shouted Sammy running toward him, "are you ok?"
Topher hugged her, "Yes, only tired. This guy is heavier than expected."
"As much as I love this kind of sappy reunions. You don't have time for this. Meet me in 2 hours at the campfire for tonight's elimination," said Chris chuckling.
"But Mike isn't here!" shouted Amy, stomping her foot on the ground.
The host shrugged. "It's not my problem. The challenge already ended, so you can look for him. Don't worry. Even if you don't find him, we'll make sure he is at the ceremony."
The campers stood there, glaring at Chris. Tonight elimination would be one of the hardest ones. But as the campers get away to plan their vote, they forgot something in the cages.
Confessional: Charlotte
"It's a shame that traitor got immunity again. But this may be my chance to get rid of one of my enemies, and also, the challenge brought an unexpected ally. I need to think carefully about which path I need to choose to get the best ending," said Charlotte, smirking.
Confessional: Sammy
The twin was looked worried at the camera. "I know what I said before, but scratch that. Right now bringing Topher into the alliance with Heather is the best idea. We need to somehow make sure he isn't eliminated. I just hope he understands I'm doing it for him, not because I want to use him."
Confessional: Duncan
"I can't believe that twerp and Courtney just went away and leave me in that cage. Really funny. Thankfully G. notice it and return to take me out." He said, smirking, and then raised his arm, showing a white ferret biting on it. "Now I only need to find a way to get rid of this guy."
Confessional: Steve
"I know we're only interns, but we would be glad if Mr. McLean didn't forget about us. He sent us to rescue Miss Amy and didn't tell us she was already at the camp, we spend 2 hours looking for her," said the chubby intern sighing sadly.
On the treehouse, Amy, Lilly, and a tired-looking Mike were sitting while talking about today's challenge. The three were upset by the situation, but there were few things they could do.
"I can't believe I lose the immunity after taming that moose," said Mike while sighing.
"It was worse how Chris stole Lilly's immunity, but there is no use in regretting it now," said Amy, but her expression and her words didn't match at all. "Now we need to focus and get 3 more votes to eliminate Topher."
Mike looked at her, blanching, "eliminate Topher!?"
"Is that or eliminating either you or Lilly," said Amy in a harsher tone than she intended. "Augh! Ok sorry, I know he's your friend and all that, but there is no other way."
"You're right, sorry but this its so unfair," replied Mike rubbing his arm.
Lilly looked sadly at the ground. "But can we get another 3 votes?"
"STOP BEING SO NEGATIVE!" shouted Amy, "Just focus on doing your best. If we try, we got a chance. If we give up, we have no chance. So less whimpering and more acting. I'll talk with Brick. And you two try any of the old guys except Heather."
Lilly stood up quickly, and Mike made a sad smile. She was right. It was too soon to give up.
"I'll try to talk with Cody," said Lilly, her eyes full of determination.
Mike rubbed his arm. "I'll try to talk with Courtney or Duncan."
"Then let's do our best!" said Amy in an unusual cheerleader-like tone.
And then the three went to look for the remaining votes, but sadly not all of them were focused on their goal.
Confessional: Mike
"I'm not sure about this. Toph and Lilly are my friends and I don't think any deserves going home more than the other. Maybe it would be for the best if I'm the one eliminated. That way, at least I can be with Zoey again. Zoey, if you're watching this, I miss you babe," said Mike at the camera, but his sad expression contrasted with his lovely message.
Behind the cabin's Courtney and Cody were waiting for Heather. Both were tired after today's challenge.
"Today was crazy. I was surprised that you teamed up with Brick instead of Duncan," said Cody winking at her.
She was surprised by the comment. "Why were you surprised? Duncan and I aren't allies or even friends."
"But you aren't enemies either. C'mon Courtney, I'm not stupid. How many coincidences are too many coincidences?" The brunette guy made a big smile.
Luck on her side, the Latin girl was saved in the nick of time from answering that awkward question.
"I'm glad you're already here," said Heather in an excited tone. "Tonight I have with me some good news."
Courtney raised an eyebrow, and Cody tilted his head at the presence of two more people at their meeting, Topher and Sammy.
Sammy looked ashamed at the ground while Topher waved at them.
"Samantha and Christopher are joining our small club from today onwards. I think this will help us dominate the game until the best 5," said Heather tossing her braid.
Courtney looked at her coldly. "It's a good idea, but couldn't you tell us beforehand?"
"Why? Samantha was already part of our alliance before the merge. But if you don't want to team up, we can talk about it," replied Heather making a small grin.
"It's ok, don't worry," Courtney bit the inner part of her mouth. Again the queen bee turned the situation so the one who chose to team up with Sammy was Courtney. As Cody said, how many coincidences are too many coincidences?
Sammy ignored the former CIT internal drama and bowed at Cody. "I'm sorry because I'm stupid you were eliminated. I know I should apologize earlier, but I was too ashamed."
"Oh!? Don't worry. It's already in the past, and this is just a game. Someone needed to go," replied Cody, blushing at the unexpected apology.
"But it was me who misunderstood Heather's words and voted for you when I should have voted for Alejandro. And now that we're allies, I think it's better to apologize," said Sammy lowering her head as Topher rubbed her back.
Heather sighed and helped her to stand up. "Samantha, don't be so dramatic. He already said he forgave you. There is no need to feel remorseful for every tiny mistake you made in the past."
"Yes, don't worry," said Cody making finger guns at her. Courtney just stood silent while watching the whole scene.
"Then now that we're all in the same boat, let's talk about tonight elimination," said Topher sitting and the table and grooming his hair with one hand. "I think we should vote for Lilly."
Courtney nodded, "I don't have any problem, but why Lilly? I'm just curious." The Latin girl knew Mike was a more dangerous opponent but also a potential ally, so Courtney wasn't sure about eliminating him or the treehugger.
"Lilly and Amy always vote together, and Mike can align with us if Lilly and Amy are eliminated," said Topher. This was only half-true. He actually wanted to save Mike because he was his friend.
"But Mike is a more dangerous opponent," replied Cody folding his arms, "He finished 7th and 2nd on his past seasons. Shouldn't we take him down now that we have the chance?"
Sammy pushed her lips together, "You're right, but without Lilly, Amy and Mike's position will be weaker. If we go for him they'll be desperate in the next challenge and could be more of a threat" She tried to support Topher, but her argument was weak.
"I know what you're trying to do. But we need to vote out Mike now. With our five votes we can do it. Lilly is an ally of your sister but isn't as good as Mike at challenges," explained Heather in a sweet and polite tone. "Please lend us your strength."
Topher looked sadly at the table, and Sammy hugged his arm. Even if he was Mike's friend, Heather was right.
"You're right, let's vote for Mike," said Topher in a defeated tone.
Heather smiled at him, "Thanks Topher, I know it's hard for you, but it's the right thing to advance in the game."
After that, each one went their different way. Topher was sad about voting Mike. Heather was satisfied with the results of their gathering. Courtney was thinking about what happened, and Cody met an unexpected visitor who needed to talk with him about tonight's elimination.
Confessional: Courtney
The former CIT was looking at the camera, frowning. "I can't believe it but either Heather is now a nice person, or she learned to lie like an expert. The way she makes you believe it's your idea when it's her idea reminds me of Alejandro. I need to make her show her true colors, but how?
After some hours, the 11 contestants gathered at the campfire. Mike was smiling, Lilly was tapping her foot nervously, and Topher was holding Sammy's hand. The rest of the contestants were either stressed, upset or enjoying the heavy atmosphere.
The host took a deep breath and winked at them. "Tension, After my cologne and fear is the best smell before an elimination ceremony."
"Are you serious?" asked Courtney, she usually hated Chris's speeches, but this one was one of the worse by far.
"Yes, and also your Dior Fahrenheit is for old people," replied Topher, mocking Chris about his cologne.
But Chris wasn't enjoying the joke. "Ignorants, there are some fragrances that are for all people regardless of age. Anyway, you know what will happen. I have 10 marshmallows on my plate, and I'll give one to each of you. The camper that doesn't get one of these babies will have to put the vest of failure and ride the chopper of shame out of the island and can't come back EVER."
Topher looked at Mike and both friends nodded silently. It was either one of them or Lilly.
"So you can start voting now," said Chris bowing a little and pointing at the voting cabin. The remaining contestants went up and started voting. The dice were cast.
Vote confessional: Mike
"I'm not sure of what to do. I don't want to betray anyone. Who can I vote out without regretting it?" Mike looked at the pad with a sad expression, not knowing what to do.
Vote confessional: Courtney
The former CIT raised an eyebrow and took her vote. "Our 5 people alliance is a good idea for now. But I'm not naïve, this isn't our alliance, it's Heather's alliance.
Vote confessional: Brick
"I'm not sure who to vote, but Amy made a fair point about Lilly being unfairly eliminated. So I hope you don't hate me for this," said Brick lowering his eyebrows.
"I'm amazed. You really know how to put the Drama in Total Drama," said Chris making a big grin.
But then he shrugged, "Sadly this time, you don't decide who is eliminated. Tonight is the 5th DAM Elimination. So your vote doesn't count. Remember this isn't a democracy. It's a Tyranny. And the least popular contestant is…" the host made a puzzled expression before talking.

"Topher."
"NOOO!" shouted Sammy holding Topher's hand tighter.
"That can't be!" shouted Heather standing up. "Are you telling me he's less popular than the redhead or Samanta's sister!"
"HEY! Don't drag us in your problems, granny," replied Amy glaring at the Queen Bee.
Chris clapped his hands. "Stop fighting! The eliminations are definitive. So Topher if you may."
"Sorry, Sammy. It seems it's my time," said the host wannabe standing up. Sammy stood up and was shocked when he suddenly hugged her.
The younger twin blushed, opened her mouth to say something, and then closed it, returning the hug and kissing him tenderly on his lips.
"I'll be cheering for you. Beat Amy and win the million," said Topher letting her go.
"Can you hurry? This is a 26 minutes show!" said Chris looking at his clock.
Topher shrugged. "Sorry, I just wanted to say my goodbye without being pulled by the chopper."
Chris rolled his eyes. Next time he would have them dragged to the docks by Chef.
Topher began to put his vest, at the dock were Sammy, Charlotte, and Mike.
"Sorry you have to go partner, the game just lost one of his finest players," said Charlotte shaking his hand.
Topher smiled at her. "Yes is frustrating. Now you should try to play fair my friend. I think the risks aren't worth it."
The e-gamer twisted her mouth. No one but her understood the meaning behind Topher's words.
"It's so unfair. I don't want to be alone," said Mike in a sad voice, tears almost falling from his eyes, hugging his friend
"Don't be so sad. You'll be fine Mik. And now you have to win for Zoey, Cam, Draman, and me," said Topher, also hugging him.
And suddenly, the chopper took Topher before he could say anything else to Sammy. She just looked at him going away. After that, she stood silent for the rest of the night, no talking to anyone. Not even Heather that did her best to comfort her.
Chris smiled and then looked at the camera. "An we're at the final 10. From now on, the challenges will only get harder and harder. What will happen with Sammy after Topher's elimination? Can Mike recover from losing his cleaning mate? And can we avoid the PETA demand after today's episode?
