RAW is WAR: 2/8/1999
WWF Raw is WAR was live at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. The show opened with a recap video of last week's main event when the Bladewolf took on Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship, with interference from Triple H, then the Undertaker and Kane before everyone was shocked when Bladewolf turned Heel and attacked Austin with Undertaker and Kane, allowing Bladewolf to pin Austin and become a 2-time WWF Champion.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The Undertaker's slow Ministry theme plays and fire explodes on the stage before the Bladewolf, the Undertaker, and Kane walk out with Paul Bearer at their side. It was truly an intimidating sight to behold as all three brothers had reunited again. The Bladewolf had the WWF Championship around his waist, having gotten the actually design instead of the Smoking Skull Belt.
"What a scary sight, JR!" Jerry said. "Look at this!"
"The brothers have reunited." JR nodded as Paul Bearer leads the way for the three demonic brothers. "Dark days...are upon us, King. With these three demonic, evil, and sadistic brothers back together again...I pray for every WWF Superstar that earns their wrath."
"Bladewolf did say an apocalypse was coming, that a new age was upon us." Jerry nodded, recalling Bladewolf's words from last week. "This is clearly what he meant."
The brothers and Paul Bearer enter the ring and Bladewolf pulls his coat hood down before taking his title off to put it on his shoulder as the crowd was giving them a huge mixed reaction. The Undertaker's theme dies down as all three brothers stand side by side with Paul Bearer grabbing a microphone.
"Look upon the trio that is destruction incarnate." Paul laughed. "The brothers have reunited, the family is back together again. For all the issues they've had, one thing was certain...they would always have a bond."
Undertaker stepped forward and took the microphone. "It's simple, we hate everyone and we hate everything. This...was a plan that has come to fruition for months of planning."
"What?" JR asks.
Undertaker continues. "My brother, Bladewolf, made this plan. Months ago, on the day the Ministry of Darkness and the Corporation formed together, he came to me and told me of a plan that would have us reign supreme as we should. But we had roles to play, I would continue to fool the Corporate Ministry, but when certain...men in the group got too arrogant, too cocky and too demanding of things and trying to remove me...the plan went underway. We had everyone fooled, our plan was to make sure the WWF Championship stayed in the dark side, stayed with the Brothers of Destruction. Standing before you is the true personification of evil, darkness, destruction, and hellfire. Our goal is to remain at the top of the mountain, above everyone of those stinking, rotting, corpses behind that curtain and all of you. While Bladewolf is the WWF Champion, Kane and I...we desire the WWF Tag Team Championships."
Bladewolf stepped forward and was handed the microphone. "Austin...last week wasn't anything personal. I just took what I desired and what is rightfully mine. Had it been any other man, we would've done the same thing to them. I know you will want your rematch, either tonight or at SummerSlam...and I look forward to it. Because this time, when we meet again, I am going to rip the flesh off your bones, I am going to tear your heart out...and I am going to feed it to my hellhounds."
"Good God, that's sick." JR said with disgust.
Stone Cold's theme hits to a pop and the former WWF Champion comes out onto the stage with a microphone in hand. He glares at Bladewolf as he paces back and fourth.
"For an entire week, old Stone Cold Steve Austin has been thinking about last week on RAW when he was assaulted by you three jackasses. Bladewolf, you just earned yourself a big ass whoopin', boy." Austin said, pointing at Bladewolf. "I don't care that you had this plan in the works for weeks, I don't care about this...family reunion with you and your jackass brothers, and I'm looking at you Undertaker. It seems things between me and the Brothers of Destruction never seem to end. So to hell with waiting until SummerSlam, I want a match with you right here tonight!"
The crowd cheered as Bladewolf stared at Austin and looked at his brothers before he looked back at Austin and leaned on the ropes while adjusting his title on his shoulder. "You got it, Austin." The crowd cheered as they were happy to see the Bladewolf s Stone Cold once again. "But you better give your soul to God..because your ass will belong to me."
Bladewolf throws the microphone down as Kane raises his arms before throwing them down, causing fire to shoot out of the turnbuckles and the stage, which made Austin jump back in surprise but instead of looking scared, he glared at the Brothers of Destruction and flipped them off as Undertaker's theme played.
"It's on tonight. We have the Bladewolf vs Stone Cold Steve Austin!" JR said. "Other than that, we have the Undertaker and Kane vs Big Show and Road Dogg after Kane and Undertaker assaulted X-Pac last night on HEAT."
Later
In the first-ever "Blood Bath Match," Edge took on Gangrel, with the winner being the first to take the vat at ringside and give his opponent a bloodbath. When Edge went for a spear, Gangrel blocked him with a steel chair. Gangrel subsequently knocked him cold with the Impaler, and then grabbed the vat. Victory seemed to be imminent, but the arena went black. When the lights came back on, Gangrel had been given a blood bath by Christian. Edge was declared the winner, and he embraced his brother for an apparent reunion.
Shane McMahon appeared for the first time since his father was forced to leave Federation television forever. The "Boy Wonder" couldn't believe that the fans did not give his father the send off he deserved. After all, the reason they were at the arena, the reason the Federation is successful as it is, and the reason there is a Stone Cold Steve Austin at all, is because of Vincent K. McMahon. Shane said that he was letting the Corporate Ministry members go their separate ways because he was focusing his attention on one person only: Test. Shane warned Test to stay away from Stephanie. But Test himself came out and promised that after taking out "Fat Ass" Pete Gas already, he was going to go through Rodney and Joey Abs until there was only Shane. Test said he would take care of Shane so Stephanie would be an only child!
In the net match, Big Show and Road Dogg took on Kane and the Undertaker. Bladewolf accompanied his brothers to ringside and stood with paul Bearer as he watched his brothers dominate Road Dogg, then double team Big Show to take him out. The match came to an end when Undertaker hit the Tombstone on Road Dogg to score the pinfall.
Kane and the Undertaker did title gestures, showing they wanted the WWF Tag Team Championships.
After this, Mr. Ass and Chyna hit the ring, and the 1999 King of the Ring told the fans that for his match with The Rock at SummerSlam, it was a choice between his royal ass and the People's Ass. To prove that his ass is superior, Billy Gunn said he had some video footage of The Rock. Up on the Titan Tron, a picture of a gigantic fat backside appeared. The Rock was not happy, and he popped up on the Titan Tron and gave Mr. Ass his plans for SummerSlam (it involved turning things sideways and sticking them straight up his candy ass).
It was title vs. title as European Champion D'Lo Brown took on Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett. When a Jarrett clothesline inadvertently knocked out the referee, Debra entered the ring carrying both titles. She revealed her puppies to D'Lo, who paused for a minute and then picked up the Intercontinental Title and whacked Jarrett with it. D'Lo made the cover and the referee came to and administered the three count! D'Lo became a double champion! After the match, Jarrett blamed Debra for the loss and he challenged D'Lo to a rematch at SummerSlam!
Next up was the Bladewolf vs Stone Cold Steve Austin!
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
Dark Side plays to boos as fire explodes on the stage before the Bladewolf walks out with the Undertaker, Kane, and Paul Bearer. He had the WWF Championship back around his waist.
"The following contest is scheduled for one-fall! Introducing first, accompanied by the Undertaker, Kane, and Paul Bearer, weighing 310 lbs, he is the World Wrestling Federation Champion...THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced.
"And here we go folks, we're about to see the Bladewolf take on Stone Cold Steve Austin." JR said. "This is a non-title match, but I got a feeling we will see these two men battle at SummerSlam if this rivalry continues."
"Man, I thought Austin and Bladewolf were somewhat close friends." Jerry said.
"They were never friends, King." JR said. "Bladewolf has no friends, he doesn't give a damn about anybody except himself and his brothers. As for Austin, Rattlesnakes don't make good friends. You never trust a Rattlesnake."
Bladewolf enters the ring while his brothers and Paul Bearer remain outside the ring. Bladewolf paces back and fourth as he takes off his trench coat and tosses it out the ring when Stone Cold's theme plays to a loud pop.
The Texas Rattlesnake comes out and storms down towards the ring. "And his opponent, from Victoria, Texas, weighing 252 lbs...STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!" Tony Chimel announed.
Austin slides into the ring and the two men get right in each other's face, the height difference easily seen as Bladewolf is taller than Austin a bit. Austin's theme dies down as the two rivals stare each other down with Austin mouthing off.
Howeer, Triple H's theme suddenly plays to the confusion of everyone and they look to the stage to see Triple H coming out with Chyna at his side. Austin glared at the man he's meant to be facing at SummerSlam, or he would've when he was the WWF Champion.
"Hold it right there!" Triple H ordered as he stood at the ring apron and his theme dies down. "Austin! You lost last week, you got your ass handed to you by a freak in a mask. It's time you go to the back of the lie so that I can take the shot and take what is mine." Triple H enters the ring and gets in Austin's face. "I deserve a shot at Bladewolf and I will get it! Whether it's tonight, next week, or SummerSlam, I don't care, I will get my shot at the title!"
Austin simply smirked before he clobbers Triple H, making him stumble into a right fist from Bladewolf that floors Triple H. Austin goes to grab Triple H when Bladewolf boots him in the side of the head. Triple H tackles Bladewolf down and unloads as Undertaker and Kane get in the ring to aid their brother when chaos happens as the Acolytes, Big Show, The Rock, Hardcore Holly, the Road Dogg and Mr. Ass join in, and there was an out-of-control brawl at ringside.
Bladewolf hammers away on Austin in the corner as Triple H boots Road Dogg...AND HITS THE PEDIGREE! Bladewolf exits the ring with is title in hand and backs up the ramp with his brothers as Austin...HITS THE STUNNER ON BILLY GUNN!
Bladewolf raises the title as Undertaker's slow Ministry theme plays, with Bladewolf staring down Austin and Triple H as RAW goes off the air...
I'm trying to make the brothers sound as Heelish as I can, make them say things that a good, strong heel would say. Also, I hope you enjoyed the issues between Bladewolf and Austin, and now Triple H is added to the mix.
