Fourth Singularity, Part 6: Secrets of the Clock Tower
1888
Underneath the grounds of the remains of the British Museum, the makeshift bunker now served as their new base of operations. Emboldened by the defenses they have erected, be it from the Clock Tower's own shut down defenses or their own. It would suffice for their current needs, but it would always use more reinforcements, especially now that the rest of the Casters had returned.
The shield that sat on the center of the room lit up with power, channeling the leyline they sat upon to connect them back to Chaldea. The holographic display showed the Control Room, with the Director at the forefront. Even through this, they could see her nervousness. Ayako was no longer standing, sitting on the dingy floor with a frustrated look on her face, occasionally glancing back to her unformed rifle. Fou had also settled into the crook of her neck, nuzzling into her collarbone like a clingy cat. Ritsuka looked even more tired than he usually would be, especially after he had delivered his own report. Kagiso stood by mostly in silence, interjecting with his own input when needed, his eyes mostly closed for them to see. Mash had supported them in any way she could, though she mostly concentrated in making sure the connection to Chaldea remain undisturbed. Koleen was just finishing up her report, with Lord El-Melloi II backing up her claims.
"So all in all, this minor excursion was a success." Medea commented with a nod, an arm over her chest and a hand on her chin. "Barring the sudden attack half of the Ground Team experienced."
"And this has never happened before, Dr. Jekyll?" Doctor Roman asked, turning his attention to the local Alchemist.
"No. There's a reason why I still have a network of likeminded individuals." He answered with a shake of his head. "Our numbers have kept ourselves in check by barricading in our own shelters, and we have never been attacked. Only when we leave them, for one reason or another."
"Then you should inform them that their shelters are no longer safe." Kagiso said, turning to face the shorter man with Circe nodding at his words. "The civilians, they most likely will not be a target. But these acquaintances of yours, they might be seen as a problem."
"I know, I need to inform them of this development." He nodded back with a worried frown.
"We also have ourselves a veritable army of Rogue Servants on our side." The Director noted with a neutral expression, her demeanor having calmed down after the reports. "It is curious that we have a couple of Japanese powerhouses, but I will not look a gift horse in the mouth."
"You're right that it is curious." Circe said, glancing to the aforementioned two Servants. "I wonder at the connection that could pull the likes of you two to this Singularity."
"Your guess is as good as mine." Tamamo said with a shrug. "The air of Divinity that is unseen in this era is of concern, but I struggle to see how such a thing would be enough to call Kintoki here, let alone myself."
"Even curiouser is the nameless child with you, if I do say so myself." Da Vinci said with a smirk that didn't fully reach her eyes. "You have yet to introduce yourself, child."
"The persona is being coy." Andersen responded before the floating Servant could, drawing the attention of the Masters. "She is an amalgamation of all of Fairy Tales. A Reality Marble, given form. There is nothing more to it than that."
The floating Servant pouted briefly in annoyance. "How rude." She said simply. "Is it wrong to get to know people first?" Andersen scoffed at her statement.
"Do you two know each other?" Koleen asked, her pink eyes shifting between the two.
The floating Caster shook her head. "I do not." Andersen shrugged, not giving a verbal answer, allowing her to continue. "As he had surmised, I am Nursery Rhyme. Though I would appreciate it if you would refer to me as Alice."
"Alice? Sounds like there's a deeper meaning to it, 'cause I doubt it's because of the Red Riding Hood." Ayako commented, earning a chuckle from the esteemed writers.
"And maybe someday you will all know the significance of the name." The newly introduced Alice said with a smile that returned to her face.
"Wow. That sounds ominous." Ritsuka said with a nervous chuckle.
"Before we forget…" Mash spoke up before anyone else could get another word in. "Senpai needs to have his training with Martha resume again. He has postponed them far too often now, and we can see the effects of it."
"Words right out of my mouth, Mash." Ayako said with a smile as the blue eyed Master turned to Mash with a look of betrayal.
The Casters behind the Director nodded in agreement, as Olga scanned Ritsuka herself. "Understood. Romani, schedule a session in the morning for Fujimaru's itinerary at least three times a week. And I will personally speak with Saint Martha about this myself."
"You can't escape from this now, Ritsuka." Medea said with an amused chuckle. "We will continue our lessons as well, scheduled in-between them."
"How were the Shadow Servants?" Da Vinci asked with a slight eagerness to her pep.
"They were more than sufficient, when it came to dealing with the masses." Ayako replied, glancing to the Druid beside the Renaissance Genius. "Although I can see they won't be able to fare well against actual Servants."
"They are mere Shadows after all." Cú Chulainn commented with a chuckle. "They have their purposes, if you four for some reason cannot have our selves at the ready."
"Another layer of protection, so to say." Kagiso added for her, with herself and Ritsuka nodding along.
"Sufficient, but it won't do in a true firefight." The Druid finished off for Da Vinci. "If you find yourselves in a situation where you are forced to call them, then let's hope you won't be needing anything else."
The Masters nodded, taking in his words carefully.
"Can we return to Ritsuka's report for a second?" The Doctor said, pulling everyone's eyes towards him. "You said the house of Dr. Jekyll's friend turned out to be Victor Frankenstein. Did you happen to, you know…"
"Yes, we did." He answered, glancing back to Eve. "We… met his daughter there."
"Hm…" the peach haired individual nodded.
The Doctor's eyes widened comically, while the Casters behind them eyed the artificial human with renewed interest.
"Is that so…" Medea spoke up, her eyes narrowing curiously on the tall peach haired girl. "Hm… impressive."
"While we are returning to your report, let us go over the note you found before this devolves further." The Director said with a quick sharp glance to the man beside her. "Fujimaru, repeat it, please."
The Master nodded, as he pulled out the scrap from his pocket. "I learned of a certain plot. Its name is 'Project Demonic Fog.' Though its present state is still unknown. The four leaders of the project are 'P', 'B', 'M', and 'V', and they could cast spells beyond human wisdom. They must be Heroic Spirits."
"They're just initials, but it's pretty telling." El-Melloi II noted with interest.
"I think by this point it's pretty obvious that the V is Da Vinci." Ayako said, earning nods from the others. "We can work from there in determining the other three."
"Wouldn't her name be with a D then?" Ritsuka asked her confusedly.
She shook her head. "Her last isn't a family name, it means where she's from. From Vinci." Ayako's golden eyes turned to the Renaissance Genius. "So, do you have any ideas who the others might be?"
"I knew a lot of people in my life, Ayako. Dozens of names pop to mind, with such sparse clues." She replied with a chuckle of her own.
"Well it's the biggest clues we have, and the only one right now. So it's the only one we have to go on." Ayako said with a frown. Her brows furrowed when she noticed something, turning to her side. "Kalls, you've been quiet. Got something stewing in that brain of yours?"
"Maybe." The pink eyed blonde said with a serious expression. "Circe's right. Tamamo and Kintoki are the outliers who are only marginally connected to the Singularity. So, that begs to question." She looked up to meet their eyes. "Who is?"
The others were now paying in rapt attention, with Circe also joining the Clock Tower Lord in standing beside her. "I don't know much of the… magical side of history. Only my family's tomes, and even then all of that is sparse in its depth, shrouded in myth. I know we're a few centuries late, but… there's a renowned physician who pioneered the way we viewed medicine. And, he also had an affinity with hermeticism."
"You're speaking of Paracelsus von Hohenheim." Lord El-Melloi II nodded in recognition. "And you are not wrong, he is also a renowned alchemist. It would definitely explain the homunculi that we have faced." His eyes narrowed back onto the Genius. "And judging by that look, you know of him, personally."
"You could say that. Though only as an acquaintance for a short time. He was a young prodigy when I was nearing the end of my life." She answered with a smile. "He was never seen too far from that friend of his, who was also a powerful magus in his own right. Makiri Zolgen."
"Makiri Zolgen? He's a powerful Russian magus renowned for his familiars." Olga said with recognition.
"He was also somewhere withing a century ago. He's had some close ties with the Einzberns and Tohsakas in the past." El-Melloi added, as his brows began furrowing. "Wait a minute..."
"Would it be too much of a coincidence for both Makiri and Paracelsus to be the ones on this note?" Kagiso asked, pulling attention from the Clock Tower Lord.
"I don't believe so." Circe answered. "If the V is indeed Da Vinci, then it is highly likely that the M and the P to be the two who she has a connection to, especially if they knew each other themselves."
"That just leaves the B then, if we have the M and the P correct." Ayako said, standing back up. "We can work from there, while also trying to deduce who B is." She turned her eyes to the local Alchemist. "Unless you have an idea?"
"I'm sorry, I don't." the bespectacled man replied.
"Uhn…?" Both their eyes turned to Eve, who raised her hand as she spoke up.
"You know someone?" he asked her with genuine surprise in his voice.
"Uhm…" she nodded.
"Ah, I see." Mordred said in understanding. "She said that she thinks she knows, and that you also know him."
"I do?"
"Uhn." She nodded again, reaching closer to pull his sleeve. "Ba…bba…ge…"
"Babbage? He's still alive though, and he left the country before all of this happened." He said unsurely.
"Excuse me?" Koleen spoke up, disbelief written clearly on her face. "Babbage, as in Charles Babbage, is alive?"
"Of course." Jekyll said with a nod and a slight smile. "He'll reach 100 in three years' time."
Koleen rubbed her eyes as a wave of frustration washed over her. Circe pulled the young Witch back to ease the tension, allowing the rest of the group to continue on.
"Alright then. We have three likely names, along with a fourth confirmed one." Ayako held up her hand, four fingers spread apart. "We'll split the group into four. Three of them will go topside, and they will try and confirm these suspicions, one way or another." Three fingers curled back in, leaving her forefinger. "The last group, instead of trying to find Da Vinci, will be down here. A rare opportunity to scour the old tomes of the Clock Tower, and do some good ol' research. They'll try and find what they can about the Singularity, and perhaps more."
"It will be prudent to take some of them back, and make our backups." Kagiso added with a firm nod. "After that, we burn the original copies, so to say."
"I like that." Ayako agreed.
"Earlier, the intention was to have you, El-Melloi, and the two writers to accompany you throughout this dungeon." Circe said, approaching her with a casual traipse. "I vetoed the idea, because I do not believe they were capable of protecting you in the maze that guards London's greatest secrets."
"Is there any change to that idea?" Ayako asked her in return.
"The Enchantress was adamant that she would only allow such a thing if there was a magus of her caliber to keep us in check." Shakespeare said with a smile on his face.
Their eyes trailed towards Tamamo, who noticed the shift in attention towards her. She sighed. "I will not look forward to having to crawl through this clammy dungeon."
"I do not trust these fools in protecting Ayako. She is the leader of this team, and thus she deserves the highest of protections." Circe said, unfurling her wings in display. "The highest of distinctions are required to be her guardian."
Ayako couldn't help but glance at Circe with furrowed brows, wondering where this all came from, or if it all was just empty words needed to coerce Tamamo-no-Mae. And judging by the look the Fox Caster was showing, she most likely was thinking the same thing. Eventually, she sighed and shook her head. "Fine. I'll make sure she's safe."
"Perfect." Circe said with a charming smile on her face. "The team should otherwise remain unchanged."
"So five people, staying here." She turned back to the Alchemist. "Jekyll, will you be staying here?"
He shook his head, almost hesitantly. "I need to warn my colleagues of the sudden change of our enemy. So, I will need to go out there."
"Understood." Ayako nodded, before she turned back to the rest of her team. "Mash, Ristu-chan. The both of you are still together, and so will Mordred. Eve will be accompanying you. So try to follow her lead."
"Yes, Ayako-san."
"Kags, you will be with Arturia, and Alice. You will also be protecting Dr. Jekyll as he informs the rest of his group." She outlined, with the aforementioned Alchemist nodding behind her.
"We'll make sure nothing happens to him." Kagiso said with confidence, sharing a nod with Chaldea's Saber.
"Kalls, you will have Kintoki, and Circe. Hopefully, whatever's out there will be deterred from approaching two powerful Servants." She said to her closest friend. "And, if needs be, use that concoction of yours, the one you didn't get a chance to use back in the Atlantic."
The blonde's hands reached for her pack, almost subconsciously reaching for it. "If it is necessary."
"We will tell you when it might be necessary." Circe said as she returned back to the young Witch's side.
"The three groups will be divided into which direction they will be heading." Ayako continued, turning her face back to the hologram of the Control Room. "We have, for all intents and purposes, explored the west end of London. That leaves the north, the east, and the south."
"There is nothing much else we can provide, you have outlined a sufficient plan." The Director said with a nod, and Ayako could barely make out the hint of a smile on the young woman's face. "There's a reason why you're the leader of the Ground Team, Aozaki."
Ayako chuckled, happy to see Olga lighten up, even in this serious of a situation. "Well, if there's nothing left-"
"Uhm!" she felt the tug on her sleeve, as Eve approached her.
"Yeah? What's up?" she asked the taller figure.
"Uhn…" she gingerly, and carefully, patted her free metallic hand on Ayako's chest. "Uhm…"
"Ah…" Mash and Mordred seemed to understand her grunts.
Ayako had some vague idea as to what Eve was implying with her body language. "You, what… want a body? Is that it?"
"Uhn!" Eve nodded vigorously, a smile wide on her face.
"Wait, would that mean she would come back to Chaldea when the Singularity repairs itself?" the Doctor said aloud, his eyes wide at the implications.
"We don't know, it will be new grounds for us to tread." Da Vinci said, smiling with a glint in her eyes. "But you don't have any spare bodies now, do you?"
"Technically I do…" Ayako closed her eyes as she debated with herself. She had two backups currently back at Chaldea. Ideally, she would have more, but she hadn't had the time to fully make a suite of backups yet. And taking one obviously meant that she would be down one more backup.
But, at times, logic gets pushed aside for sentimentality. "Fuck it. Da Vinci, I give you full access to one of my backups, to refurbish it to accommodate for Eve. Aa-chan will be there to make sure that you do not go snooping around for anything else besides the puppet, and she will supervise you as well."
"Oh, this will be fun!" Da Vinci sounded like a kid in a candy store, all giddy with excitement.
"She'll need your schematics though, Eve."
"Uhm." The taller girl turned to the Control Room, as she began exchanging with the Renaissance Genius.
Ayako sighed tiredly, before she turned back to her friends, and the other Servants around them. "There's nothing else to attend to, right?"
"Nothing too urgent." Kagiso said with a nod, placing his metallic hand on her shoulder.
"Was that wise, Ayako?" Koleen asked, worry visible on her face.
"Probably not, but the ways of the heart tend to go against wisdom." Ayako said with a smile on her own face.
"It was a nice thing you did, Ayako-san." Ritsuka said, matching her smile on his face.
"It will mean that we might be getting someone new in Chaldea." Mash said, looking the most ecstatic she has ever been. "This wasn't something we thought was possible, aside from the Servants."
"Well, we'll have to see if it works first." Ayako reminded them, before her face turned serious once more. "Now, let's see where you guys will be going."
"Chances are, we won't be finding much." Ayako said, holstering her rifle around her back as Fou nestled into her red coat, hiding somewhere inside. "Our enemy has done a thorough job in annihilating the Clock Tower and its people. There's no reason to think they would do differently to the centuries of knowledge sequestered inside."
"Our hope lies in the thought that they might not have been as thorough." Waver added for her, lighting a cigarette in his lips.
"The Sin that has befallen many empires will be our greatest ally." Shakespeare said with a smile.
"What are we looking for, exactly?" Tamamo asked, being the newest addition to the group, her hands akimbo on her hips as her tail moved about as if it had a mind of its own.
"Anything pertaining the Singularity, and more." Ayako replied.
"Whatever is inside will no doubt be of use to anyone with half a brain to decipher their mangled mess." Andersen said with the usual frown on his face.
"So let's not waste any more time then." Ayako said to the group, earning nods from the Servants. "Waves, you take the lead."
He nodded. "Don't stray too far from the group. The last thing we want is for anyone to get lost here."
"Has that ever happened to you?" Ayako asked.
The older man scoffed. "No, I don't plan on ever it happening. These halls are unfamiliar even to me. And I have been here."
"Well then get to it." Tamamo urged with impatience. "The sooner we can return to that excuse of a bunker you call a shelter, the better."
And so they did, lead by the Clock Tower Lord further deeper into the depths of the Clock Tower. With each passing step across the cobblestone, they were proven right in their assumptions; there was nothing but caved in rooms filled with nothing but rubble, with each doorway they passed by. The writers were quick to offer their comments, in their own flowery words, much to Tamamo's chagrin. Both Ayako and El-Melloi were more focused in finding the rooms than to listen in on the quips of the people they were with.
"It appears we might be lucky." Waver said, stopping for a second as he pointed out the intact door he had caught.
"Fingers crossed." Ayako commented as they continued walking towards it.
With slight difficulty, the door was pushed open. Lo and behold, a forgotten library of sorts, though untouched even in this era, with the dust piling up around them.
"How fortuitous. It seems Pride is on our side." Shakespeare chuckled heartily, stepping past by them to enter the room first. "My, some of these are even older than I was. I expected such a thing to be somewhere deeper."
"Then we should count our blessings, and get to work." Andersen followed behind, already perusing through the tomes, his hand scraping the backs of the worn books."
Ayako turned to Waver as they let Tamamo inside before them. "Should we try and see if there are more rooms untouched?"
"Perhaps later." He answered her. "They have already gone through the Clock Tower before, the chances of them returning are slim."
"But still very much a possibility."
"True." He nodded. "Which is why we should get started on this one currently, and not risk losing them.
"Alright." She replied simply, as the both of them joined the others inside one of the many the forgotten libraries of the Clock Tower Dungeon.
"So is there a reason why you are only given the two of us?" Kintoki asked, as he spearheaded the trio led by Koleen.
The Blonde Witch gave a cursory glance to the Berserker, her face unusually neutral. "Ayako said it was to deter anything from coming after us. Well, me specifically."
"I remember, but I feel like that isn't actually the reason." He said back to her with uncertainty.
"It's actually to draw them in in fact." Circe said from behind them. "Isn't that right?"
"It is." Koleen admitted to them without hesitation. "The other two groups have Sabers to protect them, the more obvious signs of a powerhouse. Even though they are more stretched thin compared to us, a Saber is more than enough to deal with whatever they will come across." Her hand reached into her pouch, grasping at the untouched flask she had created months ago. "Hopefully, I'm a more enticing target."
"Isn't that dangerous?" he asked them, glancing behind to the two of them, keeping his pace.
"It most definitely is. You remember when she was attacked back at the Scotland Yard." Circe said, reminding them of the attack that seemed to disappear from their memories. "If Koleen is a target once more, then we will nip this thing in the bud before it can cause a much more permanent scar on our group."
"What if they don't attack?" He asked the older Witch.
"That should be a good thing, no?" Koleen answered for her figurative senior. "It means we have achieved what we had planned, so to say."
The Blonde Berserker nodded. "I can understand that." He cracked his shoulders, his hands tightening around his axe. "We're getting surrounded by the way."
"I've noticed." Circe responded in a rather calm manner. "We've had eyes on us since before we entered the district."
"Well that isn't very golden to hear." The axe fell from his shoulder, held up in his hand as they continued down the deserted road.
"Let's just keep moving." Koleen said, her words taken as a light order by the two Servants. "They haven't made the move, but should they do, we will react in kind."
"Understood." They both replied.
"Do you have any idea what's surrounding us?" she asked.
"The same as usual, but… I can detect that they're different." The Enchantress replied. "With each and every loss, they are becoming stronger. Improving."
"Huh, I can guess who's doing the dirty work then." The American Witch said with a chuckle.
"I think I see something." Kintoki said, halting his steps. The two behind him also stopped, yet the sounds of footsteps still echoed in the obscured city. Circe drew out her staff, her wings unfurling in preparation.
Whatever it was still proved to be either too far or too obscured for Koleen herself to see, but Circe confirmed the Berserker's sightings. Koleen already had a needle in her hand inside the pouch, ready to draw blood the moment it was necessary. Her pink eyes narrowed on the horizon, trying to discern the figure that was making the footsteps they could hear. Eventually, as if commanded, the dense fog parted like the red sea.
A rather effeminate looking man, long dark hair dressed in what could be considered as a lab coat, hands covered in fingerless gloves; one held a flask, the other a short sword. The hand that held the knife shifted the hair that covered his face, showing his fading golden eyes. His long hair was braided, styled in a way that was quite similar to Ayako. And the more Koleen looked, the coat became less of a lab coat, and something more… magical. And the most telling of all, was the expression on his face.
Clear, and obvious, indifference.
"I wasn't expecting the Chaldeans to be on the hunt." He said as he too finally stopped moving. "Most of us predicted that you would hunker down for a short moment after that attack."
"It will take far more than that to slow us down." Koleen retorted, her finger already drawing blood.
"Apparently so. We will have to take that into account in the future." He drew his sword and pointed it at them, his face still bearing the indifference. "So let Paracelsus von Hohenheim be the one to turn you back."
Inwardly, Koleen sighed with relief. It seemed that a part of her theory was proven by this very moment. Should she go for broke?
She might as well.
"I honestly expected to see Babbage here." She said as she pulled out her bloodied finger.
The Alchemist's eyes blinked. "I'm sure someone else of your group will have trouble dealing with him, though I wonder where you could decipher his existence."
Bingo. Koleen smirked, her finger tracing a pattern on her left hand. "We didn't, but you confirmed it for us."
"Thus it means that we now know each and every single person in your little group." Circe said with a sense of pride. A blue ethereal bird was conjured in the palm of her hand. "Alert the others."
"Ha, to be foiled by a question, of all things." His hand tightened around his sword. "That is quite disappointing. I must rectify that mistake."
"Do your best, Alchemist." Kintoki said, as yellow lightning crackled around the head of his axe. "We will show you our golden drive!"
"With pleasure." Paracelsus declared, as an untold amount of homunculi emerged from the shadowed creeks of the district.
The Berserker raised his golden axe high, energy crackling on the very ground he stood on. An array of spells formed around Circe, her wings picking her up as she began taking to the skies. And Koleen's hand that held the bloodied pattern began to curl into a fist, as she pulled out another flask to throw behind her. They were surrounded.
But they remained steadfast in the face of their opposition.
"Aozaki." Ayako looked up from the tome she was reading, hearing Andersen's voice call out to her in the library. "El-Melloi. Everyone. You will need to read this."
She stood up and followed where his voice was, almost rushing at the odd urgency coming from the small writer. The others, even Tamamo, almost surrounded him on the makeshift desk he had created out of the pile of books he had procured. She stood behind him, peering over his shoulder, and began eyeing whatever it was that he had found as the others arrived.
"What is it?" Waver asked, wiping his eyes with an empty hand. "Did you find something about the Singularity perhaps?"
"That would be too convenient." Tamamo commented dismissively.
"I agree, my Japanese Vixen."
"Don't ever say that." Tamamo retorted, her hair almost bristling under Shakespeare's comment.
"No. Something else that has a farther reach than simply this, that will no doubt shake your very foundations." Andersen said, glancing above him to see Ayako's widening eyes. "Aozaki already caught a glimpse of it, but there's more."
That prompted the other three to see what it actually was that Andersen had discovered. A minute of silence passed, before they all finally arrived on the same page. The silence extended beyond that, as Ayako said the single word they were all thinking.
"Fuck…"
AUTHOR'S NOTE
contrasting last chapter, where i finished so early that i got time to start on a backlog (ie: this chapter), i had quite the difficult time writing this chapter. i rewrote it a couple of times and took a 3 week break, which coincided with ramadhan, so i just had time for myself during the month. (kinda needed it, fasting during ramadhan had always put me at ease, even though i'm not too big on fasting in general). eventually, i scrapped most of it and started writing it again. most of the work done was yesterday, believe it or not, but i'm super happy with the result this time around.
on another personal note, i've been also swamped with events going across the multitude of gacha games i'm playing. i had finished getting through AL's second Italian event, and i had to play quite a lot of the game since i was also farming FDG's development. Arknights had recently had the appreciation event for global, and i've been slaving myself away to grind the mats needed to level up and upgrade the two new Operators. now FGO's current event only has less than a day left.
time to work in overdrive just to get Grey. fuck...
anyways, within the greater lore of Fate, London is actually quite the important chapter, as this is where we discover (SPOILER ALERT) more about the Servants and their origins, and even something important about the Singularities as a whole towards the end of it. which is funny, since although London wasn't the worst, it was quite the forgettable Singularity. it's the only one i had to reread multiple times compared to every other Singularity.
i'm also trying to not dispose of the big Three (now Four) baddies. in the game, they literally get offed the moment they're introduced.
i mean, come on. seriously?
(i also did a quick edit after the chapter went live, i had to double up on my research and i realized there might be inconsistencies, so i tried to fix them)
(2nd edit after chapter went live, oh my god! did you guys see the Solomon trailer?! holy shit, there's so much i can use here from there! the new awesome Mystic Code, and even a trike! i've always planned on Ayako building a bike, if not the group, then herself that a Rider could ride for them. it's so cool to see that, and my idea doesn't seem so far fetched anymore!)
anyways, a little bit of development in regards to Eve, which will pave way Ayako's puppets in the future. there's one big contender for it in the near future, but that ends up like a sort of plot hole for FGO, if any of you guys know which what i'm talking about, high five.
anyways, let's get to the reviews!
Quartermass: people definitely blow it out of proportion. it's not out of the ordinary for people to be called by their last name, and Frankenstein is essentially the Monster's last name.
Addicted2fanfics: i got Ryoma the first time around, so i could relax. it was quite tiring too that time around.
Bashleyz: thanks!
harlequin320: thank you!
bonkxd: my dude, i appreciate you taking the time to read this fanfic, but i don't think you're going to enjoy what i write.
TalonScythe: Miss Crane is a beautiful and elegant Servant, just like Medea. She's also a veritable fountain of memes, just like Medea. Present Saber Lily in an idol outfit, and you'll have two people who will out-degenerate Blackbeard. i'm personally am still waiting for the "final" GudaGuda event, i really want Avenger Nobu. if i can get her, then i will be extremely happy.
well, once again, thank you everyone for taking your time to read through this now massive story!
it's just awesome seeing people read this, and i'm forever grateful to you all.
once again, drop a review if you guys don't mind, and i will see you all next time!
