The replica's divine material is now part of the construct of the Neuro Harvester, as well as the Boosted Gear. I have no complaint since the assimilation helped me succeed in controlling [Juggernaut Drive].
Also because of the plan, I am now sitting on Seiza stance on the floor. This is my punishment from Rias for keeping it a secret, she makes me sit here until tomorrow.
Vali disappeared while taking Fenrir with him. He has been aiming for the God-devouring wolf all this time. What a troublesome kid, but since Loki is finished, I can let it slide.

Alex then intervenes.

Maybe the compatibility between the 'evil-pieces' and those from Norse works in a different way?

Yes, just like she said, even by Supernatural standards, even gods have to put on a certain degree of effort, in order to conduct resurrection acts.

As far as everything is concerned, only God, Veldanava, Yahweh, my grandfather, can resurrect the dead perfectly, since he did contribute the most in creating life, after all.

The trouble ended and I, Azazel, was tagging along with Baraqiel who was planning to buy a few souvenirs in Japan.
It seems like the other idiots asked Baraqiel to bring them stuff when he returns. Man, those guys….. Well, it can't be helped since their Governor which is me is like this.
When I was resting on a bench inside the department store, Baraqiel returned carrying many bags with his hands.
"…..Hmm. Looks like I have everything they asked for."
"Good job."
Baraqiel sits next to me. He seems exhausted. For a stiff warrior-type like him, shopping must be hard. But he still finishes everything to the end once he is asked to do something.
I then took out a bento-box which was inside the bag that I was carrying.
"Barakiel. Here, take it."
"What is this wrapping?"
"Just open it."
When he opened it, there was a single bento-box.
"…..Bento?"
It's something Akeno gave me when I was on my way here. She gave it to me without saying anything, but I knew who I had to give it to without asking her.
"This is…."
When he opened the bento-box, it had magnificent Japanese food inside which is full with different colors.
Baraqiel looks at me. I urged him to "Eat it" without saying it and by making a smile.
He took the Hashi and puts the food into his mouth timidly.
That moment…...a single tear dripped down from Baraqiel's eyes.
"….Nikujaga….. It has the taste of Shuri."
He started gulping them and was addicted to it. He just kept on eating it while being silent.
He was eating it with enthusiasm while shedding many tears.
I then said it to my friend.
"Leave Akeno to me, Rias, and the others. There isn't a problem. The guy who she fell for is an idiot, a stubborn idiot… But he's a good person… he just went through too much pain… you already know"
Baraqiel stops his hashi, and covers his eyes with his hand. He then says it to me while his voice is mixed with a cry.
"I know… He….I want to believe that he will…take care of Akeno."
"Yeah, it's going to be okay."
Baraqiel started to resume eating after being relieved. He started filling his mouth with nikujaga.
The food made by the woman he loves which he thought he would never taste again. That taste has silently, but certainly reached him.
You will be able to eat it again. As much as you want. And as many times as you want.
Vergil. I couldn't say this in front of you but...
-I also feel like I was saved by you as well.
"You will also be saved, Vergil, by them. I just hope that you will eventually thaws your cold heart… so that you can feel it again…"

But as Vergil is weakened, these eyes are downgraded to "Extiction Vision", visually based on Superman's heat vision, but the beam is purely conceptual, anything it shines upon will be destroyed. I know, it's more like a god's power, but then again, Vergil did reach God-class, even if it's low tier, so even the nerf make sense.
+ "Eidos Senses", evolved from "Elemental senses", what was once simply advanced magic sensory functions that was binded by the laws of the physical world, became the power to see, search and read the flows of informations of reality. As Vergil is weakened, they have a range limit, about 20 kilometers. But he can bypass that by using sequential search, like when he traced back to Akeno's old home.
+ High resistance to Dragon Slayer effects. While he still took damage, the amount he receives will be drastically reduced, just like with his Holy – Demonic resistance.
- Our MC has finally conquered [Juggernaut Drive]. I had this idea of the negative energy harvester when I read "Hell Teacher Azazel". The explanations were already made in the story, you can check back if you forgot. Chapter 40 and 41, to be specific.
- Also, the new [Juggernaut Drive]'s appearance, think of it as Zenthon Titan in Bakugan Mechtanium Surge, combined with parts of Maxus Dragonoid in Bakugan New Vestroia. The arms particularly combine those of the latter, with the Buster Arm Devil Breaker.
- As for the Negative Neuro Harvester, it's based on the design of the Tachyon enhancer device used by Barry Allen, the Flash, and Eobard Thawne, the Reverse Flash, in the CW's TV series, The Flash. Just bigger, more extensive, and more futuristic.
- The first physical introduction of Hero Kanon Rudra I. His armor resembles Kamen Rider Brave Legacy Gamer level 100, albeit without the cringy elements. He is the first element to replace the role of the "otherworld contact" that Issei, in the original DxD, encountered. There's more to come, please look forward to it.
- The end of the battle is obviously a little fun nod to the scene in The Avengers movie when Loki got beaten up by the Hulk.
