Callie has regrets. The poem is told through her point of view. Brandon and Callie become teenage parents to a diabetic child named Taylor. They didn'the plan for Taylor, but they love him anyway. They have a daughter named Stella Selah Foster later on.

53. Our Son is Dead But It is Not Your Fault

Callie's p.o.v continued

"Ms. Adams Foster, we did everything we could to save your son. Unfortunately, we lost him. I am sorry for your loss" the doctor breaks my heart. Disoriented, I fall apart in Brandon's arms. Brandon stays strong for my sake. "Our son is dead but it is not your fault" he comforts me.
