CandyLuv99; Yeah, I love Sarabi. I try to put much into her. But you're right about Nyah. Though she's not happy her plan failed.
Here's chapter fifty-three, enjoy!
In the tall grasses of the Pridelands Kiara was in the mist of chasing a butterfly with Sherise, Mheetu and Mwezi not far behind.
"Hey! Wait! Come back! I just wanna play!" Kiara sees the butterfly land, and crouches to attack, "Ahhh... the mighty hunter has cornered her prey." She snarls, "Errrrh!"
Mheetu and Mwezi fell on their backs and broke in fits of snickers while Sherise giggled at her sister's attempt at hunting as Kiara pounced. It took her up the side of a small rise, from which she can see a distance into the Outlands.
"Whoah... cool! The Outlands! I wonder what's out there..."
Mwezi stopped laughing and said, "Kiara! No! You heard Uncle Simba."
Mheetu flickered his ear before lowering his head. "I have to agree with Mwezi on this."
Kiara rolled her eyes, "Come on, Mewy. Don't leave me." she then gave him her best pleading eyes.
Mheetu went quiet before shaking his head, "Not this time Kiara."
Kiara pouted before looking at Sherise. "Reese?"
Sherise rolled her purple eyes as she sighed deeply. "Fine. But we look around and come back!"
Kiara smiled brightly that Sherise couldn't help but copy. They weren't bloodrelated but Sherise love Kiara. And she'll do anything to protect her.
Sherise turned to Mwezi who was extremely quiet. "You sure you and Mheetu don't want to come?"
The white cub shook his head before they all looked up at the sound of a extremely loud roar. "What...what was that?"
Kiara shrugged. "Who knows. Now are you two coming?"
Mwezi shrunked back. He wasn't going to make a issue of of being scared. Because he was. "I'll just see you and Sherise when you return."
The sisters watched their cousins run the opposite direction of them before they started for the borders. Where they started to cross a log.
"Before careful, Kiara." Sherise called out, her fur on edge.
The gold cub just giggled and wasn't paying attention to where she was going as she tripped and went rolling.
"Kiara!" Sherise yelled before running after her sister. Only to stop when he saw a bit older unknown cub growling at Kiara.
Sherise growled and stepped in between the other cub and Kiara.
"Who are you pridelanders!"
"None of your concern!" Sherise snapped, her purple eyes narrowed.
The dark brown male cub with a darker brown tuff on his head raised a eyebrow before looking at Kiara who was jumping from side to side. "What are you doing?"
"My father said to never turn your back on an Outsider!"
The Outsider cub laughed, "You always do what your daddy says?"
Kiara frowned, "No!"
The Outsider cub smirked, "I bet you do! I bet you're daddy's little girl!"
Kiara shrunk back as Sherise stepped between them again and growled, "Leave my sister alone!"
The dark brown cub just laughed before he turned and lept on some rocks in the river, "I don't need anybody. I take care of myself."
Sherise snorted with a roll of her eyes. "I seriously doubt it."
"Really cool!"
Sherise's eyes widen as a growl escape her throat as she watched Kiara followed the male cub with a look of awe.
Got to be kidding. Of all the males we know she gets a crush on the enemy.
Sherise shook her head and followed with a scowl on her pretty face.
"Ahhh!"
Sherise shook her head to rid of the thoughts when she heard Kiara's scream.
"Sherise, run!"
The adopted princess turned and gasped as there was a large crocodile jaw coming down on her. Without another thought she ran with the other cubs following. They soon stopped on some rocks to catch their breathes.
"That was a close one.."
Sherise rolled her eyes at the Outsider cub's statement before her eyes widen as the rocks they were on started to rise.
"Run!" Shouted Sherise running off.
Kiara and the cub wasted no time and ran. Kiara ran up a tree as Sherise ran to another rock and the other cub fell in the water.
Sherise looked around and saw a branch leading towards land.
"There!" The dark brown female cub yelled.
Kiara leaped on the croc's jaws that was about to close down on the stranger.
"Move it!"
The cub waste no time and ran up with Kiara and Sherise following. Once on land the cubs stopped to breathe. After they moved to the edge where Kiara gave them a raspberry before moving to a safer spot.
"Man did you see the size of those teeth!"
Sherise sat in the back and snarled at the little flirting Kiara was giving towards the cub that introduced himself as Kovu. She watched as Kiara tagged Kovu.
Sherise snorted when she saw Kovu didn't know how to play. Just then a loud roar ripped through the air. Sherise looked and saw Simba roaring in Kovu's face.
Before a pale tan lioness and a older white lioness jumped from behind some bushes and roared at Simba.
Sherise was scared of these lionesses, as she remembers them murdering Kopa and her mother. Sherise backed up, to only back up to her Grandmother Sarabi's leg.
"Zira."
"Simba."
"Gwen."
"Nala." the two Outsider lionesses sneered at the tawny queen.
Nala and Starra growled but Simba blocked their view of Gwen and Zira and snarled. "I banished you from the Pridelands! Now you, Gwen... and your young cub and get out!"
At the loud shout Kiara shrunk back from in between her father's backlegs.
"Oh.. haven't you met my son, Kovu? He was hand-chosen by my father to follow in his pawprints and become King!"
Simba growled as Sherise glared at the pale tan lioness.
"You know the penalty of returning!" growled Starra in disgust.
"But the child does not! However...if you need your pound of fresh..." Zira purred before pushing her son towards Simba.
Simba looked at the cub before looking at Gwen and Zira, "Take him and get out! We are finish here." he picked up Kiara and made why to walk home, until Zira walked up.
"Oh no, Simba.. we have barely begun."
Zira glared wickedly at her niece, she turns and picks Kovu in her jaws. Where her and Gwen headed back to the Outlands.
Kiara and Kovu watch each other dangle as they move apart.
"Bye.."
"Bye.."
Simba glared before walking away. Sherise sighed before getting up and following, staying close to her dark beige grandmother.

Zira had just put Kovu asleep. She was absolutely blown away when an ally, a black, black mane lion name Nox told her where her son had ran off to. She's just glad she and Gwen got to them before Simba had the chance to any damage.
"I see the chosen one is safe and sound."
Zira turned to see Keres, a large black lion with a black mane and amber eyes walking towards her. "Yeah. Give my thanks to your general."
Keres chuckled which earned a confused look from the pale tan lioness. "I believe that your sister.. Nasira is showing her...um appreciation for the both of you."
Zira looked horrified before shaking her head. She knew that it wasn't Nasira's idea. Nox must of liked what he saw and wanted her as payment. And means Gwen must of gave the okay. "Thanks...anyway."
As Zira went to walk away, she stopped and turned to face the current King of Luna Kingdom. "Well, I'm meeting with someone. You're more than welcome to join."
Keres dipped his head before following after the pale tan lioness. The two walk through the Outlands before coming to the Pridelands border where three lionesses stood. As Zira and Keres got closer, she recognized them as her Nyah and her followers, Helen and Dawn.
"What the hell, Nyah!" Zira snapped, amber eyes blazing in annoyance. "Don't you know how to keep that trap of yours shut!"
Nyah stood where she was, in between Helen and Dawn. With a annoyed growl, "You wanted help did you not? Besides they are loyal to me. They want Simba, Nala, Kiara and Sherise gone as well."
Keres' amber eyes widened at the name that came from the creamy lioness' muzzle. "What did you say?"
Nyah looked from Zira to the unknown black lion. "What do you mean?"
Keres narrowed his eyes. "You mentioned a Sherise. Tell what me what you know."
Nyah scoffed before turning to Zira. "Is he for real?"
Zira growled before turning to her male ally. "What's going on with you?"
Keres wasn't sure what to say. That Sherise was the name of the only thing keeping him from being the rightful ruler of Luna Kingdom. He had his spy birds feeding him information. Just he never thought he have a chance to eliminate the threat.
With a deep breath, he shook his head. "Nothing. Continue."
Zira huffed before turning back to Nyah. "I'm sure you heard about Sherise and Kiara's run in with Kovu."
Helen, a creamy tan lioness rolled her light brown eyes. "Simba won't shut up about it."
Dawn, the light grey lioness on Nala's left laughed before nodding her head in agreement with the creamy tan lioness.
"Well. I have the perfect plan." Zira grinned. "I'll use Kovu to get to the crowned-princess. Where he will kill Simba."
Nyah liked the plan. But Zira's next words knocked her out of her fantasies of the future.
"I know you hate our neice. But you need to get close. Well meet up again in a few months to discuss operation; rogue."
Nala nodded before turning to head back to her cave near the borders with Helen and Dawn following behind.
While Zira and Keres headed back into the Outlands to inform the rest of the Outsiders of the plan.
...
After Zira's announcement, Gwen pulled her step-daughter aside.
"We need to talk." Gwen walked away from the others that weren't all trustworthy.
Zira turned towards her spy from the Pridelands, Haviva. After dismissing the chestnut brown lioness. She followed after the white lioness.
"What's going on, Gwen."
Gwen took a deep breath before facing the younger lioness. "We have a problem. My mother sent word from the Tree of Life. The next rulers are planning to come to the Pridelands."
"So. What does that have to do with anything?" Zira was starting to get irritated.
"It has something to do with everything!" Gwen growled. "The Prince and his mate are coming to the Pridelands to report you for murder and kidnapping. We're not ready to go to war."
Zira growled. "Damn. Does anybody else know?"
Gwen snarled bitterly. "Not that Aloria has said. Just Prince Sãhasí and his mate, Ãnanda."
Zira narrowed her eyes in determination. "Gather Nakiri and Fai along with our strongest and best fighters. I'm close with our plan to kill Simba, noting and I mean nothing will stand in our way."
