Ginny Weasley and Athena Blackwood were tip-toeing around the castle corridors, peeking their heads around a wall, watching the silhouette of Marion Hart scurry down the halls.

It had been an hour and from dinner Marion hadn't done anything suspicious except take a private snog inside the boom closet.

"Where do you think she's going?" Athena whispered.

"Dunno" Ginny answered with a shrug as they proceeded to crouch, following Marion.

Marion walked calmly down the halls. Her footsteps could be heard throughout the entire castle, but she could care less.

"Out after curfew" came a gruff voice from the left of her.

"Oh, sorry" she pouted, faking her apology.

"Come with me Miss" Filch ordered and Marion raised an eyebrow.

Ginny Weasley watched as Marion had begun to use her veela charms on Filch. She inwardly gagged at the idea of Filch and Marion.

"I'm really sorry about being out after curfew" she apologized in a sickly sweet voice, "You can leave me now. I swear I'll be a good girl."

"Oh my god, I'm gonna vomit" Athena gagged and Ginny had to stifle her giggles.

Mrs.Norris hissed at the blond witch, almost in jealousy as a charmed Filch merely grinned sheepishly at the girl. Marion glared daggers at the cat before flashing a charming smile to Filch.

Filch nearly fainted at the sight and nodded, waving his goodbyes to the veela girl. Mrs.Norris glared at the girl with her blood red eyes and sauntered off with Filch.

"Thank god that's over" Ginny whispered to Athena.

"I know, I swear it looked like Filch was about to start snogging her right there" Athena spoke with a laugh.

"That would have been disgustingly hilarious" Ginny commented as they watched Marion turn left and walk into Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.

They both turned to each other, giving one another a questioning look as they got up from their crouching position and walking quietly towards the bathroom.

The door was ajar slightly and the two could have a good view of what the girl was doing. Marion was kneeling on the floor, in front of a standard black cauldron. There was a clear, bright gold liquid bubbling inside, smelling rather foul.

"Ew" Athena scrunched her nose in distaste, "What is that?"

Ginny narrowed her eyes at the potion. Now she wished that she paid more attention to Slughorn and his lessons. She recognized the potion, but she had no clue from where. The smell was distinct. It was so bad, that she knew that she would remember it somewhere, but she couldn't pinpoint the exact potion it was.

"I recognize it, but I'm not sure," Ginny replied.

Athena nodded, continuing to watch the blond veela stir whatever was in the cauldron. Marion hummed to herself as she continued to stir the potion clockwise.

"Only a week left," she said to herself.

Ginny wondered what Marion could mean by that. One week left? Did the demented girl mean that the potion only needed one week left to brew?

"Finally, I've been waiting two months," Marion giggled maniacally.

Two months? What potion took two months to brew? She didn't know, but that meant that the potion had to be extremely advanced and backbreaking. This was a powerful potion and Ginny was worried.

Marion got up from her kneeling position and stood up. Moaning Myrtle wasn't in the vicinity and was probably finding another place to wallow in her pity and cry. Marion stepped towards the door of the bathroom, pausing for a second.

Ginny and Athena both moved away from the door, hiding in a space behind a knight statue. Ginny's hand was over Athena's mouth, making sure the girl did not make any noise. Athena was breathing heavily on Ginny's hand, making Ginny's face scrunch up in disgust.

The door to the bathroom shut loudly and Ginny released Athena, both of them breathing heavily.

"We should go" Athena said and Ginny agreed, nodding as they both got up from their hiding place and ran towards their respective common rooms.

"What exactly am I looking for?" Athena yelled to Ginny.

"Shhh!" Madam Pince scolded and Athena lowered her head sheepishly.

"Sorry..."

"A potion that's golden, smells like shit, and takes 2 months to brew" Ginny clarified and Athena nodded, diving her head back into the book.

This was one of the rare moments that someone would see Athena Blackwood with a potions book in hand and actually reading it. Usually, the girl just carried it around, pretending to read it to look busy in front of Professor Slughorn.

"Gold potion, gold potion" Athena muttered to herself as she rapidly flipped the pages of the advanced potions book.

"I think I've got it!" Athena shouted excitedly and Madam Pince hissed at her again.

Ginny dropped her potions book in a flash and rushed over to Athena. "Where? Where? Where?" Ginny asked frantically.

Athena's fingers traced the words, "Liquid Luck?"

Ginny gave a heavy sigh. She was truly trying not to be upset at Athena for her lack of knowledge in potions, but it was starting to get irritating.

"No, it's not liquid luck" Ginny sighed and Athena gave her a look, apologizing. "Liquid Luck takes 6 months to brew."

"Oh, sorry" Athena apologized, her head dipping down in shame.

"No, it's alright. Just double check before giving me so much hope" Ginny sighed sadly before returning to her book.

Adeleine felt absolutely elated, like she was floating on a cloud as she walked through the halls of Hogwarts. After the date from last night, she felt as if she could do anything and didn't have any reason to doubt Draco's affections for her.

Draco had quidditch practice so she left him to go to the library. She was going to attempt to write a letter to Pandora and confirm her RSVP to the wedding and rehearsal dinner.

With a fresh parchment in hand and a quill in her messy bun, she got to writing her draft letter.

Dear Pandora,

Thank you for writing to me. My father is lucky to have you and I'm glad that you understand why I hadn't wanted to come in the first place. My father has a lot of faults and has made many mistakes that are unforgivable, but a wise person told me that I didn't have to forgive him for his past actions. I can only hope to move forward and because of you I have decided to attend the wedding.

I don't know much about you or you and my fathers relationship, but I know that you are good for him. It seems that you two share many things together and he was able to keep you, even though he has told you about his problematic past. I can only wish to find love like that. I wish you the best.

I will be attending the wedding and the rehearsal dinner next week. If my father asks why I am attending then tell him it's because of his amazing, relentless fiance.

Regards, Adeleine

Adeleine reread her letter and decided that it was good enough to be sent. She was walking out of the library when she watched Athena pick a book from the shelves and start reading it.

Her eyes widened and she immediately thought that someone either possessed Athena or the girl was terribly ill. Ginny had a stack of 5 books on her desk and she was furiously flipping through pages, fast enough that she had got a paper cut.

"Are you guys alright?" Adeleine asked warily.

Ginny looked like a crazed maniac. Her pupils were blown wide and she was beginning to sweat. Athena was sweating, just from opening a book.

"We'refine" Ginny dismissed Adeleine and she turned to Athena.

"Are you sure?" Adeleine raised an unimpressed brow.

"Yeah, definitely" Athena brushed her off, but she wasn't able to disguise the higher pitch in her voice that she only did when she was lying.

Adeleine sank her head down, saddened because suddenly her friends were lying to her. First Draco and now Athena. She wondered what she could have possibly done to make the girls hide things from her and keep secrets.

Ginny noticed this. "Wait! Wait!"

Adeleine turned around to a panting Ginny.

"Do you know a potion that's a kind of golden color, smells terrible, and takes about two months to brew?" Ginny asked and Adeleine looked up to the ceiling to think.

"Well, off the top of my mind the one I immediately think of is Polyjuice, why?" Adeleine answered and Ginny's eyes were blown wide.

She quickly composed herself in front of Adeleine and plastered on a fake smile. "Okay! Thank you!"

Adeleine nodded, confused as to why the two girls were acting so odd, but didn't think much of it. She hoped that they would tell her eventually and probably needed time to come forward. Adeleine walked out of the library to send the letter.

"Athena! Athena!" Ginny panted, out of breath and ignoring the scolding that Madam Pince gave her.

"Yeah?" the clueless blond girl asked.

"It's Polyjuice potion."
