Chapter 51
World Conference Begins!
Second Civilization, Superpower Mu, Eastern Port City Maikal
The sky was clear, the weather wasn't too hot, wasn't too cold, and the smell of the sea was pleasant. Sea birds cried off in the distance. A man of elderly age sat watching the port from his chair.
"Maikal sure has changed over the last year," he remarked to the woman next to him.
A couple of ships were anchored at the port: two large tankers flying a winged shield and staff flag and a RORO ship with the Empire-class Astral ship's model. After the renovations finished about half a year ago, the port was now deep enough to support large ships like that tanker. Up on the land, there were numerous huge, cylindrical oil tanks standing in rows. On the south side of Maikal, a petrochemical plant had been constructed. Until recently, a plant of that size would have been completely impossible for Mu, but it had just started operations last month.
Now that they knew how to build this kind of state-of-the-art plant, Mu's major corporations had expanded into Maikal and begun widespread construction. Capital investment in Mu was the highest it had ever been, and the unprecedented construction rush continued on without end.
"Isn't that the truth? It's like they're chasing after Celestina; everywhere you look, the scenery's changing. The month after next, apparently, the sky will be opening up to private citizens, too."
In order to accommodate Celestina's jets and sky train or known as Galaxy Railways, the airports that Mu had built in various countries had to have their air traffic control functions overhauled and their sturdy runways further improved and elongated. The train station was also established at the airport, allowing direct transit from the airport to the train station.
"That reminds me, lately you see a lot of Celestinian cars on the roads."
"They're the best you can get right now, after all."
Mu didn't adopt any protectionist policies, so Celestinian cars were selling like hotcakes to the wealthy. Between the quickly-growing Principality of Qua-Toyne, the Kingdom of Louria that was currently upgrading its infrastructure, and the unending demand for Celestinian cars in the Third Civilization, Celestina's factories were at a high capacity day in and day out. So far, Celestina can keep up with demand, which causes resource gathering and delivery to the factory to become one of the most recommended jobs for adventurers. Dungeons that produce production materials are full of adventurers, causing the guild to raise the reward proportionally to the point where the companies are putting up seasonal requests, as adventurers must fulfill the requirements before the next season arrives. Finally, because of the New World Technology Outflow Configuration, Celestina and Mu are currently establishing factories that can procure vehicles and equipment that Mu demanded, which is set for operational in six months.
Every country also had its eyes on Celestina's video and telecommunications technology, yearning to set up a government-managed television network and constructing radio towers to help realize that ambition. However, very few countries were equipped to generate electricity, so there were just as many orders for power plants, which also couldn't be fulfilled quickly. Celestina manages to offer the alternative by selling a crystal ball that serves in place of a television network and a telephone powered with magic for communications. On top of that, countries in the Third Civilization passed various governmental bills in order to provide support for Celestinian mobile network. This makes the Lottery Mouse Research Industry create a magic-based transmitter as a temporary measure to comply with the Third Civilization demand.
That wasn't the end of the construction woes. Port renovation requests were also endless, and so far, all ports are under renovation except Duro and Verlaine by diverting MCV and Crawler to support the construction. For both Duro and Verlaine, the construction was completed earlier than scheduled due to support from the Eclipse Empire. There were floods of orders for tankers in the shipbuilding industry, generating a waiting list for up to a year. Even the clothing industry was affected; the cloth was being exported in bulk. Both sewing technology and Celestinian fashion were very popular, so they were the busiest they had ever been in history. Celestina sells various clothes from all eras. As the clothes can be augmented with abilities to support the users, the customer must be at least D-Rank Adventurer, and Sage Ore augmentation must be at least S-Rank Adventurer.
Because of multiple requests and Celestina can't just deploy their citizens for numerous reasons, Mu's citizens who are once unemployed become an adventurer to help Mu grow the economy. Seasonal quests become the most popular quests as the adventurer can take more days off once the quota demanded by industries was complete.
Because of the Technology Outflow Configuration and their enormous lead in technological advancement, Celestina's economy has skyrocketed, writing a new all-time record for fifty years. The growth itself reaches almost fifty percent, breaking the previous record of twenty-nine percent, the moment before the Sixth Interstellar War breaks out.
The Celestina Empire, Imperial Capital of Rawley, Prontera, Eleonora's Office
"Things have become problematic for all of us. Her Liege, Randgris Flauvel, also requests the Valkyries to assist them, even though they were aware of their presence."
"Even her as well? Does Shina gives her permission?"
"Yes, Ma'am. Madam Shina has given her permission to assist."
"Well… So many hegemonies to consider here, and yet, we need to keep act cautiously as we continue to spread influence throughout the world. The doctrine of the Papaldia Empire that treats countries outside Civilization area as a barbarian nation, also the possibility of the Gra Valkas Empire possessing Nuclear Weapons."
After the Celestina – Papaldian War, the Main Council decided to take a stance of on guard. Celestina strengthened their defenses, intensifying the War Games, increasing the military budget from twenty-eight percent to thirty-five percent, and the adventurers' guild budget also increased from twelve percent to fifteen percent. There is plenty of directive from the Main Council, listed as:
Reactivating the Glassing Technology, with any Starship capable of deploying it, will undergo massive modification. The technology itself will be deployed when necessary, as it could be used when laying siege at the Gra Valkas Empire's capital, Ragna.
Celestina Starships, practically Cromwell-class Support Vessel, and Archangel-class Carrier will be used as a reference to create Frigate-sized Starships to strengthen the combat efficiency. The Naval Project is currently underway, earning a new class with the name of the Redemptio-class Support Ship.
Reinforce the barrier defenses by increasing the defense tier, primarily at least expected area and coastal area. Coastal Town will upgrade the barrier from Tier 3 to Tier 2, the least expected area will upgrade the defenses to Tier 2, and the heavy military installation will upgrade to Tier 1.
Intensify the War Games and increasing the standard of adventurers enlistment to the military. The Ministry of Defense will automatically admit all Adventurers at B+ Rank as a reserve unit. They will be ready to be deployed for joint military operation if they refuse to join the active military unit.
All military personnel will be equipped with energy shielding technology during the military operation.
Expand the Galaxy Railways project by establishing an Airport Station and the complementary to support the project.
Reviving the Ion Cannon Technology as a safeguard for Glassing Technology.
Those who wish to procure a Sage Ore require licensing from Shina, Reynes, and the Main Council.
Dispatch adventurers overseas to boost up the economy by establishing Adventurers Guild as the base of operation.
Research new military arsenals and equipment.
Etc.
"Shiaatt… Isn't this a bucket list, Grand Duchess?"
"I guess with your remaining time as a Ministry of Defense, you could ask those who wish to become the next Ministry of Defense a tough challenge."
"You got the point there…"
With it, Douglas Grant returns to his office to resume his work.
The Gra Valkas Empire, Imperial Capital Ragna
The empire was having an important meeting in order to determine the future of the country.
"We will now commence the imperial audience."
As the announcer declared, the meeting began. All the attendees were already informed of the plan, so this meeting was the final confirmation of everyone's consent.
"Caesar, Myrkenses, the international leadership conference will start soon. How are the preparations progressing?"
Emperor Gra Lukas directed this inquiry at the imperial navy eastern fleet Caesar, and the judgment army commander, Myrkenses.
"Yes, Your Excellency, all preparations are complete," Myrkenses answered.
"Yes, Your Excellency, but we have a problem. Captain Luxtal reports that someone has been keeping an eye on us a whole time. He's currently unable to determine which one is responsible for this." Caesar replies with concern.
"Your Excellency, as we have discussed before, there is no such thing as a country that keeps an eye on us. Nobody in this world can keep an eye on us at all times. We can continue with the plan." praised Chief Mobarl from the Foreign Affairs Bureau. "We will make sure that we make every country kneel before us." He said that with confidence.
"Surely this won't cause us to fall behind the Holy Mirishial Empire, would it? They are purportedly the 'strongest country in the world,' after all."
"It's out of the question for us to fall behind any of these natives. Once you see their weapon design philosophy, you'll understand why that country's been headed in the wrong direction. Nothing in this world can stop us."
"I see… But it bothers me as well, Caesar. What if the Celestina Empire did keep an eye on us?"
"Then we have to eliminate them should they become an actual threat. But I heard that they are the country of adventurers."
"Yes, I've heard that as well, but… I will approve of this endeavor. I'm counting on you all!"
The imperial audience ended.
Holy Milishial Empire, Port Town Cartalpas, 18th April 1527 / 228
Cartalpas had extensive port facilities. That was the reason it was chosen to be the location of the 11-country international leadership conference; it could easily accommodate each country's ambassador and their military escorts. The port authorities were keeping tallies on each country as they arrived.
"First Civilization, Torquia Kingdom is arriving! Seven ships-of-the-line and one delegation boat, eight in all!"
"Got it, have Eriahe from the First Civilization greet them."
The ships arriving at the port were assigned an appropriate guide.
"First Civilization, the nation of Agarta is nearly here, a convoy of six magic ships and two civilian ships."
"Got it."
The port manager, Bronze, loved the leadership conference. All the countries used "escorting our diplomats" as an excuse to roll out their latest warships in a show of strength. To a military fanatic like him, working this event was basically like being at a festival.
"None of them are as impressive as the ships in the zeroth magic fleet, but I digress."
Normally, the only time he would get to see a bunch of warships was when the 0th fleet, which was maintained at a nearby base, assembled each year for a customary, yearly joint training event with some western island countries. And so, Bronze waited with bated breath. For this year's conference, he was most excited to see the ships brought by two countries in particular. One was the militaristic country that took down the western superpower Leifor in the blink of an eye: the Gra Valkas Empire. The other forced the Third Civilization superpower, the Papaldia Empire, to break up into 78 separate countries: the Celestina Empire. What kind of ships did they have? He simply couldn't calm his rapidly beating heart.
That was when the lookouts began causing a ruckus. A gigantic ship, almost as big as a castle, could be seen on the horizon. It only grew in size as it came closer. Even Bronze, who was intimately familiar with the sight of Milishial's magic ships, could only stare speechlessly, captivated by the majesty of such a beautiful, powerful warship approaching the port.
"The Gra Valkas Empire is arriving, only one ship!"
"Ooh!"
Every person who saw the ship was astonished. It was the pride of Gra Valkas, the world's largest, most powerful warship.
- Length: 263.4 meters
- Width: 38.9 meters
- Displacement: 72,800 tonnes
- Propulsion: 150,000 horsepower
The residents of Cartalpas were all completely overwhelmed by the stunning sight.
"The cannons that thing is packing are huge!"
There were three of the 45 calibers, 46 centimeter-barrel triple-gun turrets, the largest cannons in the world, proudly pointing at the horizon. The Gra Valkas Empire's super-dreadnought Grade Atlastar was docking at the Holy Milishial Empire's Cartalpas port. The enormous warship was so large, so intense that the nearby First Civilization ships, Torquia's ships-of-the-line, and Agarta's convoy, looked like toys in comparison. Bronze could only stand there, staring in mute amazement.
"…f! Chief Bronze!"
Having been thoroughly mesmerized by the Eighth Empire's warship, it took the shouts from Bronze's subordinates to bring him to his senses.
"Ah, um, what is it?!"
"Celestina has arrived! They have one cruiser and eight destroyers, nine in all!"
Bronze took out his binoculars and looked out to sea. On the horizon, he saw a ship smaller than the Grade Atlastar, but it displays six Flak 88R, paired with the six twins 30mm Point Defense Gun and 25cm Magnetic Accelerator Cannon. The eight destroyers are armed with 25cm Plasma Cannon and 25cm Magnetic Accelerator Cannon along with the main gun of 127mm.
"W-what is that thing!?"
"They even have weapons that we don't know before!"
Looking at the ship, the people of Milishial are gazing at both warships.
As planned months before the conference, the Celestina Empire decides to dispatch the 1st Expeditionary Fleet under the command of Commander Brunestud. Even the Main Council had received a message from Milishial saying, "Allow us to plan the protection of your Minister for Foreign Affairs," they did not trust them and decide to send the 1st Expeditionary Fleet along with Recon Prowler Team Alpha. The Prowlers is led by Commander Faira Desirae, who had just been promoted four months before this conference.
The Prowlers are patrolling around the Southern Seas of Cartalpas, observing the situation. In the meantime, a Cromwell-class Support Vessel, Silver Prowler, serves as the accommodation for the Prowler Team Alpha, stationed at the Middle Orbit of the Ravernal Planet.
The Main Council dispatch Sofya, Alicia, and Shina, and they participate as an escort for Armada, Tiamat, and Dragzell, who insist on coming along. Their job is to escort a team of diplomats led by Captain Michelle LaCroix. Alicia will entrust the diplomat talks to LaCroix.
"Captain. I will leave the taunting of the Gra Valkas Empire to you."
"Consider it done, Grand Duchess."
"Both of your height is already caught their attention."
"I supposed it couldn't be helped about it…"
Both Armada and Tiamat only feel like their height alone already caught the attention of the locals. They went into the conference building as Alicia instruct Faira to expand the patrol.
"Commander, if you found the 0th Fleet, keep an eye on them. If the battle breaks out, observe the battle."
"Yes, Grand Duchess."
Holy Milishial Empire, Port Town Cartalpas, Imperial Cultural Center
The Imperial Cultural Center was a symbol of prosperity; it was luxurious, gorgeous, and exuded dignity. Alicia, Sofya, and Shina from the Main Council and Main Advisor walked into that very same cultural center, the venue for the international conference. After confirming their seats' location, they went out to the lobby to drink some tea from their canteens while waiting for the conference to begin. This year's conference would start with a working-level diplomatic meeting. After that, the latter half would be meetings and decision-making between all the foreign affairs leaders. Under the pretext as an escort, Sofya, Alicia, Shina, Armada, Dragzell, and Tiamat act as LaCroix's team escorts.
This would be Celestina's first formal appearance on the world stage since being transferred, and there was no doubt this conference would go down in Celestinian history. LaCroix didn't show any anxiety as the Celestina Empire already used for this, practically when Celestina makes the Council Meeting every year.
"All we know is that the people who are coming here could have the power to move an entire country," LaCroix comments as she sips the coffee. "Hmm… This coffee ain't bad."
"True. But we prefer to take things slowly first."
While they chatted, a group of four people walked up to them. They bow to Shina as they welcome her. But, they feel sweaty because of the pressure that Armada and Tiamat emit.
"W-what brings you here, Madam Shina?"
"I'm here as an escort for the diplomat. Did you hear my orders during my visit to Eimor? Or maybe Wagdran is too stupid to ignore it."
"Uuuh… Well… He just sends ten Wind Dragons and the Riders… He can't send more since he didn't want to violate your orders further."
"Hmph. Leave the security to us. I do not wish to see the wind dragon dies in the hands of the Gra Valkas aircraft."
"Y-yes, Ma'am."
Once the diplomats from Eimor leave, another group visits them. They had a unique outfit instead in the eyes of Celestina, and they stopped before LaCroix.
"Are you gentlemen perhaps… Celestinian?"
"Yes, that's correct."
"I am from the Central World's nation of Agarta, Maggi from the Office of Foreign Affairs. I am pleased to make your acquaintance."
He held out his right hand.
"Celestina Ministry of Foreign Affairs, LaCroix. It's very nice to meet you."
LaCroix took the outstretched hand and shook it firmly. Maggi grinned amicably.
"Madam LaCroix, it is my honor to meet you. Rumors of Celestina's battle prowess have spread all the way to the Central World. In this world of magic, you have progressed with both powers of magic and science. Even though your country is in the far eastern reaches, you challenged and crushed the Papaldia Empire, truly a land of brave peoples outside the civilization areas. Even the superpower Mu, who prioritizes scientific technology, still relies on magic to some extent. However, I have heard that Celestina is a curious country that loves to go on an adventure. Based on our perception of life until now, without the use of magic, it is impossible to build up a proper civilization; it may be unjust, but the prejudice of applying a label of 'barbaric' is very strong. However, even with your country's love for adventure, we have heard that Celestina is very sophisticated. My nation of Agarta has become extremely interested in your country. We would love to arrange a visit if that is at all possible."
"Your words are too kind. Indeed, we welcome visitors from Agarta at any time. In addition, this is Celestina's first time experiencing this international conference. We will be relying on your lead here. If you wish to visit Celestina, you can inquire about one of Celestina's leaders, Grand Duchess Alicia," LaCroix replied smilingly.
"O… Ooohh… So the Celestina Empress also comes to this meeting. I'm flattered."
"Pay me no heed. I'm Alicia Permeal, Grand Duchess of the Celestina Empire. Just tell when you will come, and we will prepare an appropriate schedule for you."
"Oh, definitely. I will inform you as soon as I got approval from my homeland."
The eleven-country leadership conference will begin momentarily. We ask all attendees to please find their seats.
At this announcement, LaCroix and the others went to find their seats.
Fifteen minutes later~
"The eleven-country leadership conference will now commence."
In the Imperial Cultural Center's meeting hall, the announcer declared the kickoff of the conference. This would be where the direction of the world would be decided (or at least the area considered to be "the world" by these countries), and this conference included nearly every country currently receiving attention and scrutiny around the world. The conference was scheduled to last for about a week. It was a great honor to be invited to participate, and all participating countries, except one, would become known as powerful, world-influencing forces.
If it were from Celestina's perspective, it would be similar to the Council Meeting, but people can discuss it to find a proper answer for every case Celestina brings.
Celestina was attending this time, but they were not yet a yearly participant. Both they and the Gra Valkas Empire would need to be approved at this conference in order to become regular attendees. The Papaldia Empire lost an enormous amount of national power, and Leifor was nearly erased from existence, so the only regular attendees were currently the following:
- The magic-based Holy Milishial Empire (Central World)
- The land of dragonfolk, the Eimor Kingdom (Central World)
- Mu, the nation of science (Second Civilization)
Alongside these three countries, the other attendees at this year's conference were:
- Gra Valkas Empire (outside civilized areas, west of Second Civilization)
- Celestina Empire (outside civilized areas, east of Third Civilization)
- Torquia Kingdom (Central World)
- Nation of Agarta (Central World)
- Magicarraich Collective (Second Civilization)
- Nigrato Union (Second Civilization)
- The Great Magic Duchy of Pandora (Third Civilization)
- The Empire of Anionnrial (outside civilized areas, southern regions)
Only the most powerful countries had been gathered, so once the conference began, the meeting hall atmosphere became tense.
LaCroix looked around. There were many representatives of other races aside from humans, but it would seem she won't be bothered by it.
An emissary from Eimor looks at Shina silently, making her give a slight nod and raising his hand. The coordinator called on him, permitting him to speak. Even though they only had a population of a million, the dragonfolk country still carried the title of world superpower. The Eimorsh emissary stood up. He boasted a height of two meters, red hair, red eyes, and two horns growing from his head.
"I am Moriaul from the Eimor Kingdom. I have a message to convey to you all. This is a very grave matter, so please, listen well."
The hall quieted down.
"Recently, we conducted a divination of space."
Eimor's space divination was known to be extremely accurate, so all the representatives were eager to listen. But, as the agreement between Shina and Eimor, nobody in Eimor is allowed to mention her until she permits it.
"What we have learned is… the resurrection of the ancient sorcerous empire, the Empire of Ravernal, will soon be upon us."
!
The temperature in the room instantly dropped.
"How… How could this be!"
"If the legends are all true, then we have no means to resist them!"
The hall erupted in a panicked chatter. Moriaul continued speaking.
"Because of distortion in space, we don't have precise information on when or where it will be, but, from our calculations, we predict that they will reappear somewhere in the world sometime between four to seventeen years from now. How much we are able to resist them, how true the legends are, both are unknown. However, we do know, from the tales that have been passed down and from their ruins that have been excavated, that their civilization is advanced beyond imagination. We implore all countries here not to engage in needless conflict, strengthen your militaries, and for the world to unite in order to prepare for the return of the Empire of Ravernal."
Whispered discussions broke out throughout the hall, and various ambassadors were nodding their heads fervently. The Etanaru Empire's information, the Empire that creates Ravernal as an Imperial branch of Etanaru, was kept secret. Shina didn't want it leaked, as they have never faced such an opponent that is stronger than the Ravernal Empire.
The sound of laughter suddenly rose up from among the crowd, and it came from a single woman in her late twenties.
"Heheheh… Haaaahahaha!"
Many of the people in the hall looked at her with accusing eyes.
"Oh my, that was rude of me. I'm from the Gra Valkas Empire's Foreign Affairs Bureau, the eastern otherworld division chief Cielia. I don't know anything about a 'sorcery empire' or whatever, but the fact that you natives are all scared of some old fossils just amazes me. In the first place, you put together this huge international conference, and the first thing we hear is some fortune-telling? And the one saying it is what this world considers a 'superpower' country? Gimme a break. Our empire stomped all over Leifor, and, as weak as they were, they also had this 'superpower' title, I hear. 'International conference' my ass…"
"How dare you! You're just a newcomer! You speak above your station!" the ambassador of Torquia, Eimor's close ally, shouted.
Moriaul did not look perturbed in the least. "So you are from the new country, the Gra Valkas Empire, huh. If I recall correctly, yours is a nation of humans who know not of magic. Humans with low magical power certainly enjoy vomiting out meaningless words. We hold no expectations for those of your ilk."
"Subhumans like you don't even understand the true power of science… Our empire has no use for your palm readings."
"You call us subhuman, below humans?! We are a nation of dragonfolk, you churl!"
The venue dissolved into mayhem while the coordinator tried to calm things down.
Dragzell looks at Cielia and makes a silent comment, "She looks cute… Ouch!"
Armada and Shina notice it, but Shina stomps his feet with her feet, making a silent reprimand.
"This conference is already crazy from the start," Alicia remarks the situation while sipping her tea.
"I agree with it. Even at the Council Meeting, it's not going to where someone bluntly makes a move like that." Sofya was also nodding while sipping her tea.
Armada, Tiamat, and Alicia watch the situation with mild amusement. Once the hall finally quieted down, Mu was given the floor by the moderator.
"My country of Mu has submitted a statement of censure against the Gra Valkas Empire here at the international leadership conference. We would like to enforce two years of economic sanctions against them for their large-scale invasion of the Irnatea Kingdom's capital city of Kirkuls. While the two countries were indeed at war, in this case, their actions were clearly excessive. If we do not curb their behavior, it is very possible that the entire world order will crumble."
Next, the Holy Milishial Empire requested the floor.
"Indeed, the Gra Valkas Empire's actions are eroding the balance of the world. If they continue their conquest across the Second Civilization, the Holy Mirishial Empire will have no choice but to intervene. We agree with Mu's proposal and further request that the Gra Valkas Empire immediately withdraw from all Second Civilization lands."
When the country recognized as strongest in the world threatened to step in, the people there to hear it found themselves shuddered violently, more than willing to bend to Milishial's will. Everyone turned to catch the response from the beautiful Gra Valkan diplomat, Cielia. She seemed unfazed.
"First of all, I have only one thing to say. Our empire did not come to this conference to contribute an opinion or anything. This was a gathering of the most influential countries in this region, so we came to make an announcement. In the name of Emperor Gra Lukas of the Gra Valkas Empire, we hereby declare to all you bastards: obey us. To those who pledge loyalty to our empire, we promise eternal prosperity. However, those who do not obey will be shown no mercy. Silence will be taken as dissent. So now, let me ask. Right here, right now, will any country swear loyalty?"
For a second, there was only silence.
"Is this woman delusional?"
"What garbage!"
"Stupid barbarian, babbling like a fool."
Her sudden, nonsensical ultimatum was met with a storm of harsh retorts. As the room filled up with clamor, the angry shouts started to mix into wordless aggression.
"As we thought, no one's gonna submit right now. Well, of course, you wouldn't. The emperor is generous, though. If you must wait first to witness our might, he does not mind. When the time comes, visit my bureau in Leifor. Heh, your countries might be nursing some broken bones by that point, though. Well then, you filthy natives, you've certainly gotten our message!"
"So by that means you will sacrifice your prided warship?"
The attention goes to the Celestinian diplomat, Michelle LaCroix. The venue fell silent as they will hear two new countries that earn their title as a Superpower challenging each other.
"What did you say?"
"I said if you do behave like that… Or if your Empire behaves like that, you will feel the first humiliation by the Celestina Empire's hands. Oh, and I apologize for not introducing myself. I'm from the Celestina Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Michelle LaCroix. If you choose to leave this conference after this nonsense speak of yours, Grade Atlastar, isn't it? Will suffer their first defeat. Oh, and make sure you send the message to your Barbarian Emperor, Punk Emperor, or whatever his name is, to back off, or we will treat him like a sheep to the slaughter. Unless if you choose to remain here and receive condemnation from those who condemn Gra Valkas, we will applaud you."
Cielia, incited by LaCroix's provoke, replies in anger.
"You will regret insulting our Empire…! I will make sure your ship will be turned into a pile of scrap by our warship. By insulting his Emperor, you just commit a Lese Majeste!"
"Go ahead. I'm sure he will be dumbstruck when he saw Gra Valkas's Crown Jewel is beaten to smithereens. We will be delighted when your Emperor is kneeling and begging for our mercy."
"You…!"
Suppressing her anger, the Gra Valkas Empire's ambassador exited the room in the middle of the international leadership conference. Armada chants a voiceless spell as she leaves the room, so Cielia can saw a foresight for what happens when the Gra Valkas Empire fought against the Celestina Empire. Dragzell makes a malicious smile when she leaves the conference.
As she left the port entirely, the first day of the conference ended.
Days left in the conference: 6.
The Celestina Empire, Western Islands, 0th Fleet Location, the next day
Arcus, a Radar-class Prowler, found the Holy Milishial 0th Fleet, and it's now flying at thirty-five thousand meters above the ocean. The drone was quickly dispatched upon receiving a report that the Gra Valkas Empire's Navy is moving in to attack the 0th Fleet. Faira radio Alicia upon discovery.
"Grand Duchess Permeal. We found them."
"Good work. Have you call another Prowler?"
"Astrid already arrives on the scene."
"Excellent. Where is the Grade Atlastar?"
"They didn't join in the battle, Ma'am."
"All right… I bet she's pissed now."
Mirishial's 0th magic fleet was currently out training in the islands. In some parts of these waters, visibility was very bad. There were three magic warships, two armored cruisers, three magic gunboats, and eight other accompanying ships, a fleet of sixteen. This was the grand fleet said to have no equal in this world, and they made great efforts to maintain their high standards through training exercises that closely resembled live combat.
Faira found the Gra Valkas Fleet, heading towards the Milishial 0th Fleet.
"Found the Gra Valkas Fleet. Their number is confirmed for three Battleships, three Heavy Cruisers, two Cruisers, and ten Destroyers, a total of eighteen ships."
"Astrid here. The Holy Milishial notices their arrival."
"Roger that. Let's record this battle."
The battle of the Western Islands, or known as the Battle of Magdola, will be written in the Holy Milishial Empire and the Celestina Empire's history as the destruction of the Holy Milishial's Naval Superiority.
Author's note:
It feels blissful that pissing the Gra Valkas Empire off, but surely they will be humiliated, though.
For those who didn't know about Leaders 101, there is a story about it at Scribble Hub.
