Chapter 53

The next morning, Ash and the others got up from the bad at around 8 o'clock, finished with their breakfast, checked out of the Pokémon Center, and started going across Ecruteak City to go to Mahogany Town, where the next gym is located.

But just as they left the Pokémon Center, and started walking away, they all heard some bells ringing from across the City, which meant that the entire City was able to hear it.

"What are those bells," Serena asked?

"I don't know." Misty replied.

"Could it be the bells from the Tin Tower?" Brock asked.

"But didn't Morty said that those bells have never ranged since the day Ho-Oh left," Leaf asked? "And if they do ring again, it will mean that Ho-Oh is coming."

"Hey, Ash, what do you think?" Brock asked, and before Ash could say something, they saw Morty running toward them with some guy with brown hair, purple suit, with some sort of white cape over it, and a red bowtie, running next to him.

"Hey guys, are you still here?" Morty asked, after he and the other guy approached them and stopped running.

"We were about to leave," Ash said. "What is going on?"

"I don't know," Morty said. "But for some reason, the bells in Tin Tower are ringing for the first time in 300 years."

"Does that mean that Ho-Oh is coming?" Serena asked.

"Maybe," Morty said, with some excitement in his voice. "But we better go to the Tower and see if there is something wrong there. It's actually where my friend here and I were heading when we run into you."

Morty then went and introduced his friend as Eusine, who is an expert on research of Ho-Oh and Suicune.

After the introductions were over, everyone started running toward the Tin Tower, and when they got there, they saw that all the golden bells were ringing, so they went to the top floor to check the crystal bells.

"Oh no, the crystal bells are gone!" Morty yelled after he saw the four crystal bells from the Tin Tower have disappeared.

"How did this happened," Eusine asked? "Who could have taken them?"

"I don't know, but this is bad," Morty said, and before anyone could ask, why it was bad, he ran down the stairs of the Tin Tower, and out of it, while the others followed after him.

When they got outside of the Tin Tower, they saw the entire surrounding area, as well as the entire Ecruteak City was covered in webs by the Bug Type Pokémon.

"What the hell happened here?" Misty shouted.

"The Crystal Bells are sacred, and they basically heal the Bug type Pokémon in this area, so now that someone took them, Bug Type Pokémon are angry." Morty explained.

"What are we going to do now?" Leaf asked.

"We have to find the bells and return them to the Tower, or we are doomed." Morty said.

Ash then sensed something with his Aura powers, and said. "I can sense a large group of Bug Type Pokémon gathered on the same place just outside of the City, so there must be something there that made them all gather at one place."

"How do you know that?" Eusine asked, with narrowed eyes.

"I'm an Aura Guardian, and I can feel the presence of others to a certain distance." Ash explained, and Morty and Eusine raised their eyebrows.

"Ok, then, if you are so sure, then led the way," Eusine said. "We must find out what's going on, and that's the best lead we have."

Ash nodded, and then he released his Salamence who was going ahead and was clearing the way with Flamethrower, and Dragon Breath, while the others followed after him.

It took almost 15 minutes, but they all came to the forest outside of the Ecruteak City, and found a bunch of Bug Type Pokémon surrounding some guy who was completely tied up with their strings.

They also saw all four Crystal bells right next to the guy, and realized that he was the one who stole them.

"Who is that guy?" Brock asked, while looking at Morty.

"I don't know," Morty said. "But since the bells are here, that proves he was the one who stole them. The question is, why?"

The Bug Type Pokémon then spotted the group, and started attacking them all at once.

For the next few minutes, everyone used their Pokémon to fight back, and Ash even tried to calm the Pokémon down with his Aura and Psychic powers, but it didn't work, the Bug Types were that angry that they won't see reason.

Misty's, Brock's and Serena's Houndour's even evolved at the same time during the battles, but it didn't help much.

When the Bug Types started overpowering the group and their Pokémon with shear number, and Ash, and his friends were about to released their Legendary Pokémon, suddenly, something ran past them, and the Bug Type Pokémon stopped attacking, and soon all the Pokémon started to flee from the area, and a shiny wind begins to blow, making the webs in the forest disappear.

In a few seconds, the entire area was cleared from the webs, and then everyone looked around, and saw three Pokémon of Legend standing on the hill above them.

"Wow, those are Entei, Raikou and Suicune." Misty stated in awe.

"I cannot believe that all of them showed up here." Morty said, while Eusine was quiet, but deep down he was jumping in joy, as he was finally able to see his favorite Pokémon, Suicune.

Eusine then walked forward, without paying attention to anyone around him, and challenged Suicune to the battle, much to everyone's shock.

"Eusine, what are you doing?" Morty asked.

"This is my chance, Morty," Eusine said. "I have been searching for Suicune for almost my entire life, and I can't just miss my chance to catch it."

Before Morty or anyone could say anything, Ash noticed something coming from the sky right at the three Legendary Beast's, and shouted. "WATCH OUT!"

But it was too late, as the machine that came from the sky, trapped three Pokémon in three separate cages, that were constantly zapping Suicune and Entei with Electricity every time they touch it which was paralyzing them from static, and Raikou's cage also had some kind of crystal that was draining its electric powers every time Raikou tried to use them.

"What the hell is going on," Morty yelled? "Who is doing this?"

"Whoever is in that ship up there, are the ones who are doing this." Ash said, and everyone looked up, and saw some weird looking, but gigantic flying ship, and they then saw the legendary beasts being pulled towards the ship.

"We need to stop that ship from taking Entei, Raikou and Suicune," Misty said.

"I agree, but how?" Morty asked, and just then, Poke Ball with Lugia opened up, and she came out of it, much to the surprise of Ash and his friends, and Morty and Eusine looked like they were having a stroke when they saw Lugia.

"Lugia, why did you come out?" Ash asked.

"Ash, she's there," Lugia said, while tears were forming in her eyes. "My mom is there. That's the ship that took her away, and I can sense her up there as well."

"Is that so," Ash said, and then his eyes glowed yellow, and he started leaking some Aura, which scared everyone. "Let's go, Lugia."

Ash said, and climbed on Lugia's back, and she flew up toward the flying ship.

After few moments, Morty and Eusine came back to reality, and looked at Ash's friends. "Is there something you want to tell us?" Morty asked.

Everyone looked at him, and Misty sighed, and said. "We will explain later, but let's wait for Ash and Lugia to come back first."

Morty and Eusine looked at them for a few moments, and then nodded, and decided to wait for the explanation.

But then they remembered about the guy who stole the Crystal Bells, and the bells themselves, and they all looked at him, making the guy gulped under the stares.

As Ash flew with Lugia toward the flying ship or a palace or whatever that thing is, he was getting angrier, as he was able to sense a bunch of Pokémon inside of the ship, and they felt miserable.

"Lugia, use Aeroblast to open a hole in that thing!" Ash said, with his voice sounding deeper than usual, which Lugia managed to figure out that happens every time Ash is angry and uses his Aura and Psychic powers at the same time.

Lugia nodded, and as she got several dozen meters away from the ship, she fired the most powerful Aeroblast she could, as she was as angry as Ash was, and she wanted to free her mother from captivity.

Her attack hit the ship, and caused a big explosion that was seen and heard by almost the entire Ecruteak City, and then the ship started to shake, while also starting to lose altitude. As the ship was going down toward the ground, it looked like it was going to fall in the forest outside of the City.

Ash and Lugia didn't care that the ship was falling and that they might be in danger if they enter inside, as they only cared about releasing Lugia and all the other Pokémon that were captured and held inside.

Like a bullet, Lugia flew inside of the ship through the hole she created, with Ash on her back, and they entered inside of the huge room that was filled with Pokémon held inside the cages or inside of the machines like the one that captured the legendary beasts.

Lugia landed on the floor, and Ash came down from her back. They looked around the ship, and when they saw all the Pokémon held there, it made their blood boil in anger, especially Ash, who looked like a demon, as his eyes were now glowing red instead of yellow, and his Aura, which was now a mix of dark green and black color, was surrounding him completely and was spreading around the room, and then in few moments, enveloped the entire ship, and much to the surprise of everyone on the ground who could see the ship falling down, the ship stopped in midair, and was held by Ash's Aura and Psychic powers.

"What the hell is going on," Eusine asked? "What is that thing that's surrounding the ship?"

"I don't know that that is, as I have never seen it before," Brock said. "But what I do know, is that Ash is angry, and that's really, really bad thing."

"Why?" Morty asked?

"Because he can do anything when he is angry," Brock said. "He can even kill someone."

When he said that, everyone's but Misty's and Leaf's eyes widened, as they were not expecting to hear that.

Serena has even started to shake, as she started to realize that Ash might have actually killed someone in Saffron City, and that's why no one wants to tell her what happened there.

"Ash, what have you done?" Serena thought in her head.

Back on the ship, Ash and Lugia were looking around at a bunch of normal. Legendary and Mythical Pokémon that were help captive.

On top of the Legendary Beasts that were the newest addition to the collection, there were all three Legendary Titans Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, then there was an Eon Duo Latios and Latias, also, there were Heatran, Cresselia.

Then there were Mythical Pokémon Phione, Manaphy, Shymin and some yellow and black feline like Pokémon that Ash actually didn't know about.

And there was a bunch of Shiny, normal and Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon.

On top of them all, there was Lugia stuck in a cage on the floor above the one that the others are.

Once Lugia saw her mother, she started crying, and flew toward her, to release her, but when she tried, she was zapped by a force field that was surrounding her mother.

The old Lugia looked at the younger Lugia, saw the tears, and herd the shouting of the younger Lugia. The older Lugia instantly recognized her as her own daughter, and started crying as well.

While Lugia was trying to free her mother, Ash was trying to calm himself, as he felt like he was going to explode in anger.

Just as he was starting to calm down at least a little, he heard a voice from the same floor on which Lugia is.

"You can stop trying to free her, as those force fields were made to be indestructible." The voice said, and Ash and Lugia looked toward where it came from, and they saw a tall man in his thirties, with green hair, silver eyes, and wearing gray and black clothes, which looked really expensive and made him look important, not that anyone currently on the ship cared about that.

"Who are you?" Ash asked in a voice that should belong to a 13 years old kid, as it sounded very mature and a little demonic.

The guy raised his eyebrows, and took a small step back as he was the look of Ash, but managed to stand his ground, and introduced himself. "My name is Lawrence III, and I'm a collector of rare Pokémon and ancient artifacts. But who are you, and what are you doing on my Flying Palace?"

"So, you are the owner of this ship." Ash said, not answering the question, and Lawrence narrowed his eyes at Ash.

"Yes, I am." He said.

That as all Ash needed to hear, because as soon as Lawrence said it, Ash raised his right arm toward Lawrence, and Lawrence got surrounded by Ash's Aura, and suddenly pulled toward Ash, who grabbed Lawrence by his neck, and started squeezing the life out of him.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now!" Ash said, and Lawrence actually flinched, even though he could barely breathe because of the grip Ash had on his neck.

"Y-you will g-go in j-jail if you k-kill me." Lawrence somehow managed to stutter.

Ash looked at him, and said. "Not good enough," and then squeezed harder. "Try another one."

"Ash, please, don't kill him," Ash and the other Pokémon heard Lugia say it, and they all looked at her. "Please, help me free my mother, and the other Pokémon, and let's leave this place. Just hand that monster to police, and they can lock him up."

Ash looked at Lugia with narrowed eyes, while she, her mother and the other Pokémon waited to see what he will do, and then almost a minute later, Ash sighed, and let Lawrence's neck, and he fell on the floor and started coughing, and tried to catch his breath, as he was having trouble breathing after Ash almost strangled him.

"You are way too soft, Lugia," Ash said, now calmer and his voice back to normal, but still surrounded by dark green and black Aura, and his eyes were still glowing red. "This guy deserves to die, but I will honor your request this one time."

Lugia breather sigh of relief, and thanked Ash, who then flew toward her with his Psychic powers, and looked at the force field that was surrounding Lugia.

"If this thing is powerful enough to keep Lugia inside, then it won't be easy to break it." Ash said.

"Can that monster tell us how to open it?" Lugia asked, and looked at Lawrence along with Ash, but they saw he was unconscious.

"I guess he can't." Ash said.

Ash then sighed again, and started retracting his Aura that was surrounding the entire ship, and the ship started to fall toward the ground again.

The Aura he retracted, then surrounded every single cage that had some Pokémon inside, and then his Aura started pulsing, and Ash actually started sweating, as he was using all of his powers to break the force fields, and free the Pokémon inside.

It took full minute of Ash Aura squeezing the cages and the force fields around them to finally break them, and for the Pokémon to become free of their bindings.

By that point, the flying Palace has already crushed on the ground, but since Ash and all the Pokémon on the ship were enveloped in is Aura, they were not hurt in any way.

The same could not be said about Lawrence, as he was still alive, but bloodied, and probably has a bunch of bones broken.

Ash then released his Aura, and returned to normal, but then fell on the floor, while breathing hard, and sweating buckets.

At that moment, Ash's friends along with Morty and Eusine entered through the hole in the ship, and saw Ash and all the Pokémon inside.

While Morty and Eusine were stunned by all the Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, Ash's friends saw him on the ground, and rushed to him.

"Ash, are you ok," Misty yelled when she approached him, and was holding him? "What happened here?"

Ash looked at his friends and girlfriends, as well as Morty and Eusine, who have come to him as well, along with all the Pokémon that were surrounding them all, and Ash sighed and explained to them what happened in the ship, and what he did.

Everyone was stunned by what they heard, even his friends who knew that Ash is powerful couldn't believe that he was able to break all the force fields that not even Legendary and mythical Pokémon were able to.

"And that's why I'm like this now," Ash said. "I have never used that much power at once, so I'm a bit tired."

"I'm surprised you are even alive after what you did," Morty said. "What kind of human can do something like this?"

Ash smirked and said. "Would you believe me if I tell you that my father is stronger than I am? And that our ancestor, Sir Aaron was even stronger than the two of us."

Everyone looked at him in disbelief at the revelation, until a minute later, Morty said. "Sorry for saying this, but you are all monsters."

Ash actually laughed at this. "You have no idea." Ash said while laughing, and everyone shook their heads.

After that, everyone left the ship, and went outside in the forest, with Ash being helped by Brock and Morty as he was too tired to walk on his own.

All the Pokémon also left the ship, with two Lugia going last.

Once everyone was out of the ship, and Ash was placed to lean on the tree, Eusine and Morty left to call Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy, while the others stayed behind.

Ash looked around, and saw the guy who was captured by the Bug Type Pokémon earlier. He was lying on the ground unconscious, and with some blood on his face.

"What happened to him?" Ash asked.

"We had to get a little physical with him to make him talk." Misty said with a smirk, and Ash smirked back.

"So, what did he say?" Ash asked.

"He said that he was working for Lawrence, and that his job was to take the Crystal Balls from Tin Tower, so that the three Legendary Beasts would show up, and he would then capture them, and then after Ho-Oh shows up, he would capture it as well." Brock explained.

"Is that so," Ash asked, and then smirked again after Brock nodded? "Well, I guess everyone should be thankful to him, because he was successful in summoning it."

Ash said, and everyone looked at him confused by what he meant, but then they heard a screech from the air, and when everyone looked up, there was a majestic sight of Oh-Oh flying in the sky, and actually coming toward everyone.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me!" Misty said, as she saw Ho-Oh coming and then it landed on the ground in front of Ash, and its landing made everyone back away, even the Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, who also couldn't believe they were seeing someone like Ho-Oh.

"Sorry you have to see me in this pathetic look," Ash said to Ho-Oh, who was looking at Ash like he was judging him, and it made everyone nervous. The only one calm was Ash, even though he should be the most nervous of them all.

After a minute of stare down, Ho-Oh squawked something to Ash that only Ash understood, along with the other Pokémon who heard it, and Ash smiled at what he heard. "It's fine, young one," Ho-Oh said. "You have done something very important today, though it was a bit crazy."

"So, why did you show yourself when you saw that everything is ok, and that everyone is safe?" Ash asked.

At that time, Morty and Eusine came with Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny, and when they saw Ho-Oh and the casual way Ash was talking to it, they almost had a heart attack.

"Like I said, you have done a great thing today," Ho-Oh said. "You risked your life and health to save those of my kind, and I must show my gratitude. I'm going to give you something that will be very useful in the future. Not so much for you, as much for your Pokémon."

"And what is that?" Ash asked.

"I'll give you one of my Abilities," said Ho-Oh, and Ash raised his eyebrows. "I'll give you Sacred Fire. But you won't be the one to use it, instead, only your Fire Pokémon and your Pokémon that learn to use fire attacks will be able to use it because of their connection to you."

"Oh, and here I thought for a second I'll be able to breathe fire." Ash said with a smirk, and everyone wandered what are Ash and Ho-Oh talking about, but no one dared to ask.

"Don't be a smart ass." Ho-Oh said.

Ash laughed, and apologized. "Sorry, sorry."

Ho-Oh shook his head at Ash, and then told him to touch its wing that he extended so Ash can touch it without moving too much.

As Ash touched Ho-Oh's wing, he got surrounded in red Aura that was dancing around him like a fire, and then after few moments, it disappeared.

When the red Aura disappeared, Ho-Oh flew back in the sky, but before it flew away, it gave a parting words to Ash. "You have a great future ahead of yourself, Ash Ketchum, but I need to warn you to be careful and not fall to the dark side, because if you do, your ancestor will dispose of you like he disposed of all of those who followed that path."

Ash wanted to ask what that was about, and what ancestor was Ho-Oh talking about, but by the time he decided to ask, Ho-Oh was gone.

There was a silence for a few minutes after that, as no one said anything, until the silence was broken by Morty and Eusine who came running in front of Ash, and started questioning him about Ho-Oh, and what they talked about.

"Calm down, I'll explain everything," Ash said, while deciding to think about what Ho-Oh said, later, and then everyone seated in front of him, and started listening. The only ones who were actually doing something instead of just listening what Ash had to say about his talk with Ho-Oh were Officer Jenny who arrested Lawrence and the guy who worked for him, and Nurse Joy, who was checking all the Pokémon who were released from captivity.

Ash finished talking a few minutes later, and everyone was stunned that Ho-Oh granted one of its main abilities to Ash so his Pokémon can use it. Ash didn't mention Ho-Oh's parting words.

"I swear, you must be one of luckiest guys on the world." Morty said with a sigh.

"If you say so." Ash only shrugged.

Then, all the Pokémon that Ash released came one by one, or in small groups, and thanked him for saving them. In fact, they were so thankful that most of them actually wanted to stay with him, and become his Pokémon.

Ash only said he will think about it, and will tell them his answer after he rests, and they all agreed.

The last one to come were two Lugia.

The mother Lugia was so thankful to Ash for saving her, reuniting her with her daughter, and allowing her to go and find her son, that just like Ho-Oh, she gave one of her abilities to Ash, so his Pokémon can use it.

She gave him Aeroblast, and Ash was very thankful. "Thank you, Lugia," Ash thanked. "I asked Lugia to try and teach my Mega Pidgeot, Aeroblast a while ago, but it never worked."

"It's my species special power, so only we can use it," Lugia said. "Just like Ho-Oh and Entei are the only ones with Sacred Fire."

"I know, I just thought that since Pidgeot Mega evolved, she might be able to use it," Ash sighed. "But I guess it was a waste of time."

"It wasn't a waste of time," young Lugia said. "Just think how much more powerful Mega Pidgeot and I became during all the training we did."

Ash smiled. "You are right," Ash said. "You two did become very impressive."

"Well, I guess it's time for us to leave," mother Lugia said. "I want to find my little baby as soon as possible, and then move to find a new home for us, as the old one might not be safe anymore."

Ash nodded, and young Lugia got sad because she had to leave Ash.

"Hey, it's ok, Lugia, you are with your mother now, and soon you will be with your little brother as well," Ash said. "Being with your family is the most important thing in the world."

Lugia let a few tears, and she nodded, and then she nuzzled Ash's cheek a little, and he patted her on the head.

After that, both Lugia flew in the air, and after Ash told them to visit him in Pallet Town some time, they went to their home, while Ash and the others were waiving at them.

"I'm going to miss Lugia." Serena said, after she approached to Ash, and Misty, Leaf and Brock said so as well.

"Yeah, so will I." Ash said.

By then, Nurse Joy had finished checking all the Pokémon, and they all had talked with Ash, and thanked him, as well as asked him to join his team.

Then, with the help of Brock and Morty, Ash was led back in the Ecruteak City, while every human went with them, with Officer Jenny along with some Officers who showed up, were taking Lawrence and his helper with them.

The Pokémon that wanted to go with Ash, have all decided to stay in the forest next to the ship, and wait for Ash to recover so he can give them his answer, and one of the policeman stayed behind to secure the perimeter, and keep watch so that no one from the City comes near the ship and Pokémon.

The Pokémon that didn't want to come with Ash have left. Those were the three Legendary Beasts, and of course two Lugia's.

Ash was led into Pokémon Center, and to the room where he was left to rest for a while, while the others were waiting for him to wake up, and were discussing what happened, about all the Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, as well as the appearance of Ho-Oh.

It took Ash the rest of the day of sleeping to finally get well enough to stand up, and get to cafeteria for dinner, where he and the others were sitting and talking about what Ash planes to do next, and about the Pokémon that are waiting for his reply in the forest.

"I'm going to offer them a place to stay, but I don't want to capture any of them." Ash said.

"Why," Misty asked? "If they asked you to catch them, why won't you? And where are you planning to let them to live?"

"I don't want to capture them because it would be pointless, as I don't like to battle with Legendary Pokémon, and you know that," Ash said, and the others nodded. "I barely ever used Mewtwo and Lugia, and the same would happen with the other Legendary and Mythical that were in that group and that wanted to come with me."

"Ok, but where are you going to offer them to go?" Brock repeated Misty's question.

"Didn't I ever mention what was built in Pallet Town about a year before I started my journey?" Ash asked, and everyone but Leaf looked at him confused.

"No, you didn't mention anything," Misty said. "What was built?"

"Well, while I was training to be Aura Guardian, I learned a lot of stuff, and one of them is about Pokémon Swarms, and I thought about building a Pokémon Preservation Area in Pallet Town, where I can let Pokémon I might catch if I ever run into Pokémon Swarms, as well as any Pokémon that were released from captivity, and from poachers." Ash said.

"Wait, how do you build Pokémon Preservation Area," Misty asked. "Isn't it just some free space in which Pokémon are protected and where capturing Pokémon is forbidden, like that Preservation Area close to Kanto Safari Zone?"

"Misty, you have been in Pallet Town, and you have seen that the entire place is surrounded by hills and forests, so where do you think the preserve would be," Ash asked?

"In the forest," Misty said, not getting it.

"Some Pokémon might live in the forest," Ash said. "But what about Water Type Pokémon, what about Rock and Ground Type Pokémon that love to have a lot of free space?"

"I think I get it now," Misty said. "So, what exactly did you do?"

"Well, I talked with dad, and told him about my idea, and he liked it, so we bought a pretty big area that stretches from the shore all the way to the east side of Pallet Town, which is all a forest," Ash started explaining. "We also bought the entire east side of Pallet Town Harbor, and the entire area is surrounded by underwater gates that goes about a mile from the shore to the sea, and then makes a turn to the left, and stops at the cliff. Those underwater gates prevent Pokémon from leaving the area, but it also prevents Pokémon from entering inside. Then we cleared up several parts of the forest, and made some plains, as well as dug a big hole through which we then dug a tunnel that's connected to the sea, and the hole was then filed with the sea water which is now a lake, and Pokémon can enter the lake through the tunnel that comes out in the area surrounded by underwater gates."

"Unbelievable," Brock said. "You made all of that."

"Yeah," Ash said. "After the Preserve was built, we made Pokémon Center and Police Station which will also serve as Pokémon Ranger Office."

"How come we didn't see it when we were in Pallet Town?" Brock asked.

"I don't know, I guess it could be that you never went past the river, and were only in the Town center," Ash said. "The river goes from North to South, and on the West side of the river is the Town, but on the East side is the Preservation Area."

"Yeah, I guess you are right," Misty said. "We never actually went out of the Pallet Town when we were there, and were only going toward the North to Viridian City."

Ash nodded.

"But shouldn't we at least have seen Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny in the Town when we were there?" Misty asked.

"Ah, but that's the thing, there is no Pokémon in the Preservation Area yet, well except some wild Pokémon that already lived there, so there is no need for Joy and Jenny as well as Rangers," Ash said. "They will only come and start working when Pokémon start coming to the area."

"I see," Brock said. "So, if I got it right, you want all the Pokémon you saved from Lawrence to go to that Preservation Area."

"Yes," Ash said.

"You mentioned Pokémon Swarms," Serena suddenly said. "What are they?"

"It when a bunch of Pokémon of a same species suddenly appear in the same place," Ash said. "Just think like a bunch of Tauros just comes running through the streets of Ecruteak City. That would be a Pokémon Swarm. But it could potentially be any Pokémon."

"We've been traveling for a while, and we haven't yet run into one," Brock said. "Are they that rare, or were we just not lucky enough to see it?"

"Well, they are rare, but not that rare," Ash said. "I guess we were just unlucky."

"So how do you plan on finding this swarms?" Serena asked.

"I don't," Ash said. "Hardly anyone chases Pokémon Swarms, as they can be unpredictable, and it would be a waste of time to just go for them. To see a swarm, you just have to be at the right place at the right time."

"So, you are just going to wait and hope that you will run into one, one day." Misty said.

"Yep," Ash said. "I know I haven't seen one so far, but there is no way I'll go through all the Regions I plan to travel through and not run into at least a couple of them. And when I do, I will capture them, and send them in Preservation Area."

"Did you know about this, Leaf?" Brock asked.

"Yeah, I did," Leaf said. "I even agreed to catch a swarm if I ever run into one in my journey, as well as send all the Pokémon I find and manage to break free from poachers."

"I'm actually surprised you didn't mention about this when we were in that Village where Melanie takes care of Pokémon, and when you took Damian's Pokémon." Misty said.

"Well, since the area where Pokémon Village Melanie runs was placed under the Pokémon League protection, I thought there was no need to mention it, and in Damian's case, we took most of the Pokémon, and few that were left went in Pokémon Village, as Melanie was there, if I sent them in Preservation Area in Pallet, then Jenny, Joy and a Pokémon Ranger would have to come for only a few Pokémon that were going to live there."

"Ok, I guess that is a good decision to leave all those Legendary and Mythical Pokémon there," Brock said. "But what about the others? Remember, there are some normal Pokémon as well, and some Shiny Pokémon."

"In their case, I'll ask them if they want to stay in the preserve, or if some might want to join your teams," Ash said. "Depending on the answers, I'll either leave them in Preservation Area, or spread them between us."

"Ok, then, lets finish dinner and head to bed to get some rest." Brock said, and everyone agreed.

After that, they finished their dinner, and everyone went to their rooms, while Ash went to the forest to talk with the Pokémon.

Ash came back to the Pokémon Center few hours later, and he saw that everyone was already asleep, so he just went to sleep as well, without waking them up.

XXX

I know a lot of you are going to complain that Ash is too powerful and that this is ridiculous, but all I have to say is, that this is how he was supposed to be from the start, and that I planned for him to be ridiculously powerful in this story, and I'm not going to change that no matter how much someone complains. Also, when you find out who his ancestor is, no one will complain.

As for Preservation Area, I will admit that I wasn't planning to build one, and I only came up with that after Ash released all the Pokémon from Lawrence's ship.

I thought that was the best decision, as Ash won't use Legendary Pokémon too much, and the same goes for the others, so giving them more than they already have is pointless. And I thought it could be interesting to build something like that.
