Season of Change
Poppy arose from her bed to another bright and cheery morning in Trollstopia. She leaned over and softly whispered, "Good morning, Branch," and kissed him on the cheek as the pop king smiled, muttering, "Morning, Poppy." Poppy giggled as she hopped out of bed and walked into the nursery, where Harmony was asleep in her crib until she heard her mother say, "Morning, Harmony. How'd my little girl sleep"? Harmony opened her eyes and looked up at her mother before saying, "I slept great, mommy." Poppy picked up her little daughter while saying, "How about we get breakfast ready, and then we can surprise your daddy with breakfast in bed"? Harmony nodded and replied while Poppy placed Harmony in her hair, "Yes, mommy. Let's surprise daddy"! With that, Poppy skipped into the kitchen to make breakfast while her daughter watched safely, making Poppy extra cheery with her smile. While she began to gather her ingredients, Poppy could not help but comment, "Feels like today's going to be pretty memorable for some reason. Whatever the reason is, I know it's gonna be great." Over at Rock Hollow, Sid woke up and let out a big yawn as he sat up in his bed. He cleared his throat while saying, "Man, I'm thirsty. I need some water," and jumped off the bed, walking out of the bedroom. He went to the fridge and pulled out a water bottle, drinking from it before saying in satisfaction, "Ah, that's much better. Today's going to be a warm day again, so I need to stay hydrated." He then saw Melody emerge from her bedroom, typing her work apron on, as he came over, saying, "Morning, Mel." Melody looked up and said, "Hey, Sid. You seem to be in an extra good mood today." Sid chuckled and said, "Yeah, I am. I guess...today just seems like a perfect day. I don't know what it'll bring, but I'm excited to face it head-on with a bright smile." Melody chuckled and stated, "Glad to hear, Sid. I'd love to stay and chat longer, but I gotta head to work. Ever since the warm weather came, it's been pretty hot, and thanks to Nova Swift, a lot of trolls have been dying to get short haircuts to beat the heat. So, we've been pretty busy, especially me. Maddy says if things keep going so well, I'll soon get promoted to professional status." Sid was really intrigued as he commented, "Wow, that'd be so cool! Melody Song, official professional hairdresser. Has a nice ring to it." Melody nodded and said, "Yep, but I can't make that dream come true if I don't skedaddle. Wanna hang out later when I come back"? Sid nodded and said, "Sure thing." Melody then took her leave and left to head to the salon as the Flexi-Troll looked at the bottle of water he was holding and chugged the rest of it down before saying, "Something tells me today is going to be a great day." He tossed the bottle into the recycling bin before running out, heading into Trollstopia, as he started to sing.

At that moment, when Sid entered town, he saw Aggie looking at wedding altar design plans with Trollex as he slid in and said, "Hi, Aggie! Trollex! Isn't it a beautiful day"? Trollex nodded and said, "You bet! There's something huge in the air today, and it's making us all extra peppy this morning." Aggie added, "Definitely! In fact, I feel so peppy, I have to do this," as she quickly locked lips with Trollex before pulling him onto his fins so they both could sing and dance together.
Aggie: Singing shiny (Trollex: Singing shiny!)! That's just the glittery magic inside me (Trollex: Let the magic shine, girl!) Check us out; we're so lively!
Trollex: Oh, we're lighting up like a firework today! Shine like a star, glowing like a neon bar! We're gonna let it out!

At that moment, Sid jumped in and joined the couple in the singing and dancing as a bunch of their other friends saw and joined in on the dancing too.
Sid: I found the light that's in me!

Aggie: Always seen me! For the troll that I can be!

After the song concluded, Aggie commented, "Hey, that was a lot of fun," while Trollex added, "It sure was. You helped put everyone in a cheery mood, Sid." The Flexi-Troll nodded excitedly and said, "Thanks, Aggie and your majesty. Well, I better get going, but I hope you two lovebirds have a great day." Sid happily walked away as Aggie then said, "Ok, now, let's get back to looking over altar designs. We need to pick the perfect one for our wedding." Trollex then got an idea as he said, "Before we do that, Aggie, can I show you something? I found a beautiful spot that would be the best sight to have our wedding." Aggie then got pretty excited as she asked, "Ooohhh, where"? Trollex chuckled and said, "If I tell you, then it won't be a secret anymore." He then playfully covered her eyes and said, "Just follow my lead, and I'll safely guide you to where I have in mind." Trollex had a cheeky grin as he helped lead his blindfolded girlfriend out of Trollstopia and into the forest. Aggie stumbled a little as she giggled while asking, "Trollex, where are you taking me," as the Techno King replied, "You'll see soon." Once Trollex had led Aggie to where he wanted, he said, "And...stop. Ok, Aggie, what do you think"? He uncovered her eyes as Aggie looked at the spot Trollex had taken her in awe. They were by the shoreline, where the trolls usually came to spend hot summer days like today. The small waves rippled back and forth onto the edge of the shoreline as the water glistened under the sun (Think of the shoreline from TBGO. It's that spot). Trollex had his arm around Aggie as he asked, "Well, what do you think"? The colorful MMT looked at Trollex and had a huge smile as she hugged him while saying, "It's perfect! This is the perfect spot to have our wedding! I love it"! Trollex caressed the back of Aggie's rainbow-colored hair as he said, "I knew you would like it. I found this spot a week ago and said to myself, "This is the perfect location, but get your fiancee's approval first before you jump into using it." So, I kept it a secret and wanted to surprise you." Aggie used her rock hand to caress Trollex's cheek as she said while looking at him fondly, "You definitely surprised me. It's truly the perfect spot." Both trolls shared a romantic kiss as Trollex and Aggie both looked at it again, with the Techno king commenting, "Imagine it, Aggie. Soon, all of the decorations and structures are going to be placed onto here, and then, we're finally going to be tying the knot after over 5 years of dating. And...I'm so happy to have you to be the troll I'm marrying. It's going to be you and me, standing at the altar, saying our vows, and soon, having you become the new queen of Techno."
Aggie replied, "Yeah," before looking away nervously. Trollex caught sight of this as he asked, "Hey, what's wrong"? Aggie answered, "Well...to be honest, I'm a little nervous. I mean, our wedding is coming up soon, and it's all happening so fast. I never thought the day would come so soon for me to be marrying someone, especially the king of Techno. It's all so much, happening all so suddenly. Am I really ready to soon become a wife? Much less a queen? It's a lot for me to handle, and I don't even know what the future will hold for us. What if I'm not a good ruler? What if something happens that ruins our marriage? I guess...I'm just so hesitant about it all happening soon." Trollex knew just what to do to make his fiancee feel better as he stroked her cheek with his right hand and said while wrapping his left arm around the back of her neck, "Hey, it'll all be ok, Aggie. I'm feeling nervous about it too. Yes, you do bring up a good point: the future is uncertain, and we don't know what it'll bring, but I do know this. Together, you and me, we can get through anything. We've proven before, time and time again, that as long as you and I are together, nothing can tear us apart for long or keep us separated from each other. I love you, Aggie, always have, and always will. Nothing or no one can ever change that, and I want you always to know that as long as I'm here, you'll never have to worry about being scared or alone ever again. I'll be ruling alongside you and will help you with anything that comes our way. We're in this together, Aggie, and our love will shine a light brighter than a glowstick that'll lead us towards the right path. We might face some obstacles, but together, we'll overcome them. You're a shining star, my sweet, beautiful fiancee, and together, I'll help you continue to shine bright, and we'll get to help others like you shine bright too." Aggie instantly felt better as she kissed Trollex on the nose while saying, "Since when did you get so smart," which made Trollex reply while blushing, "I learned a lot from my special Master: you." Aggie was now blushing as she and Trollex kissed again, feeling safe and happy in each other's embrace. Suddenly, a delivery beetle flew by and dropped off a letter for Aggie, who looked at the envelope before opening it, pulling out the paper. she quickly read it as Trollex asked, "Who's it from"? Aggie replied, "It's my parents! They're coming to visit tomorrow! You know...we never told them about our engagement yet. How do you think they'll take it if we tell them"? Trollex then said, "Aggie, you don't have to worry about your parents. They love you and support you in everything you do, and remember, they support our relationship, so, I'm sure they'll support our engagement too." Aggie then got a great idea as she said, Hey, I know! Why don't we do something to surprise them as a way of breaking the news to them"? Trollex smiled and stroked Aggie's colorful hair again as he said, "And that's why I love you, my smart and cute genius," as both trolls shared another kiss.
However, not too far away, in a tree 100 miles away from where the couple stood, a Flexi-Troll soldier was spying on them with a pair of binoculars and growled, saying, "The boss won't like that"! It then flew away, using its wings, and went straight for the Flexi-Troll kingdom in the far, far, far off Lonesome Flats' reaches. It flew through a top hole in the tall, stone "castle" and flew down a tunnel, entering what looked like a broad, dark, creepy throne room. The soldier landed in front of the throne, where a dark figure was sitting, as he said in a deep voice, "What have you brought for me"? The soldier reported, "It appears that the MMT that you hate and the Techno dodo fish are set on getting married." The dark figure slammed his fist down and said, "WHAT?! This will not stand! What about that nymph I sent?! Sid?! Any word from him and his attempts at creating chaos"?! The soldier reported, "No sir, and it appeared that from recent wording of a passing bird that he has "reformed" and joined their side." The dark figure, still unidentifiable because he was sitting in the dark, let out a loud, threatening, scary scream that made every Flexi-Troll hiss and growl in disgust. The dark figure then stood up from his throne and shouted, "That stupid, good-for-nothing trollstard! I'll kill him with my bare hands the next time I see him! This is not going to pass at all"! He stepped down from his throne and stepped into the light, finally showing himself off. The now identified King was taller than the other Flexi-trolls and, unlike the tribe, was silver, with a black, two-legged horse half. He had claws instead of regular hands, like the other Flexi-Trolls, and had a flimsy, but still working, silver Techno tailfin full of holes and red blocks along the ends of the fins. He had long dark red funk dreads that were messy and cascaded to his upper back, a red glittery Techno heart, yellow glitter on his arms, a dark gray pop nose, long rock ears, signature red Flexi-Troll eyes, and a sharp mouth full of jagged, sharp, dagger-like teeth. In his right hand was a tall wooden staff, where, inside of it, was a pearl-white egg inside a clear container, and a purple gem was resting on top of it. The king growled and said, "It's that blasted, dumb, naive MMT's fault! She messed one of my people up! She must be killed and rid of her magic! Without it, my plans for ruling over the world will be an utter disaster! Since it seems like Sid has failed, we have no choice but to declare war! I swear, you stupid, colorful MMT, you'll be finished off and rid of the world, or my name is not King Gungager"! (As a heads up, first, thank you, King Halloween, from Wattpad, for naming this character and for giving me the perfect voice actor for him: Chris Pratt) The Flexi-Troll king cackled loudly, his voice echoing throughout the castle before he pointed at the soldier and declared, "Go round up the troops and attack anyone you see! Send those puny trolls a warning that war is coming"! The soldier saluted and said, "Yes sir," and flew off, leaving King Gungager alone as he said to himself while looking at the egg in his staff, "Oh, just you wait, Trollstopia. First you and your puny kingdoms, then Harmonious Land, then the world will be mine"!
Back in Trollstopia, Sid was playing horseshoes with Buckaroo as he landed a fifth ringer at his post, making the country detective comment, "Hoo-wee, Sid! Y'all have gotten real good at horseshoes"! Sid replied, "Thanks, Buckaroo. I got a little practice losing to you so many times." Buckaroo chuckled and said, "Hey, don't ya talk yourself down laake that. You were pretty good in the beginnin' too." Sid chuckled and said, "Pretty good? I nailed a troll in the head by accident, I broke a window but stayed to fix it after apologizing, and I got one to land on the pole of the clock tower." Buckaroo then said, "Whel, eithuurr way, ya improved your game since then." Sid smiled and said, "Thanks, honey. Say, you find if I ask something"? Buckaroo nodded, replying, "Sure thing. What's up"? Sid then asked, "What's the status of...our relationship? I'm only asking because we never officially "declared" that we're boyfriend and girlfriend, and we've kissed a few times, and other trolls have asked me if you and I are dating and I said, "Not yet," but we will soon. So, it's just got me curious, and I wanted to ask you since...I know you laid out the ground rules when we admitted our feelings for each other." Buckaroo thought about it before saying, "Whel, ay'm ayy be real honest with ya: ay'm as confused as you are. Ay mean, it's nawht ta say I wouldn't wanna date ya; ay really do. Ay guess it's just perspective ov it all. Y'all are raheet: we never formally said that we're an item, But...do we have ta consider it now? Ay mean, we're still young, thriving, moldable souls. We're in that "experimentashun" stage where we're tryin' things out and seein' what connects with us the most. We haven't even gone on ayy date yet." Sid then asked, "Well, in that case, did you...maybe...want to go on a date? If you're still not up to it, that's ok too. We don't have to rush into anything yet." Buckaroo thought about it for a minute before replying, "Ay'm be honest: ay haven't been on ayy date in an awful long taame. Last taame was...with my ex, but...well...ok. I guess tryin' one date wouldn't hurt. How about this afternoon, you ayn' ay go on ayy lil' picnic down by the river"? Sid nodded, saying, "Ok, that works out for me. I'll make the food if you get the supplies." Buckaroo chuckled and said, "Sure thing, sugar. So, up for another game"? Sid nodded and said, "Why not? If I'm lucky, I might beat you this time," as Buckaroo smiled and said, "Dream on, Flexi. No troll has evuurr beaten me at horseshoes, ayn' ay don't plan on losin' any taame soon."
Back in town, Prince D and McJagger were setting up microphone stands as the funk prince commented, "It's so cool that we got to make this love song together. We haven't done anything like that since we were little." McJagger smiled, commenting, True, and it'll be great getting to sing with my best friend again. Maybe you might impress your lady friend." Prince D blushed a deep shade of crimson as McJagger, "I've seen how you and Blues have been, D, and you both are sweeter than a cherry crumble pie." Prince D playfully bumped McJager while saying, "If it weren't for you being married already, I'd retort back, "What about you are your girl," McJ"? The red funk troll smiled and said, "Well, either way, I hope they like our performance." Dante, who was warming up on a piano, said, "I just love doing sweet romantic songs, even if some are not within the Classical genre, they still warm my heart and provide me plenty of inspiration"! Smidge was on the drums as she said, "Yeah, and singing is a lot of fun"! Synth had his DJ set out as he added, "True, I hope Stereo sees it too, and I hope my kids like my singing. They'll be so surprised to see their daddy on stage with his friends." Cooper added, "Yeah, and I would surprise myself because I'm my own love." Low-Note Jones, who was strumming his bass guitar, replied, "You got that right, baby. Self-love is just as sweet as true love." Synth the spotted Stereo, who was holding the twins in her arms, Blues, and Laguna, with Jasmine resting in a baby harness, over by the candy bar, as he said, "There they are. Let's get singing and have some fun"! Prince D nodded and said, "You set, McJ"? McJagger nodded, saying, "Let's make this joint musical," and pointed at Smidge, who started to play the drums as Low-Note Jones, Synth, and Dante started to play their instruments, doing a slow song while Cooper side stepped side to side. The music got Laguna, Blues, and Stereo's attention, as they came over to see the little show, smiling in excitement, as McJagger and Prince D both began to slowly walk side to side as they sang into the microphones.

After concluding the song, Laguna, Stereo, and Blues had applauded in appreciation while Soundwave, Serenade, and Jasmine also cheered and clapped as McJagger and Prince D bowed. Stereo commented, "You all were so *imitates air horn noises*! That was awesome," as Blues added, "Stereo's right. You were amaza-ba-bonkers," while Laguna added, "Oh yes. Your performance was one of great standards." McJagger and Prince D walked down the stage as McJagger said while approaching Laguna, "Thanks, baby. Prince D and I have wanted to do a song together for a while, and we thought, "Why not today"? We're happy you liked it." Synth came over and kissed Stereo as the glittery Techno troll commented, "Synthesizer, you did a great job up there." Synth blushed and replied, "Thanks, honey. Seeing you and our adorable babies motivated us big time." Blues then said, "Well, the show was great, but I gotta run. I'm helping Rhythm test a new ray we've been working on for weeks, and we need to see if we've finally patented it down perfectly. Catch you later, Darnell," and kissed the funk prince on the cheek before walking away. Prince D's cheeks flushed red as he smiled and watched Blues leave with a dreamy expression, leaving McJagger and Laguna to chuckle. Laguna picked up Jasmine from the harness and said while giving her to McJagger, "McJagger, I need to run a quick errand. Can you watch Jasmine for me until I come back"? McJagger nodded and held Jasmine in his arms while saying, "Of course, Laguna baby. You know I'd do anything to help you and our little daughter. Right, Jasmine"? The baby Techno guppy cooed and giggled happily in her father's arms. Laguna smiled and said to Jasmine, "Mama will be right back. Be good for your daddy, ok"? Jasmine smiled brightly as Laguna kissed her on the cheek before taking her leave. While watching Laguna walk away, Prince D commented, "I've said it before, man, and I'll say it again: you are one lucky troll." McJagger nodded and looked at Jasmine with a huge smile, mentioning, "And I'm luckily to have two beautiful girls in my life: our daughter, and my wife."
Prince D then commented, "You know, at therapy, Laguna comments a lot about how you've really helped her find inner peace and happiness, man, McJagger." McJagger blushed and asked, "She does," as the funk prince added, "Oh yes. She says that your optimism and positivity, as well as your gentle, pacifistic, and patient nature, has helped her learn how to set boundaries, find the courage to stand up for herself, learn to build up trust towards certain trolls, and most importantly, to be more open about her emotions and how she feels." McJagger smiled as he said, "Well, I'm grateful to have helped her out however I could. She's something special." He then looked at Jasmine again before contemplating on something, asking Prince D, "Say, D, mind if I ask you something"? Prince D nodded as the red funk troll stated, "Well, I know Jasmine was born a few months ago, and I love raising her and everything, but...is it normal to later on feel like wanting another kid"? Prince D thought about it before saying, "Well, I wouldn't really know since I'm not married, but...from what my mom told me, yeah, sometimes, while raising one kid, you could feel like wanting to have another. What brought this up"? McJagger replied, "Well, the other day, Laguna and I were taking Jasmine to the library, and we ran into Synth and Stereo and their twins. Seeing Serenade and Soundwave happy together, I just curiously wondered what it'd be like if Jasmine had a sibling, is all." Prince D then asked, "Have you brought this up with Laguna"? McJagger then bit his lip, remaining silent before answering, "I haven't had the guts to do it, mainly because I don't know how she would respond. Even though it's only an idea, I'm afraid she might take it as something else, and I don't want her to feel pressured or anything. The last thing I want Laguna to feel is scared or frightened about something that we don't even have to necessarily do, especially if it reminds her of her past. I know she's been working really hard to overcome it, and so far, she's been doing such a great job and has been feeling a lot happier. I don't want that to go away just because I ask her, "Have you ever thought about possibly wanting another kid"? Prince D listened as he then said, "Well, man, that is a tough predicament. Hmm...well, let me ask you this: did anything else influence you thinking this idea"? McJagger then answered, "Well...while I was watching Serenade and Soundwave, something else came into my mind: that night in Vibe City when I got ambushed and Laguna came to save me. I don't know if Essence ever told you the story, but...Laguna's pregnancy...wasn't a natural one. The trolls who jumped me shot her with a fertility serum that had a drop of my blood, and...that's what quickly formed the egg and allowed her to give birth."
Prince D then replied, "I think I remember my mom telling me that. That was the night Laguna came to ask about her heart, right"? McJagger nodded as Prince D then said, "You know...Laguna actually brought up something similar to this at the last therapy session we had."
Flashback to a few days ago...
Prince D was writing something on his clipboard as he asked, "So, Laguna, currently, where do you find yourself emotional-wise"? Laguna replied, "Note: I'm currently feeling very much at peace. I'm content, relaxed, and I'm not exhibiting any signs of fear or tension. Perhaps slight stress, but it's mainly towards my studies due to increased difficulty, but other than that, I feel ok. But...if I can be a little more honest, I am feeling a bit on edge today too." Prince D then asked, "What's making you feel on edge." Laguna then replied, "Well, today marks at least 5 months since the night that I gave birth to Jasmine back when she was an egg, but...it also marks when Neal and Seal ambushed my husband and used his blood to activate the fertility serum they shot me with that made me pregnant without necessarily "doing "it" if you understand my explanation. So, being in Vibe City around this time is making me a bit skeptical. I almost debated on if it was worth it to miss my appointment or not." Prince D understood well as he said, "That's perfectly understandable, Laguna. And I am glad you decided to come today and share this with me. It's perfectly normal to feel some sense of hesitancy when coming to a place where an event of trauma or substantial remembrance occurs, but being able to come here anyway is a sign of overcoming your fears and moving forward. you've definitely have grown to be a lot braver." Laguna smiled a bit before she asked, "Say, Prince D...can I confide with you about something"? Prince D nodded as Laguna picked up a squeaky octopus stress toy and squeezed it a few times before saying, "Well, referring back to what happened to me months ago, sometimes, I can't help but fear about Jasmine. I love my daughter with all of my heart, but the circumstances of her formation and birth, especially with that serum, which those guys could have tampered with, sometimes make me fear that something bad will happen either to her...or to me, my husband, or my family. I don't want to live fearing my child, but...is it wrong for me to be concerned about what could happen to her in the future"? Prince d wrote this down before saying, "Well, being concerned about your child is a natural motherly instinct, and it's perfectly ok. I understand your situation but think of it like this. You'd know if something bad was about to happen to her or you, right"? Laguna nodded as Prince d then said, "Sometimes, the best thing any parent can do when feeling like the way you are now is trust their instincts. If you feel like something is wrong, then it probably is, and so, act upon it so you can stop it before it does become something bad."
Laguna smiled before saying, "That's some pretty good advice, Prince D. Say, can I mention something else"? Prince D nodded as Laguna then said, "Going back to the way my daughter first emerged as an egg, aside from that initial fear in the beginning, sometimes...I can't help but feel a bit sad about it too. I thought that I would get to give birth after McJagger and I got married, not before, and especially not by potentially dangerous fertility serum. I still love Jasmine, I definitely do, and I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world, but, sometimes, I wish I got the chance to be able to have an egg...the natural way, despite still feeling hesitant about that idea." Prince D then asked while writing this down, "I see. Tell me, have you considered wanting to have another kid in the future"? Laguna thought about it before saying, "Well...I haven't thought about it much, but...it is an idea that I would want to bring up with McJagger. The problem is...I'm still pretty hesitant about doing "it" if we were to consider having another child. Every day, a bit of my past moves more and more behind me, but it's still there, and despite not feeling as scared or terrified about it as before, it still makes my knees quake and sometimes keeps me up at night. I'm just nervous that, if we do end up having it happen, my fear of the past could alter the process of lead to something going horrendously wrong."
End of flashback...
"Wow, she said that"? Prince D nodded and said, "Yeah. In a way, she's pretty much almost in the same little problem you're in." McJagger then said, "Well, maybe I should talk to her. If I can get this off my chest with her, being easy with my words and making sure I say it in a way that doesn't scare her, she could try and talk to me about what you just told me, and we could maybe sort things out." At that moment, Laguna had returned as she said, "I'm back, McJagger." McJagger turned around and carefully hugged his wife while still gently holding Jasmine as he said, "Hey, boo. Jasmine here was well-behaved while you were gone." Jasmine smiled and nodded as Laguna picked her up, saying, "Aw, that's sweet to hear. Ok, we are set to go." McJagger smiled before saying, "Great, Laguna. Catch you later, Prince D," as Prince D smiled and said, "See ya, McJ," as McJagger and Laguna soon walked away with Jasmine in Laguna's arms. Over at Techno Lagoon, Synth was trying on his tuxedo and tying the red bowtie on while looking in the mirror, saying, "Hey, Aggie! Your future bro-in-law's glammed up"! He moved around and tried different poses, making sure that it fitted right and was maneuverable in, as Stereo walked in on the hilarious sight, saying, "Aw, there's my handsome husband." Synth paused and blushed in embarrassment as he said, "It's not every day you see your husband in a tuxedo since Techno trolls normally don't wear clothes. But, I want to look my very best for the wedding. It's not every day your brother asks you to be his best man. I hope I don't do anything wrong." Stereo hugged Synth from behind while she said, "It'll be ok, Synthesizer. You'll do great. I know you will. Besides, if it'll help, I'll be right here alongside you, rooting you on." Synth smiled and kissed Stereo on the cheek as he said, "And I'm going to be rooting for you when you get coronated and become a princess." That part made Stereo confused as she asked, "Hold up. Princess"? Synth answered, "Well, since Aggie is going to be queen when she and Trollex get married, and you're married to me, and I'm a prince since my brother's the king, that makes you a princess." Stereo then gasped as she said, "Me? A princess? I-I don't know if I'd make a good princess, Synthesizer. I don't know the first thing about being royalty; I only know how to rave"! Synth hugged his wife to comfort her as he said, "Hey, Stereo, everything will be ok. You'll be a great princess; you're made for it. You love being around other trolls, you love to party, you love to help, you care about other's well-being, and you look beautiful in a dress." Stereo blushed and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear as she added, "But...what about the royal duties we'll have to do? Not that I don't mind them but, what if I mess up and do something wrong? Especially for our kids, who'll possibly be heir to the throne"? Synth answered, "Technically, Aggie and Trollex's kids would be the heir to the throne," as Stereo frantically replied, "Still"! She then stopped and took a deep breath in and out, saying, "I'm sorry, it's just that...ever since I was a guppy, life always seemed to have unexpected twists and turns for me, and most of the time, I never knew how to handle them. I didn't know what to do when I attended school and had zero friends in the beginning since I was too shy to say hello. I had no idea what to do when the rock trolls attacked us. I didn't know what to do when we got captured during the world tour and almost turned into rock zombies. I almost didn't even move here to Trollstopia because I had no idea how to respond to something like that.
When things like what I listed happen and come so unexpectedly, I freeze up and can't do a thing. If it happens while I'm still a regular Techno troll, how am I gonna be able to handle it once I become a princess? I don't think I'm fit for this role." Stereo sadly looked away while nervously rubbing her right arm as Synth felt bad for his wife, unsure of how to help her. Luckily, he knew just what to do. He Swam up to her, using his hand to raise her head slowly, so she was looking into his eyes, as Synth said, "Stereo, hon, you have nothing to worry about. Everyone feels nervous when things like this happen to them. I remember how nervous I felt when I was set to become a prince at my brother's coronation. I was a nervous wreck and actually attempted to hide in my room an hour before the coronation. My brother ended up finding me, and when I told him how I felt, he gave me this piece of advice: don't focus on trying to be like anyone else, no matter your stature. You only have to be one thing: yourself, and that's better than any crown or dress you wear. So, Stereo, it's ok if you don't know about royalty stuff yet; you'll get to learn about it once you become a princess, and even after you do, you don't fear or think about changing anything about yourself to become a better princess. You only have to be yourself, and that's something I really love about you: how even through any scenario, you never lose sight of what's true, and you're always acting like your party-loving self. In a way, you're already a princess to me, and now, others will get to see it too. You shine brighter than a glowstick: I can definitely stare at you for hours, and you'll get t help lead the way for other trolls to follow in your inspirational footsteps." Stereo smiled and locked lips with Synth before saying, "Since when did you get so smart, Synthesizer? I thought Laguna was the smartest." Synth chuckled and said, "Well, she's the smartest, but that doesn't mean I don't know a thing or two, especially about how to help anyone in need and how to show them that we care about you." Stereo blushed and said, "Oh, Synth," as the couple kissed again before the voices of babbling got their attention. Stereo smiled, saying, "Sound like the twins are up from their naps." Synth smiled, saying, "Let's go greet them and have them try on the formal baby clothing Satin and Chenille made them before heading to the emergency meeting Aggie is holding."
A few minutes later, after having the babies try on their little clothes, Stereo and Synth went up to the surface and started to walk to the meeting house, entering and joining up with everyone else. Stereo placed the twins in a small playpen, where Jasmine and Harmony were already playing, and took their seats next to Holly and Delta. Aggie then said, "Everyone, I've called you all here to address something important. My parents are...coming tomorrow." McJagger then said, "That'sgreat, Aggie. Itll be cool seeing Bernadette and Galileo again," as Aggie then said, "Yeah, but we have a conundrum. They don't know that...Trollex and I are engaged yet." Everyone gasped in shock as Holly declared, "Y'all nevuurr told them," while Dante declared, "But the wedding is rapidly approaching"! Poppy then asked, "When were you going to tell them," as Aggie explained, "I wanted to tell them, but...I felt so nervous about how they'd take the news, I've been too scared to do it." Essence then said, "Well, either way, tomorrow's the best chance you got to share them the news," as Synth then asked, "How are you going to tell them anyways"? Aggie then suggested, "Well, Trollex and I were discussing it and we decided to try and plan a way to surprise them, but...we haven't figured out how yet. So, guys...does anyone have any ideas"? Everyone thought together before Finn said, "Why not fireworks? They're big, loud, and always show the message." Trollex then said, "Too noisy, and risky to keep secret if something goes wrong." Rhythm then said, "What about a light show," as Aggie said, "Too bright and a bit obvious. We need something that's small, but at the same time, something that can really pack the aspect of surprising them." Melody then said, "Ooh! I know! We can do a domino rally! They're fun to do and easy to plan"! Buckaroo then asked, "What the hey is ayy domino rally," as Aggie explained, "Domino rallies are these small pathways that we make with dominoes that we can knock down and watch all of the dominoes fall together. My siblings and I used to do them all the time, especially on snow days when it was too cold to go outside and we drove my aunts insane and they'd say this: Get out"! Everyone flinched a bit from the sudden statement before Aggie then said, "You know...maybe we could do something like this...but bigger? What if we make this into a big chain reaction"? DJ then said, "Ooh! Can we use levers and pulleys," and Trollzart added, "And perhaps a few mechanisms to alter the path of the dominoes"? Barb even said, "And then, we could have a huge sign that says, "We're engaged," and the minute they see that, they'll know the truth"! Sid even mentioned, "And we could make it activate by when your parents open the door to go inside your pod"! Trollex wrote all of this down as she said, "Ok everyone! we have our plan! We have a lot of work ahead of us, so, let's start thinking of ideas and meet back again tonight to share"! With that, everyone nodded in agreement and soon got up and left the meeting house, returning to their duties and other daily activities. Meanwhile, Aggie zoomed into her pod and started pulling out boxes full of different little knickknacks and gears as she said, "Ooh, this is going to surprise them so much"! However, in one box she opened up, there was a photo album resting in there. Aggie took it out, saying, "How did this get in here," and opened it up, looking through some of the photos before one caught interest to her. It was an old torn, folded picture of Twilight Tidepool, which surprised Aggie, as she said, "Huh? What's a picture of Twilight doing in here"? Aggie took the picture out and looked at it before noticing the folded edge and unfolded it, revealing something that shocked her to the core. Next to Twilight were her parents: Galileo and Bernadette, and they all seemed to be going on an adventure together, which meant one thing as a stunned Aggie exclaimed, "My parents know Twilight Tidepool"?!
Later on, by the river, Buckaroo was laying out a picnic blanket as she nervously waited for Sid to show up. Buckaroo did her best to stay calm but found it pretty difficult, especially because the last time she went on a date, she got stood up and found out her ex was cheating on her. So, despite trying to be positive, there was still that small sense of hesitancy. However, it all went away the minute she saw Sid skipping towards her, carrying a huge picnic basket. Buckaroo sighed a breath of relief and said, "Ya made it, Sid! Ay was a-gettin' ayy lil' worried there." Sid smiled and said, "Well, I made it, as promised, and I brought us a feast; nothing bug-related, promise." The two trolls sat on the blanket together as Sid opened the basket, saying, "I made your favorite: cheeseburgers, but you like yours extra rare and with hot sauce instead of ketchup." Sid pulled out a long container with two burgers inside as Buckaroo smiled, saying, "My favorite. Thanks, Sid." Sid then pulled out a large plate full of multi-colored flavor berry kabobs and a pitcher of pink lemonade, with two red cups, as he said, "I also made fruit kabobs, pink lemonade, and..." before pulling out a chocolate cake, saying, "A chocolate frosted marble cake; also your favorite." Buckaroo chuckled before saying, "Wow, ya really went all out on this, Sid. Ay knew ya learned how ta cook, but this here is amazin'! Ay ken't believe ya did this all faw me." Sid then said, "Well, I love you, and I wanted to show you how much I care. So, shall we dig in"? Both Buckaroo and Sid grabbed a burger and began to eat them as the two enjoyed the peaceful scenery around them. Buckaroo bit into her burger before she commented, "This is delicious! Ya even got the right level of spiciness"! Sid grinned as he said, "Well, I definitely learned a lot about seasoning when I was being taught how to cook. Also, when I asked Holly how you normally liked your burgers, she told me all the details and I followed it to the letter." He poured out the pink lemonade into the two cups, offering one to Buckaroo, as they clinked the cups together before taking a sip. As they ate, Buckaroo and Sid could not help but look at each other fondly and engage in conversation, becoming stuck in a trance when looking into each other's eyes. They also found small yet hilarious ways to be romantic as Sid fed Buckaroo a kabob while the detective scooped a bit of the frosting off the cake and placed it on his nose, resulting in the pair laughing. Soon, both trolls were full and happy as a half-eaten cake was covered and placed back in the basket while Buckaroo commented, placing her hand on her stomach, "Ay feel mawe full than ayy gas tank in ayy monstuurr truck." Sid replied, "I feel the same. If anything, I feel too full to move."
Buckaroo then said, "At know the solushun ta that. Just lay back ayn' look up at the sky." Sid and Buckaroo ended up laying back and watching the clouds go by, pointing out fun shapes. Sid exclaimed while pointing to one on the left, "Hey, that one looks like a horseshoe." Buckaroo then pointed to a cloud on the right and said, "That there cloud looks a lil' like Trollex, but with puffy country hair." they both broke into laughter as Sid then commented, "You know, I know it's only our first date, but so far, it feels like the best one we've ever had." Buckaroo added, "Yeah, Sid. Ay definitely agree with ya. Ya know...no guy evuurr treated me like this before. I mean, Phil was nice befawe he cheated, but...you're different. Even befawe ya became fully reformed, ya treated me like I was special and not like ayy dumb tool, no offense." Sid replied, "None taken, and I understand what you are saying. When I started having feelings for you, I was first confused about what I was feeling and took time to really think about them. Then, after you told me what happened before, I knew that if I was going to date you, I had to make sure that my feelings were clear and true, so that way, once I was able to tell you finally, I was certain, hands down, about how I was feeling, and so, that helped me lead away from the path that would lead to hurting you accidentally the same way Phil did. During my time in Harmonious Land, Congresswoman Amelia and Chairman Bailey taught me a lot about romance and how to, as they quote, "treat a lady right." So, I just used what I've learned to try and make things extra special just for you." Buckaroo blushed as she said, "Ya got ayy carin' heart, Sid sugar. Ay've gotta say, ay haven't felt this here happy about romance in an awful long taame. Ya somehow lassoed my heart." Sid then said in a romantic voice, "And I don't intend to let go of it. Buckaroo, I promise that with me, I'll make you feel like a queen. I'll be right by your side when you're sad, angry, blue, etc. I'll be there to give you a hand and comfort you if you feel scared. I can see you...the real you. Underneath that tough, workhorse, tomboy layer is a sweetheart, and I'll help make sure that your sweet side is nurtured and doesn't disappear or break at all. I really like you...and...I'll even go as far to say...I love you. I know it might sound like I'm overstepping where we are now, and I'v probably said it a lot before, but...I love you." Buckaroo smiled and said, "I love ya too, Sid. Say...do you think we're ready ta tell others yet." Sid replied, "Well, so far, only Melody, Aggie, R and B, Holly, and Laguna, as well as all of the guys we know, know of our relationship, but...if you're ready to tell others...I'm ready too." Buckaroo and Sid both stood up and packed up their picnic material before they walked hand-in-hand back to Trollstopia.
Back in town, McJagger and Laguna were back in their pod. McJagger was busy making lunch as he saw Laguna playing with Jasmine. Their daughter was rolling a pink ball around as Laguna said, "Come on, Jasmine. Roll the ball over to mama." Jasmine looked at the ball before up at her mom and pushed the ball with her hands as it rolled to Laguna's lap. Jasmine giggled and crawled over to her mother as Laguna picked Jasmine up and laid on her back while gently lifting Jasmine into the air, saying, "Look, Jasmine. You can fly." Jasmine squealed in excitement and flailed her arms up and down. McJagger watched in silence as he placed the small filets he was cooking onto both plates. He then carried the plates to the table, where there was a salad bowl already prepped as he said, "Laguna, lunch is ready." Laguna heard McJagger's call and picked up Jasmine, saying, "Come on, sweetie. Let's go eat." Laguna brought Jasmine and placed the Techno guppy in a high chair as Jasmine sucked on her bottle while Laguna and McJagger took turns serving themselves salad. While Laguna passed the bowl to McJagger, she commented, "You know, I probably have not said this in a while, but, I really appreciate everything you do, McJagger. I'm so happy to have met you. i do not think I'd be who I am today if not for you." McJagger smiled and said while placing the bowl down after he served himself, "Thanks, Laguna, and I'm really grateful to have met you too. You mean so much to me. I never would have experienced true love if we haven't met." Both trolls ate in silence for a while until McJagger looked at Jasmine, who was finishing up her bottle before letting out a tiny hiccup. McJagger picked up Jasmine and had her rest against his shoulder so he could gently tap her back, allowing the baby to burp successfully. McJagger then said, "I'll put Jasmine down for her nap, and be back in a few minutes." Laguna nodded, saying, "Ok, McJagger," as the red funk troll walked into the nursery. He slowly placed her in the crib as he softly said, "Hush now, Jasmine. It's time to sleep." Jasmine giggled and laid down on her back as McJagger hummed a soothing lullaby. Jasmine's eyes flickered before closing, allowing her to fall asleep, as McJagger soon tiptoed out of the nursery and closed the door but left it cracked open in case Jasmine called out to him.
He tiptoed back to the table as Laguna saw him re-entering, saying, "Is she down"? McJagger nodded, saying, "Asleep, and she looks so peaceful. Usually, she's fussy during nap time, but today, she seemed to be pretty calm." McJagger sat down and was about to start eating, but then remembered that seeing Jasmien fall asleep reminded him of his conversation with Prince D earlier. Seeing Laguna eating, he decided that maybe now was the time to talk to her about...the idea. He slowly took a deep breath and said, "Hey, uh, Laguna...you mind if I talk to you something"? Laguna looked up from her plate and said, "Oh sure. But...can I ask you something first? After we eat, obviously." McJagger nodded while replying with, "Of course, Laguna. you can always ask me anything." After the two finished eating lunch, they placed their dishes in the sink and sat on the couch together as McJagger grabbed Laguna's hands and said, "Now, baby...tell me whatever you need. Whatever it is, I will happily help you." Laguna snickered a bit before saying, "Well...recently, I've been contemplating on something...something...pretty big. I... am still very unsure about it but...I feel as if I should tell you about it because...if the time comes that I decide on it, I want to see if you'll be on board about it too." McJagger smiled, saying, "Of course, Laguna. Ask away. I'll sit here and listen." Laguna took a deep breath as she then asked, "McJagger...would you...if in the future...I guess I should change my question and ask...have you considered...wanting to have another kid"? McJagger slightly gasped before he started to chuckle as a confused Laguna asked, "What's so funny"? McJagger replied, "What's funny is that I've wanted to ask that question to you too. I've actually been wanting to for a few days now, but...I was scared because I didn't want you to feel like if I brought it up, I was pressuring you." Laguna shook her head, now also chuckling, as she said, "Wow, guess great minds do think alike, and McJagger, I appreciate that you care about my feelings. But you don't have to feel afraid to ask hard questions like that to me. I know you wanted to respect my boundaries, considering the circumstances of what has happened to me in the past, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to express your concerns and questions about topics like this." McJagger smiled as he hugged Laguna before saying, "Well, the truth is...it'd be really cool to have another kid in the future. Forgive me if this sounds weird, but I want to have and raise beautiful kids with you." Laguna blushed as she said, "Well, note: that did not sound weird at all, and...well...it'd be nice, but...I'm still unsure about it." McJagger then asked, "What makes you feel unsure about it"?
Laguna sighed as she said, "Well, the main thing would be that...if we choose to do so, then that would mean...it'd be a natural birth, and that would mean...you know...," Both trolls were blushing and almost resembled pink hearts as McJagger then said, "Oh, I see. and you are probably feeling uncomfortable about it because of...the past right"? Laguna nodded, saying, "Yeah. While I have wanted to experience giving birth to an egg naturally after the incident with that dumb fertility serum, deep down...I'm still a bit scared of actually going through with it, especially because...if we choose to "do "it" together" and have a natural conception, I'm afraid I might have another panic attack because it would remind me so much of...what my dad did to me. And what if that fear leads to something going wrong"? McJagger then said, "Laguna, it's ok. I know that this would be a "future" thing, but you don't have to feel like this is something you have to do." Laguna then said, "I know that, and this would be more along the lines of something I'd want to do, but...I just...I don't want to experience what I went through all over again." McJagger pulled Laguna into a comforting hug as he said, "Hey...listen. If that day ever comes...just know that...I would never do anything to hurt you like that. I get that you're still getting over your past, and I can see you making great strides in doing that every day. You do not have to worry about the past any longer. The more you continue to step away from it, the better you will get, and I'll be right alongside you the whole way. I will help guide you through the tough obstacles, offer love and support if you feel scared, and...if you end up deciding that you want to have another child, when that day comes, I'll be right there to help you...and I'll make sure to do my best to give you the best experience I can and make sure you feel absolutely no pain or even a bare minimum." Laguna looked up at McJagger and smiled as she and the red funk trolls shared a romantic kiss before the antrollpologist commented, "McJagger...thank you. When the time comes...I do hope...you'll keep your promise." McJaggger nodded and said, "I always do."
Far away, deep in the heart of the forest, the Yodelers (Hickory and Dickory), the Reggaeton trolls (Tresillo, Marimba, Tambora), and most of the K-Pop gang (Ari, Baby Bum, Gomdori, Kim Patil) were running away as fast as they could. Hickory shouted, "Keep going! We have to make sure that we get to Trollstopia to warn Poppy before those blasted scoundrels come and tear the village to shreds"! Dickory shouted, "Keep running," as Gomdori asked, "You think Wani will be able to lead them away from us and not get hurt"? Ari replied, "I sure hope so"! Tresillo then commented, "Thank goodness that Chaz and his daughter have escaped and are hopefully hiding out in Trollstopia. The battle is almost here, and things are looking grim for our world." Back in the village, Melody trudged her way over to the Milkshake Bar as she said, "Man, I'm so exhausted. Between this heatwave and that poorly timed broken A.C. and the flood of customers I had today, I'm plumpd out of energy. I need something cold or something super sweet just to avoid falling asleep." Melody trudged her way inside and went to take a seat at the bar stools, laying her head down and groaning in exhaustion. Unbeknownst to her, she was sitting next to Aggie, who was sipping on a chocolate milkshake, when she turned around and saw her best friend in the sudden/exhausted state she was in, commenting, "Whoa, Melody, girl"! Getting a small groan as a response, Aggie took a deep breath and asked, "Before I say anything about how you look, are we at the point of our friendship where I can be honest with you, or do I have to tiptoe around your fragile ego and tell you you look great"? Melody lifted her head and looked at Aggie as she said, "It's ok, Aggie. You can be honest...because I already know I look exhausted." Melody wiped some of the sweat off her forehead as Aggie asked, "What happened anyways"? Melody replied while taking her leather jacket off and tying it around her waist, "I had a long day at the salon, so many customers wanting short hair to help beat this heatwave. Plus, the A.C. broke, so it was sweltering inside. I'm basically almost soaked in my own sweat, which is a bit weird, but still. But, it was worth it because," as she reached over and pulled out a new blue stylist apron that had a tag that said "Professional Hairstylist" and exclaimed, "I got promoted"! Aggie smiled and said, "That's so great! Congratulations! I'd hug you, but I can see you're exhausted so, I'll wait till you cool down." Melody smiled and said, "Yeah, I may be out of energy, but I'm now a professional hairstylist! I'd jump, but I'm way too tired and hot to do so." Melody placed the apron back and laid her head down again while Aggie said, "Well, after the day you had, girl, you really deserve to have a break. Something cold and sweet to help you cool down and revitalize your energy." Aggie then called the waiter over by saying, "Waiter, my girl here needs a milkshake over here, but can you make it extra cold"? The waiter came over, saying, "Of course, of course. Anything for my favorite customers! So, what'll it be, Melody"?
Melody looked at the menu as she said while shrugging, "Uh...I guess the Frozen Fudge Fiasco." The waiter wrote it down, saying, "Ooh, good choice! It's one of our most recently popular flavors! A great treat to beat the heat! I'll get it for you right away"! The waiter quickly prepped Melody's milkshake and brought it to her as Melody took a sip before saying, "Ah, that's the stuff. Cold and refreshing, just what I needed. Thanks." The waiter nodded in gratitude before moving on to do something else as Melody took sips of her milkshake. However, Aggie noticed that Melody still looked pretty tired and got a great idea. She then commented, "Hey, you should free your hair for a bit," and reached out to grab Melody's golden scrunchy. However, Melody leaned back in hesitancy while saying, "Uh, I don't think that's a good idea, Aggie." Aggie then said, "What do you mean? Come on, it needs fresh air too, just like we do. That's why I never tie my hair up." Aggie then got a hold of Melody's scrunchy and started to pull it off as Melody frantically said, "Aggie, wait"! However, once she finished that sentence, Aggie had successfully pulled the scrunchy off but was not prepared to see her best friend's lavender/pink-highlighted hair flowing down her back, reaching the back of her knees, and looking a bit wild. Aggie knew that the wildness was the rock trolls' and Magic Rock trolls' natural hairstyle, but to see it with Melody, who rarely had his hair down at all, and at the length it was in, was a bit of a surprise. In shock, Aggie commented, "Wow, Melody, I did not know your hair would be this long." Melody was blushing in embarrassment as she said, "Well...now you do," and added while running her hand through her now let-down hair, "It's not my fault it looks this way. It's just the natural look rock trolls have, and since I'm half-rock, that trait was transferred to me too." Aggie then said, "I know that, especially since Magic Rock trolls have this kind of hairstyle too. But why do you always tie yours up? Is that a Pop trait or something else"? Melody replied while gesturing to the length of her hair, "Well...I think you can kind of see why I keep it tied up. It's really long, and whenever I leave it down, either my bangs get in my eyes, or I have trouble moving around without it getting stuck in anything. That's why I always keep it up in a ponytail like this," as she retired her hair back into her signature ponytail. Aggie understood well as she mentioned, "Well, you got a point there. Big hair can make you feel uncomfortable. I remember I used to wear headbands to control mine." Melody smiled and said, "Yeah, but the thing is, I never felt comfortable wearing headbands. Just felt weird. My mom likes them, but I don't."
Aggie then said, "Hey, since you're a hairdresser, can't you style your own hair," as Melody replied, "I would, I mean...I guess so, but honestly, I've looked at different styles, but none if them either seem to fit me or solves the problem with this," while holding onto the end of her ponytail. Aggie then saw the scissors peeking out from Melody's pocket and got another great idea, asking, "Hey, I know. What if we cut it, so it's a bit shorter, maybe somewhere right around the neck, cut some bangs out, so that way, you could wear it down comfortably without having to tie it up"? Melody then became a bit nervous as she replied, "Uh, maybe, but I don't know about going that short." Aggie then asked, "why not? I think you'd look great with short hair. You don't have a dark past about it, do you"? Melody raised her hands and said, "What? No, no, no, no, no! Don't worry. I don't have a dark past. I don't mind getting my haircut. It's just...well...I've always felt...uncomfortable with short hair. That's why I like to keep it long." Aggie then advised Melody, telling her, "You know, Melody, you can't stay with a ponytail forever. I mean, I know that's your signature hairstyle, but it's always good to try something new every now and then. While the only change I know is wearing headbands, there's Poppy, and she changes her hairstyle from time to time. Even if the new style makes you feel uncomfortable, you can still style it the way you want. Just try not to let it go overboard, like when Holly styled Poppy's hair and made it really big. I mean, I have to admit, that was some pretty big hair." Melody chuckled as she said, "True, but you got to give credit to Holly for enthusiasm, style, and passion. Well...I'm not gonna lie, it would be nice to have short hair for a change, but...I can never seem to find something that feels right for me. And even so, there's no way I'd be able to do it myself, especially since there's so much to manage." Hearing Melody say that, Aggie thought to herself, Who else has hairdressing experience? Then, Aggie got another great idea and said, "Ok, hold on there, buddy! I'll be right back," and flew out of the Milkshake Bar, leaving a confused Melody to sit alone and drink her milkshake. A few minutes later, Aggie came back, saying, "Okay, Mel, I'm back, and I got some few hair-styling experts"! In confusion, Melody tilted her head and asked, "You did? Who," as Aggie ushered the "experts" to come inside while saying, "Trolls that we both know," which turned out to be Essence, Dante, and Delta.
Melody looked at them in shock before saying, "Delta? Essence? Dante? I'm speechless, but no offense when I ask this, how can they help, Aggie"? Essence replied, "Aggie has informed us about your struggle with your hair, and we all decided to come and help you with it." Dante added, Yes, for you see, Ms. Song, we all have our own experiences with styling hair, and our experiences will most certainly help you find one style that suits you best." Melody then said, "Guys, I appreciate the offer, but you should haven't to go through all that just for me." Delta smiled as she said, "Aw, nonsense, Mel! You've been a-stylin' ever' troll's hair faw ayy while! Now, it's our turn ta help ya"! Aggie pulled out her own pair of scissors while saying, "I can help you too. While I don't have as much experience as you, I did use to help with styling my younger relatives' hair, so yours should be the same story." While Melody still felt a bit hesitant about the idea, the fact that her friends were willing to do this for her made Melody feel deeply touched. She had a huge smile and placed a hand over her chest while saying, "Guys...I don't know what to say." Delta then said, "You can say your words by thanking us later," while Dante added, "But for now, we must help you fix that delirious hair," which earned him a confused look from Melody, making him say, "Not in the sense of it being bad, but of its current appearance." Melody luckily understood as Aggie then said, "And if we're going to do it, we have to be somewhere to do it! Come on," as she started to drag Melody to Rock Hollow while Essence, Dante, and Delta followed. Once they made it to Rock Hollow, Dante asked, "Question: uh, is there a mirror by chance"? Melody replied, "Yeah. Watch this." She walked over to a side wall that had a crossbones drawing in red ink and knocked on the wall twice before kicking it gently, making it flip and reveal a big mirror. Everyone was impressed as Melody explained, "I had it installed in case Rock Hollow ever needed house calls from me. I'll just go grab my equipment so you guys can use it." Melody rushed to her bedroom and got her case full of hairstyling equipment before stopping in front of the mirror, looking at it one last time before saying to herself, "Ok...here we go." She then returned, carrying her case as she gave it to Delta, who said, "Hoo-wee! Ya sure are prepared." Melody slipped her jacket back on while saying, "Well, you know my motto: when you need a snip, I make the trip. And-Woah," before Aggie picked her up, saying, "And right now, you're taking a trip to this chair," before placing her in a chair that was placed in front of the mirror.
Melody gulped in nervousness as she asked, "Are you guys sure you know what you're doing"? Essence replied, "No need to worry, Melody. We know exactly what to do. You're in good hands with us," as she placed a white cloth around Melody's body. Dante spun the chair, so she was facing the mirror, as he said, "When we are finished, you will shine brighter than a diamond. Perhaps even more than Guy Diamond," which made Melody chuckle while saying, "I doubt I'll look better than Guy, but, I trust you guys, so...go right ahead." Everyone smiled in excitement as Aggie said, "No need to worry, buddy! You sit back and relax while we...style it up," as Essence, Dante, Delta, and Aggie all held a piece of styling equipment while Melody took a deep breath and shut her eyes while her friends began to sing while they styled away at the pop/rock troll's locks.

About a half-hour later, Melody still had her eyes shut as she asked, "Are you guys done yet"? Dante did a fly-around inspection before saying, "I think we did it"! Essence removed the cloth from Melody as she said, "You can open your eyes now, dear." Melody slowly opened her eyes, one at a time, allowing herself to see her reflection in the mirror as they then widened in surprise. Melody walked up to the big mirror and turned around, getting a full view of the new hairstyle she was sporting. It was drastically shortened to around her shoulders, and she had simple side-swept bangs instead of the crazy long ones from earlier. Her hair now seemed to glisten under the light as Melody kept looking at her reflection, stunned and a little surprised at how it turned out. Aggie then flew up to her, asking, "Weeeeelllllllll...what do you think, Mel? You definitely look a lot better than before we started to sing." Melody looked at her reflection again before facing her friends and smiling, saying, "I like it! And honestly, I do now feel a lot better without that long hair dragging behind me." Everyone grinned in excitement as Aggie happily gasped and hugged Melody while saying, "I knew you'd love it"! Delta had her hand on her chest s she said, "Hoo-wee, we worked pretty hard ta style your hair, and we were afraid ya didn't like it at first. But seeing that ya do from a-hearin' that comfortable reply helps show that ya do like it, ayn' it is such ayy sweet relief." Melody grinned and said, "Well, I am happy my response made you happy, guys. I actually really like it. It's definitely a nice change from that ponyail I've been wearing for 15 years." At that moment, Val soon walked in, saying, "Demo, have you seen my-," before she saw Melody and stopped, turned around, and gasped in shock, saying, "Melly?! Is that you"?! Melody looked at her cousin and blushed in embarrassment, saying, "Hi, Val," as Aggie gently pushed Melody towards Val while declaring, "Yep, this is Melody alright, now, with a new look." Melody walked up to Val and nervously asked, "Well, what do you think"? Val replied, "What do I think? Let me tell you what I think straight up, Melly...I like it! You look rock-fierce"! She happily swung her arm around her younger cousin and said, "It's honestly a bit of a sudden change, but I love it. You look great, Mely." Melody felt a sense of relief as she said, "Wow, thanks, Val. I was worried you wouldn't like it." Val chuckled as she said, "Hey, we're cousins, and even if we weren't, I'd still support whatever you do. Besides, I was wondering wondering when you were going to change your hairstyle for once," while tousling her young cousin's colorful locks as Melody held in a giggle, smiling brightly. Aggie then flew up to Melody, saying, "Hey, Mel, in case your hair becomes long again, you might need this," and gave her back her scrunchy. Melody placed the scrunchy in her pocket while saying, "Thanks, Aggs."
Then, Evie came wandering around, shouting, "Big sissy! Big sissy! where are you"? Val replied, "She's over here, Evie," which made the little 4-year-old rock troll run over. However, when she saw Melody, she froze and panicked, shouting, "Ah! Stranger! Mommy," and ran to find Mal, leaving everyone confused as Val said, "Well, that was unexpected." Melody began to feel a bit bad as she said, "Yeah. I didn't think I'd now be...a stranger to my little sister." Delta patted Melody on the back while saying, "It's ok, sugar. Ay think Evie just got used ta you a-havin' that ponytail, so maybe that's why she doesn't recognize ya." Aggie chuckled as she said, "I remember back when I got my hair cut, and Matthew Lucas was terrified of me for a while, though my 2nd cousin Kaydee was attracted to me for a while," as she shuddered. Val then commented, "Well, at least he didn't try to kiss ya," which made Melody laugh and add, "Aside from that, Delta's right. It just might take some time for Evie adjust to my new look...though her reaction did make me think...what would everyone else think about my new look"? Val then said, "Only one way to find one," before letting out a shrill whistle and screaming at the top of her lungs, "CALZONE"! Dante, confused, asked, "Since when did we agree that to be the emergency gathering word," as Val crossed her arms and replied, "Since now." In the blink of an eye, all of the other leaders, ambassadors, delegates, and associates came running in as Buckaroo shouted, "Who shouted calzone," while Poppy asked, "What's going on"? Sid even commented, "If it's danger, I'm ready to whoop some butt," as Smidge added, "Me too"! Aggie then said, "Well, this is new...anyways, what do you guys think of..this troll," and pointed her thumb at Melody while adding, "Do any of you recognize her"? Everyone looked at Melody before gasping in shock and shouting in unison, "Melody," as the pop/rock troll blushed again and nervously nodded. Smidge was the first to speak as she said, "Oh...my...guh...you look amazing," while Holly added, "Woo-hoo! That's some fancy new hairdo, Melody," as Rhythm stated, "You look fab to the lous, Melody," as Blues added, "Yes to the yes"! Synth commented, "Wow, you look *imitates air horn noises*," as Stereo added, "I agree! *Imitates air horn noises*," as the twins all nodded in agreement. Sid smiled and said, "I got to say, it's a pretty good look on you," while Poppy said, "Wow, wow, wow! You look great, Melody," as Harmony peaked out from her mother's hair and said, "Yeah! The girl looks pretty," as Trollzart added, "Magnificent"! Trollex chuckled and said, "It's a good look on you," as Quincy added, "Indeed. short hair suits you pretty well," while Gust compliemnted, "You look as pretty as ayy pictuurr." McJagger added, "Love the new look, Mel; it's groovy," while Laguna added, "Note: your choice in hairstyle seems to fit you pretty nicely," while Jasmine nodded and clapped in agreement. Barb swung her arm around Melody and said, "Yeah, you look rocking," as Buckaroo mentioned, "It's ayy sudden change, but ay laake it." Everyone else piled in many positive comments, which made Melody sigh a breath of relief when she then saw her mother coming towards her, holding a terrified Evie in her arms.
Mal then asked, "What seems to be going on here," as Essence answered, "Hello, Ms. Shredder. We were just helping your daughter find a new hairstyle, and well, this is her now." She brought Melody close to her so Melody's mom could see as Melody asked, "Well, mom, what do you think"? Before Mal could answer, Evie tugged at Mal's tanktop and shouted, "Don't! That's not my big sissy! She's been replaced by a stranger! Don't fall for her trickery," as Melody felt bad again, looking down in sadness as Aggie and Delta comforted her. Branch then said, "Evie, even though Melody looks different now, it's still the same her." Evie didn't seem convinced as Aggie then said, "Evie, it's still Melody. Sure, she has a different hairstyle now, but it's still her. How about this? If you think she isn't your sister, why don't you ask her a question only Melody would know? after all, she knows you best." Evie nodded and said, "Ok then. If she really is my big sissy, then tell me...what's the name of my stuffed Glitter Gator"? Melody was about to say Grenda, but then remembered that Evie changed its name when she gave Grenda to her, so she thought about it before saying, "Churro Churro," which earned a lot of confused looks, while Val answered, "It was her idea." Evie gasped before saying, "It is you, big sissy," and lept from her mother's arms into the arms of her big sister. She hugged Melody tightly while saying, "I'm sorry I called you a stranger, big sissy. I didn't recognize you without your ponytail. Why did you change it? what happened to your long hair"? Melody replied, "Well, Evie, I got it cut short with the help of my friends because they volunteered to help give me a new look, though I was a bit nervous about it at first." Barb then asked, "Why were you nervous? Aside from unintentionally scaring your sister like that, you look so 'rocking with that look"! Branch then said, "Barb is right, and you don't have to be afraid about it. Changing your hair or the clothes you wear doesn't change who you are at all." Biggie added, "Yeah, you could wear the wackiest clothing in the world or have the world's tallest hairdol and still be the same troll we know and love"! Mal then said, "They are right. And no matter how you look, we all still think that you are beautiful, sweetheart. You're still the same Melody we know and love," and brought her daughter into a hug while everyone watched in awe. Val then got a fun idea and said, "Hey, i know someone else who will love Melody's haircut as much as we do," and pulled out a camera, saying, "Melly, turn around and smile"!
Melody followed her older cousin's instructions as Val took the picture and then wrote a quick note before placing both things in an envelope, which was picked up by a delivery bug, as Melody asked, "So, who did you send that photo too"? Holly suddenly got an idea as she laughed and said, "Ay think ay know! You will blush brightuurr than ayy glomato when ya find out who." Melody started to ask, "Why would I-," before realizing who Holly meant and blushed mad red as she shouted at Val, "Val Thundershock"! Val broke into laughter as Sid commented, "Oh, wait till he sees that photo and falls head over heels for you even more than before." Aggie then said, "Maybe I should write him a letter to come visit," and pulled out a pen and paper, prepared to write, before a new yet familiar voice piped in, saying, "No need, chums." Everyone turned around and saw that walking through the entrance of Rock Hollow was Mojo Mohawk, which made Melody smile and blush as she said, "Mojo," while Buckaroo, in disbelief, asked, "Dang, he's fast! Are ya part Country or somethin'"? Aggie giggled and said, "Here's your gal, buddy," and used her telekinesis to pick Melody up and place her in front of Mojo. Melody was still blushing as she said, "Hi, Mojo," as the male rock troll replied, "My sweet Melody, you look even more beautiful in person, especially with that new hairstyle." He slowly lowered her, like if the pair were dancing the waltz, as Melody chuckled and said, "Well, you sure know how to sweep a girl off her feet. So, you like it"? Mojo ran his hand through her hair as he said, "I love it, but I love you even more," as the couple shared a romantic kiss while everyone watched in awe. Finn pretended he was gagging as he said, "A bit too wholesome for me," as Essence asked, "But Mojo, what are you doing here, and how did you get here so fast"? Mojo replied, " I was originally coming to pay a surprise visit to my girlfriend and was just entering town when I got Val's letter. The minute I saw her photo, I instantly made a mad dash to here, and...the rest is history." He then went up to Trollex and said, "And before I forget, I must congratulate you and Aggie on your upcoming nuptials. I know you will be a brilliant married couple." Aggie smiled and replied, "Aw, thanks, Mojo," as Trollex said, "Well, since you are visiting, Mojo, why don't you and Melody go on a date? That's what long-distance couples do when they meet in person again," and hugged Aggie, who blushed and said, "Yeah, Trollex is right. You both should spend some time together alone while you're here, Mojo. No time to waste"!
Mojo then said, "Before we do, there's something I need to do. something I've been practicing for some time now." Melody asked, "What's that," as she felt Mojo grab her by the hands, prepared to say something. Meanwhile, Evie asked Mal, "Mommy, what's going on," as Mal replied, "I'm wondering that myself," as Ballad Bill came over, saying, "Hey, what's going on here"? Val replied, "Uncle Bill, shhh! we're trying to listen," as everyone watched the scene that was about to unfurl. Mojo took a deep breath and said, "Melody, together, you and I make the perfect pair. The perfect hairdressing partners, perfect for one another. I can't bear to live another minute away from you. And...I've forgotten half of the things I wanted to say, so, I'll get straight to the point." He pulled out a small black box from his pocket and asked, "Miss Melody Aria song...will you marry me," and opened it, revealing a silver ring. Melody gasped in shock and covered her mouth with both of her hands as everyone gasped in shock while Aggie whispered loudly, "My vision. That was my vision," as Rhythm asked, "You had a vision about this," while blues added, "Since when"? Aggie then explained, "You remember four years ago, when Melody and Mojo competed in that hair-styling competition, and Melody won? After he left, I had a vision, and I kept it a secret. That was my vision," as everyone understood. Melody remained frozen in shock as Mojo waited in anticipation of her answer. Melody then replied, "Mojo, I...would...LOVE to get married to you! Yes"! She hugged Mojo tightly before the couple shared another romantic kiss as Mal then said, "Um, if I may ask, aren't you both a bit young to be getting married"? Bill chuckled and said, Oh, lighten up, honey. Our daughter's a fiancee. This is a moment of celebration. Besides, we got married at 20, remember"? Mal chuckled and said, "Oh yeah, almost forgot," as Aggie hugged Melody and said, "Congratulations! It looks like after my wedding, you'll be getting married too"! Melody nodded and said, "I know! I'm so happy," as Mojo added, "Oh, Melodious...," as he helped place the engagement ring on Melody's finger while everyone cheered and celebrated. Mojo and Melody looked at each other fondly and were about to kiss again when a cry of terror rained through Rock Hollow.
Wani came running in, covered in scratches, cuts, and bite marks, as she cried in pain. McJagger pulled out his first-aid kit and said, "Don't worry, Wani. I'll help you. Branch, give me a hand here," as Branch came over and helped put healing cream on Wani's wounds before wrapping them up in bandages. I stayed behind to help lead them away before I got ambushed by-," before she saw Sid and pointed at him, shouting angrily, "HIM"! Sid stepped back and said, "wait, I don't even know you! I didn't attack you," before Wani retorted, "You and your kind can't be trusted, you filthy murders! I almost died because of you"! Delta then said, "Hang on ayy minute lil' lady; Sid was here with us the whole taame ayn' didn't leave ta go ambush anyone," while Buckaroo added, "Ayn' befawe, he was with me, ayn' as ayy detective, ay always tell the tight"! Wani then said, "Maybe not him, but a lot of trolls that looked just like him tried to ambush us and almost killed me for pleasure"! Everyone suddenly became scared as Evie hugged Mal, Laguna carefully hugged Jasmine, Stereo and Synth stood close to each other to protect their kids, and Poppy had Harmony hide in her hair again. Aggie then said, "Uh oh. Wani, I think I know what's going on, but you have to let us explain. See-," before a thunderous war cry could be heard from where everyone was. Sid gasped in shock and shouted, "Oh no, they're on their way here"! when Poppy asked, "Who, Sid," the Flexi-Troll screamed in terror, "My tribe"!
Cliffhanger! It looks like the prelude to what is yet to come has finally occurred! Our trolls are about to face possibly their biggest enemy: the Flexi-Trolls! Will they succeed? Will they fail? Wil Aggie and Trollex get to go through with their wedding? Will Trollstopia stand or fall under the attack of the ruthless Flexi-Trolls?
